Starting point is 00:00:00 From the ZM Podcast Network. This is Fletchwin and Haley's Big Pod. Brought to you by Chemist Warehouse. The biggest brands are the lowest prices. Good morning, two minutes past six. Welcome to the show. Fletch Fawn and Haley, happy Wednesday. ZM's World Tour, 8 o'clock this morning.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Another chance to go in the drawer to get to Morocco. All thanks to Intrepid travel. Wise. I've actually been looking on the map. It's so close to Spain. Yeah, it is. Really didn't quite realize just a little skip. It's just a hop across.
Starting point is 00:00:33 Skip across. I think it's even closer than Australia as to New Zealand. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like so close. Across the Mediterranean, isn't it? Really making me reconsider my trip next year. When you've got the top six for us soon? Yeah, AI's having a real moment.
Starting point is 00:00:48 I don't know if you guys are across this. One ex AI employee basically said within the next 10 years there's a 10 to 20% chance that will kill us all. I'm just enjoying life before that happens. happens, you know? I'm sort of just like, have it. Come at. But one of the things that'll happen on the road to the AI apocalypse is it'll steal all our money.
Starting point is 00:01:09 Oh, God, really? It can take all our money. And AI cyber attacks on banks that will drain our accounts. Well, jokes on you, there's nothing to drain. Uh-huh. Jokes on you. Just take the overdraft. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:21 Take the mortgage. That'd be nice. Oh, no, you took my negative money away. If you put it all back to zero, that'll be fantastic. I've got the top six places to keep. your cash. So AI can't get his little digital fingers on it. Next time, we love our true crime here
Starting point is 00:01:35 on the show. Oh God, yeah we do. And we've found a list of the countries with the most serial killers. The Z&M Podcast Network. Is this a show real? Play ZDM's Flesh for it and Haley. Guys, great news. Go on. The annual report on serial killer statistics, 2026
Starting point is 00:01:52 has been released. I'm getting towards the end of the year, you know, word of the year, serial killer of the year. Yep. Well, it's been released. Now, so I've just, I've done a little look into this. This started in 1992 at Radford University in Virginia, and then it's become a collaboration project with Florida Gulf Coast University. They do this every year.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Yeah. You've got to have at least 10 serial killers. Oh, we just fall short. As a country to get on the list. Damn it. I know. And have we even had a serial killer? Yes, we have.
Starting point is 00:02:23 How many people did Minnie Dean kill? Minnie Dean was the Xbox baby. Baby lady Back in the old days Which is, 1800s? Or early 19? Yeah, or early 19 maybe? She's found guilty of infanticide, infanticide, infant infanticide, infant infantity.
Starting point is 00:02:42 I don't know, not a word I so often think of. Yeah, that's the spray that, you know, you get your pesticides, your herbicides and your infant sides. Oh, yeah, yeah. I don't know. To keep kids off your lawn. Yeah. And prickles and kids and dogs. I think with her, they never knew the complete number because it was.
Starting point is 00:02:58 you know, documents were terrible in the late 1800s. Hayden Poulter was a New Zealand serial killer who murdered three people in Auckland in October 1996. Is that enough? I mean, I'm not... We don't want him to have done more. No, and obviously, yeah, there's three people that died. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:17 We died in prison, thank God, so he's dead. Okay, yeah. But at different times, or was this a spree? Um, hold on, let me see, but... Spree's different to a serial. No, it was three, three murders. At different times. No, we're not condemning the murders, but again, it's not enough to get on this list.
Starting point is 00:03:32 So that's the thing. So to get on this list, your country has to have at least 10 serial killers. There is a by far winner on this list. The United States has 3,803 documented serial killers since the 1900. Oh, my God. Accounting for 62.9% of the total in the data set. So no other country has 200. documented cases.
Starting point is 00:04:00 England comes close with 188. Russia follows with 177. Wait, wait, wait. The drop from first to second is huge because England tracked the reply. Do you know number four on the list? Our bloody neighbours. Australia?
Starting point is 00:04:16 Australia is in fourth place. Do you know how many identified serial killers Australia has had since? Meaning they've killed multiple, multiple multiples. Yes, since 1900. 153. Jesus. That's a lot, eh?
Starting point is 00:04:30 Is it the outback and the long stretches of, like... It might be. The Hills Have Eyes was set in Australia. You ever seen that? Yeah, that movie. So there's actually been research, like this list of this news article that came out, had some research and spoke to some people about why serial killings have declined, thankfully, and they reckon it's a whole bunch of things.
Starting point is 00:04:51 We're better at surveillance. Like, people aren't, what do you call it? Hitchhiking. In the middle of nowhere. There's technology. We've got phones with us. Improved information sharing between all the agencies, like police. Sort of catch them after one situation if they are going to do it versus... Exactly.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Because they say homicide rates haven't declined. Like homicides are still up there. People are still murdering each other all over the place. Just not. Just one of us. Because I watched that the doco that kind of followed the investigators of the night stalker. Yeah. And it was just that it was an amazing doco.
Starting point is 00:05:27 And he moved around. He just kept moving around and it was just back in the day that it was just like, they just couldn't keep up. Yeah. They were just like, God damn it. We can't find it. Like it was just the local police kind of office doing the investigation. They didn't talk with anyone, even in California. It was nice.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Whereas now, yeah, so much more connected. And DNA and everything like that. That's good. But crazy that Australia is like four on the list. So they're followed by Japan on this list. Japan. What are you up to? Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:05:59 Way come people India India South Africa Canada Germany Italy France Mexico And then we're Yeah
Starting point is 00:06:06 That's another thing They say China and Russia On this list That a lot of the information Isn't publicly available To research They wouldn't let
Starting point is 00:06:15 Or it all get out You have these huge Populous countries But they don't have The information sharing That say America does China Where it's public info
Starting point is 00:06:23 You're not doing your numbers Can we just Can we just stay on true crime For a spot longer Yeah. Well done, New Zealand for not making the list. Good to be per capita though. Yeah, we'll probably pull away.
Starting point is 00:06:34 We're pulling away per capita. Well, like, I can only find that one guy that I mentioned before is like a listed. And he kills three people. We're good boys. We're also too small. Because like you can't even go overseas without running into a Kiwi. And also that we're, our country's too skinny. We're going to ditch your body.
Starting point is 00:06:49 You know, like in America, Australia, there's so, all these places to find the output. We've just like. We've had mass murderers, but we haven't had serial killers. Yeah. Yeah, there you go. So, speaking of, to keep it dark, I watched a documentary that was so good that I was like, it was like 9pm and Mike and I were like,
Starting point is 00:07:05 okay, let's just go. We've got, one more. Yeah. Okay. When I talk about the Mike that I'm dating, everyone knows it. I'm talking about Hosking, huh? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:15 I know. Or do I just use a mic? Does this Katie know? Oh, Katie's on board. Yes, sometimes she joins us. I've got to go to bed, Haley. I've got to get up early and bash those beneficiaries. Tell everybody not to vote for later.
Starting point is 00:07:26 I say, oh, good night, my love. No, Mike, your boyfriend, Mike. Boyfriend Mike. It was late. It was a school night, and we were like, okay, one more episode, because we're cliffhanger. Look for the episode, not bloody there. It's a episode.
Starting point is 00:07:40 You've got it. We went on Pinet. Wait, what is this show? It's called a killer story. It's a three-part HBO doco. And it was recommended on like, I follow a lot of documentary Instagramers who are like, you've got to watch this one.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Recommended on that. And it's about, an investigation into a murder. This woman was convicted of the murder of her ex-husband and his new partner, and then it kind of follows that. Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. But it also follows these two elderly people
Starting point is 00:08:09 who were just obsessed with the case. They mortgaged their house to finance the lawyers. I read about this, I read about this, yes. And so it kind of follows not only the crime, but also the people who are like, no, something's not right here, an investigator. And then the New York Times, oh, so it's called a killer story in part two is,
Starting point is 00:08:24 out tomorrow. Play ZM's Flesh, One and Haley. From the unmoderated comment section, this is the top six. I did see a guy on Instagram yesterday saying, my least favorite sort of person at the moment is white guys who worked for AI companies
Starting point is 00:08:45 for ages, developing AI, who are now like, oh man, we shouldn't have done that. You done that. He's like, we wouldn't tolerate it from anyone else. Yeah, you're so right. You're so right. But there's so many of them. Who's the actor that was in an AI movie recently?
Starting point is 00:08:59 Is it Andrew Garfield? Is he doing something? Yes, he did something. He's doing the new... What is he doing? Yeah. He's playing one of the... Creators of AI.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Anthropic or something. Yeah, something like that. And then he said after doing the movie, he doesn't use AI anymore. Yeah. Because he was like... Artificial. Yeah, that's it.
Starting point is 00:09:20 He plays Open AI CEO Sam Altman. And it's on the movie. made by, is it that Gardino guy? What's his face? Is that he making it? We've got half the information of all of this, don't we? We really pay attention.
Starting point is 00:09:33 He learnt so much about AI and its power for the role that after rapping he was like, and I will not use it anymore. Doesn't use it anymore. So the UK government has warned that criminals, cyber criminals, could be three months away from using AI to steal from bank accounts.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Don't. And that they're working closely with the British banks. to shut it down. I need that though. Shut that shit down. I was definitely wondering this recently. I was like, what happens when they can just get in?
Starting point is 00:10:05 Fake your two-factor authentication. Get into your bank account. Were we talking? Is this, can I talk about this gym class thing? Were you part of this? It was overseas, yeah. So, Carl, when you were telling us this morning right about, there was a girl who, am I allowed to talk about this? Or I don't know why I'm feeling like I can't. Yeah, no, I saw it on TikTok. I just don't know all the exact details.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Well, don't worry, we're already going to ask that AI. Details light. She said to her AI personal assistant, if a spot pops up in this book to gym class, book it as soon as it becomes available, right? Yeah, basically. But then obviously AI is like super smart or whatever and went into the back end
Starting point is 00:10:38 and just kicked someone out of their spot and put them in. So if I went to Les Mills, no, it won't, you know, who knows, but if I went and they said they want to go to the spin class and they say it's full and you say to AI, okay, let me know if something comes up. Instead, they just went into the Les Mills system.
Starting point is 00:10:52 For example. It wasn't, but it was overseas. It was like an American gym. That's crazy. It's crazy. I know. And companies are just going to have to have all their cybersecurity top notch. The money in my bank account is sort of need.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Also, we've got that deposit scheme now. So you're guaranteed your money safe up to $100,000. If the bank collapses or whatever. Yeah, right. Does that include like AI criminals as well? I don't know. And also $100,000 for most people, you'd be like, oh, mean, you know, I'm protected. But if the people have more than that, you're like, oh.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Are we going to be using AI to stop AI? And then that's kind of like when the Americans armed the people in Afghanistan against the Russians. And then when they didn't have the Russians to fight, they were like, well, we've got these guns now. I don't know. You know? It seems we never learn a lesson. It's like when we introduce possums for a fur trade. And then all of a sudden there's too many of them.
Starting point is 00:11:43 And then we'll chuck some rabbits and some ferrets in there too. No, yeah. We never learn. The top six places to keep your money to keep it safe from AI. Number six on the list, pickle jar. No pickles, obviously. Clean it. Clean it.
