Starting point is 00:00:00 Please wanted Haley's Ask Me Anything. And welcome our big pod and live show back on July 20th. But until then, you've got us with the Ask Us Anythings. Yeah, a little bit of something for you. Okay, here's a question. What time do you each wake up? Does someone pick up Fletch? He always talks about not having a car.
Starting point is 00:00:21 I think about it sometimes. When it's fucking raining, I am always like, I should leave early and get Fletch. And actually, the amount of times it would rain in the year would only be like A dozen? It's weird, eh. It's a weird time of the day.
Starting point is 00:00:35 It very rarely rains at that time. That makes no sense. Wait a minute. It shouldn't be searched. It shouldn't make any sense, but it does. Is there a specific type of time of day where it rains more? Less likely to rain. And so many times...
Starting point is 00:00:50 Sometimes you wear his little wet pants. Those are a bit... Okay, yeah, those give me the air. Excuse me. His wet pants. My wet pants. It's wet pants. His weather get pants.
Starting point is 00:00:59 I think there's maybe one or two times where I've ubered where it's been torrential. I'm not even fucking with that today. Don't do that. Shoot us a message. You'll just be a row to work. An hour after you want to be here. You guys fucking turned up way too late. When I first started, I got in at 405.
Starting point is 00:01:16 No, sorry, 505. I'd turn up. I'd be one of the first. And now I'm way. Shannon's always the first here. And I will get in either anywhere between five minutes to five and five parts. five. Why?
Starting point is 00:01:30 Do you know what? Because I live further away, I just chose I need 30 more minutes sleep. And so now I'm 15 to 25 past. Or late. Yeah. No, I'm not usually past 25 past unless, yeah, recently I have to spend snoozing. I get here so early. I will get up.
Starting point is 00:01:45 No, you don't. I get up. My alarm goes off at 4.40, but most of the time I'll wake up around between 3.30 and 4.30. Yeah. My alarm goes off before yours, but I've got a bigger thing. Remember when you used to turn up 10 minutes before we were on air? and then you got told off. Not 10 minutes.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Sometimes it was 4.45. Yeah, yeah, yeah, 445 was only the latest I arrived. The amazing thing about you, Vaughn, is you get up and have a fucking half an hour shower. Yeah, dude. Sometimes I fall asleep in the shower, I'll be standing out and then I'll be like, how long have I been in here? Spend that asleep. I, before I go to bed, all my clothes are set out, my bag is packed, all I need to do. It takes me a long time to put my socks on.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Because my back's so bad. Oh, you need those little old people lever things. I'm not against it. You can't do anything at haste. It's so, that's why you'll never pick me up. I'd rather just walk to work. Vaughn picks me up sometimes if, you know, mummy's had too much to drink and she's left a car in town.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Or if I'm going somewhere afterwards. And I'm always like, where is he? Where is he? He's coming, he's coming. So what time do you wake up then? Relax. Because that was a question. What time do I wake up?
Starting point is 00:02:50 He's on his phone again. Tell him off. Four, tell me off. No, I'm not your fucking mother. I chose not to have kids. Boy, we just had a meeting before we recorded this informants on his phone. In my defence, it was boring. It was fucking boring.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Yeah, but you just... It's like nine people talking at once. I was... I felt like I could add nothing. So I was like... You know what I mean? It's less of a fuck you than being on your phone. You could just go.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Really? Is that... Well, next time I should just feel like, oh, I'll leave you guys to it. I'll leave you to it. I feel like too many chefs. Yeah. I don't want to be add to that. What time do I get up?
Starting point is 00:03:28 My alarm goes up at 420. Yep. Okay. And I generally just get up and slowly start going about what day. And it still takes you an hour to get to work from my alarm going off. Half an hour drive. It's not half an hour. It's like to be ready an outlet or in 10 minutes.
Starting point is 00:03:44 No, I like to have a shower and brush my teeth. But then you go to the gym and then you have another shower. Yeah. I'll just go to work as is. I just read that much. You're a man bitch. That's what everybody says around here. That's actually what the meeting when we were just in.
Starting point is 00:03:56 We were just in the meeting and it was called Haley Stinky Minch. Yeah. We were trying to get at the bottom. And there were nine chefs so no one said anything clear enough. Yeah. And so I've not changed my way. So the mings will continue to stink. Okay, so what is the less time?
Starting point is 00:04:09 It's less likely, more likely to rain. In the warmer months, a lot of rain is convection. So the sun heats the ground through the day. The warm air rises. Clouds build up. The showers of thunderstorms tend to peak in the mid to late afternoon early evening. Yes. So in summer, early morning, statistically, your driest window.
Starting point is 00:04:25 And in winter, it's a winter, it's a coldest window. bit of a different story. Most rain comes from frontal systems sweeping through and those don't care what time it is, a front roll in at 3m or 3pm. So the time of the day effect mostly disappears. Right. Yeah, because it's also like if you go outside sometimes
Starting point is 00:04:39 when we finish work it, it feels like it's colder than at 5am. Yeah, sometimes. Sometimes it's crispy where we are, right? Yeah. So like, because have you been in those countries where, like Thailand, Bali, I know. The tropical places. Columbia was the same. They rain every afternoon. It's like clockwork, a three o'clock
Starting point is 00:04:56 shower for 10 minutes. Just releases the steam. Yeah. And then it's back to fine. And it's beautiful. Yeah. And it gets muggy again, doesn't it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:04 Yeah. So that's why... Does that answer that question sufficiently? Did you... You said what time you woke up? I used to wake up at 4 and I wake up at 425. Yeah. But I'm set out ready to go.
Starting point is 00:05:17 It's what... I would say doing breakfast, it is one of the... And people are just being lovely asking, but it is one of the most asked questions. Yeah, totally. What time do you go to bed? What time do you go to bed? You're like too late What time to get up
Starting point is 00:05:27 Too early I go to be at quarter to eight Yeah Last night It was eight I was a little bit late That's insane to me Last night
Starting point is 00:05:34 I was all prepped for an early night And still didn't get to bed Nearly early enough What time Like just after nine Quarter past nine I was bed late Because I had sex
Starting point is 00:05:42 Like a cool person Did you have sex last night Yeah I had a sex last night I've been hearing Pretty good things About the sex Fletch
Starting point is 00:05:48 You got to try it On a school night Yuck Oh no no An afternoon You do an afternoon You do a school afternoon Yeah not an evening
Starting point is 00:05:55 So none of the people you have sex with have a fucking job? I'm going to wait for the evening for my sex. He pops down to wins. He's like he wants 50 bucks. I'm keeping people employed. Good on you, mate. Support their local economy. Yeah, he's all about that local economy.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Hi there.
