Starting point is 00:00:00 Because I ain't no party like the pre-party And after the party's the after-party at the parking lot party Yes, hello and welcome to the after party. Should we do, should we start doing a pre-party? What do you guys like better, a pre-party or an after-party? Yeah, IRL, I like a pre-party better. I actually. IRL in real life.
Starting point is 00:00:25 In real life. Oh, so I can actual. I've never heard someone use that. IRL. IRL. I said LMAO. We were doing funny acronyms on the radio and I said LMAO like in the sentence
Starting point is 00:00:36 and then the next person I talked to on the phone they're like, did you just say LMAO on the radio? And you're like, yeah, it was part of the bit. He was in context. It was so funny. Let me critique your work. You had to be there. I love when people calling up
Starting point is 00:00:49 are making fun of you. critiquing us. I had someone the other day actually they called up and as they'd been on the radio and then I was like, hey, thanks. so much. And they're like, is that you, Claudia? And I was like, yeah. And they're like, have you figured out what a sequel is yet? And I was like, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:01:06 That's funny ripping. What about the guy on the text machine, was it last week or the week before that was ripping into me for my accent? Oh, yes. Where have you fucking been? I've been on here for seven years, you fuck. And you've never sounded less Australian. He literally was like, yeah, literally.
Starting point is 00:01:28 I agree with you and he literally was like get your disgusting filthy accent off the radio you sound like a dumb sea you guys didn't see that no shut up yeah we get some bad texts
Starting point is 00:01:41 and I never sorry I never saw that yeah because usually I do like to reply to some and it was clearly like someone who doesn't listen to the show because they didn't know my name they obviously just literally turned it on and heard that I have an Aussie accent
Starting point is 00:01:55 and just decided to be a fucking loser We do have that one person that comments on literally everything we do. So we can see, like when we click into the text, we can see every text they've ever sent. So if you've been abusive before, we can see. We know. So you go back and see everything and they comment on everything. And there was another person, we were playing a lot of country music and they were like,
Starting point is 00:02:15 you've just lost a listener. But they would say that every two days. And I'm like, it loses effect. Like, I do value your opinion. We don't believe you now. No. You've got to make it, you've got to stick with it. False promises.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Question. When you first started the Brie and Clint show, did you get a lot of texts on the text machine about your accent? I didn't look at the text machine for the first three months. Good idea. Good idea. So what? The producers, or did Clint?
Starting point is 00:02:39 The producers, I think. Wow, that's actually a really good idea. And Clint, I think, well, I can't remember. You have to ask him. Honestly. Yeah, it was like, I'm not. That's genius. One, I came from a station where we didn't have the text machine.
Starting point is 00:02:52 What? And then two, I knew that I was probably going to cop some hate. So I was like, oh Not worth your time Not worth it Ella, you got a great call today Didn't you? We do this game on the show
Starting point is 00:03:04 You might have heard it It's like, can I get a Hoia? Hoia? So we call people laugh And hopefully they say the hoire But so someone called me Not related to the caller topic we did
Starting point is 00:03:14 And they said Can I get a ho? Wait no Can I get her? And I was like Hoia Did it sound more like this Can I get it?
Starting point is 00:03:22 Yep A what? We're going to play that game tomorrow Yeah, we should, definitely. Yeah, why do the comedians always get to play? Yeah, they get all the fun. Yeah. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:03:32 We have a lot on the show. We have to name it a haystack too. Oh, yeah, name and a haystack tomorrow. I love that game. Every time we're leading up to it, I get really like, oh, it's so much admin, because we have to think of places to call. And then every time we play it, I'm like, this is so fun. It's such a good radio. I love it.
