Starting point is 00:00:00 Everyone wants to be seen to be environmentally conscious in our agricultural industry, but who is actually walking the walk? Not all suppliers of bale wrap into the NZ market participate in the collection and recovery of their plastic, leaving it to others to take care of. Can you be certain your supplier is also contributing to the cost of collection? Leave the right legacy for future farming generations. To find out if your supplier supports the Plasback scheme, head to plasback.co.nz. What? What?
Starting point is 00:00:42 What? What is this? Welcome to the Rock Podcast. Yes, it's the same. I love it. With Jay and Dunk. Welcome back. No, that is a new podcast opener, Claude.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Oh, I think we've played it once and I feel like you guys all vetoed it, but now I'm pushing the button so I get to do what I want. Right, I see what's happened. Clint was obviously away yesterday. I was obviously away yesterday. I was obviously away yesterday. Clint's away today. So the potty is me and the girls today. How do we think we went, girls?
Starting point is 00:01:13 Oh, today? Yeah. Yeah, good. Yeah, good, mate. Yeah, pretty good, eh? Or you're asking how, like, we were yesterday. Oh, yeah, how was yesterday? Yeah, good.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Yeah, good. Tried to do the birthday banger. You know how you do that? She did the math? The math on the birthday banger? Oh, yes, yes. I was like, I've always wanted to do it. Yeah, good. Tried to do the birthday banger. You know how you do that. She did the math. The math on the birthday banger? Oh, yes, yes. I was like, I've always wanted to do it. Yeah, how'd you go?
Starting point is 00:01:29 First one, nailed. Nailed. Fully nailed. Because it's quite an art where you have to get. Yeah, time it. Yes, because you have to hit the, what is it called? Hit the post. Hit the post.
Starting point is 00:01:40 And you have to get words out of your mouth. Yeah, you have to get words out. There's a little bit going on. You have to use your eyes to read what's on the page in front of you and say it out loud. All right, Claude, I hear the sarcasm. This is not a dig at you. This is a dig over there.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Because the first one was so good. I want to hear it. Yeah, we need to find it because it's so. Is there any way we could find it? You could plug your laptop in. Oh, my word. Because shit, that'd be good. That's good content.
Starting point is 00:02:05 And then we can, like, give you some pointers. I know the pointers. Get it right. So bad. But it was sweet. It was sweet. Okay, we'll cut this in here, I reckon. That was so funny.
Starting point is 00:02:18 I'm obsessed. I want to hear how you did. It's like my prodigy. Your prodigy? Your prodigy? My prodigy. Yeah, yeah. My protege. I don't know, but I did be proud in the first one.
Starting point is 00:02:31 A protege. A protege. Both. God, I'm sounding dumber by the second on this show. I think I'm becoming more like you and you're becoming more like me. We're forming into one. Honestly. I'm at home.
Starting point is 00:02:43 I said chisels the other day and mum was like, what is that? Did you? You're what? Yeah, I was like, what? Chilseas. Chilseas. I love the way it starts. Oh, got to go back.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Oh, here we go. The 22nd of January, 1989. Louise, you were born in 1989. So in 16, you were born in 2005, so in 16 you were born in 2005. Shit, no. Oh, that was a bad one. Damn it. This is how it ended up.
Starting point is 00:03:12 I mean, it was there. It was all there. I said the wrong year. That's a good thing. It's kind of like Jurassic Park. 1997, which means you were 16. No, no, no. Ella, are you ready?
Starting point is 00:03:23 One more time. Here we go. You were born in 1997, which means you were 16. No, no, no. Ella, are you ready? One more time. Here we go. You were born in 1997, which means you're 16. No, no, no. She was born in 1977. She was not born in 1997. Do it again.
Starting point is 00:03:34 One more time. This is the last one, okay? This is the last one. You were born in 1977, which means you were 16 in 1993. Here's your birthday banger. Yeah. Oh, what a banger.
Starting point is 00:03:51 You didn't play the good one. Okay, we'll hear the good one last. Good to finish on a high. Yeah, finish on a high. So, wait, was your first one spot on, was it? Yeah, she nailed it on the first one. And we were like, she's got this. All over it. 7 I haven't made 1992.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Okay, Ella? Here we go. Alright, you were born in 1992 which means you were 16 in 2008 and this is your birthday banner. Nailed it. That was great! And you know what happened? You got in your own head. I got cocky.
Starting point is 00:04:22 No, I don't think you got cocky, but you just get in your own head. It is... That's No, I don't think you got cocky, but you just get in your own head. It is. That's all it is. She just forgot how to read, I think. And that too. She started saying 2000. She only learned a couple of years ago.
