I went to the races at Ellerslie Racecourse in Auckland, got dressed up. My pants were way too small, by the way. In which area? You know how tight pants on a man is out? These were like... I didn't realise, and the issue was I didn't realise

how tight they looked. And this is not the story I wanted to tell you, by the way. I didn't realise how tight they looked until I saw a photo that had already been posted to someone else's Instagram. And you could see exactly what was in your pocket? You could see what I had for lunch, yeah. Because I put on pants like that and then I put my phone into them because I wore, to the black clash, I wore this little jumpsuit

and I was like, oh, this does not look good when I put anything in my pocket because it was so tight. Let me show you the photo. I don't know if I want to see it. Oh, they don't look too bad. Yeah. Thanks. You're a good friend. Yeah, you're welcome. Or you're a liar. Funny thing happened to me while I was there.

Oh, she's a liar. But I'll take the lie. That's fine. I don't think she is a liar because Ella came into the studio today with her new shoes on and she said to Brie, do you like my new shoes? And Brie goes, I don't know if I like them or hate them. Oh my God, I love them. I hadn't seen them yet.

I just didn't. I love them. I like them when I can see all of them, but her skirt was covering the top of them. You can see the dogs. Yeah. Do you not like my toes? I like it when I can see the whole shoe,

but they looked a bit weird. But they don't go well with shorts. I think she would have told me if the pants were too tight. Anyway, let me tell you the story. I was hanging out with a good friend of the show, Maddy McLean. His husband is big in the racing scene. He's a horse guy. He's a horse guy, and he's kind of like a guest of honour at big race meets like that.

He knows lots about it. He knows a lot of the people. Maddy wasn't there. He was at Jack of the people. Matty wasn't there. He was at Jack Tame's wedding, and Ryan was there at the races, so I was hanging out with Ryan, and Ryan was hanging out with this girl. Wait, did Ryan not get an invite to Jack Tame's wedding? No, he did. The wedding was on Sunday.

Races were on Saturday. Matty was the celebrant, so he had to go on Saturday for the rehearsal. I was going to say, because Jack Tame got an invite to Ryan and Maddie's wedding. No, no, they were both invited. And what was it? Jack Tame only giving one to Maddie. Okay, that makes sense. No, Maddie was required for a rehearsal.

Yeah, gotcha. Anyway, this is all building up to what I'm trying to tell you which is the girl, woman rather, that Ryan was hanging out with, he went off to, I think, get a drink or something, and I started talking to her, and she said, oh, I'm so-and-so, and I said, oh, I'm Clint. I don't even know how we got onto the topic, but I was talking about, oh, it's because we had a power cut at home, and I said, oh, I've just had a message from my partner.

The power's gone out at home. Oh, jeez, I hope the kids don't wake up. And then that happened, and we kept talking and then she said to me so how did you and your partner have kids did you use a surrogate amazing she thought that you and Ryan were together

no she knew Ryan she knows Ryan and Maddie she just assumed that I was gay because you said partner. Yes! Maybe it's because I said partner. Maybe it's because I'd been hanging out with Ryan. Or maybe it's just, maybe I just give off that vibe.

Yeah Like you're very camp It was the tight pants probably Oh the tight pants Yeah Anyway then, the tight pants, yeah. Anyway, then as I was leaving the races. Well, it's a compliment because you obviously would dress nicely then. Maybe. Yeah, true.

The highest of compliments. Because no offense to straight men and not all straight men, but gay men do dress very well. Most of them. Most. Oh, no. I'm going to say 90%. Some of them dress shockingly bad.

Who? Name them. Name them. No, they'll come for me. Anyway, then I was leaving the races and I gave Ryan a hug and a kiss on the cheek. And he goes, you know, you're not helping the situation by kissing men as you leave the racetrack. And I just said, bye. Bye, queens.
