Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the After Party, everybody. It's Brieclint, Ella and Claudia. Is that one name, Breclin? Brickland. Brooklyn? Brickland and Ella Claudia. I like it. In the area code.
Starting point is 00:00:13 This will bring back some memories for anybody who went to school. A school with a uniform? Did you have a uniform at your school? Sure did. Do you have a uniform at school? No, you did, Bree. Ella, were you a uniform school? Intermediate and high school.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Do you remember the feeling of showing up to Mufti Day and you forgot that it was Mufti Day? Yes. awful feeling. I remember doing that awful feeling and I got to witness it kind of this morning when I dropped my daughter, Tui, at school. They don't have a uniform, but today was hoodie day, which is, it's an awareness thing for people who have Asperger's autism. It's autism awareness.
Starting point is 00:00:50 And the idea was bring a gold coin in a hoodie. And I did not know about it. And my wife forgot about it. And Tui forgot to remind us. And so we were there. I was dropping Tui. Maggie off at school and she came over to me and she goes, dad, it's hoodie day and I don't have a hoodie.
Starting point is 00:01:08 And I could see in real time the tears starting to build up in her eyes because it was that feeling where all of her friends had a hoodie and she didn't have the thing. We got her a hoodie. Oh, thank God. I rang my wife and I was like, you're going to have to run a hoodie up here real quick. And she goes, all right, I'm on it. So she's organising a hoodie and I was like, get one for Maggie too. So she's getting these two hoodies.
Starting point is 00:01:30 And then she's like, I'm pushed for time there. You've got to meet me. at the gate. I was like, I'm meeting at the gate. In the meantime, I was like, Tui, I got you sorted. Mum's on her way. We've got the hoodie. In the meantime, Tui goes off and rides her scooter, flips the scooter and lands in a puddle, and then her whole outfit is covered in mud. And I'm like, and she's bawling her eyes out because she's hurt herself. And I was like, oh, worst case scenario. I'm like, forget the hoodie. You get a whole goddamn outfit. Stam! You can just go some pants. And I was like, I got to find these girls. I'll sort of the gold coin.
Starting point is 00:02:01 And so I went to the dairy and all I had was a five dollar, not the dairy. I went to the office at the school and I said, all I've got is a $5 note. And they said, we are not a dairy. And I said, no, no, I know you're not a dairy, but do you have. Clearly, this is an emergency. Can you help me out? Anyway, they had, I said, just in the petty change. Maybe there's just a couple of coins.
Starting point is 00:02:18 And there was two one dollar coins. And I was like, oh, take it. So I gave them a five for two ones. And we got it sorted. But it was a high pressure, high stress. Touch and go, man. Oh my God. You need to have a hoodie and a costume just in case
Starting point is 00:02:33 All of this before 10 to 9 in the morning So the time they start school? Yeah It's quite late 10 to 9? 850 That's not late I'm happy with that
Starting point is 00:02:44 Yeah I mean depends what grade you are Yeah I'm doing primary school here Yeah No we started primary at 8 Did you? Yeah A.m.
Starting point is 00:02:54 8 a.m. Oh mine might have been 9 actually We had to be there at 8 Claudia's never been up at 10 to 9 in her life. How dear? You might get up at 7 o'clock every day now. Yeah, I know, but the running jokers that you don't. No, that's Ella.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Yeah, that's more Ella. I've been taking the long way to work now. Do you think we're the same person? Yeah, Claudia Rella. Yeah, Claudia Rella. Claudia Rela. Brooklyn, Claudia Rela. I take the long way to work now.
Starting point is 00:03:21 It takes 40 minutes, door to door, and I would get to walk through the lovely forest. Oh, you walk the long way on purpose? Yeah. It's like to... Who are you? The long way to the bus. And where is the lovely forest in the centre of Auckland? You go, it's like...
Starting point is 00:03:34 In... No, don't tell people where you're walking through a forest. That's not safe. Yeah. Edit that out. Yeah, edit that part out. That's so true, Clint. Oh dear.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Oh, gosh, I'm going to die. No, no, no, because Claudia's going to edit it. Claudiaella's going to edit it out. Please, Claudiaella. Claudia Ella will edit Claudiaerella. Yeah, yeah. Thank you. We're good.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Well, it's a lovely forest. Wherever it is. I really want to get to the bottom of what was happening with me today. Me too. Oh, your package. Big mystery. Yeah. It's on the start of the other podcast.
