Starting point is 00:00:01 I'm having... Hi everybody. How you going? Bree is not here today. Why, you sound so suspicious. Are you sad? Are you okay? Yeah, I'm okay.
Starting point is 00:00:17 The show's been fun. Yeah, I'm fine, I guess. Did you ever... Did you ever... She just decided to spend time with her fiancé, which is... Yeah, that's crazy. Like, I knew it was coming. It just feels a bit abrupt.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Yeah. It's all happening at once. And I understand you haven't had time to process. Like... Thank you. Change is hard. Thank you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:33 Yeah. Are you done? Am I done? With her? No. No. Wait, is there a limit to the amount of, I'm allowed to feel Ella? Yeah, there is.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Is there a cat? It's a limit to grief. Yeah. There is. Chop, chop. All right, bitch. Ella's going in a minute. She's going on a movie.
Starting point is 00:00:51 What movie are you going to? The drama. So I'll give you a... The Drama. With Zendaya and Robert Patterson. I thought it was called The Wedding. Nah. It's called The Drama.
Starting point is 00:01:00 The drama. All right. I'll give you a, if I can, maybe it's embargoed. Maybe I'm not allowed to say my review tomorrow. I think you are. Okay. I'll give you it tomorrow. So her and Robert Pattinson are getting married in it.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Yeah. Oh my gosh. So the whole... I don't buy it. No, the whole marketing's been really interesting. On one marketing bit, it's like a rom-com and then another one, we know something happens because something goes wrong. But the way they've kind of market it, it's like both stories. And there's not really an idea of a proper plot line.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Movies are so weird these days, eh? I love it. But like, it must have been the glory days of rom-com. bombs and stuff in the 90s must have been incredible. And there was always one on the movies and you go and see one. I feel like it's so hard to market a movie these days without it being like super controversial. Like even that handmade movie, the Sydney Sweeney one, had to have like a wild sex scene in it. And it had to have Sydney Sweeney in it.
Starting point is 00:01:54 And it probably did okay at the movies. Well sex sells, doesn't it? But yeah, maybe it doesn't anymore. I don't buy Robert Pattinson and Zendaya getting married. I don't know why. Well, I'll let you know if I feel like, I'll. I can see this happening. Yeah, if there's chemistry.
Starting point is 00:02:09 If we're talking about movie marketing, can I have the floor for a second? Please. Okay, so there was Hunger Games, let's say, marketing executive, kind of sharing their take on, like, how the rollout for the casting announcements happen. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Do you remember seeing those? And how, like, groundbreaking they almost were? No, but I'm not on Hunger Games talk like you. Fair enough. With the current Hunger Games or one's about to come out? Yeah, yeah, yeah, one that's about to come out. the prequel stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:38 So there's Haymich's movie which is coming out and they did a whole cast announcement rollout. But the... Is Woody Harrelson playing Hamich? No. Well, no, it's a younger version. His name's Joseph, I think. Anyway, I'm very excited. What I'm trying to say is, though, a girl in the office who heard that the books were coming out
Starting point is 00:02:57 would be made into a movie, she cried. And so the head of marketing was like, yo, you're a big fan. I'm going to make you head of this department because she read the book in a night. and she was the one that created this whole iconic rollout and I feel like it's going to be studied. Wow, okay. And it's going to change how these movies have been coming for years. Yeah, there's been like four, four, five movies.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Is it not the first prequel? Have they already come out? Yeah, the first prequel's come out with Rachel Ziegler. Because I remember we played that Billy Elish song from it. And then I was like, where's the fucking movie? This was, the book came out last year. Oh, it was Olivia Rodriguez. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Yeah. Can't catch me now. It's a banger. The book came out and then the movie was like immediately announced. Yeah. That one, I know. That's not. Wait, my footsteps.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Yeah, Olivia Rodrigo. On the ground. I'm so excited. So it comes out in like 200 days. So far away. Yeah, so ages. But we're going to get a trailer for it soon. So keep your eyes peeled.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Okay. Hint, hint, get an interview for that. Okay. Who's the most famous person on it? Oh, um. McKenna Grace. McKenna Grace. You've had seen her in things, for sure.
Starting point is 00:04:11 She's been a kid for a lot. Like, she was a kid actor. Oh, isn't that Stranger Things girl? Maya Hawke. Yeah. Nile Horan. No, Maya. What?
Starting point is 00:04:21 My Hawk. Uma Thurman's daughter. Yeah. Oh, okay, now we're talking. Yeah, yeah. Ethan Hawke's daughter. Yeah. It's actually a star-studded cast.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Oh my gosh, I'm going blank. But rumoured that's actually confirmed, Jennifer Lawrence and Peter Malark. What's his name? Josh Hutchinson. are coming back for the epilogue. Spoilers, but not spoilers. Fuck yeah, that's what they need.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Yeah, they have to. Imagine if they did the epilogue where they recast them? Yeah, that'd be stupid. Also, Woody Harrison might come back for that. He has to. He has to. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:49 God, it's going to be literally the movie of the century. Okay, that's a bit far. But for me, it is. Yeah, and that's good. And that's good. For me, the movie of the century I'm waiting to watch is going to be the Peaky Blinders movie. Which no one else gives a shit about, but I do.
Starting point is 00:05:05 It's out. It's on Netflix. But I need to watch. There's three episodes of the series you have to re-watch before you watch the movie. Because it is a series with Shillian, Shillian Murphy. Killian. Killian Murphy, yeah. Poor guy.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Poor guy. Oh, because he can't say his name. Yeah, we always say his name wrong. He's a meme, though. He's such a meme. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Everything he does. Someone's texted and taking my thing.
Starting point is 00:05:29 In the other podcast, we talk about whether I ghost my hairdresser or whether I actually break up with her. This is the text I wanted when we were. doing it. It says, dear Clint, small business owner here, oh no. It is disconcerting to lose long-term customers, especially if you are ghosted. It makes you question what lost you a customer. I appreciated it when clients, let me know it was because I was too far away or I didn't have good appointment times or if it was difficult to get an appointment. If you have appointments to cancel, let your hairdresser to know why at the same time.
Starting point is 00:06:04 It is courteous. I think that's fair. Yeah, okay. That's what I was trying to say. Yeah, okay. I'm in a weird mood. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:10 All right, I'll dump my hairdresser correctly then. I still feel like I should have mentioned. You can't go back, though. You can't go back. If I dump her, I can't just show up. Yeah. You just did not make it final. I'll just be like, hey, you know.
Starting point is 00:06:23 As of now. I want to keep things casual. Just go for now. Saving for a pool in the backyard. No, that's not why. I want you to get a point. I'm not stopping getting my hair cut. Petrol's expensive.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Fucking hell. Is it what? Okay. Let's go. Bril will be back with us tomorrow. See ya. Bye. Play ZM's Bree and Clint on Insta, Facebook, TikTok.