Starting point is 00:11:56 I don't mind if my money smells like pickles. I'm quite happy. I'd be happy to pull out of 20 and it smell like pickles. But what if you've got a bit of money? Say you've got like 20 grand. Multiple pickle jars. Okay. Yep.
Starting point is 00:12:08 You're getting it out in hundreds, tens? I'd get it out in hundreds. And then what are you putting it under the floor boards? I'd spread it out. I'd probably put it in the fridge behind actual pickle jars. Okay. And the food is good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Number five on the list of the top six places to keep your money under the mattress. A bit of a classic. It's a classic. Unless you're a billionaire, that it calls a lump. Yeah. Although if you've got one of those mattresses that's got a sag, it might kind of pop the sag up.
Starting point is 00:12:35 I don't think billionaires have saggy mattresses. No, I think if you're a billionaire, you get a new mattress every year. Yeah. Okay. Do you reckon they get one every year? You know, they don't hit the sweet spot until a few years, then.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Oh my God. How often does it? You know, it's like that thing Kim Kardashian uses a new towel every shower? Yeah. Ridiculous. What, like a new new towel? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Wait, she doesn't wash them. Oh, maybe I mean fresh towel. Okay, yeah. Every shower. Well, maybe it's new. No, new towels are shit. Yeah, they're the worst. Yeah, new towels need like some wearing in.
Starting point is 00:13:04 966, if you're a billionaire or a multi, multi-millionaire, how often do you change your mattress? Because mine's like, I don't know, decade? Like I said, my cat pissed on it, it's 10 years. I'm not ready to give it up. It's in its sweet spot. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes. It's a good mattress.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Does it still smell like camp piss? It smells more like the cleaner that I used to get rid of the cat piss, which your brain is now attached to the thought of cat piss. It's like lavender, toilet spray. It just smells like granddad's huge shits. Yes, lavender always smells like granddad's huge shirts. Number four on the list of the top six places to keep your money so AI can't get it. Ziplock bags and then a little bit of olive oil on the lip. Have you tried to open a Ziploc bag when you've got like a greasy hand?
Starting point is 00:13:41 That's genius. You just can't get a grip on the little plastic lips. Slippery, slippery grips. Yeah, slippery grips. Right. A little olive oil on there. Number three on the list of the top six places to keep your money so AI can't get it.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Bottom of the pool. Put it in one of those Vaxil things. Vaxil it, chuck it in the pool. Good luck getting down there, robot. You're not getting down there, robot. Yeah, the robots. Because I was like, human could see it, but you're talking about robots. But most pools will be run by robots, cleaned by robots.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Yeah, that's true. They'll know there's money in there. They'll be like something's on the pH. The computer AI will speak to the robot pool vacuum and it will suck your money out. It'll say suck out that money, babes. It'll give you half. Okay, well what about number two on the list of the top six places to keep your money?
Starting point is 00:14:21 Say AI can't get it. Inside the robot vacuum cleaner. They'll never expect it on the insides of one of their own. You reckon? Yeah, that's a good call. Inside the road. They don't have a camera inside. No.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Why would it be in me? They don't have nerve in the ears. Yeah. They might know they're full, but they don't know what I'm. Yeah, I'm so full of dust, so full of dust. Can't get it out. And number one on the list of the top six places to keep your money. Ice cream containers buried in the garden.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Yeah, good. because ice cream containers keep the water out. But remember in Boy, the goat ate it. The goat ate the... And do you remember Pablo Escobar had heaps of his money and it started rotting? We went mouldy, eh? Those big plastic barrels. It didn't matter because he was one of the world's richest men, so he just made more cocaine.
Starting point is 00:15:03 You could afford to whip up another fresh batch. Wipped up a bit more coke. That is the day's topsox. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fleshhorn and Haley. I don't know, I've never been anti-PDA. Yeah. Public displays of affection, but a handholding and kissing and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:15:20 And when I see it, I don't mind it. I'm not on the record to say, I'm also not anti-PVA. Hell of a glue. Oh, bloody hell. Great to make a second skin out of. A great for a fake skin in class. Yeah, definitely. There was a couple at the gym the other day having a little PDA.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Oh, at the gym, get a grip. I was like, not here, yuck. What, like, well done. You've done this many squats. He's a kiss. No, no, no, no. It's just like, not here. Yuck.
Starting point is 00:15:44 No, no, no, we're working out. I don't need to see that. We're working out so that we get hot partners. If you've already gone, sorry, don't do that. So this was a study that was published in the Journal of Personal Relationships. Now, these are like big psychological studies, and they search far and wide and this and that university. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:01 I've tried to break it down because it looked into PDA and how couples feel about PDA and whether or not, if one of you likes PDA and one of you doesn't, whether you're going to be compatible. Okay. The biggest finding they took away from this was that what happens behind closed doors matters more than what happens in public. So private touch, if you were connected behind closed doors
Starting point is 00:16:23 and the way that you are not, the way that you exist together in private when no one else is watching, has far more weight and meaning and significance than it does if your partner likes to hold your hand or show that they like you in public. But basically, couples... Holding hands is in PDA though, is it? It's the life version. Yeah, some people wouldn't like that though. Really?
Starting point is 00:16:45 Yeah. Yeah, but maybe, you know, hand on the back of the neck or hands in the pockets and that kind of stuff. Hand down the pants. Yeah, I go hands down the pants. In the mall. In the mall. Cup of the balls when you walk around the malls, that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Yeah, we've got to cut the balls in Westfield. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Someone's got to. So they looked at the, obviously, I mean, this is kind of obvious, but the couples that were the happiest out of everyone that they surveyed, it was they had to match. So if they really both enjoyed displaying affection in public, they had to both like it.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Or if they both hated that but enjoyed being physical at home. Cuddles on the couch at home. But keep it away from friends and family. They were happier. If it was mixed-matched, like, you're like, why don't you touch me or hold my hand in public and they're like, oh, I just don't like that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:17:33 That's when there was a little bit of trouble. I would say anything, right? Mismatched anything. Mismatched sex drives, mismatched. Totally. Thoughts on finances. Mismatched anything. Yeah, totally.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Thoughts on vegetables. religions, vegetables. Like they hate mushrooms and you just want a creamy mushrooms. Are you kidding me? Who hates mushrooms? I know. I know. Grow up.
Starting point is 00:17:52 I want mushrooms today. You're king. Get them. I'm actually wearing a hat. Mushroom obsessed. So this, sometimes when they do these big surveys, especially relationship stuff, they keep out the gays. Oh, okay. Not this time.
Starting point is 00:18:04 The gays are in. So not only the gays in on this survey. Yep. Straight couples, heterosexual couples. Who? Yuck. Get a life. It's 20,
Starting point is 00:18:14 less comfortable with PDA than homosexual couples. Really? So like same-sex couples were more likely to be publicly affectionate with each other than heterosexual couples. So man and man, women and women, more likely to be publicly... I mean, depends what country you're in. Yeah. I mean, you could probably get murdered for doing that.
Starting point is 00:18:37 I don't know if I was from Saudi Arabia. I want to go too hard on the Saudi Arabian PDA if you were a man or another man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I don't know. I mean, if you like it, you like it, and if you don't, you don't. And if I'm doing it, look away. Because I'm balls in the malls. I mean, she's going full on.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Oh, she's going front, front, down the front. The ZN Podcast Network. Play ZDM's Fletchhorn and Haley. Now, there is a South Korean computer animated comedy show made by Pinkfong, which I believe Pinkfong made Baby Shark. They made Baby Shark. They made Baby Shark. Pinkfong was behind Baby Shark, weren't they?
Starting point is 00:19:13 So it's, and Million Vol, these are the people who make it. Now, apparently, it's bright colour palette aligns with the visual spectrum of pets, like cats and dogs and dogs, are loving. What do you mean you've watched it? I saw this on Instagram and people are like, my pet, my dog, my cat is mesmerized. What's it called? Sea look. Sea look.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Fletch, there's a grudel like Ralph watching sea look. Yeah. I'm going to try this for Major Mary Fluffington. Cats going bizarre. And I was like, Rolly never gets into the things that like, your cat's going to love this. He's always like, no, I'd rather sit on a plastic bag. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Like your cat. And so we put it on the other night. It's so funny too. It's kind of like pingo. It's like, mhm-b-b-b-y. Yeah, so here's some, I've got, if you put up my auxiliary, I've got, this is from episode one, season one, called You Can't Stop Me from Sticking My Tongue out.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Yes, and it goes like this. And it's a big fat seal. He's going, I love this. I love this. He's working up another seal, and that seal's like, looking at him and he starts poking his tongue out. This is smart from Netflix because now dog owners
Starting point is 00:20:18 is just going to leave their TV on Netflix on repeat all day. But when I put it on, I was like, surely this isn't going to work. I don't even think you need to be a dog. Vaughden's just completely in content right now. I'll tell you what, a couple of gummies and this would go pretty hard on a Friday night.
Starting point is 00:20:34 But Ralee just like came in and then just was like, looked at the TV, sat down. It was just like watching this. And it was like he was mesmerized. And it's because of the oranges and the blues. Yeah, so apparently the, yeah, the color spectrum. And it's like no words. It's just like sounds.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Because that's what my dogs will hear things and like, look. Yeah. Like, you know, something's on the speakers. They'll look. And be like, what's that noise? But yeah, they never watch screens. So I'll test this. My cat will go crazy if there's birds or balls on the screen.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Like if there's sports, he'll get up and try and attack the ball. Well, really? Yeah. It's so advanced. Apparently visually so pleasing. And I like can't believe this work. But Rolly was like news cards. So cats.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Don't's works. Okay, well, what's it called? Sea Look. C-L-O-O-K. The Fletchborn and Haley, Big Pod. Now, yesterday it was the Emmys. Technically Monday in America, Tuesday, we get it. Now we're talking about it on Wednesday. So this was the 78th Emmys,
Starting point is 00:21:34 and it was hosted by an interesting choice. Mariska Hargate, who is the longest-running character on a prime time American TV show. SvU. Okay. Sorry, Law and Order SVU. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Now. Which is in what? Season 5,000? I've never got into that show. She's played the character since 1999. Yeah. You haven't got into a police procedure. I know, just that one doesn't...
Starting point is 00:21:59 Wait, wait. Wait, what? Wait, wait. You love SVU PCR. No, I've never watched any of those. Any of those. In all seriousness, guess what season Lauren Order SVUs up to?
Starting point is 00:22:09 Oh, probably up to like 30? Oh, okay. Well, don't come in. Well, she's been, she's played the character since 1999, so it would be about 30. Yeah, it's 28. That's crazy. So she's been in all seasons.
Starting point is 00:22:21 She must be making, bang! Is this a show Taylor Swift loves? So there was a sketch in the Emmys yesterday and she did like a little cameo SVU thing that apparently Swift's was like riddled with Easter eggs. Everyone's like, what does she mean? So yes, Taylor Swift loves this show, but she was the host and I think she did a really good job.
Starting point is 00:22:38 She made lots of good jokes for a dramatic actress, but there are some comments that you know, comedy just sort of is not everyone's forte. Yeah. It's usually they'll get a classically funny person. This was the opening song that was... I love TV screen. A little bit pan.
Starting point is 00:22:54 I know they're not rehearses, so don't. Yeah, so it's sort of, you know, like someone... That was weird. I didn't like... Yeah, I love rock and roll tag on the Joan Jets classic. But, you know, it's hard. Okay, the winners. So, okay, let's talk...