Starting point is 00:03:46 I think it's one of those radio games other radio stations would look at and go, damn it. I wish we thought. When I first pitch that game, I feel like no one was on board. I remember you're liking it I feel like everyone was unsure they were like I don't know Bree we'll do one and see how it goes but you know how like there obviously
Starting point is 00:04:06 there's certain ideas where it's hard to explain your vision and to be honest sometimes things work and sometimes they don't and obviously there's stuff that we have done that has never returned and then other stuff that just works yeah I want to think of another fun game I always do it to fall asleep
Starting point is 00:04:24 I know it's bad to think of work all the time. But yeah, I'm like, what's a fun game? I keep having work nightmares. I had another secret sound one. So during secret sound, I was trying to figure it out and I was literally losing sleep and having nightmares about it. And it's been over for like, I know. I was like obsessed. But it's been over for like a week now. And then over the weekend, I remember in my dream. And it was so admin heavy. It wasn't even fun. Like, I'm going to figure it out. It was like, oh, okay, I have to do this and this and this and this. And then I woke up at like 3 a.m. going, that was so boring. Like, it's
Starting point is 00:04:55 taking over my brain and it's not even part of my life anymore. Yeah, that's bad. Is that a good dream chat? To be honest, I'm not going to lie. I literally zoned out. Did you see me zoned out? I was like, careful Claudia. Oh my, my story, finish the story. And I've taken my riddle in today. Oh, by the way, Clint's not here.
Starting point is 00:05:15 That's why he's not. Oh, yeah. Oh, did we not say that? No, Clint's not here. Like and subscribe. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls. Girls, girls, girls, girls. Tensies. Question? Oh, we all hung out on the weekend, didn't we? Oh.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Yeah, question, go. No, no. No, I was just, oh. Because I got really drunk. Was this what the question was? No. What was I going to say? Oh, it's a birthday thing, but I can talk about that later.
Starting point is 00:05:43 But yes, on the weekend, I got really drunk. So on Friday, me and Ella were like, because we're all hanging out. She's like, Claudia, we're going to get wasted. We're going to have such a good night. Yeah. Go for it. But she did. but drunk Ella just sits in a corner
Starting point is 00:05:57 and doesn't walk. I was singing karaoke. Yeah, you were. You were for the first half and then the second half you sat in the corner and didn't move for a good hour. Really?
Starting point is 00:06:06 And then you text to your husband and be like, you can't put me up? Oh, the thing is so... And I sat down next to you and went, you're right? And you went, and you went, this is, I'm no word of a lie. I went, you were right?
Starting point is 00:06:17 You went, yeah. Yeah, you came over and I felt like you wanted a DMC and I was like, I can't do it in here. No, I literally came over to check on you. Oh, thanks. Yeah, there was one point where I was like, eye lining the bathroom. Because I was like, just, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Yeah, when I realized she was nonverbal, I was like, I don't think there's any, like, coming back from this. You always have such talk beforehand, like, we're going to go out. We're going to have a second time. It was like 10.30. And? I was pretty proud of that. It was bigger than some of the other ones she's had. Okay, what was your guys' favorite song choice from the karaoke?
Starting point is 00:06:53 I think what are you about this is your time to shine guess Charlie XXXM oh yeah that one went off I actually peeved my pants that was a highlight I think Huberstank the reason was a highlight
Starting point is 00:07:07 you came up to be like like Claude the reason and I was like no we're gonna lose the room you literally said to me you're like it will lose the whole room and I said I believe I've read this room and I think it'll be enormous and you're like okay
Starting point is 00:07:20 why it's my favorite song I want to sing it And it was fucking went off. I was like, told you so. I told you so. Yeah, that was a good. And what else? High school musical always goes off. High school musical went off.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Mm-hmm. And that's probably my tops. I can't really remember. You're like Charlie XX and then I fell asleep. But do you know what? Only a tiny bit of anxiety, not too much. Yeah, that's because you don't remember anything. I remember the speech.
Starting point is 00:07:48 As a person that doesn't really get anxiety, is it literally, way to rub it in I get anxiety in every other facet but not anxiety is it the anxiety of what did I do last night or is it unfounded I just feel anxious
Starting point is 00:08:04 because I went drinking last night it's both it's like for example I did a speech didn't need to do that that was cute though I'd tell you if that was bad it was fine
Starting point is 00:08:15 alright we're off to go take some loresopam to come out anxiety See you tomorrow Put on the button to the top It's a wet ass Oh he was here the whole time
