For a few years in the 1970s, the Mr. Asia syndicate made millions.
Heroin creates its own market. It acts like a form of plague.
Until jealousy, betrayal and murder brought it all crashing down.
Clark would have threatened him. Go and kill him. If you don't, I'm going to kill you and your wife and your son.

Hi everybody, welcome to our after party. And thank you to the person who listens to
this podcast and messaged us with the idea that Brie, Ella and Claudia should race.
Yeah, thanks a lot.
Can't wait.
That's going to happen this week.
It's going to happen on Friday.
It's a 100-meter sprint.
And I'm happy to explain the rules to you guys tomorrow,
but it's going to be a very standard sprint.
Just a basic 100-meter dash.
But it's not a time trial.
It'll be a sprint.
You'll be all together.
So you'll instantly see who wins.
Yes.
Can't be terrible at sprints.
Unless it's really close.
But it will be timed.
So you will get a time.
Oh, no.
What's a good time?
You know what?
What's a good time?
I think an adult, a healthy adult,
should be able to do 100 metres in 15 seconds.
What about an unhealthy adult?
I'd be stoked with 15 seconds.
Same.
I think 15's decent.
14?
Even better.
Under 20?
Good to go.
See?
Nah, under 20 I think is pretty poor, Claudia.
Like 20 seconds I think is a long time.
The last time I sprinted,
I was in high school.
I must have been 16
and I remember doing the 100 metres
on like the athletics day.
You had to do five events I was like well 100 meters easy
and it was so embarrassing
because I was like kind of keeping pace with everyone
and then by the second half everyone took off
everyone kept going and I had to slow down
because I was like I'm not made for this
I had the same issue when I did that
half Ironman thing I did the swim
I burnt everybody off on the first
kilometer of the swim and then I cr the swim. I burnt everybody off on the first kilometer of the swim.
You're endurance.
And then I cramped up and I was just like doggy paddling.
I've got the numbers here.
What's the numbers?
The average adult male, this is average people,
not sprinters, not track athletes,
the average healthy adult male should run the 100 meters
between 15 and 20 seconds.
Oh, my God.
And the average adult female should do it between 17 and 23 seconds.
Oh, there you go.
I was wrong.
Under 20 is all good.
I was wrong.
I'm in a practice.
Under 20, you're fine.
Under 20 is good.
I might go to the park tomorrow and just give myself a base level time trial.
Can I suggest if you're going to do that, please stretch because I need you.
I need you to fit and functional for Friday.
Well, I can't guarantee fit or functional, but I will be there.
Can I ask, are we allowed to decide
our footwear? Yeah.
Yeah. Okay. You can wear
no cleats. What the heck are they?
You said we're allowed to decide. They don't have any.
Can my footwear be a hoverboard?
No. Like, are we allowed to do that?
You can have sprinting shoes, running shoes.
A car? Like sand shoes.
Or like... What if we want to go
bare feet? You can go bare feet.
You can wear the Essex gel Kayanos.
I've got my Essex gel Kayanos.
You can wear the Hokas, whatever you want to wear.
Where are we going to do it?
I'm thinking we just do it at Victoria Park.
Okay.
So come on down.
No, don't tell people to come on down.
On your lunch break.
How embarrassing.
They're so embarrassed.
How embarrassing.
There might be tears on this.
I'm scared to even run in front of you guys.
I reckon I'm going to hurt myself.
You know what?
I actually genuinely can't remember the last time I ran 100 metres.
The last time we did anything running on this show is when Ben raced your dog.
That's right.
Yeah.
That's good.
Ben.
It was close, wasn't it?
He's faster than we realised.
Remember we got Ben to race Liam Malone?
Yes, I do remember that race Liam Malone Yes I do remember that
Liam Malone's
Time
Yeah
Liam didn't pop his racing legs on for it
He was there though
But he was there
He was there
And Ben only missed Liam's time by like a second
Yeah but Ben also has two legs and Liam doesn't
Yeah but Liam's a fucking Paralympic champion
I know but but still.
Who are you trying to discredit here, Ben or Liam?
Ben.
Yeah, right.
Well, I'm trying to boost Ben up.
He's not the athlete.
No, Ben is quick.
Yeah, well, he was.
We haven't seen him for a couple of years.
He could have blown a diff.
Yeah, he could have blown an ACL.
