Starting point is 00:00:00 ZM's Brea and Clint podcast. Play ZDM's Brie and Clint. Kasha, she's a name that we've known for a while. In fact, she is someone who was a part of Friday Jams most weeks. I mean, I love me some Keshire. Kasha is someone that you wouldn't expect to go to Taylor's Fuss Whitting, but did she? She did.
Starting point is 00:00:17 You know one of my first gigs in radio? I was working at this radio station in Brisbane, and Keshire was coming to the country. And people always used to say, like, especially when I was younger, that her and I look like each other? see it. Especially when I was a bit more disheveled as well, like and so was she. Like, you know, was. Was. Still is, me. Um, and they forced me to dress up like her. They hired fake security and then maybe walk down the main street in Brisbane. And it caused like a ruckus.
Starting point is 00:00:48 There was like people, and they thought, a lot of people thought I was her. There was this full crowd like following us. I was wearing like sunglasses and like, you know, trying to like keep my head down. but it was crazy. It was like one of the first things I did in radio. Was it, okay, obviously you weren't, you're not her, but in that experience, was it, did you get like a little glimpse of like a silly really life and how overwhelming it would be?
Starting point is 00:01:12 Yeah, it was at her peak of fame too. So I was like, whoa, this is full on. Like there was people taking photos, there was like people trying to like grab me. I was like, this is crazy. Oh, yeah, no, did it put you off wanting to be a big superstar? Nah, made me want to be one even more. No, I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Well, it might make you end up doing weird things, which I know a lot of people do, but Kasha, she's come out with a real rogue one. It was on a podcast called La Coulteristas. LeCulturista is such a good podcast. I've never listened to it. You actually introduced me to this podcast. You need to go listen to it.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Yeah. Yeah. A couple of guys from SNL. Bowen. He is the best cast member, one of, on SNL. And he always is standout. And he's one of the host, same of the guy called Matt Rogers. But we had a revelation.
Starting point is 00:01:58 from Keisha. And do you know that I collect teeth? You do? What sort of teeth? Well, the teeth started when I became obsessed with my fans. And then someone was like, my child lost their teeth. And I was like, can I have them? Because I want to make jewelry out of it.
Starting point is 00:02:18 And so then I made a necklace and an earring and then a belt and then a crown. Yeah, a crown. Oh, the crown's wild. And then I just started collecting them because it kind of freaky. out street man. Yeah. Not just straight men, sweetheart. What the hell?
Starting point is 00:02:32 She's collecting teeth? And she's putting them on a necklace. I mean, I like, I mean. I mean, and the words of Kesha. We are who we are. Nice reference, George. Solid, solid from you. I'm all for like collecting a cool shark's tooth.
Starting point is 00:02:50 You know, people have those on their necklace. Yeah, they weren't on a human that you might know or someone's nana or something. Yeah, weird. Teeth freak me out at the best of times. Same. And now that you're saying teeth, they can't stop looking at your teeth. Which one would you want? Move away from the mic just a little bit.
Starting point is 00:03:07 I think I want your middle left. Middle left? I've got solid canines on me. They're real wide span, like a good, good bit of distance on them. Real sharp. Like Edward Cullinney. Have you had braces? Never. Oh, you're one of those. You know why? The dentist said to me, because my teeth are straight, quite straight for not having braces.
Starting point is 00:03:27 and he goes, it's because you got a huge mouth. And you said, well... He goes, you've got enough room full of your teeth. You got a huge, wide mouth. And I was like, great. I'll take it. You can do a lot with that, man. Collecting teeth, that's weird.
Starting point is 00:03:41 It is weird. It's like those people that collect their nail clippings and put them in a jar. That's, that one's even more disgusting. That's disgusting because nail clippings, like when your nails get long, like mine are out the gate right now. I can't even think about a whole jar of nail clippings.
Starting point is 00:03:54 They're manky, because they go yellow. Okay, that's yuck. Oh, I'm just saying that we're sewing right now, but I'm like, ha ha, ha, that's me. You reckon there's someone listening that collects their nail clippings? 100%. I wanted to ask people this afternoon,
Starting point is 00:04:08 what is the weird collection? Like, Keshire is collecting human teeth. What is the weird collection? And it might not be as weird as Kesh's, or it might be. But I want to know, is it yours? Is it someone you know? Maybe it's someone you dated.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Maybe you found out that some guy that you dated was collecting, I don't know, dull hair. Oh, no, there's a complex there. You know, like, I don't know. There's some sort of it. Nah. What is the weird collection? We would love to hear from you this afternoon. Oh, 800 dials at M or you can text us on 9-6-9-6. Look, we might judge you, but it's a part of the fun. I have to be honest. I probably am. Okay. And a nice way, though? Always a nice way.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Always a nice way. Nice judgment. Dead end Franklin. Few people have texts through and said my mum still has me and my siblings baby teeth. We are now 25, 28 and 30. I kind of get that because it was maybe the first tooth you lost. It's like I've got my hair from the first hair cut I had. Like that long ponytail. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:08 So I can understand those ones, but it's your own. It's not a random. They must have had cavities in them. They must have had cavities those teeth because the tooth fairy doesn't take teeth with cavities. Oh. That's common knowledge. I wasn't, I don't know. I didn't get told that.