Starting point is 00:23:11 Well, let's... I'll end with the list of TV shows you must watch. But we need to talk about a couple. of great moments. Okay. Zendaya and Custom Prada. I mean, you guys, right, custom Prada.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Oh, Vaughan, you love custom Prada. You know what I mean? Custom Prada. She's a custom Prada gown. Toyota Land Cruze Prada. That's right. And on the red carpet, someone said to her over this way,
Starting point is 00:23:33 Mrs. Holland, and she was like, and gave this little smirk. To be fair, what is her last name? Yeah. Zendaya Holland? Smith. Just Zendaya.
Starting point is 00:23:43 And then when her and lots of Spider-Ret, Man references towards their area and when they were clapping they've both got their big wedding rings on. Okay, so that's a thing to happen. Worststress Shane Lynn Woodley. Like if, that's all I have to say, look it up. Shane Lynn Woodley is wearing, it's like an op shop sneezed on her. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Someone said it's what Jonathan Van Ness would have worn to meet someone in RuPaul in like 2010. Yeah, it's a really weird outfit. Yeah, Michael J. Fox was on it and it was really beautiful. Oh, that was so cool. It was absolutely amazing. Yep. Some great, some really great moments and some great sketches.
Starting point is 00:24:14 But here are the shows that you might. that you must watch. And Fletch, this is validating for you because you've seen most of them. Best drama The Pit. Yes, and you know, I love the pit. It's a back-to-back win and then Noah Wiley won for lead actor.
Starting point is 00:24:26 It's incredible because I think because they, it's not like you normal medical procedural where it'll just be an episode. It's an hour of every shift. And you just see what these nurses and doctors go through. It's horrific. I just think, oh, hospital dramas are so overdone that I sort of feel like I'm like,
Starting point is 00:24:43 oh, but then this one's really good. It's great. It hooks you in. Best comedy is Widows Bay, which I just started. Love it. I've watched it. I watched it over the... It's wild.
Starting point is 00:24:51 So Woody Harrelson, did he present the award? Because if you've seen this video of Woody Harrelson, just like standing amongst the people from Whittos Bay, but he's not in Wittos Bay. He's just kind of there. It's like, what are you doing, Woody? It's like a dark horror comedy. So it's their first season of Widdows Bay,
Starting point is 00:25:07 the most decorated comedy in Emmy history, 14 wins. Yeah. This is why Apple won the most awards. Apple TV. England, trying to boost tourism on his island must navigate strange events suggesting it might be cursed. So funny. It's really great.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Best Limited Series, DTF St. Louis. I haven't seen it. It's on my list. David Harbor, Jason Baker. Yeah, seven wins overall. Lead actress in a drama, reish seahorn for Pluribus, which I haven't finished. Oh my God, that season, that's incredible.
Starting point is 00:25:34 And I hurry up and make the next season. Yeah. It's incredible. I can't hurry, Vince Gilligan. Now, lead actress in a comedy, Gene Smart, making her fifth win for the same role, which is a record. For hacks.
Starting point is 00:25:45 For hacks. Which is a great show. And it wrapped up kind of nicely. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The end of the last season. So she's tied now with Julia Louis Dreyfus for most Emmys by a single performer. Oh, wow. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Veep. Veep. So that's amazing. Lead actress in a limited movie, Sally Field, for remarkably bright creatures. That's incredible. And the big record breaker, Matthew Reese, became the first person ever to win two lead acting Emmys in one night. Comedy actor in Widows Bay and Limited Series Actor,
Starting point is 00:26:14 for The Beast in May. He's an incredible actor. He's amazing, and he took some time off. Yeah, in Widows Bay, he's just incredible. He's so funny. So he won two. Isn't that amazing? Won two lead acting Emmys in one night
Starting point is 00:26:26 for limited series and comedy actor. So, look, there's all the shows. Just even the list of shows and categories, it's just good to go through, even the people that missed out and didn't win, just to pick, like, the shows that you should watch. They're all brilliant. Yeah, they're so incredible.
Starting point is 00:26:42 And just like work your way through them. And who's just good. She's a chick from Hacks who always goes with her comedy partner and always dresses up funny. They went as Kylie and her. Oh, Hannah Mbinder. Is that her co-star? Yeah, she went as
Starting point is 00:26:56 the Emmy statue. Spray painted her body gold and she's just holding this globe like this. It's very funny. Actually, a really good Emmys all around despite that opening song falling a little bit flat. The Fletchborn and Haley, Big Pod. Flat Fun is so silly, silly, silly,
Starting point is 00:27:19 Well, silly little poll today is do you know who you're voting for in the general election? Do you know what day it is? November. November? Neme. Nember. It is. Oh, that didn't.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Google it. Did I Google it? That's me. What did you Google? 7th of November. Okay, how many days? There we go. That was actually the top one because I knew 52 days.
Starting point is 00:27:54 52 days until the general election. That's not that. long in the scheme of things, isn't it? It's going to fly by. God, then it'll be bloody Christmas. You've got to vote. That's always the thing. I don't care who you vote for. Just vote. Because then otherwise shut up. Yeah. You know the worst person
Starting point is 00:28:09 you know? They're probably voting. Yeah. I don't think whatever side of the political spectrum you're on, we don't have a lot of charismatic leaders at the moment, do we? Nah, not a lot. And we start with some really dard fish, wet fish.
Starting point is 00:28:23 Yeah, yeah. Some sloppy fish. I mean, I didn't vote for John Key, but He made us laugh. You know, he was a bit of a mess. He had a hot dog down his gob and he couldn't put... He minced around. He did the three-way handshake. And that leave his other world leaders liked him.
Starting point is 00:28:39 And he was always a good chant. Just send a very charismatic, if you don't like her, whatever. But, you know, like she had a bit of global appeal. I mean, Chloe, she's the Riz Queen. Lovely. Same and more. Two ticks. You've got her number now, don't you?
Starting point is 00:28:53 I do. Do you know who you're voting for? Don't? Get started on that. Do you know who you're voting for in this general election? The options were yes, no, and I don't plan on voting. Yeah. 45% of people know who they're voting for.
Starting point is 00:29:05 49% of people not sure. That's a big swing. Wow, that's a lot of swing voters. Yeah, considering all these polls out there are like pretty even as well. Yes. And 6% of people said I don't plan on voting. And that's a lot when you break down the actual numbers of people that voted in our poll. So that is 239 people that voted don't plan on voting.
Starting point is 00:29:26 voting. Okay. And then a few thousand... Some countries make it compulsory. Yeah, and a tree. Yeah, they do. Yeah. But they never really enforce not.
Starting point is 00:29:34 Nah. They just like, do it or you're in trouble and you never get in trouble. What does the people say? The people say as follows. Lottie said, I live in the UK and found you guys on social media years ago. I can't contribute, but thank you for asking. Oh, hello. Well, you can contribute in your own election, but that's a mess over there.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Well, it's a mess everywhere. It's a mess. We're in a pickle. Sharon said, I thought I was sure, but now I'm not sure anymore. Sye back to the drawing board. It just seems as well, like when you look around the world, just swings from left to right or right to left. And then they go back and people just aren't happy
Starting point is 00:30:12 because no one's ever happy and nothing's ever getting fixed or made better. We hate that. We'll try the other way. Yeah, and then that doesn't work. I have seen every politician around claiming the Auckland City Rail Link. Was their idea? Yeah, everybody's claiming that. No, we did that.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Because it looks pretty and it's nice and it's working. It's almost like some infrastructure for the future would be a great idea. It's crazy, eh? How will we pay for it? Yeah, how are we to know that we would need that? I won't be voting. Politics is boring, so I feel like I don't follow it enough to make an educated vote, said Alana. So I won't bother.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Plus, they all lie and suck, so it doesn't really matter. Is that? So there's a website every year? Yeah. What is it? And you do the quiz? Website. www.com.
Starting point is 00:30:52 www. www. Website, wwwdubdub-dub.com. Now, you do it and without knowing anything about the parties, you go in and ask you a series of really easy questions. How do you feel about this? And it puts you on the thing? I feel like a lot of the news organizations set these up.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Yeah, at the election time, yeah. What party should I vote for? Blossom up. Oh no, that's dot co.com. UK. Which party dot nz? A 2026 election quiz, which party matches what you stand for? Five minute free quiz covering 23 policy questions. Yeah, but how do you know that National didn't set that up? Well, you don't.
Starting point is 00:31:23 That's what I'd do if I'd do if I was. a political party. Yeah, and it's like, do you want to help people? Yeah, every one of them. It's like, did you ever do that career's quiz at school? It was just basically funded by the military. The military. And it was always like, you should go in the Navy.
Starting point is 00:31:36 You should go on the Army. Absolutely not. What are you into, entertaining people, making people laugh, being creative writing? You know what? Yeah, the Air Force band. You're in the Air Force. You can do the Air Force stand-up comedy. Yeah, could, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Adam replied saying, just that you know, that I live in Australia. be participating in this poll. Don't encourage this warn. No, I like to hear from people when they don't feel they can participate. Honestly, at this point, it feels like we are the circus and all the politicians of the clowns of the big open mouths that you put the ping pong ball in and being told to vote for your favourite one.
Starting point is 00:32:08 It's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. Yeah, fair. Wow. You've got to get a lot of lemons to make a lot of lemon cheesecake, you know. You've got to break a lot of eggs to cheesecake. And make a cheesecake. Yeah. I'm making a lemon cheesecake in this example.
Starting point is 00:32:22 That sounds like a good cheesecake. Yeah, nice, because it cuts through the same. sweetness. Yeah, it does. A little bit of tartness. Ash said all those that aren't planning on voting, better not be planning on having an opinion for anything for the next three years. That's the contract. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:34 You've got to lump it, suck it up and shut up. I vote for whom my husband decides will be better for our mortgages, business and future finances. Excuse me, Bronwyn. Did this message come from the 1800s? Wow. I put zero thought into it at all. Better living everyone.
Starting point is 00:32:49 That's not what Kate Shepard wanted. No. Kate Shepard didn't stand on a... A soapbox and paint some signs So you could say, I'll just do what way husband tells me to do, Bronwyn. Do the little quiz. Do the little quiz.
Starting point is 00:33:02 I'm a little bit disappointed. You could even go on AI and literally say Breakdown. No, because AI will tell you to vote for AI. Oh, you reckon? AI will tell you to vote for Kate Shepard. Did you not go on say like breakdown of the top lines Sort of what the parties in New Zealand stand for?
Starting point is 00:33:14 You might be able to, but it'll just scour a Reddit and then you'll be in a horrible place. Yeah, no AI. Abby said, I'm a nurse and no government has ever worked wonders for me and my colleagues. God, I mean, if you've been in a hospital recently, you realize how incredible our nurses and medical staff are. You're just like, you were just doing your best.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Amy said, exercising your right to vote on a silly little poll, but not the general election is insane to me. Yes. Well, this one's way more fun, isn't it? Yeah, it is. So, yeah, go to which party, NZ, take the quiz. I'm about to do it right now. Yep.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Yeah, because I've done it once before and being like, I'm a greenie. the greenie and it was top. I did it last time and it was top. Yeah. Silo L'Pol, do you know who you're voting for in general election? 49% of you? Unsure as yet.
