Everyone wants to be seen to be environmentally conscious in our agricultural industry,
but who is actually walking the walk?
Not all suppliers of bale wrap into the NZ market participate in the collection and recovery of their plastic,
leaving it to others to take care of.
Can you be certain your supplier is also contributing to the cost of collection?
Leave the right legacy for future farming generations.
To find out if your supplier supports
the Plasback scheme, head to
plasback.co.nz
You tapped it, so we're playing
it. It's ZM's Brian Clint,
the podcast.
Hi everybody, Brian Clint,
ingesting microplastics as we speak.
Bet I have more microplastics than you.
Do you?
Yeah.
Nah, because you like a wooden fork.
Bet I've got more micro-woods than you.
I would have a micropenis.
Who's got a micropenis?
You don't need a micropenis.
Microplastics.
A microplastic condom.
Yeah, that's true.
But then if you're the woman who's being intimate with that micro penis
you are technically with a condom on you're technically ingesting microplastic aren't you
that's horrific ingesting out justing ingesting out justing it's everywhere it's everywhere
i am knackered yeah me too it's only wed. I've had a long day today, though.
What do we do? How do we reframe this? You know what we do?
What?
We talk about, in your mind, you've got to go.
You don't say, I had to do a photo shoot today and I had to come to work early.
I got the opportunity to be a part of a photo shoot.
I didn't get to be part of the photo shoot.
You got the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon here in the studio without us because we were late.
We were at the photo shoot.
True.
It was quite nice.
You got a relaxing afternoon without us.
That sounds pretty nice.
I'd rather that.
I was actually slaving away, setting everything up while you weren't here.
But I got to do that.
I'm blessed to be in the position to get to do that.
Claudia's been holding down the fort.
I'm holding it right down.
I do have moments like that all the time, like honest chat for a second.
I have these moments all the time where I think about like really young me
and if really young me was transported to me now how excited i would be
be like shit you're doing what you always wanted you know yeah so shut up yeah stop
it is important uh i'm looking at my calendar for the next like week my calendar's fucked i
am terrified but my calendar is um Go to symphony and be on stage
In front of 35,000 people
And have your own private dressing room
With your own drinks
That sounds so hard
And then go to Sydney with Brie
To interview the stars of
The Last of Us
That sounds horrible
So these are good things
These are great things.
But you're tired.
But I'm tired.
I'm tired.
I think you're allowed to be, you know,
it's not complaining when you're like, I am exhausted.
It doesn't mean you're not grateful or you're not excited for the things,
but it's all relevant, isn't it?
Yeah, totally. Totally. It's just good to reframe in your mind. things but it's all you know it's all relevant isn't it yeah totally
totally it's just good to reframe in your mind oh it's great what oh oh it was in that show
adolescence um something bad happened um to this family and i think their saying in the family was
let's let's take the day back And it was like their way of saying.
Things are fucked.
Things are fucked.
This fucked thing happened, but let's not let it take the day
and we'll take the day back and turn it around.
You know, and you can.
And I think that's something I've always really struggled with
because my brain is once I am in that.
What do they say? You can am in that frame of mind,
I can't get out.
Yeah, you can't control the things that happen.
You can only control how you react to them.
Yeah, but there's no telling me if I'm in a bad mood.
We'll tell you.
Next time you're in a bad mood, we'll be like,
hey, just so you know.
Yeah, how do you think that'll go down?
You're in control of how you react right now i'm willing to try that okay go on no not right now you're willing to try telling brie that yeah yeah yeah we'll see you in so that movie where the guy's in the bomb suit and he has
to go in and defuse the bomb or the black wire yeah yeah yeah i'm not that bad i to go in and defuse the bomb. I'm not a bomb. Red wire or the black wire. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not that bad.
I'll go in and defuse.
You guys don't even get the worst version of me.
Claude, Claude, go in.
Okay.
Just kidding.
We might up and fuck off then.
Yeah, I think we've had enough for today.
I think you've had enough.
I think we've had enough.
But in a good way, in a grateful way though.
Had enough in a, we're tired but stoked to be a part of it.
We haven't had enough.
We've got enough.
And we're choosing how we react by ending it now.
Yeah.
Yep.
Because we can control that.
Except for this one message that I wanted to read out.
We did threaten to cancel this podcast last week at a low point.
Yes.
We received a message.
Was that not today?
It's every day, I think.
It's been another low point.
We got a DM from someone that said,
I'm listening to your potty.
Please don't cancel it.
I fucking love it.
Aw.
It makes me giggle.
If that was you.
That's all we can ask.
If that was you,
you're the reason this podcast exists
for at least another week.
And you know what that was right there?
That message right there just gave me
that moment of perspective that I
love to get every so often.
Yeah, and that's all it takes.
And that's all it takes. It just takes one
DM from all of you listening.
Please DM us and tell us
that you enjoy
stuff we do. Please validate us.
That's the only reason we do this.
