Fletchhorn and Haley's Ask Me Anything. And the big part our live show is back on the 20th of July. So we've got our Fletchworn and Haley, ask us anything. And this question that we're going to answer today has been asked a lot from the submission forms and online. And we said yesterday in the pod that we'll answer it today and we will. Can you think we're just going to be honest? I have been nothing but honest this entire time. No, no, Vaughan.

The actual on. honest. Okay. Let's have... Let's have the backs... It's even time we told Fletch. Who was literally there the entire time. Now, let's have a backstory.

Let's reset and recap. Grace from Tooronga, I was going to read this out because everybody was like, ask another question. I was like, it's a big one. The next one's a big one. Grace from Tohunga says, can you address the rumors that Vaughan and Haley slept together and that Haley getting a leg tattoo of Vaughn contributed to Haley and her husband and Grex partner splitting up.

Love you guys. And sorry, I read Reddit. More than happy to. Now, this was discussed on Reddit quite a lot last year. And fueled, fueled by people in this industry. And the radio industry. Because after radio awards last year, we all stayed at Fletcher's house. Yes.

And a big night. And the next day, I was a piece of shit on the floor. And there was apparently some wild after party at my house, which wasn't the case. Which was Fletch, me, Haley and Maddie MacLine. Yeah, with just some light. On the floor? lovely bottle of tequila. Like drinks and just some D&Ms really.

We were going through it. Like I was, my marriage had sort of freshly ended and Haley, your relationship had ended and there was all these people and everyone was talking about us but not to us. So we're like, let's just get out of here and go to Fletcher's and a comfortable small crowd of close friends and have a couple of drinks to end the night and celebrate what was a pretty successful night. You make, the funny thing about this whole thing about, because the rumor is that you two fucked on my couch.

Which would be so disrespectful when there was an entire bedroom there that you could have used without, you know, with being more discreet. But you know when the moment takes you. Yeah. The moment takes you. You can go for it. You gotta go. You gotta go. But the funniest thing about this whole thing is you were so drunk.

You combed out in the bedroom. You took yourself off to bed as I do when I've had a couple too many. Yeah. And you were like on the couch. And then we, you me and Maddie stayed up for another hour or so. Yeah, yeah. And then yeah, Maddie left. You stayed on the couch.

And yeah, it was crazy. It definitely all started, but when, like, privately, our relationships were ending at very similar times. And we were obviously keeping that private, but I think a lot of people clocked the change in our language. You know, because we'd refer to our life all the time. So we stopped referring to our exes. And people were like, oh, they haven't mentioned this for a while. They haven't mentioned this for a while. And then going through very similar situations, you know, professional.

it's hard getting up at 4 o'clock in the morning and when you're going through that stuff it's another element of hard two people going through a similar situation leaning on each other with Fletch the tri-you know the tripod yeah we got very close

yeah and and people assumed that it must be it must have been fucking and then it was a spur of the moment decision for you to get that tattoo because you really like the photo of me on the horse in front of mouth Taranaki

yeah the timing of that sucked in hindsight Maybe. In hindsight. Let's just say, we heard about it. Like, lovely Sammy, it was done a few of my tattoos. You'd had the photo on the horse.

She messaged me. And I started getting tattoos really frequently at the result of my relationship ending and me being like, you know, this is how I'm expressing myself. And so Sammy emailed me saying, we've got to do this. And I just thought, yes, like it's a great photo. She's an amazing artist. It wasn't a sad. statement of your undying love for one.

Why would you, if we'd been sleeping with each other behind our ex-partners' backs when we're still with them, who in their right fucking mind would stamp a tattoo on their leg versus somebody who you're just really good friends with? And then genuinely, like, it's like that thought never crossed my mind. That had any impact. And then I loved it. And then the next day, and I showed you.

And we were like, yeah, it was like nothing. until suddenly people on this Reddit 3 were like, that's fucked, that she's done that. And then I think it was like a bit of a, I'm a home wrecker situation or then, yeah, how must they feel about it? Which wasn't the case. No.

Yeah. Our relationships had ended by then. Mine was like, like, start of March. Mine was the end of March. So, like, we were a few months going through it. Yeah. And, yeah. I mean, my mom was funny.

She was like, that's an amazing thing. my mind is it like tattoos, timing's a little bit off. Yeah, timing's off. Christine always calling it like it is, Christine. But no, by the time the tattoo showed up, had we finger blasted each other on Fletcher's couch, which I will get a really... By the way...

By the way... Get it in there. Oh, it's not like that. I had to get rid of that couch, by the way, just in case you're both lying to me. I also wouldn't fuck on that couch because the cat had destroyed it. Oh, you were a discomfort.

The couch had seen two. Had we, as two consenting adults, it wouldn't have been a brand of problem. I think this was my bigger problem was like, and then on that Reddit thread be like, I have inside, and you're sitting there knowing in your core that this is not true. I know that. So that was a thing. And then to be. And everybody knew it wasn't true.

Yeah, and then to be completely frank without saying more than I can, when you're going through a separation after a long time, 14 years, 20 years, and this shit is happening in the middle of it, it can kind of get fucking messy. And so people coming in with their, I know this situation, and when it started actually impacting my legitimate life and breakup,

it was a bit shit for a while. And it was anonymous. It was all, no one was putting their real name to some claims online, and it was, it was fucking horrible. The accounts would disappear. It's like, who was making these accounts?

Yeah. And then it was during that... Brand new accounts, one post, Never heard from again. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they knew this. I think it got a bit much for my ex who liked to keep private. And so that's when we went.

We'll do an Instagram post. Yeah. And then did that. And then I went away for the weekend day or something like that and came back. And that was sort of, I think it starts dying down. And then your birthday was just like, my marriage is over. Yeah. Yeah.

It was a real like. It was fucking interesting, man. Some days we laugh, day. Some days we'd have a laugh. But sometimes we had a big cry. Oh, yeah. Yeah. There'd be times in the songs to play and there'd be tears.

Yeah, we'd have cries in the songs. Yeah. Yeah. It was pretty wild. But yeah, it was definitely a little bit like a fever dream, some of aspects of a Yeah. And it was bizarre to see, like, what that kind of, like, rumor and salacious gossip does to people. Oh, it grows, eh.

Totally changed my, like, if I hear someone saying, I've heard that maybe this, you're kind of like, well, have you? Have you? Have you? Yeah. True who. Because some of the shit that was said was, like, just so wrong. And said in this way of like, I've been, I have fact. Yeah.

And you're there as the person. You're like, but that's just not true. So you can literally just say anything. But engaging, getting in there. Like, what is it? You're fighting a pig and shit. You both end up covered in shit, but only one of you likes it. Yeah, yeah.

That's basically what arguing with anonymous people on the internet does. Yeah. So there you go. And I think we're always like playing it up as like, oh, no, I'd never. But like, genuinely we're just friends. But you would never, yark. No, look at his. face.

It doesn't look like he knows how to have sex. Tell me what is it about the face and tell me how to have sex properly. I just don't think you're in the right head space for it today. I just don't think today is the day. To deal with it. For you to know. Oh, damn it. God damn it.