Starting point is 00:05:23 we're asking people this afternoon, what is the weird collection? Let's talk to Emily. Hello. Hello. Happy Friday. What is the, is it the weird collection you have, Emily? Yes. But in saying that, you said about like baby teeth and stuff, my mum has my sister's
Starting point is 00:05:40 grommets like taped into her baby book. Shut. So for people that don't know, I had grommets. So you get these little plastic things inserted into your ear canal to like widen your ear canal and then eventually like as you grow they come out of your ears and you said Emily your mum has taped them into a book
Starting point is 00:06:00 yeah so we have baby books from age of one like born to five and yeah hers is my sister's a book taped into her that is so yuck but yeah that wasn't that's just you know on the topic of that but um so I have very blonde here
Starting point is 00:06:16 okay but I have two very coarse thick hairs that grow out of two different like moulds in my face. Same, sis. It's like a brown, it's like a black coarse and it's just one here. And I plucked them
Starting point is 00:06:32 and I kind of unintentionally started putting them all in this jar in the bathroom. I was like, like, it was just kind of like oh, the jar's there, so I just kind of plucked them out and I put them in there because it's where the tweezers got. Emily. No, Emily. Where they are. Now I also is Emma Gow that has a couple of coarse
Starting point is 00:06:52 little strays, one on the chimp. do. They just go straight down the drain. But I'm not collecting them. I put them in the dark because that's how the tweezers go in. I think it's just like a Emily, you're weird and I love that about you. How many have we got? Well, I do
Starting point is 00:07:08 maybe like once every two weeks and I've been in my house about two years. You beautiful weirdo Emily. We don't have caller of the week, but Emily would have got it. Yeah, 100% Emily. Yep, we appreciate you. Thanks. She's just fine.
Starting point is 00:07:24 She's like, oh, well, there we go. I got their approval. Let's talk to Lucy and Sarah. Good afternoon. Happy Friday. Hello. Hello. Hi.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Do you guys both have a weird collection? Yeah, we shouted it together. It was the whole joke. Okay. And what do you collect? Eye lashes. Oh, I come with us. Oh, eyelashes.
Starting point is 00:07:48 You're not pulling them out, are you? No, like, once it fall out, it was like, collect. Like, we stood it as a day. joke, look at inside joke, and then we just kept doing it. Yeah. How many do you have? And it's been going on for like two years now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:02 How many do you have, you reckon? Oh, maybe like... About 800, maybe. No, you do not. God, you guys could sell these to, like, an eyelash extension place if you want to. Yeah. We wanted to. We were talking about that.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Yeah, we actually, like, do falsies, like, as, like, a psychic. Yeah. Are you guys? like besties, like joined at the hip? Yeah, we're like, we've been best friends since, like, we were in kindergarten. I can tell you, almost like, finishing each other's sentences, yeah. That's so buzzy girls. Thanks for calling.
Starting point is 00:08:39 I've got a real heck about people's here. Oh, really? Eyelashes don't freak me out, though. You don't see clence that gather up on the disc in front of you. Beard hair, I'm not a fan of, but an eyelash is such a cute one. Like, you know, you'll blow an eyelash off someone's face and it's like a thing where you make a wish, you're like, what if they got junk dividers and stuff and they've got the eyelids?
Starting point is 00:08:59 Wait, what did you call it? Wait, what did you call it? Junkdivitis. Are you talking about conjunctivitis? That's a whole other thing that we can't get into right now, what you just pronounce conjunctivitis as. Wow. Someone texts through and they said,
Starting point is 00:09:21 my daughter collects cat claws and whiskers. She gets so excited when she finds one on the couch. That's a good way to actually, like, instead of hovering them up. Yeah, cat claws. Do cats' claws fall out that often, do they? I collected my dog's baby teeth when they fell out. Okay, Kasha. Someone else said, I collect rocks like lots and lots of rocks.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Like, I have a whole lot of rocks on every window sill in my house. That's an interesting. I mean, a lot of people collect rocks, don't they? Yeah, but we've had one. I told you we were going to have one. What is it? Someone's text 9669696. My partner's stepdad has a margarine container full of his toenail cliff.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Nah, divorce. Like years worth. Divorce. I hope that no one ever tips that bad boy over. Nasty. Play ZM's Bree and Clint on Insta, Facebook, TikTok. And live weekdays from three on ZM.