Starting point is 00:34:04 The Zanamcast Network. This is great. Some of was sharing on TikTok. 61 people took part in the first CRL city rail link. Correct. Well done. You're getting it. You're getting there.
Starting point is 00:34:18 The new train system that's opened up in Auckland over the weekend. The first CRL pub crawl. 61 people took place. Amazing. When was it? It only opened. On Sunday. Did they do it on Sunday?
Starting point is 00:34:34 They had a Sunday session. It's only Wednesday. Oh, this was. Two days ago they uploaded it. So yeah, it would have been... It would have been Sunday and uploaded on Monday. Okay. So, yeah, they got on the train.
Starting point is 00:34:44 They started in Britta Mar and each stop you get out and you find the nearest pub. You have a beer. You get back on the train. And by the time, it's time to go home. Yep. Get back on the train and hit back into town. Wait, so you start at the Wait-a-Mata station. Yep.
Starting point is 00:34:58 And you go to the Brit, we were at the Brit, weren't we the other weekend? Okay, so you started the Brit. Yep. I mean, it doesn't matter what pump you choose. Because I'm primarily if we're doing a pump-call. I'm just doing Guinness at each store. You could do whatever. You could just, like, you choose whatever line you're going to go.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Like, I just put one into AI, and I said, we're going to start at the Waitamatta Station, and we want to go in this direction, and it just gives you like a rundown of nearby pubs. Okay. So you could go, um, Waitamatta, you could, go to the Brit pub, which we love, and then head up a little bit to the Te'Y
Starting point is 00:35:30 Horatiu station and go to Vulcan Lane, go to the forge there, then get out at Karanghape Road, you could go to Gay Bar. Sorry, but if you're going from Britta Marr to Volcan Lane, you might as well walk. Nah, no, no. No, it's the point is the tree.
Starting point is 00:35:44 It's further to walk from that station. It's further to walk down from the station. You'd be better to go up to like the glass goose or something. Oh, we love a glass goose. Yeah, something like that. Right out there's a Zils. A couple of English pumps there. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Get a guinea on. Then you could maybe go up to Kalanga Hippa Road and do some karaoke at Eagle Bar. Excuse me, we forgot Father Ted's. You know, the show favorite. We love a Father's Ted. We love that it is dark. Well, should we glass goose for a class, class goose? And then toss all over to Father's Den for a naughty little guinea back on.
Starting point is 00:36:13 And then K Road, I mean. To Kay Road for some karaoke, maybe a gay bar. Yep. And then you could carry on to Mount Eden. Then we could go to the horse and trap. Yep. Another guinea. Well, you could get off at Kingsland.
Starting point is 00:36:24 The good homes just up the road from there That's got goodness. I'm not peddling my Guinness agenda here but I'm very much peddling my Guinness agenda. I love that it took one day of this being open for Kiwis to make it into a booze thing. But you could do anything, you could map this out. Like I was just, I've been
Starting point is 00:36:39 seeing a lot of people instead of pub crawls doing op shop crawls. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So getting the girls together and being like, right, bring a tote and your wallet. And you could get on the train and be like, cool, we're going to start at the bottom. We'll go to this Salvation Army, catch the train up to this one, go to this bloody St. John's. op shop here and then catch the train back.
Starting point is 00:36:56 It is. People are just so excited and people even just aren't from out of town. Wait, look at these people. Ian and Christine, have absolutely booked in. They said you've got to show us how this works. Yeah, I know. I feel like it's just going to be a thing. People are going to be just riding the stations and checking them out. Look at the little hollering each time the train comes.
Starting point is 00:37:12 The more bears they have, and they're behind the yellow line. Especially if you had a couple of bruskees, back you go. Everyone's filming. It is literally one of the most joyful things to happen in the country for a long time. People are so excited. Oh my god, there's an interactive pub crawl map. Who made it? It's only Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:37:30 It opened on Sunday. It's perfect. Guys! The Z&M Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fleshhorn and Haley. The heavily redacted FVH non-cancellation safe space chat. That's the full name of our WhatsApp group with the three of us. It used to disappear after 24 hours.
Starting point is 00:37:47 But now it doesn't need to. Used to disappear. So evidence couldn't be used against us in a court of law. Literally. Genuinely. Somebody saw that yesterday and was like, why is that called that? And I was like, it's a long story
Starting point is 00:38:02 that you have not earned. No, no. And actually the information is heavily redacted. It's heavily redacted. And it's in a safe space. So it's non-cancellation. Things are said in there that could not be said in public.
Starting point is 00:38:12 Imagine if all of it went online. I've got a few. This is what everybody says about their group chats. Totally. The things you say to your friends, to your friends, it's a safe space. We know this. I've got that.
Starting point is 00:38:25 I've been asked why my lad's chat is called the slippery little Fs. Yeah, yeah, right. It's because I got said once and we all really liked it. And so that's the group chat name. Yeah, I've got another one, Diamond Dogs redacted. Yeah. Got why. Our work chat is Shannon's Guardians.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Shannon's Guardians is because we have to look after her and make sure she's not going to get scammed because she's been sent a text about a toll road she's never been on. I like this one, the no-Haley-sprow chat. Yeah, that's really good. That's really good. No, we have a chat when someone's away for work. Oh yeah, yours is nine fletch.
Starting point is 00:38:57 And like there was one the other day, no car one when she was away, just because you don't want to be away and everyone's punishing you with chat. The gaggle is G2.0 because we're to remove some people. And rather than remove them, we just made a new group. We just made a new group. It's called G2.0 so that you know your messaging in the right one. Yes. So we want to know what's your group chat called?
Starting point is 00:39:18 Yes, because... You know, and no context. Either way, I don't want context. Oh, I might. if it's interesting. I mean, you don't have to provide it, but I would be interested. If you don't want to provide context, there's absolutely no context required.
Starting point is 00:39:29 Okay, so text in, 966, 0800,000m, if you're willing to own up to your group chat name. Yeah. We're not here to judge. Either way, we just want to know what your group chat is called this morning. They always got, people are so creative.
Starting point is 00:39:44 What? Already getting some? KMF. Esther said, KMF, it stands for Kill My Frog. No context. Oh, is it from, eat that frog. Do you remember that? No, this is kill my frog.
Starting point is 00:39:55 Let's eat that frog. There was a self-help book. Oh. That was called Eat That Frog. And you got to like... Why are you saying it in that voice? Because that was the woman. I think my mum or dad used to listen to it on a cassette.
Starting point is 00:40:05 It was called Eat That Frog. And it was like doing the hard things. You've got to eat that frog. But why would you eat a frog? I didn't write the book. I didn't listen to it. Frogs are very... What a stupid analogy?
Starting point is 00:40:17 Eat the frog. Eat the frog. Eat that frog. Eat that frog. Eat that frog. Eat that frog. Eat that frog. 21 great ways to stop procrastinating and get more done and less.
Starting point is 00:40:23 time. It's a book. Okay, we're so an end up and we can definitely start now. Sometimes we won't start in the first break reading out examples because we're worried it might be a bit light on the ground but given the text sheners. Jesus Christ. Yes. It has just been flooded.
Starting point is 00:40:36 The fanny flappers. Boys plucking feathers. It's an all girls crew. The cease and desist chat. Love? The fart sniffer gang. Our group chat is called successful degenerates.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Love? The pussy club. The pussy club. Wait, can I just say so. far, all of these chats sound like if they were legged, they'd be problematic. I don't know if Morgan's just text in all rage empowered pucewares, that's us.
Starting point is 00:41:01 That's you, yeah. That's the sex dot life group chat. Yeah, yeah. Pilates Pussy Patrol. They take their cats, they take their cats are, palates. Cucks are asses are great. Cucks are ass. Brilliant. Fush. Stans for fall on outstretched hand. Sounds like someone broke a wrist. Fall on outstretched hand.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God, this is brilliant. The bumble bitches. Sniffonies? Oh. Oh. No. Not sniffonies.
Starting point is 00:41:27 No. We've known a sniffing. Is that a giggle? Is that a giggle soap chat? It could be. Robin, what's the group chat called? Hi. I just wanted to say something before I said.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Like, tell you what my group chat is called. Okay. What do you want to say? I'm a first-time caller. Yay! Oh, yay! I did have my finger on the button there to cut you off immediately if you were going to say something inappropriate. This is a political tyrant.
Starting point is 00:41:53 or something. Welcome to the show, Robin. What's your group chat called? I actually have two group chats that I texted in. Okay. I'm not sure which one I got called up. Give us both. Give us both.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Let us. Come on. Well, we can handle it. There's one that the name has since been changed now to something, well, more appropriate. Okay. But I don't know. It was called the Goofy Goonoo's. The Goofy Goonis.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Okay. Goofy Goonoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Gooners. Not Goofy Goobers as in Spongewell, goofy gooners. Juners, yes. Okay, that is inappropriate, Robin. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:31 I probably can't explain what that means on radio for anyone. No, that's right. Because it's one thing, Google that on their own time. It's one thing to have a group tap, but it's when it pops up on your phone when it's sitting on a table, that gets you in trouble. We love that. And what's the other one?
Starting point is 00:42:48 The other one is Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life. Yeah, good trick is love. probably one of the most wholesome ones we've had in Robin, to be honest. Which makes up for the gooning one. Yeah, that's okay. Robin, thank you. Let's go to Matt. Matt, what's the group chat called?
Starting point is 00:43:04 Good morning, guys. The group chat, we've got a couple with forest freaks is the first one. Okay, do you do things in the forest? You don't have to freak your forest. Do you get freaky things in the forest? I'll leave that up to your imagination. Okay, good boy, good boy. Yeah, that's yes.
Starting point is 00:43:18 And the other one is smells like fruit salad. Smells like fruit salad. What's the origins of that, Matt? Careful. So that one there is our family group tap with us and our parents as well. Okay. And it all originated from we were sitting in the lounge. And my sister-in-law had these little fizz-sticks of the sort of energy boost with different flavors.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Everybody had a different flavor. And when we were in the lounge, my mother-in-law spoke. up and it was like, oh, it smells like fruit. Shellerton here. And the name's just stuck. He's got a lot of grief about it and it was hilarious at the time. But yeah, it's just stuck around. And it's been there for
Starting point is 00:44:04 probably a couple of years now. Love it. Love it. Man, thank you. Okay, Matt, thank you. Just before I go, can I, um, we've got three young Somerunichu here that listen to you guys all the time. Oh, hello. Oh, sorry. Sorry, sorry. Sorry, sorry. Sorry, sorry. It's right. It can't be any worse than
Starting point is 00:44:23 their mum and myself. Okay, that's right then. Like that. Have a good day. Thank you guys. That could have been so much worse. Could have been worse. Live radio, you just never know, do you?
Starting point is 00:44:33 Okay, some messages. The Octopus Fight Club. These are people's group chat names. No context required. I want context around the Nari-Mu front-bum horse riders. Front-Bum horse riders. I reckon the front-bum-horse runs. They're female.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Front-bums. And they'll ride horses. Yeah. There might be something more to it. No, that's probably it. The Nardi Miss 5 on horse riders. Big booby bitches, the triple bees. Our sibling group was called 11 rats and a Persian cat.
Starting point is 00:45:06 I don't know why. The group chat is Friday Realist of Realness, straight up. O.G. feels for reels. That's so good. The gang bang. Oh, why'd you read that? The Irish. The Irish.
