Starting point is 00:00:00 The ZM Podcast Network. Welcome to the After Party. Georgia, we're running the show with, instead of Brayne Clint today, hey, she'll do that again. I don't want to say running the show, it didn't feel nice or right. There you go. Welcome to the After Party. That's right, welcome to the After Party.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Georgia in for Brayne Clint and I've had the legends, producer Ella and Claude with me today that has a ring to it the legends you treat us nice like i had so much fun just yarning with you guys for the last couple of days um i do need to know what i'm supposed to do about something that i want to i want to put this to you so i've got got a car. Yeah. What? What kind of car? Toyota Corolla 2014. Oh, nice. What color?
Starting point is 00:00:50 Silver. Guys, I don't know. This is big ups for a non-fancy car. Oh, sorry. Who's the shit? Oh my God. Upgrade, man. That car sucks.
Starting point is 00:01:02 Rage on. But at what point do you need to get a new windscreen? Because I've got three chips running at the moment. I reckon there's borderline four going on. Really? Yeah. How do you get that many in the first place? To be honest, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:14 What are you doing? Are you driving on gravel roads or something? I blame it on the big trucks. Yeah. On the motorway. They come out of nowhere. There's no gravel even on the road and all of a sudden they're flicking things off the windscreen.
Starting point is 00:01:23 I've never in my life got a chip and then like a couple months ago i was driving someone else's car oh yeah got a chip huge chip and then not even kidding a month later in my car got a chip as well never in my life have i done it i got two in a month what kind of car do they have oh it was a big car like pajero did you have to pay for it no i've just left it yeah don't say you don't say anything you're right you don't tell people you put a chip in their car. Oh, you do? No. No, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:49 I haven't done it. I haven't done it. You've done worse. Have you crashed into someone's car or crashed someone's car? Yeah, my mom's car. Oh, how'd you do that? Lesson learnt. I think I was just checking.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I think my phone had a notification and i was new to driving and completely veered over and side swiped another car don't worry i've done it too it was bad yeah it happens though do you want to know a story yeah i don't know if i said this story okay what happened this was a part of time in my life Where maybe I wasn't such a good person Oh You're gonna hear this You're gonna hear this and be like Really it's not that bad Okay so family friends of ours One of them used to sell cars
Starting point is 00:02:34 And sold me my first car Anyway I was rushing off to work this time When I worked in hospital And they were around at ours I was parked next to them on our driveway I reversed straight into the side of their car, scraped the entire
Starting point is 00:02:52 side of their Range Rover No! And then proceeded to carry on driving to work Did they know it was you? They ran out and I was like oh So then I had to friggin rush back and like late to work
Starting point is 00:03:07 and I had to explain to work that I crashed into my family and friends car it was bad like they fully had to get a full
Starting point is 00:03:13 new paint job everything so did you leave and then they called you? no I saw as I was like when you see them in your rear view mirror
Starting point is 00:03:19 like what? and I was like I thought I was going to get away with this no my logic in my head was that oh I'll just tell them that like it was there before I went what? I didn't park up the drive that's what I thought I was going to get away with this. My logic in my head was that I'll just tell them that it was there
Starting point is 00:03:26 before I went, what? I didn't park up the drive. That's what I thought. I was like, I'll just make up some excuse that the car that I ruined was just parked and then someone else did it. It was already like that.
Starting point is 00:03:38 The logic was like, no, it wouldn't have worked. But then you look at your car as well. You're like, oh, my damage was also already there. Yeah, because that's the thing. You'll want your car to get fixed too, but you've got to put a claim in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Otherwise, so you have to tell the truth. Yeah, it's not fun when that happens. It's happened more than once, though, for some people. Yeah, it does. Who's some people? Us. Us. I don't think I'm the best driver.
Starting point is 00:04:03 I'm very, I'm not very confident And it's very overwhelming and too much going on I get distracted I'd say the last two years I've become a good driver In the last two years? In the last two years How many years have you been driving? Since I was
Starting point is 00:04:16 Like I got my license years since I was 15 So it's like it took 12 years And in the last two years you became really good You took it real seriously It happened though years and in the last two years it became really good you took it real seriously it happened though I think in those days and ages like I was driving manual
Starting point is 00:04:30 all sorts happen in manuals you just kind of like you just wing it and you're like show me right I really want to learn manual yeah oh you should
Starting point is 00:04:38 let's do manual lessons it's a school I really want to do in my life one day it's pretty fun but honestly like every car is auto now I know I just want to be that my life. One day. It's pretty fun, but honestly, like, every car is auto now. I know.
Starting point is 00:04:45 I just want to be that person in the situation. Yeah. Handy. To be like, oh, I can drive this. You should work on parallel parking first. Oh, Ella. Yeah, not me. Ella.
Starting point is 00:04:54 What? Maybe your next two years you could be good at parallel parking. I'm fine at it. No, on my street I'm good, but anywhere outside I'm bad. If you think someone's watching, you're suddenly terrible at it. No, I think that's contagious. No, I think that's contagious. I think that's like yawning.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Parallel parking in front of someone, like immediately you can't do it. And then you just give up and then someone else does it first time. Oh, I could have hit that park. And that's the worst because you drive, you're like hot sweats. You're like wow, my day is ruined. I can't bear my back. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Well, that was a fun after party. Feministing on some times when we didn't have the greatest driving skills. Last two years, though, I'm pretty good. Nice. I'm pretty good. Anyway, for your windscreen, you should get one now. Oh, yeah. Please.
Starting point is 00:05:35 That's terrible. Is it going to crack? It may. Oh. But that's okay. Do you have insurance? Do you have windscreen insurance? I actually think I do.
Starting point is 00:05:44 You get a free. It's just admin. Like, can I leave my car at work and they'll come and strange it outside work? Maybe not. I think you'll have to go in. Oh, say admin. I'd rather it just cracked.
Starting point is 00:05:55 No, that's your life at risk, you idiot. Oh, well, this life's had a good run. Slaughtered out, mate. Bye. Oh, bye. Bye. Oh, bye. Bye.
