Starting point is 00:00:00 When I heard that you were cast as the role of Abby, I knew it was in great hands because I just adore you so much. I think you're fantastic. Oh, thank you. Episode one, you kicked it in the dick, mate. Absolutely crushed it. That's one way to say it. That's one way to put it.
Starting point is 00:00:16 You're down under now, mate. You're down under. You're back down under. Always down under. I always come here. Absolutely crushed it. What did you do to prepare for such an, you know, iconic, huge role? Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 00:00:29 I mean, yeah, it's an iconic show. And it's like it's a really big deal to be a part of something so massive. Yeah, it's so loved and has such a huge fan base that, yeah, I was a bit nervous going into it for sure. But, you know, you get around that pascal on your first day of set all those nerves yeah no no it sort of just floats away you're in his yeah yeah once you're in the aura pedro aura it's really i i really felt so welcomed on set and by by bella and and the whole cast just really made me feel like so loved. He's a person who always kicks it in the dick.
Starting point is 00:01:08 He does. Yeah, yeah. He does things to my funny places. Oh, gosh. Oh, boy. We have to know and we want the answer from you, not as of your character, but zombie apocalypse happens tomorrow. What is your go-to weapon of choice?
Starting point is 00:01:21 I think I've been thinking a lot about this and I think it would be a knife. Really? You like the hand-to-hand idea? Like how big? Like how big are we talking? Just a shiv, just like not a sword. Just like a sharpened time.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Sword's a little too much, but just like a handheld. Not a machete? No, not a machete, no. Or maybe I might, if I was hiding out here, I might need it for those big vines that you guys got in the bush. Where have you been? In the forest. Really?
Starting point is 00:01:51 Okay. Yeah. We see the knife in the first episode. It's a very intimate way to take down your enemies. Well, yeah, you just don't have to reload anything. It's always ready. It's always there. It's always there, ready to go.
Starting point is 00:02:04 I'm so interested to know from you, there's a a lot of stunts a lot of action in this show how much of that was you and did you get injured at all during filming um i did not get injured i was just you know always a little bit sore at the end of the at the end of the day um and i did a lot of stunt stuff i'd say that maybe it wouldn't be a spoiler because it's in the first it's in the trailer um but there is a moment where you know that it's like kind of a shot for shot from the game uh where a fence of infected sort of almost squishes me and i'm crawling underneath this like claustobic fence. Is that terrifying? It was actually scary. It was really scary. They're like, you know, I felt so safe.
Starting point is 00:02:50 The whole stunt team made me feel so, so safe, but because they had rigged this entire thing, this fence with all these people that are falling onto me. And I did it. I did it. I did all that myself. But, yeah, I had an amazing um stunt double named becky i really couldn't have done it without her but i did a lot of the stuff i did but
Starting point is 00:03:10 becky also did some stuff too but it's amazing what a great opportunity to get to do that kind of thing too yeah before we leave you you are renowned for your mastery of the australian accent and we're here in aust. One of us is Australian. Can you pick? Okay. Can you, uh, g'day? G'day. G'day, mate.
Starting point is 00:03:32 G'day, mate. Okay. You're from New Zealand. No. No. No, she's from here, Cobra. I'm from New Zealand. Well, it's so close.
Starting point is 00:03:41 It is so close. Do you think you have a New Zealand accent in you? Oh, I'm hearing it now. Can you cross the Dutch? No, not really. I don't think I'd be very good at the New Zealand. Go on, give it a go, bro. Number six. That's all I've got.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I can't do it either. I can take it, I may, but not as a New Zealander, I don't think. Well, then you need to come and visit. We'd love to have you. I do. It's so beautiful. I'm dying to get over there. I haven't been yet. yet congratulations on the show we're very excited to see the rest of the season thank you so much thank you appreciate it
