You tapped it, so we're playing it.
It's ZM's Brian Clint, the podcast.
Bree's back.
It's been three weeks since Little Baby Toto arrived and three weeks of being at home in your baby bubble.
So we've got to know, how's it been?
How's it going?
How's the family?
Yeah.
God, it's a real whirlwind being back.
And I feel like the last three weeks have been amazing, like, have been so special.
My mum's been here, which has been.
really awesome to have her around and create memories with her.
But it's been, yeah, what a crazy, wild experience that overnight my whole world has just
changed instantly.
Look, I didn't like sleep anyway.
I didn't like it.
I think it's overrated.
Sleep, whatever.
I will report that Toto is definitely my son.
there is a big reason that I know he's my son.
Fletulants.
He's got so much gas in him.
Yeah.
God, he farts like a trooper.
It's because he's eating heats.
Yeah, he's, he guzzles it.
We call him the truffle pig.
Oh, yeah.
Because he just, not the guzzler.
He just,
whenever he gets close to my fiance,
my fiance's Sophia and he smells the milk,
it's just,
just give me the milk.
Do you get jealous and ever think about like smearing some milk?
on you so that he'll be like give you more attention.
It is one of those weird things where you do feel like a little bit like, oh.
Redundant.
Redundant.
Like what am I here to do?
You are there to make cups of tea and support her.
100%.
That's what I've been doing.
Just everything that I can do.
But yeah, it's been amazing.
Like I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Like it just, it feels so, so cool.
Have you guys left the house as a family yet?
We have.
We've left quite a few times actually.
We, our auntie, my fiancé, her auntie had her birthday,
and that was the first out where we all went out just around the corner.
He slept the whole time, which was good.
And just as he was about to kick off, we were like, oh, look, time to leave.
You now have the perfect excuse to not only leave something to not go at all.
Like you can now, you can cancel 10 minutes before.
You can go, so sorry, guys, we didn't make it out.
the door. You understand.
Mm-hmm. I realize this.
Not forever, just for a little bit.
But just for a bit. And, um, yeah, it's, I never thought I would finally get to this place
in my life where I was a mum. And to finally have that feeling where you're like,
oh, this is my son. And I just miss him so much. Like, even,
even like coming into work today.
I know that sounds so lame,
but like I miss him.
Like, and I just have so much unconditional love,
like straight away as soon as I met him.
And I was just kind of like,
this is just everything I thought it was going to be and more.
That's good.
And it helps when he is screaming.
Yeah.
It's interesting.
And some people listening to this will go,
oh, that's, and they'll feel bad
because not everybody gets the overwhelming love thing straight away.
Like sometimes, it happened for me,
but sometimes it takes it.
time to build, which is totally okay as well.
It's just fine, yeah.
But that's so good to hear that you've got it and that things are going well.
It helps when he's screaming bloody murder at 3am.
I'll tell you that.
Yeah, you've got to call on that massive well of undying love.
You are lucky, you are cute.
How are you feeling about your support network, Mama Die, going home tomorrow?
Not great.
No.
It's pretty overwhelming.
Because the trainer wheels are coming off.
100%.
You're like, oh, it's just going to be us.
And, you know, like, my mum is, she's raised three babies.
She's done it before.
She's pretty knowledgeable.
She's got grandkids.
She got grandkids.
And so having her there as a support, but it's literally just going to be me, my fiancé, Sophia and our son, Toto in the house.
And producer Ella, you know, she's ready to babysat at the drop of a hat.
Like, I won't be crazy keen, but I'm here if you need.
You know what I mean?
She's crazy, kid.
No, yeah, you're crazy.
She offered to breastfeed.
No, Clint, that was an off-year chat.
Ella.
I'm not sure she 100% knows how it works.
We are in...
But it's the offer that counts.
I mean, we are in the market for a witness.
I do, well, maybe.
