Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, are you ready? F-body. Whatup? Is that I'm the buddy. Do you guys have a thing that whenever you go to your parents' house, it's the thing that you do? Like, it's your special skill. And your parents are like, oh, good, you're here.
Starting point is 00:00:15 Can you do that thing? Yeah, I do. Yeah, I do. I do. I drink the wine and I sit in the couch. Oh, okay. You sit in the couch? In and around the couch.
Starting point is 00:00:23 If you're not there, is there no one to drink the wine? Oh, no, there are other people to drink the wine. Don't you worry? But no one does it as quick. Then that's not. The thing. Oh, okay. That's not your special skill.
Starting point is 00:00:33 You know? I know what you're saying. Like, can you reset the router or something like that? Yeah, the printer's not working. Because mine, I'm going home to Rotorua this weekend to see my parents. And mum said, good, because I need you to do the thing that you do. And the thing that I do is clean the coffee machine. They don't clean it while you're not there.
Starting point is 00:00:50 They clean it, but they don't de-scale it. You know how you've got to do a descaling on a coffee machine? How often do you do that? You should do it every like four months. but the machine will tell you when you need to do it. There's a lot of things as an adult you have to clean. Yeah. It's so annoying.
Starting point is 00:01:05 It's pretty straightforward. You've got to put a special liquid in it. I mean, it's straightforward for a guy like me. Who's pretty straight and forward. Yeah, that's a good way to describe you. But I feel like that's a cleaning thing that I don't mind too much. Like if someone was like, oh, you can either clean the coffee machine or the shower. Get me in that coffee machine.
Starting point is 00:01:21 No one's special skill is cleaning the shower. No one's parents are like, oh, thank God you're here. You can clean the shower. I know, but it's not the grossest thing you'd have to clean, I imagine. What is it, the laundry, the dryer? No, the... What are you trying to say? Not the dishwasher.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Act it out. What goes in it? The washing machines. Air friars go in it. The washing machine. The washing machine. Fuck, that was hard. What about the washing machine?
Starting point is 00:01:43 You have to clean those as well. That's no one's special skill! No, but you also can just put it on a drum spin, isn't it? There's like a drum spin set. No, but you have to clean the silicone in the ear. But do you have to clean it? No one's parents are excited for them to come home. so they can do this special skill of cleaning the washing machine?
Starting point is 00:02:03 You don't know that. What if my mum has a phobia? Yeah. Yeah, that's a really good point, actually. My mom last time she cleaned the washing machine, she fell inside her, and I didn't see her for three months. So she has banned from cleaning the washing machine, actually. My stepbrother fell in a washing machine one.
Starting point is 00:02:15 And spun as hell. I'm talking about resetting the clock on the microwave. I'm talking about reconnecting the sky decoder to the satellite dish. I'm talking about changing the Wi-Fi password to a new password so your dad doesn't go on the Wi-Fi anymore. Okay? What's Dad doing on the Wi-Fi? My family's very self-capable, and every time I come over, they treat me like a guest.
Starting point is 00:02:37 It's really nice. Well, this is the thing that I also weigh up. I'm like, is my special skill cleaning the cotton machine? Or does my mum just want to make me feel like a big special boy with a special skill? And she's like, oh, he's coming. I've got a job for you. Let's pretend. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Let's pretend we need him to do. Let's pretend we need him. Yeah, yeah, still. Bit of column A, bit of column B. Because I do that to my dad. Oh, what do you do it with him? Less and less. I used to come up with jobs for him to do so that he would feel...
Starting point is 00:03:04 Dads love that shit, though. Yes, and so this is my point. If you can do that for your dad, that is a special service that you can offer. Even if you know how to check your oil or your wiper fluid or some shit like that, even just going, Dad, could you show me how to do the thing again? It will fill his cup. The thing is they get you on the surface. you can see them getting mad but you know that they're not actually mad.
Starting point is 00:03:30 That's my favourite part, him going, oh well, you should bloody do them. Oh, come on in. Come on in. I'll show you. Yeah, you know they love it. Because deep down, and I can say this as a dad too, I reckon he's stoked that you still came to him.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Yeah. That he is the authority, that he is the car guy in your life, that he is the structural support system decking. Oh, it goes back to cavemen days. You need to feel wanted. Need to feel wanted. Is it too hard to ask? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Yeah. I realized that with mom. I realized when I got married, I didn't go to her a lot for, like, emotional support as much as I did, because I wasn't living with it. And so I realized just recently, maybe instead of going to Ryan, my husband for this, I'm going to talk to my mother.
Starting point is 00:04:09 I should go to ask my mom about intimate bedroom advice. Oh, not that. My dad was real cute. Like, he helps me with everything, like oil changes. I know how to do it, but I'm always like, Dad, can you help? And like, yeah, all the things I don't know, I call him for. But when I was, like, having a really hard time,
Starting point is 00:04:23 I went through a breakup and I called him first. He thanked me. for calling him and being so vulnerable with him. And I was like, yeah, I'm like, of course I want to call you. Like, he's my best friend. Oh, I love that. But you also called your dad
Starting point is 00:04:35 because you found $25 on the ground this week. I feel like you call your dad quite a bad. Yeah, she said she calls him for everything. Yeah, I took to him today and he's helping me book a trip overseas. Your relationship with your dad is goals. Yeah, we're besties. That's cute.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Yeah. Also, we're equals. We learned this week, Brooke and I that your dad, he's a hoddy. Total. Brie does this to me too. We also learned this. week that Claudia doesn't like you bringing that up.
Starting point is 00:04:58 No, I can acknowledge he's a good-looking man, but I don't want you to be sexually attracted to my father. I just didn't know what he looked like. He looks like me. Yeah, like 50% of you. I have friends. What? Good on you.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Good on you. It's fucking win. I have male friends with sisters who I find attractive. And then every now and then I'll go, oh fuck, they look exactly like their brother. And I go, I don't like you like that. I'm just attracted. I'm attracted to my brother. I'm attracted to my friend as a woman.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Is it, is it, none of there's anything wrong with it, but is it gay to be attracted to your friend as a woman? Yeah, that's the gayest thing you could do. Be attracted to your friend's sisters. Yeah, that is kind of gay. It's like one degree of gay separation. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:48 But aren't we all really? We're all our father's daughters. It's okay. Gay Clint can't hurt you. He doesn't exist. He can't hurt you. Um, funny. Have a great weekend, everybody. Say hi to your dad's from us.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Yeah, say hi to your dad from me, Claude. Sorry. Unless your dad doesn't deserve a high. Yeah, then say, if you, man. Yeah, like that. Can you tell who's dead? F board. Play ZM's Bree and Clint on Insta, Facebook, TikTok,