Starting point is 00:45:19 The Irish. They don't know what it means. The Irishman's dilemma. Um, meagabobity bitches? Meep Speed Round? What is the group chat name? Oh, Gastro Gagne. Was that renamed after a barley holiday?
Starting point is 00:45:35 Not quite. There's like, so we've got four couples. We've got ten kids between us. We had a big barbecue and everyone took it. Oh, my God. Who was in charge of chicken cababs? Yeah, I was going to say, who was in charge of that? Got to cook those chicken kebabs.

Starting point is 00:46:11 That's the one. Why not? Wait, are you still with the husbands? Yeah, they've got to pay the bill. Oh, yeah. You got to come around for something. Half-percerning relationship. I love that.

Seven. Why are seven of you shaking the same girl? Yeah, come on now. Unless you met, because afterwards she contacts you all.
Starting point is 00:46:55 in a group chat. And then makes you admin, you bird her out. She probably got a rave review from the first one. You know, the first one, when he realized he had chlamydia, should have rung her and told her that she's going to come in. And then she would have got rid of in the other six of you. But they might not have known. Until they all knew.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Yeah. It's like, are you guys stinging? Sting when it wheeze. Insane rambling as of the wreckheads is one of ours. Group chat name. It's not my fault. I have a heavy flow in a white set vagina. Oh, my God, I love that.

Starting point is 00:47:34 One of our group chat names. There's a mums and bubs. None of us have kids, and we have got by names like Daddy and Mummy. Okay, that sounds like a kink, to be honest. The Wakanai nudists group chat. The mad caters, because we love cats. Rich MF is. We're not.
Starting point is 00:47:51 We've got to just, we buy joint lotot tickets. We've never won anything. 10 all-day fannies for Africa 10 all-day fannies for Africa. The Skin Flute Augustra? Excuse you. A clot of booze and books. That's nice.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Yeah, that's good. Thick and twisted. Another one's called boots and thighs. Lesbians and Laura. Six of us are lesbians and there's Laura. Stressy, messy and depressy. We just can't keep up with all of these. Oh my God, I'm not even...
Starting point is 00:48:22 Without a word of a lie, I wouldn't have been not even one third of the way through the text machine. I'm reading from the top, you're reading from the bottom. We're not even going to kiss in the middle. Bermas on the gram, Gay's gone wild. The Nutsu Kuiah, which means gas bag and grannies.
Starting point is 00:48:38 We're all under 40. That's nice. That's nice. BBC, the sozzled cartel, milk ladies. Because we're all breastfeeding. The Daily Family Crisis. Drunken ramblings of the tall and afraid. The funer butt plug campers. Oh.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Oh, Haley. We don't do that while we're camping. Oh, sorry. Don't we? No, there's that just the home. What if it's got hot showers? The ZDN Podcast Network. I'm doing a little gift, gift, I've got some gift planning. I can't say much.
Starting point is 00:49:07 What do you mean? I've got a secret gift exchange coming up soon. Okay. What? I'm doing gifts to, I can't say much, though. Okay. It's for the boyfriend, but he can't know that I'm doing these things. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Right. Some of his wordmates are listening to the radio station. Yeah. Okay. I mean, he doesn't listen. He doesn't listen. No. No.
Starting point is 00:49:28 Amy doesn't listen either. Not for him. Your girlfriend doesn't listen. Really? Well, she gets too much of this at home. Wham, blah, blah, blah. You don't stop. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:49:35 Yeah, I feel that as well. Yeah. Can't get a break. She doesn't need to hear it all morning as well. Because then like Mike will come on tour and see the show. And I'm like, did you see my social media? Yeah. No, he doesn't listen.
Starting point is 00:49:48 No, he doesn't listen. So I was like we're celebrating something soon. And I've got gifts. And yesterday... Plural. Gifts. Yeah, yeah, I'm doing it. I'm going all out.
Starting point is 00:50:00 Wow. And yesterday, I reckon this is my domestic superpower. You know, everyone's got one thing like, man I fold it. You're a dishwasher. What's mine? I'm a dishwasher architect. You are, actually. Yours is...
Starting point is 00:50:13 Oh, God, it's awkward for me. Left too much of a gap. Yeah, what is mine? Well, because I've got a robot. Now, it can't be the vacuuming. I've got a robot. It's definitely not cat rearing because he was a little shit. You've got a robot.
Starting point is 00:50:27 A real brat on your hands. He's well trained now. Because I told you the pheromone thing. All he ended with pheromones. Your domestic superpowers, yours is definitely dishwasher. And yard. Thank you. Yours is...
Starting point is 00:50:41 God, it's just like... Can I just give... While we try to think of Fletcher's domestic superpower, you know weed eaters? Whipers? Take the guard off. What? I don't think you should be taking a safety guard off.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Take the safety guard off. I need to whip snip today. Take the guard off. No, no, I need a guard on. If I lose a leg, if I lose a leg. No, no, no, you're not going to lose a leg. You get a little bit longer on the whip because it's got one of those things that stops the whip getting too long and then you can get it up and do those nice lines that you see on the internet. No.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Take the guard off. Take the guard off. Fletch, your domestic superpower is fresh shakutery boards. I know a great chakutery boards. It's good because he does a little sweet little bit and there's always like liquorish all sorts on it and then cheese is. There's lollies and cheeses and there. Yeah, and you're like, you look at it and you're like, what? But then you're like, oh my God, I do want to look.
Starting point is 00:51:30 I do you. Exactly. Yeah, thank you. Mine's gift wrapping. This is what you discovered. This is what I discovered yesterday. I didn't have gift wrap. And I was like, not a problem.
Starting point is 00:51:42 What are you going to wrap it in? So I went through these drawers and I found old bits of kind of like tissue and bags and things. I was like, I can make this work. And so I was sort of putting it together. And then I was like, right, I've got all the gears, I've got some nice tissue. You know, you buy a nice gift or something or you get it. a package and it's got nice thing. I keep all that.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Of course I don't. Keep all that. Oh, don't throw that out. I'll keep that. Just peel the shale tape off. So I've got that. And then I sit down and here's my domestic downfall. No matter where I've put cellar tape, there's never cellar tape. Every time you've got to wrap something, there's a new roll of salter tape.
Starting point is 00:52:13 You need kids because it's always just in their room. Oh, really? When in a room, I just walk to August's room and I open the door and I'm like, there's like three rolls of a cellar tape. Yeah, no, no. What is she doing in here? The only tape I have is painters. You know for like doing trims and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:52:28 You can't do presents. Yeah, no, you can't. So then, so that's my domestic downfall is putting away cellar tape and finding it. But then the domestic superpower comes back in. I don't need cellar tape. I'm Googling the Japanese tuck fold thingy. What? I wrap gifts, no tape.
Starting point is 00:52:45 The Japanese don't use cellar tape. There's ways you can wrap things. Like if there's a box, you can like fold like this and then like tuck. And there's like tucking and they put a ribbon around. That wouldn't have worked. for me at Christmas because I always like to peek under the tree. So you would have just lifted a flap. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I would have just
Starting point is 00:53:01 got that flap out. Yeah, it's a little bit of life. First and only time. First and the only time, this guy's getting his fingers in the foot. You get in his first finger. What are you doing? Sorry. Put it in there? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's so good. Do you have to put it? Do you wrap it and then put it flap down?
Starting point is 00:53:18 To keep the weight on the... It's all tucked. And then it's sort of all going to the spot. So you do that. And then if you want a security, you could put a ribbon around it. I found some old, like, ribbon and yarn. Because I put that tape gun last Christmas. That was a gauge. That's nice. That's nice.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Pull the trigger in it. Pull the trigger halfway and it feeds tape, starts feeding tape out and you give it full and it cuts the tape. Oh, that's pretty cool. Yeah, yeah. And you can see, you can just do it over. You hold it where you want it and then you go, and it puts it on. What are he working in a warehouse?
Starting point is 00:53:45 Yeah. It's like a million. How many gifts? I mean, but you've got kids, I guess. Christmas gets a bit gifty. Oh, anyway, if you ever need your gifts done, you come to me. I don't need wrapping paper. I don't need tape.
Starting point is 00:53:56 I don't need any of your traditional things. You wouldn't be able to work at one of those Westfield present wrapping things because you'd take like eight hours per thing. You know, I'd say, I'm doing it the Japanese way. It'll be worth the weight. I'm still trying to really think of something for Fletch to be like... He's got no...
Starting point is 00:54:10 The Charcutory Board was a week. Then that's more kitchen hosting. We didn't do food because yours would be on barbecue. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't need something I'm good at guys. Wiping the bench? Yeah, great at wiping a bench this guy. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Greater wiping the bench. No one wipes a bench like. our Fletch. Always hits it with a spray and wipe. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fletch Fawn and Haley. You know the game Shoot Shag Mary.
Starting point is 00:54:35 Yep. Has another name, but shoot Shagmary is the one we can say on radio. You list three people. You've got to shoot one, Shag one and Mary one. Famous for getting celebrities and politicians
Starting point is 00:54:47 in trouble forever. For a myriad of reasons. Objectification being one of them. So here is the new version that's doing the rounds online that people are absolutely loving. Two hours per activity. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:01 You've got to, it's called hike hospital hot tub. So I'll list three people. You're going to go a two hour hike with one of them. Two hours in a waiting room hospital with one of them. Okay. And two hours in a hot tub with one of them. Okay, so hot tub, probably the more pervy one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Pervy one. Okay, let's go. Bree, Clint, Georgia. No. Haley, you don't play it with people we're probably going to have to see today. Yeah, you play it with people you're never going to meet like celebrities.
Starting point is 00:55:31 Yeah, yeah, hot tub with Georgia. Waiting room, waiting room with Bree? Hike with Clint? No, I feel like Clint would be more patient in a waiting room than Bree. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And Bree, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Okay, Fletch forne, Hayley. Who would do better in these things? I've gone on many hikes with Vaughn. I'm not hiking with you, you're too fast. He's too fast. And you're too fast. You're doing a hike for the communal feeling and he's just gone. But I'm not...
Starting point is 00:56:03 So I'm in a hot tub with you because I'm not waiting in a hospital. I'm not waiting in a hospital with Fletch. Yeah. No, God, can you imagine it? No, that hot... This. Hurry up! Last time I was in a hospital waiting room for it was like six hours and I was absolutely fine.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Yeah, but it was... Yeah, but that was, you know, like... In a South American country. you had some things to watch. There was a lot of drama. It was like a TV show. It was fascinating. I believe you called it Le Pet.
Starting point is 00:56:29 Le Pet. Yeah, way, way, way. Yeah, so I'm in a hot tub with you. We've been in a hot tub together before. We could do two hours. Yep, absolutely. We've been on a hike together. Remember with that time we went on that hike?
Starting point is 00:56:39 How sad hike? A sad hike. We went on a sad hike. We went on a hike. It made us better. We got to the end and there was just this like the path had collapsed into the ocean. I think we actually are good at those roles. I'm...
Starting point is 00:56:52 Yeah. your hot tub because you're intolerable at the other things you're hike and I'm hospital I did eight hours in a hospital and I was there I'm entertaining but not too much
Starting point is 00:57:04 like your face went God it would be eight hours lying in bed and you're the entertainer Oh wait a wait am I in the hospital bedroom and I thought we were in a waiting room waiting to be seen Nah I'm by your side It's who you want to be waiting with you
Starting point is 00:57:17 When you're in pain I reckon I did eight hours earlier No I think it's in a hospital waiting room So it's people at their most intolerant. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and in patient, and in pain. Yeah, and saying what's wrong with this public health system and then not wanting to pay any more tax to fix it. Okay, let's go.