Yeah, he could have really.
Oh, don't say that.
Bad karma.
You guys could.
Bad karma.
Don't say that.
Touch your heads.
Touch your heads. Wood, wood, wood
Oh that's right
Why did you touch both of them?
She used plural, I touched both
Atrocious
Well I'm excited
You should be excited
Can we put a thing up in the podcast
Group
Just like a little TAB
Who you're betting on.
We need to get the odds first. I'm going to do a story
on Instagram after this. To be honest, I'm
the heaviest, so that's
a disadvantage to me. But you're also
probably the fittest. But you're an athlete.
You literally are an athlete. You're definitely
the fittest. They're trying to get
into my head.
Guys, I've literally...
I'm trying to claim the underdog tag. The reverse gaslighting you. Yes. I literally in the last like.
Trying to claim the underdog tag.
Three weeks have had a sore groin.
My ankle's gone.
I'm now having my hips keep slipping out of the socket every time I walk upstairs.
I have a busted knee and a bad lower back.
Maybe I do.
Man, this is going to be an amusing race.
It's going to be terrible.
And my boobs are going to fly everywhere.
You know, you have to wear a sports bra. I don't really have one. Talk about Paralymp going to fly everywhere. You have to wear a sports bra.
Talk about Paralympics.
You have to wear a sports bra.
It's dangerous not to. You'll knock yourself out.
It wasn't for all of us.
Tape him down like in that
Katy Perry music video when she joins the military.
That's right. Or she's the man.
Days like this I want
to drive away.
We're going to be exhausted after that
Can we get a beer afterwards?
Yeah
And a beer on the finish line for you
I'm gonna take a shot at the end
Can you promise not to laugh at me?
No laughing at us
Oh yeah, no I won't laugh
Not with us, not at
Look, I'll be honest
I'll be honest
Genuinely
My money
Is on you
Is on Claude
What the fuck?
Genuinely
My money is on Claude
If I was betting on the race, I would be back in cord.
Don't waste your money like that.
I'm betting on Bree.
And I hope the helmet's second.
Well, there you go.
That's nice.
Then we've all got one.
We've all got someone.
Who can I race?
Ross.
I don't know if he'd want to, but we could try.
I think Ross wouldten 100 metres...
Am I allowed to trip you guys up at the start line?
That's foul play.
That's instant disqualify.
That is foul play.
Oh, I don't want to get disqualified and not get to run.
Damn it.
If you trip them up, you still have to run.
Oh, shit.
Okay.
And you still have to get under 23 seconds to go into Google.
Okay, new strategy.
I want one more thing. Yeah. Oh, the tape. The tape, and you run through the tape if you're the winner. Okay, new strategy. I want one more thing.
Yeah.
You know when you're running a tape
and you run through the tape if you're the winner?
Oh, demanding.
Yeah, but you have to win.
You know?
You have to be first to run through the tape.
Can we get three tapes, please?
Will that drive you?
Will that drive you, you reckon?
Everybody gets a tape.
Yeah, probably.
Oh, okay.
We'll need to get a tape.
I found my medals from the Weet-Bix Kerry Kids Triathlon
in 1996, 1997, 1998.
If you guys would like those presented to you.
Yes, please.
Can we have a podium as well?
Like a staggered podium?
Yeah, yeah.
Whatever you want, babes.
Thanks.
Appreciate it.
Okay.
Place your bets.
I'll let you guys know how I go.
I'm going to do a sprint test.
Oh, my God.
So much fun.
I really want that.
I reckon you guys genuinely want to start stretching tonight.
Yeah, I need to start stretching yesterday.
Focus on the hammies.
What are the hammies?
Because that's where you're likely to.
What are the hammies?
Where are they?
Oh, my God.
Right down the back of your leg.
I think going cold.
I think don't stretch.
Yeah, it's so hard.
Because the jolt of, you know, pure surprise to your body will help
and it'll make you go faster.
Like, it'll hurt.
Yeah.
All right, that's something to look forward to this week.
I started stretching.
Cool man.
Cool man.
Cool man.
I feel like it's not a great time for me.
Like, I feel like...
You just couldn't have a goal.
You need something to work towards.
You've got nothing on this week
I've got plenty on
What's on this week?
Plenty
Heaps
Heaps on the schedule this week
Lots and lots
You've got that big race to look forward to