Starting point is 00:04:34 You've got to give her some slack. Yeah. I'm proud of you for giving it a go. Do you want to do it today? Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:42 Finish on a high for the week. Redemption round. How about I'll do the first one. Yes and then I learn off you. And then you can do the last two and to have a success it needs to be both need to be great. Both. Okay. Okay. And then you shout me lunch next week. Jesus. What?
Starting point is 00:05:00 If you nail it. If you nail it. Okay. What were we going to do here? Oh that's right Yes you go I was talking to my Whatever Fiance My friend
Starting point is 00:05:10 I got awkward And I was like Would you use cool As a word to describe me If you were Like the first three things Would you use the word cool So you're fishing
Starting point is 00:05:19 Yeah And he said no He said No you would not be cool And he said like I'm funny I'm pretty and all these things. I was like, yeah, but what about cool? Mysterious. What were the things that he said?
Starting point is 00:05:34 Funny. That's a great one. Yeah. He said funny. He said, like, yeah, hot or pretty or whatever. Okay. Oh, gorgeous. He used the word gorgeous.
Starting point is 00:05:43 That's nice. And then. Yeah, what was the last one? I don't know. Unhing Okay. Oh, gorgeous. He used the word gorgeous. That's nice. And then. Yeah, what was the last one? I don't know. Unhinged? Yeah, probably. Depressed? Off the rails.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Yeah, off the rails wild. Crazy. Do you remember what the last one was? No. You don't. Good chuzzies. Good chuzzies. You were just annoyed that he didn't use cool.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Yeah, that was the main conversation. I say this with all the love in the world. You wouldn't know? I don't. I think you're a cool person. But, yeah, it's not a top three word for you. But if we're talking about, like, cool as in the generic. Yeah, like cool.
Starting point is 00:06:19 That person's really cool. That person's real cool. I can't say that would be in my top three words I'd use to describe you. Or maybe top five. But I do think you're cool in your own way. Yeah, right. But not in the generic. Mysterious, hot, like.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Oh, wait, is mysterious hot cool, is it? Yeah, like cool for me is like she's cool. Oh, okay. Yeah, right. Do you think anyone in the ZM office is cool? Yeah. You. Not me.
Starting point is 00:06:47 No way. When you want to no way when you want to be there's no way stiff's cool I was gonna say stiff as well yeah yes which this means nothing to the the list but it's interesting for us and that's the main thing um yeah I'd say yeah she could definitely pass Amelia she's quite like like, hippie, cool. Amelia is cool. Yeah. Yeah. God, they're going to love this. So we just name all of them so no one gets offended.
Starting point is 00:07:14 No, but there's amazing points about everyone in there. But, you know, not everyone is the exact same, and that's what makes the world go round. Hey, happy day before International Women's Day, everyone. Yeah. Yeah. Cute. What's the number one thing that you love being a woman? What's the number one thing That you love being a woman What's the number one thing you love about being a woman
Starting point is 00:07:28 I thought we were going to give each other the three compliments Oh we are going to do that Yeah for International Women's Day Oh let's do that The three words we're going to describe We'll start with Ella Okay Ella I would describe as genuine
Starting point is 00:07:39 Yes Which for me Yeah Just so you know Means a lot Is the top thing you could ever say about anyone personally i think if someone were to call me genuine i'd be like sweet you don't have to say anything else yeah that's lovely i think that's a really lovely quality what do you reckon claude um i reckon and i feel like you could take this in a bad way but it's in a positive way enthusiastic
Starting point is 00:08:03 like that's a great one. I'll take that. Yeah, you put a lot forward and you're always willing to try things. That's a great one. And I totally agree with you. Totally agree. This is fun. And third.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Third one. Great chuzzies. Great chuzzies. Great chuzzies. Great settling. Honestly, if you give a little squeeze, they're quite fun. I've got my own, but, yeah, no, still fun. Still fun.
Starting point is 00:08:27 And I don't have to go to HR, which is always a great thing. Should we do Claudia next? Oh, that's nice. No, you can do me next, actually. Okay, breathe next. Breathe. I feel like I'm stealing your word genuine. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Real. That's a really good one. I'll take it. Yeah, yeah. I'll take it. I was going to say, yeah, like real, cool. Authentic. Yeah. Shit, yeah. But that's all in one package. I'll take it. I'll take it. I was going to say, yeah, like real cool. Authentic. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Shit, yeah. But that's all in one package. Yeah, that's one realm. Oh, shit. That's so nice. You don't have to say anything else. I'm happy with that. When I say like, oh, this can also sound really bad,
Starting point is 00:08:56 but you have a heart of gold, meaning like your intentions are just like always. How is that bad? That could never be bad. Good, good. That's lovely. But like the word intentions meaning you just always got the right yeah whether it goes well or doesn't go well the
Starting point is 00:09:11 intention is okay like a good heart good heart yeah always always for people like like we're friends as well but for people just like if someone in the office was crying and you know them from a bar of soap you'd go over there yeah. Yeah. I probably would. Pat them on the head. Yeah. You would. I hate – yeah. You're right. That is genuinely me.
