I'm having a
Hi guys, welcome to the after birthday
Today guys, how are you going?
Hey.
You're probably going, oh, a new week.
Yeah, Brie will be back.
Nope.
Nah, Bolt.
She's not ready.
She's pushing the boat out.
She's saying I don't want to come back.
Yeah.
So it's like a whole thing.
She's actually threatening to quit.
Yeah.
Ripping up that contract.
Because of Ella.
Yeah, I did something really bad.
She's so hard to work with.
No, Bril will be back tomorrow.
She's just laughing.
Laping up the last little bit
And then she'll be back tomorrow.
If I pop out a kid, do I get a break too?
Is that how it works?
I wouldn't call it a break.
Should I do that just to get a break?
That's quite literally how it works.
Okay.
And you get nine months, don't you?
For a year?
If you pop out the kid, you get 12 months.
Oh, that's a good incentive.
But a job stay, though?
You just get someone to fill in for tomorrow.
So your employer is required here in New Zealand,
your employer is required to keep your job open for you for
12 months.
And I think the government pays you a percentage of your salary.
A percentage of your salary for six months from memory.
Pretty good.
Back in the day when I used to work, I was at a cafe.
Most of the people there smoked and I didn't.
And so when they did their little smoke breaks, I had to then man everything.
So I very much considered taking up smoking just so I could have a break.
Because they were getting time off that you.
You weren't getting.
Because they were just got to go out.
We'll be back in like 10 minutes.
And I'm like, can I go stay on?
I'll go stay at the end of your life.
Yeah, exactly.
They'll be gone.
But I want it now.
I know.
That's the trade-off.
As they are taking 10 minutes now that they won't get.
That's true.
But they look so cool doing it.
I know.
The sarcasm, by the way.
It can look cool.
It usually doesn't though.
I saw someone say the only place that smoking still looks.
cool as Paris.
Yeah.
Wee,
we,
we.
And they don't,
apparently they don't count in Paris.
What?
Sigs.
Health-wise.
Just like how calories
don't count when you're hung over.
True.
And,
um,
uh,
what else doesn't count?
Yeah,
I was really trying to think.
Oh,
when you spend money,
uh,
at the casino,
doesn't count.
Yeah,
yeah,
yeah,
yeah, yeah,
yeah,
yeah,
yeah.
And,
um,
uh,
if you get it,
if you,
if you,
if,
if you,
you buy something and then you take it back and you get a refund, that's free money.
Oh, it is.
That's free money.
I did this, Clint.
I bought a, I've been wanting it for ages, a $400 stereo.
So we bought it for the car because I want maps on the car.
Oh, you bought like a touchscreen one.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then it didn't fit properly, which we checked and the guy said it's all good and then it turned out.
Oh, what a plumber.
But anyway, we got $400 back.
What should I spend it on?
You can do whatever you want with that.
There's a free $400.
I was doing marketplace selling and people keep paying me cash.
So when they do, I transfer money from my account into my savings account so that I'm like, cool, at least I put money in savings.
But then this cash that I'm holding now, I'm like, that's now free money.
Cash does feel like free money.
Cash and money in my savings.
Hell yeah.
You got any cash?
I'd love some.
Always.
How much you've got?
How much do you got?
Can I tell?
Just give me something.
Come on.
You got games on your phone?
Yeah, exactly.
We actually used to do that.
Remember during the show cord, we'd be like, Clint, we're hungry.
Oh, yeah?
Can we use some money, Ken?
You used to be so generous.
I ruined it though
I ruined it when he gave me a $20 note and I bought baby oil
Oh you're so dumb
Yeah you're so mad and I did feel bad
When it wasn't even that I was hung over
Oh were you?
And I was like please can you get me a can
That's right
Of Coke Zero
And I gave Ella cash and said and get yourself a drink too
And Ella came back
I mean it's my fault for being hungover
But Alex so I said this is all I wanted
A can of Coke Zero
And get yourself something
Yeah
Ella came back with a plastic bottle of Diet Coke
Oh, wrong one
I don't know, people are so specific
And two bottles of baby oil
And I was like, why did you get these?
And she's like, because it's funny, because of P Diddy.
Well, that's not funny though.
It's really not funny, though, is it?
What the...
Yeah, I miss a mark on that.
I was influenced by our friend Night Show host, Brooke.
She was like, yeah, do it.
Yeah, there's really your mistake.
Again, again, this is people who think that
cash is free money
They're like, it's not real
I should I give me you 20 dollars back
Do you want that?
Cash is free money
And Clint's money is free money
Oh yeah
So I've never been
Promised or sent on a dairy run
Ever since
When I was a kid
My dad used to nap on the couch all the time
And he always had coins in his pocket
So we knew that whenever he got up
From his nap on the couch
You'd be the first one to get to that couch
Dig between the cushions
Because there's always coins
That's always coins that have come out of dad's pockets
That's cute
while he's slept and fallen down the cracks.
Every time he caught me though, he's like, give me that back.
Aw.
There's some kind of low-hanging fruit joke here about
Crohn purse.
Dad's coin purse.
I don't know what that means.
Or dad's a crack.
If you don't know what that means,
and the crack was another one too.
That's all right.
But we need Bree here to make amateur jokes like that.
What are we going to do with Bree tomorrow?
We're going to like lift her up in the air and chant her name.
That's what we usually do.
That's what we usually do.
Yeah.
Maybe we should do something more special.
Well, she's done.
like a big thing. This is a big life thing.
We need to celebrate.
No? Okay, just me. I'll celebrate with her.
And you can look on the outside. I'm nodding. I just don't have any ideas.
Okay, that's all right.
Did you get the present that you said you're going to get?
I'll do that tomorrow morning.
I will. I will go to the bookshop tomorrow. What do you want? What do we get here?
What did you say?
You picked, you guys picked, we all picked a book and you said you were going to get the books.
And you said, Clint, do you want to choose a book because we're going to get these books for Brie?
And I chose a book.
Yeah, I do remember that. Okay, I can do that tomorrow.
That'll be perfect, perfect, because you're back.
Cool, cool.
I'll give you cash.
Really?
Yeah, free money!
Thank you, I really need it.
I've spent all my money this paycheck, climbing, crawling until Friday.
Oh, I owe you money for Mama Dyes present too.
I actually paid for that.
You paid for it?
Yeah.
Or then I owe you money for Mama Dish.
No, no.
Absolutely not.
I did that.
You guys are the worst.
Breeze back tomorrow.
See you guys then.
Bye.