Starting point is 00:57:33 I'm going to go hottest men in Hollywood just to play like a fun anonymous. We don't know them. Okay. Okay, images. Okay, we'll go to Henry Cavill. Hot tub. Why don't you just come out already? I get a bit to-y.
Starting point is 00:57:47 You are so good. You're the gayest one on the show and that's saying something. Only for Henry. Cable. Harry Cable. Michael B. Jordan. Michael B. Jordan and Pedro Pascar.
Starting point is 00:57:58 Oh, what a great lineup. Pedro Pascar's wedding room. Because you know that he is like a caring person. Patient, caring. And he likes to like touch hot. He just be reassuring with a hand. Michael B. Jordan. Because it'd be getting hot.
Starting point is 00:58:10 No, hot tub. Henry Civel, because he could carry me. He's got a bit more beef to him. Yeah. Michael B Jordan hot tub. The bubbles are going. You know. Wear a hands.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Getting a little towing. Where are the hands? things. Where, what's going on in this hot tub? I'll do women to keep it balanced. We're going to have to drain the hot tub. Yeah. Oh, please.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Just someone who owns one. You don't promise a draining willy-nilly. Okay, let's do women. Don't. I don't reckon we need to. Adriana Ahriana. Hot tub. Jason's.
Starting point is 00:58:46 We don't even need to hear the other two. Hot tub. Hot tub. Yeah. Who's the other one that real hot we thought. It was, yeah. Hot tub. Hot tub.
Starting point is 00:58:54 You can't just have all three in the hot tub. Seems a waste of going to hype or a hospital. Go to your Instagram page and play it. There's always a four-person hot tub. At a Latina Gulf baddie. Exactly. Play Z-M's Flash, Forn and Haley. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Doodoo do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do. It's Depth Week All this week at Fact of the Day And Fact of the Day is what to you. He forgot. Totally forgot. Same here is just, I just, it's become a habit now. To forget.
Starting point is 00:59:34 No, that when I start saying Fact of the Day, I think, I've forgotten about the sushi. Yeah. So then I go back and visit the sushi. How much longer have they got? Because by, to be honest, they're probably going to get a free week. I make good.
Starting point is 00:59:46 I make good week. Because at the end, when they stop sponsoring Fact of the Day, I'm going to keep saying, it. Yeah. And by then my brain will have also remembered that of course Wednesday is tasty tuna mayo for $8.40, eight pieces of $8.40 didn't even need to look at the piece of paper.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Yeah. Yes, that's today's fact. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Lovely. That's today's fact of the day. Well, today we're looking at the deepest lake on earth.
Starting point is 01:00:08 Ooh. Yuck. There's bodies in there. Haley didn't even know about that deep lake in Takapuna. No. And he's like, why is there a lake? And we're like, what do you mean why is there? It's literally always been there.
Starting point is 01:00:20 I was Google mapping the Takapuna area And then I was like What's this big body of water that's landlocked? Yeah, it's an old volcanic crater It's one of the craters, eh? Pupolki. Yeah, Pupolke. And it just...
Starting point is 01:00:32 It's real deep. It's real deep. It's real deep. It's not deep sea diving, but they practice like... It's too dark. It's too dark. Topal's deep, isn't it? Topos is very deep.
Starting point is 01:00:46 What's the one down South Tiana? That's very deep. I just think that's not, if you're not from the ocean, what are you doing there? And it's like, so there's things in there. Well, today we're going to Siberia to Lake Baikal, which is the deepest lake on Earth. From the surface of the water down to sediment, it's 1,442 meters. So 1.6 kilometers straight down. It is the oldest lake.
Starting point is 01:01:11 It's estimated to be 30 million years old. Wow. And it holds 20% of the unfrozen freshwater on the planet. Whoa. That's crazy. So you think of every lake in New Zealand All of that water is poured into this And then five, it's got more water
Starting point is 01:01:27 Than the five big Great Lakes of North America Combined How old do you think Lake Topol is? Oh, five and a half thousand years old Haley, lock in an answer Haley, what's your guess? 10,000 years old 25 and a half to 27,000 years old
Starting point is 01:01:46 Oh, okay, wow, I thought I was being similar Yeah, having formed in the... Dinosaurs. A volcanic eruption. How long go with the dinosaurs? None millions. Way, way, way, way. I was like, hang on a second.
Starting point is 01:01:57 I've said dinosaurs and I don't mean it. Way, way, way, way. So this lake, Lake Bakal, not only super deep, because that's where the sediment starts at 1,600 meters, so 1.6 kilometers. But the sediment, if you stood in that, it'll go... So it's pulling apart at the rate of two centimeters. It sits on a continental rift.
Starting point is 01:02:13 It's pulling apart at two centimeters a year. Getting deeper. It's so, it's getting deeper. And because it's not stopping, that sediment isn't solid. So they say through that sediment, they do believe that it's actually, if you go through the sediment,
Starting point is 01:02:25 it's 11 kilometers to the actual bottom. So that's why when you said bodies before, if bodies get to the bottom are gone. Great place to dispose of one if you've got one. Really good. If you ever innate, getting it, I mean,
Starting point is 01:02:39 if I need to dispose of it, getting it there. Getting it to Siberia. If you could get it, I would take the person I'm murdering to Siberia in the ruse of wanting like a radio competition. take them on the Trans-Siberian Railway because the Trans-Siberian Railway
Starting point is 01:02:52 goes around the southern shore of this lake and then just be like open the door oh my God have you checked out the deepest lake in the world 200 bridges and 33 tunnels as part of skirting this lake the Trans-Siberian Railway used to get to it and then they'd chuck it on a boat and take the... And then you could write a book, murder on the Trans-Liberian Express and they fell into the Deep Lake Baikal
Starting point is 01:03:16 and then, yeah. And so the water also filters itself. It's got this little tiny endemic crustacean, tiny, tiny, constantly filters the lake. Oh my God, imagine. I want those in my sparkle. When the heat would kill them. Because when the ice goes, when it freezes on top,
Starting point is 01:03:33 which it did, by the way, and has killed many people as they try to traverse it because it is so wide. They're like, it's frozen we can get across it, not accounting for how cold they can eat. I'll never do that. That's so stupid. The ice goes clear, not white.
Starting point is 01:03:45 It doesn't go white ice, it stays perfectly clear because of the crustaceans constantly filtering it. If you were to give you an idea of how long this lake is, it's 636 kilometres long. If you started in Auckland, you'd get to just south of Kikolta. Whoa! One lake, one continuous body of water. So it's deep and long. Yeah. I need to see this thing.
Starting point is 01:04:03 What's it called again? Lake Baikal. You can actually see it. By carl in a note of soda. Yep. B-A-I-K-A-L. By Carl, found it. And then click on, so click on it right on Google Maps.
Starting point is 01:04:13 Kilda. And then start zooming out. And you can literally see. When you can see the entire like European Asian continent, you can still see the lake. Oh yeah, you can. And you've never noticed it before. There's Finland.
Starting point is 01:04:24 There's Russia. Just north of Mongolia. Okay. How fascinating. And I tell you what, that is always a question in pub quiz. Pub quizzes, dearless, know, what's the deepest lake in the world? Lake by car. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Yes. Oh, there's Charmin Rock. Not familiar with Charmin Rock. Oh, looks nice. It does look nice. So today's fact of the day is the deepest. Lake on Earth is just getting deeper as the world pulls apart. Oh, sub-fact.
Starting point is 01:04:52 Scientists believe it's the start of a new ocean, but none of us will be around to see it. We're going to break free. Is it going to break free? It's going to pull out and it's going to become its own ocean. We're breaking free. It's going to say that we're soaring, flying. High school musical? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Weird that I went there. 30 million-year-old lakes, of course. Very familiar with 2006 as high school musical. So today's fact of the day is the deepest lake in the world is in Siberia and it's called Lake by Carl. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day, day. Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do. Play Zatems Fletch, Vaughn and Haley. Well, we want to know now, 0800 dial Zat M.
Starting point is 01:05:40 You can text her as well, 9669696. what did you pretend to like of your exes, whether it was a hobby, their cooking, their music. Their passion, yeah, yeah, yeah. Are we already getting messages in? I've had three pretty brutal ones. Someone texting and say her comedy?
Starting point is 01:05:59 Her jokes. Her jokes? Well, so the reason we ask this is because, obviously at the moment Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are promoting Practical Magic 2. Which I saw. And this was great from the interview. What a brilliant.
Starting point is 01:06:12 set up. The interviewer asked Nicole and Sandra Bollick to give advice to a listener who wrote in to this show that they were on saying that they couldn't stand listening to her boyfriend's music. Like, feels a little bit set up. It feels a bit of set up. And a way
Starting point is 01:06:28 of asking Nicole Kidman if she actually liked her ex-husband Keith Urban's music. And so Sandra Bullock responds first, asking to give advice to this woman that doesn't like her boyfriend's music. And she said that the fuel of a relationship can easily burn out when both parties don't share the same passion.
Starting point is 01:06:46 She said if you don't like the music, it's not going to ignite the fuel in you. Yeah, you're right. So it's a tricky one. Nicole, Sandra cheekily threw to Nicole Kidman, to which she gave a huge laugh. Oh my God, amazing. And then she chimed in saying, you know, you've got to kind of find something that you like about the boyfriend's music, you've got to throw them a bone. But the way that they did it was just like, yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:07:10 We always do this to each other. A. Fletch. You're like, you little shitbag. I love that. I mean, it's Keith Irvin. I mean, you're either into that kind of music where you're not, right? She was with him for a long time. She had to be into the music.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Yeah, totally. Easy to say that. She's not now, but... But, I mean, sometimes you're with someone and everything's amazing, but one thing. Yeah, and you just pretend you're into it. And you just have to go along with it because you're just like, well, I like everything else. Maybe they're like outdoorsy. Yeah, we've already had feedback on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:07:39 I can we get this ball rolling. All that ball baby. I told her she was a good. could kiss her. She was terrible. She attacked my face like a wolverine and we clicked teeth on multiple occasions. Oh no. He was a young nat and took me to one of their barbecues while I was at uni. That was a lot to swallow. I had to pretend to like the email music and general vibe back in the mid-2000s. I absolutely hated it. Excuse me. Dude, that's living. My ex-I had to put up with his singing. I told him it was good. He was an aspiring opera singer but it was so terrible
Starting point is 01:08:08 and embarrassing when he did it in front of people. See, if you're not good at that, it's Yeah, if you're not actually good at opera singing, oh, good Lord. I had to pretend to like his friends. So glad I don't have to hang out with any of them anymore. What a punishment. I had to pretend I liked hearing about his mountain biking adventures. Oh, he was just excited to get home until you he did a jump over a log. He's been on his bike.
Starting point is 01:08:29 And then I rode over a bridge on my bike. I ripped a mean log jump. Oh, my gosh. Okay, well, this is what we want to know this morning. What did you pretend to like about an exes, whether it was sport, hobby, music, whatever it was. Maybe the impersonations. Yeah, 9-6-96, you can text in. 0,800 dollars a death.
