For a few years, in the 1970s, the Mr Asia syndicate made millions.
Heroin creates its own market.
It acts like a form of play.
Until jealousy, betrayal and murder brought it all crashing down.
Then he just pulled out a gun, shot her in the back of the head,
and then said to Wayne, you're going to help me bury her.
This is Mr Asia, A Forgotten History.

Ahoy, welcome to the Bree and Clint After Party. Where we are recording this. It's still sunlight, which it hasn't been for a long, long time.
We've been in the depths of winter, but daylight saving just clicked over,
and all of a sudden, I feel happy again.
Honestly, I'm still getting there.
I feel reinvigorated.
It's insane.
Literally, I feel like talking about it nonstop.
I'm just so happy.
I know.
I could skip home.
And in a week, you'll forget how dark it was at five o'clock.
And how dark I felt.
Yeah, and then you'll go all summer and then it'll come back and we'll go, fuck.
I get so angry.
How did we ever live like this?
How did we ever do this?
I know.
I couldn't live.
Imagine living in Sweden where you don't see the sun at all.
It just doesn't pop out.
I'd cry.
Alaska.
Yeah.
Alaska. Even London, for goodness goodness sake is grey in winter.
I have a question. Go on.
For the group. Go on then. What is a
dream that you
currently have?
I dreamed a dream. That you never
like a superhero and I'm like flying around.
No, not those kind of fucking dreams.
Do you really think
you guys That's Sydney Sweeney's romcom They're not those kind of fucking dreams. Do you really think? You guys.
Can I be Spider-Man?
Can I get bitten by a spider?
That's Sydney Sweeney's rom-com, but I'm Glenn Klein.
Sorry, carry on.
Glenn Klein?
Sorry, we're ready to listen now.
Glenn Powell.
We've done some thinking.
Who's Glenn Klein?
I don't know.
Calvin Klein?
He's from bloody News Hub.
Oh.
Sorry, Brie.
Sorry, Brie.
I dreamed a dream
Shut the fuck up, Ella
My question is
What is a dream that you currently have?
What'd you say?
Glenn Klein's like the CEO of
Warner Brothers Discovery
Yes
I thought he was sisters with In
Klein
Calvin's brother Yeah. Calvin's brother.
Daniel.
Yeah, Calvin's brother.
What's a dream that you have that you never, you don't tell anyone about it, but you've
had it for a long time and you're scared to say it out loud?
Like a dream for yourself or a dream that you have, like a recurring dream?
No, a dream for yourself.
You know I don't like that kind of dream chat
oh yeah what's my s what are our aspirations yeah what is your dream mine's less of a dream
but it's something that i only realized like this year i was like okay cool so when i'm a millionaire
good language but i'm not but i only realized this year like that's not a guarantee like the
likeliness of that happening is so slim and it was actually a bad attitude oh that's not a guarantee like the likeliness of that happening is so slim and it
was actually a moment of like oh that's not good oh yeah it's good this has gone downhill my dream
why if you want to be a millionaire why won't you be one yeah because how do i do that you follow
your dream you believe in yourself but i feel like i need a dream that's not just like be a
millionaire it's gonna be why not i need to have the steps in between well why not be a hundred
thousand year perfect i would love that um my dream that i'm not like it's not like i've never It's going to be like, I need to have the steps in between. Well, why not? Be a hundred thousandaire.
Perfect.
I would love that.
My dream that I'm not like, it's not like I've never spoken about it.
It was always to go to the Trivi Fountain in Rome.
Yeah. I have actually been twice, but both times it said scaffolding on it.
So I don't think it counted.
No, it doesn't count.
You have to go back.
You have to go back a third time so I can throw a coin in.
Maybe Google it before you go.
Yeah.
Well, I want to live back a third time So I can throw a coin in Maybe Google it before you go Yeah well They won't tell you
They won't tell you
I want to live my Lizzie McGuire fantasy
Yeah fair enough
You deserve it
Three trips to Italy
Just to get that one
Sing it to me Paolo
To the Lizzie Tower eh
Okay good dream
Ella what's your dream
Hmm
I do feel like I'm made for something
You are made for something
Yeah and I don't know what it is.
You're a real boy.
Do a backflip.
No, whether it's like...
That's a great dream.
Shut up.
No, it's not so nice, is it?
No, I'm fine.
I'm completely fine.
Yeah, what is it?
Maybe singing or like a documentary or like being in...
I don't know, being in front of the camera in some way,
but when I try, I hate it.
Oh, you think you made for some sort of starring role?
I don't know.
So, yeah, I'm still thinking about it.
You never know what's going to come along.
But I'm not a good actor, so it'd have to be me.
But then, yeah, maybe.
Like a reality TV show.
Maybe a reality show or like a radio show.
We could make a reality TV show about Ella called Escaping the Youth Group.
And it's all about her breaking free from her youth group past.
That stuff does rate well.
And then these like hip youth pastors
chase you. Yeah, try and bring her back in.
And that one's got dreadlocks
but he's white.
Come back, we're playing Spotlight.
Oh, that was fun. Come on, we're gonna sing a song.
Literally, no thanks. And then play Spoons.