Starting point is 00:04:06 There's no updates really, but essentially what's happened is I've been sent a package to work last Friday. It was couriered through Uber. Interesting. That's a new piece of information. So the place that's sent it to me in Auckland and they've got an Uber courier. put it in there with him and he's meant to deliver it or her or her
Starting point is 00:04:31 well I got told it was a him and to be fair I've never had a female Uber driver Yeah Do they have to take a photo like the Uber Eats people Yes I believe so Have you seen said photo No there's no There was no update
Starting point is 00:04:46 There was no update All the cameras were checked Here at work Oh no For that specific time Because we have a screen of when he said he delivered it in the exact time. So then we've went back on the security cameras to look at those exact times
Starting point is 00:05:04 because everything's on camera, everything's on security camera here at our work. And so they can look and they've checked all the security cameras. There was no delivery made, but he said. And here's the thing. Look, and I don't want to be judgmental. But. But. But.
Starting point is 00:05:20 You don't trust them fucking Uber's. No, that's not fair. But the war. But the woman who sent it said that he, when he was waiting to receive the package, he was being a bit shifty downstairs. He was having cigarettes. And then he was like, oh, well, he was just like, oh, you can wait a second, just put it in the back of the car and I'll get to it after my cigarette.
Starting point is 00:05:47 And she was just like, oh, that's a bit weird. And in the package, which was open, was just quite a few bottles of alcohol. Which is quite an easy steal So this delivery is Just because I'm interested to see how far you'll take this And I feel like I know how far you'll take it It's not a delivery that you have had to pay for No but I feel responsible
Starting point is 00:06:10 No, I know you do I know you do But you know So how much of your time are you going to commit to this Well I want to get to the bottom of it I know you do You will not rest I have that strong sense of justice
Starting point is 00:06:23 And if he's taking it, which I'm not... We don't know if he has. Which, to be honest, like, I'm 50-50. I don't, like, I'm not like, he's taking it and that's where it is. I think he did. You reckon he did? That's interesting. Well, it sounds like you've done enough research that that could probably be the only possible.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Unless a photo of the delivery. That's the thing. If he's got a photo of the delivery... But you can just request it. And that's so, so the plot thickens. So the woman who sent me the package, she said, I'm going to call. call him, called him five times he didn't answer, which he could be working. It's a week ago too. He's probably delivered 100 packages since then.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Yeah, he could be working. But we'll see if she can get in touch with him. Because, I mean, if he's got the photo, then boom. Or I've seen people, they put the thing down, they take a picture of it at the place. And then they grab it again and leave. It's so true. Yeah, what does a photo do? Nothing. Unless it's a photo of Bree shaking hands with the Uber driver and the package is in Bree's hand. All the photos of when I get Uber Eats and they leave it at my front door,
Starting point is 00:07:29 all the photos have my dog, because my dog, Meryl just with her, like, mouth open barking at them in the background. I just wonder if your package is at, like, the hotel next door, and they've just gone, like, to the right street, but just gone to the wrong door. Because they could go to the hotel across the street. Because they'd be taken in by a receptionist, and they'd be like, cool, we'll find this free person. on your way to the car park tonight I feel like though
Starting point is 00:07:56 like this is a building that No I know but if there's another reception Just across the road you can tick it off Nah Might be at the Tadoo shop Wait wait wait you just said Strong sense of justice to get at the bottom of this I'm offering you an easy
Starting point is 00:08:13 Option you can eliminate Why are you not interested I've spent enough of my time on this now I'm invested I need to know The second we got interested, she was like, I'm bored now. You guys are interested?
Starting point is 00:08:26 Oh, no. All right. I'll let you know if she gets in touch with the Uber driver. Because if he's got a photo. No. Oh, but then no. Yeah, we've written that off already. But I mean.
Starting point is 00:08:43 God damn it, Thomas L. Just send another package. Yeah, hi. God. If anyone ever made a crime show where I've, was the lead, shit, it would be frustrating. How many, yeah, how many things would you find? Not many
Starting point is 00:08:58 apparently. The first half of the season would be really intense and really sporadic and pre-going in every direction, all these different leads, like that meme of the guy with a cigarette pointing to the court board and then the second half of the season, Brie going, oh, can't be bothered anymore. We gave it a bit shot. Do you think
Starting point is 00:09:13 you found the murderer? No. I don't know, maybe. I mean, it is, he did or he did it. I mean, it's 50, Can't be fucked. Watch this space, everybody. See you later. Bye.