Starting point is 00:09:34 I love being there for people in those moments. You're very good at that. Maybe because I think I've had a lot of them myself. That's what I was going to say. I know how this feels. I'm here for you. Oh, no. Yeah, you're good at that. And last, snazzy dresser.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Oh, yeah, good fashion. Yeah, great fashion wait no mine's turning into good fashion but also stunning eyes great teeth good face this has been my favorite podcast we've done this year oh one more thing i'm gonna have to lift my head out of the studio and drag it back to my car i also love your childlike nature in terms of like no matter how old you will be you always just love pranking like silly childish like fun pranking fun never lose that because in radio you can get very like tired of that sort of you're right you know what you're dead right yeah and i feel like that's my favorite i love doing that stuff i love being silly and why why when we get old do we have to stop? Who came up with that rule?
Starting point is 00:10:29 I don't know. Who came up with the amount of times I've been told to cool it on the fart jokes or the poo-poo jokes? You're like, but that's my thing. You should have seen when we first started it. They were like, no. They're like one a week. No.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Like where I do hold breaks. It was good content. Like it's relevant. Yeah. Like when's relevant. Yeah. Like when we talk about someone getting arrested for doing a fart in public or like, you know, those type of stories. That's funny. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Claudia. God. Claudia. Bolstered you guys, now me. God, Claudia. I think Claudia, we're doing words, aren't we? What do you want to kick us off with, Ella? I think you work so hard
Starting point is 00:11:06 but also you i don't know i was gonna start with something like that but i think she doesn't realize how talented she is yeah i agree and i don't know if like on the surface you're like a duck you know just you do everything but i don't know if underneath your little legs are going like crazy because you just don't sweat you don't show it but also if you are like let us know but you're very good at your job yeah you're so so talented and i think very humble yeah about how talented you are because i don't think you truly believe nah or like think stuff about yourself yeah and seeing a woman do the buttons as well and i know your friend as well does it across at the other station you just don't like it's awesome i think it's so cool yeah see that yeah and like it's like when clint's away it's
Starting point is 00:11:48 not like oh shoot we need we need someone i just think it's so fun as a show as well yeah next one i would say fucking funny like very funny as well like actually no can i wrap it up in a bow where clever funny but witty, which I think is better than funny because it's smart funny. Yeah. You know? Sarcasm is like kind of easy. Like you can do it, but there's also a clever way.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Oh, she has a lot of that too. I think it's all wrapped up. But it's clever. You're clever. Do you reckon anyone else is liking this podcast? Or are we just like jerking each other off? That's why Flynn doesn't like doing these things. He's like, oh Are we just like jerking each other off? That's why Flynn doesn't like doing these things. He's like, oh, they're just jerking each other off.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Makes him uncomfortable. It's fun. Okay, and last one, what do you reckon, Ella? I also want to say, oh, good hair, but is that a bit silly? No, I'll take that. I love your hair and that you just change it up all the time. Yeah, you do have great hair. I would say as my last one, just a really good person
Starting point is 00:12:48 who will always do the right thing and try and do the right thing by people and that comes from just being a good human being, you know. That's what I think. Superb, guys. Yeah. I love this. Oh, my God, I love you guys. God, I feel like I can take on the world.
Starting point is 00:13:06 I'm ready to break through a wall. I'm ready to get drunk. I'm going to kick a door down. Yeah, bitches. Can we suggest maybe do this with your friends? Yeah, this is fun. It makes you feel good, eh? It does.
Starting point is 00:13:15 And it's just nice to hear it, but also nice to, I feel like I am in my brain a lot, so I think about myself a lot. Yeah. Not meaning to, but it just happens. Tell your friends you love them and what you love about them. Amen. I'll end it on this. I feel like I'm about to do a quote.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Okay, I'm settling in. I feel like that's been a goal of mine recently. You know how people get quoted? I really want to have something where I'm like get quoted by people. I mean you wrote a book so you never know. Trust me, there's no I get quoted by people. I mean, you wrote a book, so you never know.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Trust me, there's no quotable stuff in there. I might need to tweak it, but the gist of it is a compliment from a stranger is great, but a compliment from a friend means way more. She's done it. That's beautiful. Did you make that up? Might need tweaking.
Starting point is 00:14:03 No, we've done it. I love that. Peace and love, everyone. Put that on a shirt. Have a great. It's beautiful. Did you make that up? Might need tweaking. No, no. We've done it. I love that. Peace and love, everyone. Have a great weekend. Have a great International Women's Day. No! I love women! Woo-hoo!
Starting point is 00:14:13 Kiss me! Okay, two months. Play ZM's Brand Clint on Insta, Facebook, TikTok, and live weekdays from 3 on ZM. Play ZM.