Starting point is 01:08:47 Debbie, Debbie, what was it that you had to pretend to put up with? Oh, Lord, he was a cyclist, and he used to shave his legs more than I did. I couldn't turn around without being in the bath shaving those legs. You've got to get the aerodynamics, Debbie. They wick in the wind. Oh, God, no. It's been asking for one more time. Do you like my legs?
Starting point is 01:09:06 I was like, no. Thank God, I've got a manly man now with a bit of hair. Oh, lots of hair. Where we have. Okay, Deby, thank you. Let's go to Philippa. Philippa. What did you have to put up with?
Starting point is 01:09:17 With an ex. My ex is everything craft beer. IPA, APA, double IPA, made it at home, everything. Yeah, it's never as good when it's made at home. No, there's so much flavour. Yeah. And that would have sounded, that I would have smelt bad too.
Starting point is 01:09:36 The smell making it and also the Tootie Farts, the rich craft beer farts. Did he have tootty farts, Philippa? Yeah, he did, yeah, definitely. Yasty, craft beer farts, yuck. Thank God he's going. Philippa, thank you. Messages in, so many. Those are pretty light.
Starting point is 01:09:51 We'll go for some of the savage ones. I had to pretend to like his performance in the bedroom, which was lackluster at best. Oh, okay. I had to pretend to like his family. They were rough as guts and rude. Oh. I had to pretend to like her children to absolute little shit.
Starting point is 01:10:04 Oh, my God, you would too. Sarah, what did you have to pretend to put up with? Hey, movie references that he just kind of kept going on and on about that I just got to the point of laughing about so that he would, you know, think that I got it and stopped. What sort of like quoting things? Pardon? Which ones?
Starting point is 01:10:29 What, which movie references? No, like, loads. Like, constant, like, sentences from movies and me just going, ah, what? I don't know. Oh, gosh. I hate anything that makes you feel like you don't know enough.
Starting point is 01:10:44 You know what I mean? They're like, oh, you know that's seen in that movie. I don't know, bro. Sarah, thank you. Some more messages. Guys, so many. What did you have to pretend to, like of your ex? Them.
Starting point is 01:10:55 His penis. His penis. His personality. His personality. I had to pretend to be interested in cryptocurrency and mining Bitcoin. It was just so boring. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:03 And he thought he was going to be a billionaire overnight. I had to pretend to like my ex's family. They described themselves as organic. Oh, we're the most. manipulative, unhinged people I've ever met. We're talking about what you had to pretend to like of your exes, but now that you're ex, you can totally admit that you never liked it. No, I was never into that.
Starting point is 01:11:19 Danielle's messaged in, World of Warcraft. I don't care about your eight-hour raids, and if you were a healer of the party. To me honest, that sounds pretty exciting. I want to hear about it. Yeah, you would. I had to pretend to like his piece of shittness in Skyline and his stupid mullet that looks stupid.
Starting point is 01:11:34 We're really releasing steam today. Yeah, yeah, it's good. It's good. My ex is obsessed. with getting medals for himself, even for ridiculous things like super short runs. I had to pretend to be proud and pretend it was okay to have them hung all around our lounge. It was very, very cringe. Right. Angel, what don't you have to pretend to like about your partner now?
Starting point is 01:11:57 Oh, the fact that he is not a midget. Wait, so he wasn't, so was he very, very tall or very, very short? No, my ex was very short. and I can see the boarding spot on the top of his head. No, fence, guys, I love to. Angel, you're just, you're insulting everybody. This is no station for ball. I've got a bald spot.
Starting point is 01:12:18 It is, actually what, it is a good thing being a taller gentleman with the... Yeah, because people don't see it. They don't see it. But we do stand our short king. Andrew, so... We love a short king. How tall are you? How tall was he?
Starting point is 01:12:29 He was 162 and I'm 177. So 177 he's a little bit shorter than me. So you're a tall gal and he was a short boy? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Have you found yourself a big boy now? Yeah, well, kind of.
Starting point is 01:12:44 Not really. Can you see a spot? How tall is this one? I have a thing for short met, apparently. Wow, okay. We're not talking about it. We're not talking about it. You like to dominate them, you're going to throw them around?
Starting point is 01:12:55 Wait, are you pretending to like this guy's hide, or are you happy now? Uh, okay. He's not balding, so he's attributing. But for God's, same angel, stop with the ball bashing. The testosterone imbalance that causes it. Our baldness also makes us Randy animals in the bedroom. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 01:13:14 We're Randy animals. We're Randy animals. Thank you, Angel. The messages in. My new boyfriend only listens to German techno. And I mean, only listens to Germany. I really pretended and tried to like it, but I just don't. Please send thoughts and prayers.
Starting point is 01:13:28 Oh, I'm so sorry, Han. I couldn't. I had to pretend that I like the way he kissed me, although it didn't ignite anything. Wow. You can teach them. To kiss. Yeah. Like that woman
Starting point is 01:13:41 had messaged him before saying like a terrible performance in the bedroom. You've got to say you're going to say things that you like and don't like.
Starting point is 01:13:48 When I was younger he used to really like this guy and he used to put on videos of himself skating and surfing it was so painful and I pretended to enjoy at 20 years later
Starting point is 01:13:55 we just managed to catch up and he played me a track of him rapping. No, what are you doing? Stop it! We will not be catching up again. I think the dude's got passions. I'll give him that.
Starting point is 01:14:06 We love a man with a hobby. Yeah. Yeah. My ex and I were big music lovers across the board and he decided he wanted to give D&B production a go. Drum and bass. Yeah. Not dick and balls.
Starting point is 01:14:17 It was a vomiting mess of arcade noises, microwave beeps, lay it over drums. It was like when your kid brings home a painting from Kendi. They say, hey look, mom, it's a puppy, but really it looks like a squiggly penis. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I had to pretend to like my ex's haircut that she said she really liked, but she'd have like Frodo Baggins.
Starting point is 01:14:37 Oh, my God. My ex had a cat and a son that I had to pretend to like. A son. Oh my God, yeah, and the cat, it used to hiss at me. It got run over by a bus. Shout out to the Mount Albert 22N. No, don't call out the bus. Is that the night bus?
Starting point is 01:14:56 Yeah, I think that's the Mount Albert night bus. Oh, no, that's a poor driver. I know. Did the cat, did it tag on? The bus. It's not a free ride. I don't care if you're a cat or not. I think when you're stuck in the tire well,
Starting point is 01:15:08 you don't have to tag on. Oh, and Alan Smith. You said it. My ex cried a lot more than I did. And it got to the point where I was like, okay, it's okay you're in touch with your emotions, but for God's sake, pull your shit together. Right.
Starting point is 01:15:24 Crying over nothing. Yeah. I had to pretend to like rap music because he loved freestyling rap everywhere we went. Oh, God, that's the biggest ache you've ever said. Freestyling. Man, I just saw that guy across the road, Road with us heavy load
Starting point is 01:15:37 Heavy load, load Going to go down the road Remind me of a toad, toad Toad Toad Toad Do you know Don't you know
Starting point is 01:15:44 No That's instant dumping Where you're going to go Hole And his mother I'm gonna write the shit down This is fire His mother was worse than he was
Starting point is 01:15:52 His mother was a freestyle rapper as well Did freestyle rap Gosh she needs to meet the Mount Albert 22 end The ZM Podcast Network Play ZM's Flesh Fawn and Haley Gen Z, you're missing the point of a hobby, apparently. You know everyone's maxing at the moment?
Starting point is 01:16:12 You do hair maxing or... Looks maxing. Looks maxing. Relax maxing. You're hamming your face with a hammer. Hammy face with a hammer. I'm not going to pass on that one. No, you're good.
Starting point is 01:16:24 Yeah. Well, Gen Z'sies have been hobby maxing, which is getting a bunch of different hobbies and stacking them on, like going, whoa, I'm going to do this, I'm going to do this. And then they're tracking them so hard. They're actually turning their hobbies into work. They're sucking the fun out of a hobby. The whole point of a hobby is to...
Starting point is 01:16:41 It costs you heaps of money, never makes you any money, and sucks up all of your time. Yeah, but it's supposed to be your break away from, like, thinking too much or... Yeah, the grind. Yeah, the grind, mental load. You've recently been making candles with your girlfriend, the Beeswax candles.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Yeah. If you started selling those, that would take the fun out of it. Selling them or also just getting too much into it, Like getting too, researching the thing too much. Got a couple of hours. Chuck it on, mount some wax, pull the moulds, leave them overnight.
Starting point is 01:17:11 You've got some lovely bears wax. That's a perfect little hobby. The moment that you're now, you know, you're paying your taxes and you've got to go to the markets like our friend in the early mornings to sell and then they cancel and then you're doing this. And you're like, man, I didn't need a whole Etsy shop. This is crazy. Now I've got to shut that down.
Starting point is 01:17:26 I owe money to the IRD. This is what Gen Z's doing. Because they're getting so into hobbies and they're like, I've got like four hobbies on the go. I do this, this, this, this. That it's actually sucked all the fun out of it. But in saying that, though, they're side hustling because they're trying to make the money.
Starting point is 01:17:40 The job's not paying enough. Yeah, totally. I know. So you can see why. The old saying, you know, what does it work a job you love and you'll never work another day in your life? Not true. We're working.
Starting point is 01:17:52 We're going to resenting. If you take your hobby and you try to make it, you know, I love doing this hobby, I'll try to make it. You're just going to end up hating it. I definitely, like, when I went to drama school, and acting and performance and stuff was definitely a hobby and then you're like,
Starting point is 01:18:06 yeah, I love it so much I want to turn it to my job, I love entertaining people. Definitely some of the fun gets sucked out of it so then you've got to replace it with another hobby because then you've made your passion, your job. Yep.
Starting point is 01:18:17 I see how you end up hobby stacking. Yeah, yeah. Listen, not even acts. Chasing the dopamine. Yeah, and not everyone needs a bloody Etsy shop. The Z&M Podcast Network. Well, the stars of heated rivalry are currently filming at the moment
Starting point is 01:18:30 season two, the much anticipated season. And they have revealed, Connestorian Hudson Williams, they have matching tattoos. Oh, yeah. Sex cells. I mean, I guess they're basically in a really sexy show. It's changed their life. They're hot, it does.
Starting point is 01:18:46 It's making everyone money. Yeah, hell yeah. So they've revealed their matching tattoos on Instagram. And they look fresh, like they don't look fake. Yeah, you're nice, nice. But yeah, you've got a few matching tattoos. I've got. Because this is what I want to know.
Starting point is 01:19:00 Four. Do you have a matching tattoo? 0,800 dials at em. I do. Who's it with? And bonus points if you're no longer friends or with them. Yeah, how bad.
Starting point is 01:19:11 That's the juicy stuff, right? I've got four, I've got one with the bestie. So I've got five. Two with the bestie. Yep. I've got one with my brother. One with my marching close friends. Yep.
Starting point is 01:19:23 And one with a random guy I hooked up with last year. Of course. Of course Are you not going to cover that up Or turn it into something else? No, because he did In a terrible way No
Starting point is 01:19:36 No, because the tattoo's fine Everything's a story to me I think some people feel like they want to change You know, change things And make them right I'd want to cover it up Or laser it and get something else I don't mind the tattoo itself
Starting point is 01:19:49 Right Despite and I think it's such a good story It's a funny yarn to me You're wild, Haley Sprout You're wild So that story's not in my show. It's not on any of the podcast. I love it.
