Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the after party everybody after a long weekend or should I say a schlong weekend or a bong weekend or a massive dong weekend oh you ruined it yeah hey um this bit bit of chat didn't make the show today, but I still found it interesting. There's an article I was reading that said, regardless of how many, we don't need to use code words on the after party, do we?
Starting point is 00:00:34 No. Regardless of how much sex you're getting, doesn't matter how much a person is getting, it is human nature to believe that you are not having enough isn't that weird it said whether you're having i believe that whether you're having sex two times a month or two times a day something is built into us to go i should be having more i think that's more a man problem you reckon definitely you reckon yeah well i? Yep. Well, maybe that's uneducated of me, but I feel like men obviously need more.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Like scientifically it's true. Well, men are just programmed to go out there and impregnate. Yeah, scientifically men are built different. They're seed sowers. But then, I mean, all men are different though as well. Same with women though. There's all different sex drives. Imagine you're getting it twice a day
Starting point is 00:01:31 and you still think wicked. Do you have a job? How are you getting it twice a day? I mean morning and night I guess. Still. Oh morning. Oh. I was watching sorry imagine living with someone and you know the second you open your eyes they're going to be beside you on top of you they're like oh you're
Starting point is 00:01:53 awake are you let's go I don't know what we could do if you got a spare three and a half minutes what were you gonna say Claude I was watching I mean someone else was watching the Kardashians not me definitely a friend. And Courtney was doing the classic Courtney Travis thing, and she's like, yeah, we had sex for an hour and a half this morning. That yuck, man. That's so gross. What about when
Starting point is 00:02:16 Chloe goes over there to hang out with her, and she goes, oh, I'm ovulating. Do you mind if I just go get pumped by my husband, and I'll be back? Is that what she said? And Chloe timed it and it was 15 minutes. She said she'd be back in five minutes. She came back in 15 minutes.
Starting point is 00:02:29 They're like, I'm sorry anyway, what are we talking about? Yeah. She used the word pumped. No. No. I used that word. She implied it though. Yeah, she definitely implied it.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Anyone who is doing the fertility thing And operating through that cycle I had a friend who was doing that with his partner Takes the romance out of it Yeah definitely And it's definitely like a scheduled thing And you said they timed it to 15 minutes They'd be like just get it done No I think
Starting point is 00:02:54 I think normally they go for way longer But because Chloe was there waiting She goes I'll only be 15 minutes Yeah Romance Romance. Romance. People say it's dead.
Starting point is 00:03:09 What is enough? What is enough? It's so subjective. It's so different to every, there's articles every now and then that say like, this is how much you should be getting. But it is so down to the couple. What is enough? Okay, well, let's just talk in hypothetical terms. Couple that's been together for five years plus,
Starting point is 00:03:34 not necessarily married, but just been together for a long time, been together for a long time, and I want to hear everyone's opinion. All you have to say is how many times a week. You just have to give a number. Of what you think would be normal. I'll be fine with twice a day. Okay, now you're going to do your real answer?
Starting point is 00:03:57 Fine once a day. Are you serious? Once a day? No, I'm not serious. I'm pretending. Ella, are you joking? Are you joking? What's a date? No, I'm not serious. I'm pretending. I'm trying to discuss. Are you joking? I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Are you joking, Ella? I like how Claudia and I just did not even react. We were like, okay, well, when is he going to say the real answer? Because we're over this joke. Yeah. We're waiting for you to answer it properly. Oh, no. I'm only giving a joke answer.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Oh, lame. Okay, Claudia, what do you think? Probably twice a day. What the fuck? Guys, that's ridiculous. Your legs will get sore. I reckon your legs will be okay. You're buying into this crap.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I'm over it. I'm going to give you a truth answer, everyone. Are we talking about weekly? Yeah, weekly. Twice is fine. That's a good amount. Good. Twice a day. Twice a week. Twice a week. That's enough. From a
Starting point is 00:04:57 22-year-old in a 2-year-old relationship? Yep. Yeah. Yeah, once or twice a week. Yeah. Three times a week. Okay, fine. But, you know, twice is good.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Well, obviously there's room for like, you know. But, yeah, once or twice a week, I think. Pretty healthy. Why are we being weird, guys? I'm not being weird. Clinton started the weirdness and then Claudia jumped on the weird train. Oh, it wasn't weird. It was funny. Bree, what about? Oh, no, you already said it. I already said. then Claudia jumped on the weird train. Oh, it wasn't weird. It was funny.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Brie, what about – oh, no, you already said it. I already said. Yeah, once or twice. Yeah, cool. Once or twice. If you've been in a relationship for a long time – because relationships that are like real fresh don't count. Right, because they're like –
Starting point is 00:05:37 No, that skews the data massively. It doesn't count? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because you have the honeymoon period. Yeah. Yeah. That was fun. Ella, you just – and stop me if this is too personal, but you just broke up from a relationship.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Then you got back into the same relationship. Yeah. Did you have a second honeymoon period? Guys, I kind of did for a little bit. Yeah, right. Okay. They weren't broken up for long enough. It was like a week.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Yeah, but that week was hell. It was literally a week. It sucked. Like, honestly, the worst week of my life yeah but also a really good week of like hindsight i know what's the word reflection like you broke up for such a little break that you would like nothing would have changed to the point where he probably still had the same schedule for dinner where you could have just slotted back in going are we still having uh vegan tacos for dinner on Tuesday?
Starting point is 00:06:25 Because the last time I spoke to you, that's what was happening. Yeah, well, you know, it felt long for me. That's what I'll say. Long week. I'm not saying that it wouldn't have felt long, but it literally was one week. And it sucked, honestly, my heart. I'm not even exaggerating.
Starting point is 00:06:44 I came to work and I'd go hide in my car and I watched a movie. I dated someone for a long time and we broke up for a year and then got back together after that. And I can confirm definitely like a second honeymoon period for sure. How long did you guys last after you got back together? Maybe a couple of years. Oh, yeah, that's decent. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Impressive. Yeah. I'm not doing that. Not lasting another couple of years. What? Huh? All right. Claudia.
Starting point is 00:07:17 All right. Leave her alone. It was a real long week. Claudia. She had, I mean, a lot happened. She loved, laughed, loved. She eat, pray, loved in that week. She went to India, did a trip, then went to Italy,
Starting point is 00:07:33 travelled around, found herself and came back and got back together. It's a real relationship, Claudia. Okay, back off. Brian Clint, enjoy the podcast. I'm coming in. Well, howdy, pilgrim.
