Hello everybody, oh, we watch about the high
Party to you down
Hello everybody and welcome to the Brie and Clint After Party.
Woo!
Has anyone watched that doco about the high school catfish?
Nah.
The one where the mum's catfishing the kid?
Yeah.
No.
Throat bubble.
Don't clear it.
You can't clear it.
He's got to keep talking like this until it goes.
Do your best crazy frog.
Yeah.
All right, I'm getting the ick
I think I was giving myself the heck as well
Yeah, that's story crazy
That it was the mum
Is it on Netflix?
On Netflix.
Good?
Yes, pretty good
But I mean, if you already know now that it was the mom then, yeah
It's in the bloody teaser for it, I think.
Nah.
Oh, is it not?
No, you must have seen it like on,
like a news story because yeah
online it's everywhere. On TikTok it is.
At the moment.
I finished the Amy
Stop trying to, you're not going to get it Ella.
You're not going to get it.
She's trying a cool story bro.
Don't do it too much because you're going to turn our mics off
and then I don't get to talk either.
You have control of her mic.
Yeah, but if I turn hers off she can still talk
because mine's on.
Petus!
See?
Slightly more enjoyable.
Aw.
I finished the Amy Bradley one
Oh yeah
Where the girl who goes missing off the cruise ship
What do you think?
Don't spoil it
No, I won't spoil it
But obviously you know going into it
That it's going to be unsatisfying
If you actually think about these docos
Yeah
They're not going to find her
Oh no
You know
That one really was sad
Oh my God
It was so sad
It is worth watching
Did you pick up on the detail
About her brother
What was the detail about it?
Amy Bradley's brother's name
What's his name?
Brad Brad Brad Brad
Bradley.
Brad Bradley.
Oh, that's terrible.
There's a high chance that his full name is Bradley Bradley, Bradley.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
That's so bad.
Do you think she's still alive?
Not now.
Not now.
I believe.
Spoilers.
If you're going to watch it, spoilers.
But I believe those sightings were credible.
From what I could tell, you never know.
Especially on a Netflix dip commutry.
Netflix docoes are very biased.
We're not biased
They're very sensationalised
But I believe those sightings
Some of the people
You've got nothing to lose
Bringing this forward
Like that guy went to the dodgy bar
When he was in the Navy
Yeah
They got nothing to lose
After he went for a rub and tug
Nothing to gain rather by coming forward
Yeah
A rubber dub dub
Thanks for the grub
It's like I saw
But not she wouldn't
Surely she's not alive now
Well I mean
When were those sightings
2005 I think was the last one
Oh okay right
Yeah.
That was a long time ago.
It's like with that doco, the high school doco,
I saw people online talking about how there's a part in the doco where the police or the FBI rather figure out,
and I mean, spoilers if you haven't seen it, but they figure out it's the mum and they go over there
and they've got the police body cams.
Body cams and they go over there and they confront her and the daughter's there.
Is that when the daughter finds out that it was the mum?
So this is what, in the show,
it looks like the daughter isn't shocked at all
and she kind of just sits there.
And when I'm watching it, I'm like,
how is the daughter not like distraught or like, you know, whatever?
Anyway, people are saying that apparently they had figured it out.
Like people from the school and the daughter
had kind of figured it out and had kind of accused her of it.
And she denied it.
Right.
So they already kind of knew.
And then that makes sense as to why there's no reaction.
So, yeah, like you say, like docos, you just.
I just find the Netflix ones very soundbitey.
Well, that's why they said that what was the creating a kid, what was the...
Making a murderer.
Making a murderer.
That's the original Netflix style.
I watched that.
And then I watched one from the other perspective.
And I was like, I don't know who to believe.
You know what I mean?
No, no.
Remember I debunked that one that you watched for you
Because it was by that real, real hardline Fox News journalist.
Oh, yeah.
But she didn't, she wasn't, yeah.
Yeah.
But like imagine if you watch that first.
Oh, totally.
You know, and then you're like, it just goes to show you how much
they can like create the story that they want.
Which is what I'm not trying to create.
at any kind of conspiracy here
or any sort of don't trust the news narrative
far from it but you do have
to be careful where you get your information from
you know
which is no I'll stop
yeah don't get Clint started
one of my favourite things to watch is like
the unsolved things and I know
they're unsolved and every time I'm like
this is so fascinating but there's never
an ending no it's never an ending
and you're like oh they find it
yeah they never do
it's in the title mate
I watched this horrific, horrific doco.
No, like the story is horrific.
Like the doco real good about this serial killer that was on, in Long Island.
And anyway, it spanned, this case spanned, I think like 30 years.
Anyway, they eventually catch the guy and it's in the doco.
Oh.
Yeah.
What was that TV show from the,
like 2000s in America
and it was where they
had that guy and he was like chatting with
perverts and chat rooms
and he was pretending to be an underage girl
and he would set up a meeting with these guys
catching a predator
catching a predator or something
yeah and then the guy would
like come into the house and they'd have like an actor
they'd have an actor child there
who would lure them in
and like and then he would come
what would Steve what was his name
he'd go hi I'm Steve
blah, blah, blah.
Yeah.
And the camera crew's all there.
But they had to stop making the show because America and these guys who were getting
caught, just some of them were wealthy and they lawyered up and managed to mount a case
that it was maybe entrapment or something like that.
Yeah.
I didn't know that.
Chris Hansen.
Chris Hansen.
Yeah.
Hi, I'm Chris Hansen from, yeah, to catch a predator.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, that's, that show gave me the hebi-jeebies.
Yeah.
I couldn't watch it.
Have you seen the vigilantes?
Is that what you call them?
The vigilantes that literally on social media
pretty much the exact same thing,
but just do it for social media?
Oh, weird.
No, I haven't.
And they set people up and then they can front them
when they like, you know, the person goes to meet them somewhere.
It's so dangerous. I know.
Yeah, don't do that.
That's a bad idea.
God, that's fucking grim
A lot of watching for you guys
Anybody watching anything fun and lighthearted at the moment?
Drive to survive
I'm going to watch Taskmaster
Taskmaster
Oh yeah, Taskmaster's on tonight
It's on tonight
They gave a couple of shit episodes coming
That new season of Platonic is very good
Oh yeah
I still haven't watched the last episode
It's because it's on Apple TV
And no one has Apple TV
Why did we get it
Oh we got it so I could watch Masters of the Year
And then it just happened to see it
Have you been watching that?
Yeah, yeah, I have.
I've got a couple to go.
Okay.
I have.
It's my personal fun time show.
Okay.
Yeah.
Oh, what do you have a wank and a watch, do you?
No, not like that.
You don't need to know about your wanking and watching.
I didn't offer you any information about it.
It's my show that I watched by myself.
You said your personal fun time watch.
I have that one, and Lucy has the summer I turn pretty.
Oh, everyone's loving that.
I need to watch it probably.
I feel like I try.
Not me.
I'm too busy having a wank and a watch at master's of year.
I don't need to know.
Nothing better than a wank and a wanker watch.
watch.
It's actually the other way around.
Oh, watching a wank.
Well, it depends what you're watching.
Watching the Masters of Air, that's a
tough wink.
I need to evap after this.
Fuck me.
Not as tough as that Finding Amy Bradley
documentary.
Now that is a tough wink.
That is a tough way.
Oh my gosh.
See you guys tomorrow.