I'm living my dreams. Are you actually? and then play Spoons. I'm living my dream.
Are you actually?
Yeah, you are.
What's your dream, Clint?
I am living my dream.
To be on News Talk?
You think that's what I want in life?
He's not living that.
I could see that.
I could see that.
Look, I'm not opposed to it, but it's not my dream.
I don't wake up every day going, how can I?
What is your dream?
You don't have any other dreams.
As the California Dream.
Like, honestly.
After the Brain Clash show.
Only like material dreams.
Yeah, but that still counts.
It's a dream.
I want to be a millionaire.
I want an enclosed garage with a vintage car that I don't drive every day.
It's my third car.
There you go.
That's a dream.
It's my weekend car.
That's a dream.
I dreamed a dream. Why don't you say that up front? Well, because it's just a material thing. It's my third car. There you go. That's a dream. It's my weekend car. That's a dream. I dreamed a dream. Why don't you
say that up front? Well, because it's just a
material thing. I guess Claudia wants to be a millionaire.
I just want money. Dreams are
dreams in my opinion.
Like it's, you know, it's
great to have aspirations. It doesn't
matter what it is. I have it.
My dream
is to be on Big Brother.
That is my dream.
That's quite a good one.
No, genuinely.
It makes me emotional.
I would be so completely out of my comfort zone
and I would walk around the house
trying to find all the cameras.
Brie, what's your dream?
I mean, I've got so many
that I never say out loud
because then it makes it scary.
I would... a couple of dreams that have been floating around in my head
for a long time, I would love to do a comedy show.
Yes.
Can I open up for you?
Yeah, we'll talk.
Performing a comedy show that I've written and actually sell tickets to it
and tour it around New Zealand, maybe Australia.
Oh, my gosh!
That's a big dream I've got.
I love that for you.
Thank you, Ella.
I can see that happening as well.
Thank you.
My producer brain's planning it already.
The annoying thing about that dream is that you have to actually do it.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's the hard bit, right?
But that's something that I really want to do.
Can we do it?
Which I know wouldn't be easy, but it would be fun.
We could do it.
And also star in a comedy, whether it be like a sketch comedy show
or write and direct and star in my own movie. Shut up.
Yeah. Brie, I'm emotional.
Oh, I love it.
See, then we can do
both of our dreams at once. I can just see it happening.
Mine feels dumb now.
I want to see a fountain.
I want to buy a car and I want to have walls on my garage.
Guys, I'm going to be writer,
director and I'm going to star in it.
I can just write you guys in. She's going to write characters for us,
and we're going to be the superficial, boring ones.
That will be rich.
Hey, I can write your character as having a vintage car.
I love it.
Imagine if I couldn't even play myself.
And Claudia.
Imagine if I was such a bad actor, I couldn't even play myself.
And Claudia, I'll write your character as a millionaire.
And can we have some scenes in Rome, please?
And we can go to the Trevi Fountain.
Oui, oui.
Wait, no.
What's this?
Oh, banger, Gabrielle.
Can I also sing a song after this?
It's good.
You know what I've learned, I feel like?
No.
It's really good to say your dreams out loud.
Like, I used to be so scared of saying things out loud,
but what's the worst that's going to happen?
Well, if you don't, it's very hard for them to happen.
Yeah, yeah. No, but someone laughs at you and says you can't do it, that's going to happen? Well, if you don't, it's very hard for it to happen. Yeah, yeah. No, but someone
laughs at you and says you can't do it, that's going to make
me want to do it more. So vision boards and
things like that are quite powerful. Yeah. Because you start
subconsciously working towards those things
because your brain's like, oh, I should do that thing that might
lead to this in some incremental way.
Absolutely. I just think, yeah, if you've got some
dreams, say them out loud because
why not? Should we make some
vision boards? Yeah, I think we need to.
That's the whole point of a dream, right?
I'm feeling very unsure about the future, so this is very lovely.
No, but that's not a bad thing to feel unsure about the future.
I just hate it.
I hate it because I want to know five years ahead and I can't.
Sometimes it's also just to, like, it's hard to just go with the flow,
but I feel like some of the best things happen.
When you go with the flow.
Because you're in the moment.
You know, you're not always looking for that next thing.
I thought you were going to hit the chorus, but.
Oh, sorry.
Wait, we could try again.
You do it.
Yeah, yeah.
Give Ella her motivational thing.
Oh, shit.
I was there, I was there.
Can I, I'll do this.
Okay, you ready?
Okay, you do that.
How much time do I have, you reckon?
Fill it out.
And Ella, you know what?
Sometimes you've just got to say fuck it and believe in yourself.
I do, yeah.
Because no one else is going to make those dreams come true apart from you.
It was close.
It was close.
It was close.
I feel like it's the end of a TV show and the credits are rolling.
You've all had a magical moment.
Go chase your dreams.
Can I see some Boyle You Out?
Yeah.
I dreamed a dream in time gone by.
She has the lyrics up in front of her.
Was one of her dreams singing?
Speed her up.
Have a great night, everybody.
You don't have to sing on Big Brother 8.
No.
She's actively encouraged not to.
Go chase your dreams, everyone.
See you guys tomorrow.
Bye-bye.
She's still going.
