They talk to Patrick Schwarzenegger, Morgana O'Reilly, Natasha Rothwell and Leslie Bibb. Brie and Clint's White Lotus, live from Sydney. Patrick, we were just sitting in the hallway and we decided because you're here in Australia, you need an Australianified nickname. We've come up with a few options. Patty cake? So what is it? No, too cute. Paddo.

The first thing we need to talk to you about is the thing that everybody has probably wanted to talk to you about is the brother scene. Yeah. I don't know what the language restrictions are in this interview, but what the f***, man? When you read that, give me your first reactions. It was exactly what you just said yeah which was what uh you know i i didn't know where i i didn't see that coming i knew that there

was going to be some crazy moments yeah um i knew that there was going to be some moments that push the envelope and that would cause a stir i mean it's white lotus there's stuff that's crazy in the first two seasons but this was pushing the It's pushing the boat out, eh? Yeah. I'd say. Boundary-breaking television. Yep. It was a wild moment.

But, I mean, it works, you know? It's great marketing, and the show had its largest viewership ever on that episode. It brought everyone into that uncomfortable feeling of, would I? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Definitely not. I need to ask you about Parker Posey

and how difficult it was for you not to laugh in scenes with her because there's some iconic lines coming out of that woman. It was almost impossible to not laugh during scenes. Piper, no. Piper, no. She's such a fantastic... I've worked with her before on The Staircase, so I was familiar with her game to an extent.

This was something totally different, and just from the first day we got there and we were working together, it was just like, I knew it was going to be a tough road for me not to laugh. Playing this character and on the back of this season, have you been offered either a blender or a protein sponsorship?

And if you have, is your dad jealous? Someone actually did ask to send a blender the other day. Yeah. And protein, no, I'm surprised no one has sent a product. I'm surprised. I'm surprised too. Pete, someone needs to jump on that quick. I know.

For sure. I saw somewhere that you and your fiance watch the show together and she actually doesn't know how it ends. Is that right? Yeah, she has no idea. How do you keep that secret from her? Because we sign our lives away. Yeah, but surely there's an acknowledgement.

I will tell no one except my partner. No, she's also a huge fan of the show. So I don't want to ruin it. She's always asking me for the secrets on the show and what happens with this and this and this. And i'm just like no you want to want you you like to be able to actually watch it oh that's true love you've alluded in a few interviews to the fact that you were given by mike a reality tv person as kind of an archetype for your character but as far as i know you haven't let on who it is two options you could give us the scope uh-huh which we'd love yeah or we could probe you with some options of who we

think it could be and we'll base it off your facial kind of gestures option b i'm not telling you honestly it's not based on one person it's. Is it partly based on the situation from the Jersey Shore? No. Okay. Oh, I can't do the yes or no. No. Yeah, yeah. You don't have to.

It's sort of like this slow-moving juggernaut. The role came through and then I spent a week thinking it was a scam. So do you still don't believe it now? I think so. I'm pretty, yeah. You're at the point of 50-50. Who did you get most starstruck working with on the season of White Lotus? Oh, Parker Posey.

I think, you know, when I found out that she was in it, I had a little weep. She's amazing and now I'm very happy to say she's my friend. That's so buzzy. What a flex. So buzzy. Can we get a little bit of your impression of Parker Posey on the show? Well, my favourite one is when she goes,

did we really have to move to Taiwan? Why did we have to go to Taiwan? And I loved it when we would do scenes together That she would go So would you cop him? Oh Buddhism Buddhism

She's amazing You better be the best Buddhist in China We don't know how it ends One of our hopes is that you come back in the next season Because somebody comes back Returning characters You could be a returning character If they shot a white lotus in New Zealand,

where would they shoot it? Oh, yeah. And what other key New Zealand personalities would they recruit to be in it? Gosh, I just feel like there would just be a plethora of talent that they could have going on in there. The Briscoe's lady. Oh, come on.

I mean, Tom Sainsbury. Mike White would love in fact i messaged tom while i was out there and i was like mike white kind of weirdly reminds me of you like in there really kind of like they're lovely and funny and just like brilliant loves it when you do a bit like do it yeah you know yeah yeah so where do we shoot it though where where is new zealand's best white lotus location it's probably Queenstown isn't it? I mean you can have that wellness, you can have that opulence you can have that derangement

not Gisborne. There was a hotel I stayed at Gisborne? You know around New Year's Eve, around Rhythm and Vines time. What about that hotel we stayed at in Dunedin that gave us athletes foot? Oh that's nice yeah yeah yeah. Yeah this is a different this is like a beige lotus.

because we're cousins. Do you get all the scripts? Like when you book this gig, so do you know what happens throughout the series? Can you read them all? Yeah. And did you? Yeah, which is good because I always hate it when they deny you scripts.

It's like, let me, I'm an actor. The whole thing's a lie. Come on. But, yeah, I got all the scripts. Or just act like I don't know. I'll act like I don't know. Check it out. Oh, I'm not sure.

Amazing. I got all the scripts, yeah. So that was a really amazing moment, Ashley, because that didn't go through my representation it came straight from HBO so like that was the first time

I got an email and I remember like just that was a very profound moment and like looking up at my daughter and be like my dreams are coming true

like you're watching me you're watching my dreams come true and I'm so glad that you're here we have been pressing all of the cast because we don't know how it ends.

If you had to rate the theme music from each season, mean everyone's coming for season three they're just like I love it so much so I am a little neuro spicy so music is the way I move through the world big time what what brand of ADHD did you get? Oh, I got a few, actually. You got a few? Oh, same, same. We won't get into it here. But anyway, so music really, like,

it affects how I perceive what is coming before or after it. And so I feel like this season is so nuanced and it really does speak to sort of the darker, sort of like, tones and it's foreboding. So I won't rank them, but I will say that I'm very much team season three. Do you guys at home, like with your partners or your friends have like,

me and my partner, we have like a little dance where it kind of goes. Oh, that's the. Oh, my knee cracked. It's a kick. I know. Do we need to see a dance? Do what you want, maybe.

Cart ledge. I will say Bib and, it was you and Michelle that threw that beautiful cast party. No, we all threw it. We all threw it. Fun. Not just for the cast, but for the crew.

And Michelle's husband DJ'd, and he played the DJ version of the White Lotus song. It feels, it's like as if everyone became suddenly possessed, because I think we were like five, we were five months in, and we hadn't heard heard the song and so we did this cast, or this crew party. And the song came on and we were just like all. It was like a really, it was really fun. It was so fun. That party was, how great. Awesome to throw a party for everyone, that's so great.

Yeah, and we got, cause our crew was huge. It was like, 200, 300? It was a lot. Like three or 400. It was huge. And they moved with us, yeah. Yeah, so it was really fun. We have to wrap it up, but before we go, like everybody else, we don't know how the show ends.
