You tapped it, so we're playing it. It's ZM's Brian Clint, the podcast. Brooks filling in. Ladies and gentlemen, Brian Clint's Fridayoke. For lots of random reasons, this is the first Fridayoke in ages. Oh. Yeah. We didn't get to do one while Caitlin was filling in.

So yeah, this is the return of Friday Oaky. Brooks doing her first ever Friday Oki, which if you've never heard, We each go into the booth with our professional audio engineer. We cover a song that we, and we both do the same song, and then you guys hear the outcome of that and decide who did the better version for Friday OK. I'm sure this is well talked about, but I actually didn't realize,

because when I went in, I was like, oh, you'll be able to touch that up with auto tune. Yeah. You don't use auto tune. We have. Oh, you have? We have in the past. I believe in our engineer's new studio,

he has yet to have the auto tune. Oh great, what a great week for me to start. The one week he loses his auto tune. Phenomenal. So just know that this is as authentic as it gets. Yeah, it's raw and real. Announced this week, there are some stars of High School Musical coming to Auckland for the Armageddon Expo.

So Brooke chose High School Musical. A certified banger. I'm surprised you hadn't done. You haven't touched High School Musical at all. No, not at all. Weird. So here's the deal. You know the deal.

My jaws locked out my eye eyebrows and so That was so confronting for so many reasons I was trying. I felt like flashbacks to like theater kid vibes. It is hard because you do have to try. That's the rule of Friday. Okay, you have to take it seriously. And sometimes hearing yourself actually try as the worst bit.

But I thought you did a good job. Ella, what did you think? I thought fantastic, Brookie. Yeah. Nailed it. You have to say that. Yeah, true. Linda doesn't.

you know, the time and place where we are and what you're doing, it could have been a lot worse. What does that mean? Also, Brooke, the bit you're forgetting is it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be better than mine. That's it. True.

Troy eventually becomes Gabriel in the chorus. Like, he goes, this is Yarn Zaki Pond. He goes. This is old Clint Roberts. Someone said, I thought there was no way that Brooke could win. And then I heard Clint. Bree's back next week, right? Checks on 9-6-96.

Is that what happened in the chorus? That's a technical term. Oh, is it? It's like a singing term. Yeah, yeah. A good one? I assume. Like break a leg, his ass fell out.

Who do you think did the better Fridayoke? I hate to say, but I'm giving it to Brooke. Wait, what do you hate to say that? It's the better of the two. I don't hate to say it because I feel bad saying it because I feel bad for Clint, but I give it to Brooke. It's okay. It's okay, Amber. I could still win.
