Or, it was all right is that not the most disappointing soul crushing thing ever you take it really personally it's like they've said they don't like you yeah yeah ryan my boyfriend did that to me the other day um he was watching a tiktok i really liked and i was like oh look at this cute skip guy he's from amsterdam and he was so bored and hated it i was like cool showing someone a tick tock is personal

because you send them that thing you send them that and if they don't react if they don't even watch it and what was the movie kill bill yeah niche niche but i truly i i wouldn't show kill bill to everyone and think that everyone would like it. I showed it to Ryan really confident that he was going to love it. Does he like action? He likes gore. Okay. He really likes Saw, for example.

And I thought, well, there's some great gory scenes in Kill Bill. Does he like dialogue, though? Because a Tarantino film, while it is about action, it's really about the dialogue yeah he doesn't he doesn't enjoy paying attention to movies then he's not a tarantino guy yeah right yeah you're right i thought the gore would be enough to sustain him but i was obviously wrong there is so much meandering dialogue in a tarantino film. I'm not even going to bother with Kill Bill Volume 2. What about Reservoir Dogs?

Yeah, I don't. I feel like we would. Oh, he would hate Reservoir Dogs. Hate it. It's basically set in one room. Yeah. It's just talking. What's the other one?

The Hateful Eight. I haven't seen Hateful Eight. It's really good, but it does reserve most of its gore for the last 15 minutes of the movie. Yeah, okay. So there's a lot of dialogue build-up to what is the quintessential Quentin Tarantino gore. Which is the same with Reservoir Dogs, isn't it?

I almost got it over the line as a Christmas movie at Christmas, but I will have my chance. Inevitably we end up watching Love Actually,

and that's about it. Not a bad show. Yeah, iconic though. I really want to watch The Notebook with Ryan because I've always waited to watch that movie with my first boyfriend, and he won't want to watch it. Have you not seen The Notebook?

No, because I've been holding out to watch it with my first boyfriend. I truly think it's a boyfriend watchable movie. Yeah, I reckon. I feel like I'd love it. Is he your first boyfriend? Yeah. Really?