Starting point is 01:20:00 Okay, well, 0,800 dials at em. We want to take your calls. 9-6-96. We'll start with Hannah. Hannah's called up. Hannah, good morning. How many matching tattoos do you have? I've got four.
Starting point is 01:20:11 Oh, yeah. Who are they with? I've got one with my sister. Yep. And then I've got one with my partner. Yep. And then I've got one with my best mate. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:20 And then I've got one that I got with my old friend. Old friend. Oh, okay. Oh, great. No longer friend. And so you're not friends anymore? No, no, it's just a cheese, though. It's just a cheese.
Starting point is 01:20:31 A cheese? Just a cheese. Like a cartoon cheese with holes in it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like a wedge of Swiss cheese. Swiss cheese. Yeah, cute. Can I ask, and I'm not, and I'm sure that you're very much in love with your partner,
Starting point is 01:20:44 but what is the matching one you have with your partner? It's just like the year we got together, and then it's got, like, I don't know, it's got a meaning behind it, like. Okay. Yeah, personal love. It's okay. If the worst happened and you were to split up, would you get it removed or covered up or we just like that?
Starting point is 01:21:00 No way. No, I love it. Yeah, just part of the story, yeah. Yeah, yeah, okay. Hannah, thank you. Keep your text coming in. 9-6-96-0-800-Darles at him. Who do you have a matching tattoo with? And what's the story?
Starting point is 01:21:11 And if we get enough, if we get 100 messages in, Fletch will get Vaughn on a horse as well. So many. Let's go to Kayla first. Kayla, who do you have a matching tattoo with? So I've got three matching tattoos with some friends. My most important matching tattoos with my grandmother. Oh, cool.
Starting point is 01:21:30 Yeah, so she was 92 years old at the time when she decided she wanted to get a matching tattoo with me. That's cool. Oh, and had she ever had a tattoo before then? No, she had a... Wow, I imagine at 92 you've got to pull the skin toit. You've really got to pull that thing. She was super glamorous. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:50 So, yeah, but she's passed away now, so it's actually really special that that tattoo is still... Oh, that's nice. Because I didn't know if you have it on the inside of your index finger. It kind of disappears. It comes off. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:04 The skin's tough. Yeah, so it's just half a star. But, yeah, super special. Oh, I love that. She got it hers on the same spot? She got it on the finger? Yeah, she had it on the same spot. hers faded away too, but...
Starting point is 01:22:16 Yeah. Yeah. Nah, even if it doesn't look perfect, it's like the memory of getting it with her, which is nice. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah, so nice. A few people said, why don't you just get it filled in again?
Starting point is 01:22:27 And I said, no. Because it was experience. Yeah, and it's kind of like almost poetic, too, that it's faded. Like it's disappearing. But you've still got the half there. That's deep. Yeah, that's deep. That's deep.
Starting point is 01:22:36 That's deep. That's deep. Yeah, exactly. Kayla, thank you. Let's go to Haley. Haley, a matching tattoo. Who with? I've got a matching tattoo with my mum, my brother and my sister.
Starting point is 01:22:50 Okay. It's of, it's my dad's name in his, handwriting and his ashes are in the ink. Oh, I've seen... Are you allowed to do that? Yeah. Well, I guess so. My brother found a tattoo artist out, out sort of West in Auckland.
Starting point is 01:23:08 I think it's called Green Tide. And yeah, they put a little bit... You have to pay a bit more because I think just health and safety and stuff like that. But we all have that tattoo. Oh, my God. Wow. It was really like a part of you. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:23:21 Yeah, people turn ashes into rings and stuff, but putting it in the end. I haven't heard it put in the line. So it's like always, that's incredible. That's very cool. Haley, thank you for sharing. Some messages. Myself and my cousins, there's six of us, all got matching E with a star tattoos
Starting point is 01:23:36 when my granny passed away suddenly. She raised all of us, so we got her initial E with a star because her name meant star in Spanish. Right. Star. I've got a... Esther.
Starting point is 01:23:47 Esther. I've got a matching tattoo with my now wife's ex-partner. Oh, God. Like what? My now wife. sex partner. So you ran away with your exes... No, your partner. You got a tattoo with your mate.
Starting point is 01:24:01 Yep. And then you end up with his misses. Yes. Yes. Oh. Oopsie Daisy. Interesting. I have a little sardine on my ankle matching with a friend who moved to Australia. We don't talk much anymore. Yeah, you've got a cute sardine. That's a real cute sardine. Got a little sardine. Yeah, it's upside down. My best friend said, do you want to get matching tattoos
Starting point is 01:24:18 for our 50th? We've got a hummingbird fine line on our foot. Same location. Two of us are... That's cute. It's matching. I've been matching one with my best ring from college. We did them ourselves with a pin and some ink. I've covered it up with the proper tattoos. I have three matching tattoos with my husband. My favorite is our wedding tattoo.
Starting point is 01:24:34 He has Chuckie, the doll. And I have Tiffany, the bride of Chuckie. Oh, wow. That's good. That's love. That is beautiful. I knew a girl who had matching worm tattoos with their bridesmaids. Don't seem to be friends at them anymore, and the marriage didn't last.
Starting point is 01:24:49 Like tequila worms or squirms? Or earthworms. Fizzy worms, earthworms. And they're not friends anymore. You should get a Coke bottle tattoo. Yeah, that'd be cute. You like the fizzy lolly because you love those. Yeah, I love them.
Starting point is 01:25:02 I don't have that a tattoo well. Because you have to get a realism one so that you could see the little crystals of sugar on it. Yeah. I'll get that with you if you get it Fletch. No. My best and I have matching wine glass tattoos in our wrists. Oh, nice.
Starting point is 01:25:18 They love wines together. I love wine. I've got wine too. Not getting our Not a tattoo I met a girl in recovery overseas After getting our boobs done And recovery
Starting point is 01:25:30 You've got matching scars I'm matching scars I thought you meant like drug Recovery And to be honest You've probably got the matching batch Of the implant Oh yeah same sort of
Starting point is 01:25:40 Yeah same batch Same sort of date of aspiring See you in 10 years These bad boys Matching tattoos with my ex It was a bong and a lighter done with a cheap gun That we got a Facebook marketplace
Starting point is 01:25:49 It's been covered up now Like every great story starts we purchased a gun from Facebook marketplace. A little more than an idea of a bong and a lighter. Matching palm tree tattoo on my ankle with a girl I met on holiday in Portugal. Still Facebook friends but never talked after that trip. Oh my God, that's brilliant. Wow.
Starting point is 01:26:08 You should just reunite with her one sometime. Yeah. My bestie ones called a mimosa, a mimusa. We went straight after that brought on this brunch to get champagne glasses with mous antlers on our booties. So we've got matching tattoos. I love that. I got a diet. Coke tattoo after my mum passed. She'd drink
Starting point is 01:26:24 eight a day. Fridge Sig. First thing in the morning last night. Is that why she died? Mom loved a fridge steak. I reckon eight a day is too many. Someone said I have matching tattoos with each of my children. So they've gone and like just done a little custom one. All these people that have matching tattoos with their brothers and cousins
Starting point is 01:26:40 I don't even know where what are my cousins lives. Oh me and my partner and best friend. Do you know I don't even know one of my cousins' names? Like I can't even, I think about it sometimes. I know there's a third one. And yet there's people out there with their cousin's name on them. Or tattoo, matching tat.
Starting point is 01:26:56 And then there's one other who, I can't, don't even know. Bizarre, isn't it? Someone's got matching tattoo, dinosaur tattoos with their partner and their best friend. Cute. Like third wheel situation there. The Z&M Podcast Network. We started the show didn't we with true crime. If you've been listening
Starting point is 01:27:12 since six, thank you very much. But we started with true crime. And I want to cross now to our producer girlies, both of whom love true crime, but probably Shannon more than anyone. Book ending the show with true crime. This was a stylistic choice Is that your knife? That's my true crime noise.
Starting point is 01:27:28 It's like a squeaky cupboard or something. Yeah, yeah, I'll get some CRC on that. Oh, that's probably better, yeah. That was better. Blood down the train. Hitchcock, psycho. Anyway, so there is an opportunity for true crime lovers, perhaps, to go and stay somewhere terrifying.
Starting point is 01:27:49 Yeah, you know how we're... Allegedly. Oh, sorry, legally. How old is this case? 150 years? Yeah, 1800s. You know how when heated rivalry came out? The cottage went on Airbnb and everyone booked it out
Starting point is 01:28:01 and it's like the new hot place to stay. Well, there's a new Airbnb to go stay at. It's the Lizzie Borden, the murders house. Now tell us about Lizzie Borden. This was 1800s, X murderer. Yes, yes. Allegedly. There's that famous nursery rhyme, you know, gave her dad 40 wax,
Starting point is 01:28:19 gave her mum 41. That's Karen. She said. Yeah, close enough. Yeah, close enough. But no, so the question is whether Lizzie Borden was the one to do the axe murders or not. The murders definitely happened in this house.
Starting point is 01:28:34 It's if she did it or not. Right, right, right. Right. There's a new Netflix drama coming out. The Monster series comes out tomorrow. Oh, I love Monster series. They're good, good, good. Yeah, they are.
Starting point is 01:28:45 Yeah, really good. But yeah, now the house is on Airbnb. So you can go and stay, it's a weird thing as humans, eh? like that we want to stay in a place where people will be murdered. Yeah, so you can... I don't want to. I don't even want to go there. You can pick which murder, murdy you stay in, like which room? You'll be like, oh, the dad's in that one.
Starting point is 01:29:01 Have they named... Because, you know, sometimes you go to an Airbnb, and it's like, here's the seashore room or something, and it's there's seashells in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Here's the forest room, and it's got green colors. Yeah, this is Abby Borden's room, where her body was found on the couch.
Starting point is 01:29:17 Lizzie Borden took an axe, gave her mother 40 wax. Yes. When she saw what she had done, She gave her father 41. That's right. Andrew Borden is now dead. Lizzie hit him on the head. Up in heaven he will sing.
Starting point is 01:29:27 On the gallows, she will swing. It's still a no from me. Yeah, I'm not interested in that. I don't want to... Apparently someone was killed in my house, but I think that was a rumour. You never twice that? Yeah, that's new.
Starting point is 01:29:39 What? When I bought it, the owner before the owner, I knew them. And she was like, there's a ghost in there. Have you met the ghost? And I said, no, I haven't met the ghost. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:29:51 And then I was like, why is there a ghost and it was like a person that had been killed or something? Well, the good news is ghosts are naturally attached to a spestoth. So when you put that all in the bottom of that skip and then put all the other building materials on top to hide it. Yeah, it's gone. The ghost is also gone. Thank God. Great news. Oh.
Starting point is 01:30:10 Who did your tummy? Yeah, that was my tum-tum. That was my tun-tum-tum-tum. Hey guys, I reckon it was the most fun I've ever had on a show. Oh, not for me, Vaugh. Oh, no, we're even close. No, nowhere even close. No, you haven't been.
Starting point is 01:30:23 been here long, have you? No, I haven't. Well, if you were listening and you had fun, why don't you give us a little review and a rating? Play ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley.
