Starting point is 00:00:00 from the ZDM podcast network. This is... Fleshwon and Haley's Big Pod. Thanks to animates, making happy happen for pets. Welcome to the show. Fletch Fawn and Haley, two minutes past six.
Starting point is 00:00:12 We're wearing our waz. At the wands. It is. We're in it for the waz. Everyone out there. Sunday, 6 o'clock, Eden Park. It's the nights.
Starting point is 00:00:23 I've got a little bit... I've got your... You guys need to stop kissing and bumming afterwards. The kissing I could stop. Stop the bummer. I just can't give up. Apparently this cough can last for up to six weeks.
Starting point is 00:00:34 You went to the doctor's day? Man, I hope I've got that one. The doctor says, yep, I was like, great. That's what I'd love. A cough that just keeps going. How many weeks are you in? Two? Two.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Oh, mate. So fun. Look forward to that for the next six weeks. People will be like, we haven't even noticed you've had a cough. Fletch turns as my cough. And then coughs then turns it back on like that. I'm a broadcasting professional, Hayley. It really is.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Well, if you are heading off to work, and you've got a waz jersey. Wear it for the waz today. Support the waz this weekend. Vaughan it will be your pick for Friday flashback today. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm thinking of dipping into some 90s. My daughter, my 14-year-old,
Starting point is 00:01:13 is all she's listening to at the moment is the 1990s. What kind of sublime, early snoop dog? Tupac. She hasn't dipped a toe on Tupac. I introduced her to the Wutang Clan. Oh, wow. We had some good. She's like, I like that one.
Starting point is 00:01:25 I like that one of those. She's got some Wutang ones on the playlist now. She goes to school on the North Shore. I'd be watching. I'm worried. The North Shore is... I was about to say a word we're allowed to say in the early 2000s,
Starting point is 00:01:35 but don't say anymore. You don't say that word anymore. I don't even know what you're talking about. I'll tell you off here. Oh, naughty. Yeah. Hey, woman are weird, eh? What?
Starting point is 00:01:45 My girlfriend just messaged me. Can we please go bra shopping today? Probably go on your own. No. Are you kidding me? Of course. Because you might get to see some boobs. Boobbies.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Of course I want to get brash. They're so hypnotic out now. What a great day been born. It is. The day's... The day's turn around, baby. Sometimes I like to disarm my boyfriend with my boobs. You know, like talking, you're like, boop.
Starting point is 00:02:06 And it's just, that's just... The day melts. Weird. Yeah, mate, garage nearly burnt down yesterday. Talk about that later in the show. Yesterday was all over the shop. Go to see some boobs. You get to see some boobs all the time.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Looking up for the old Smithy. You've got the top six for us soon, a moment in parliament. And MP said the C word. In parliament. And were they asked to leave? Ah, then they got kicked out. Yeah, okay, you can't say the seawword in parliament. But I've got the top six times it's acceptable to say the seword.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Next on the show, people are excited. Yeah, there is a nostalgic tour coming to Australia. And it's not who you think it's going to be. Play, that ends, Fleshhorn and Haley. You've bought a ticket to a nostalgic event. You grew up in the 90s and the 80s, and you're very excited. You'll file into a theatre, lights go dark, and then a screening of home alone comes on.
Starting point is 00:02:59 I'm not upset. Flawless movie. Great movie, great Christmas film. Absolutely incredible. How old is it now? 1990 it came out. So 37 years. 37 years, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Wow. Yeah, this Christmas. 37, is it right? 36, 37. Yeah, 36-ish. What year is it, guys? And then afterwards, right? Watch the movie.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Oh, how great. Love this. Afterwards, a Q&A session with McCauley Colcomb. That's really cool. Well, this is what's coming to Australia. It's called a nostalgic night. It's like a format that they do quite a lot in the US, which is a play an old nostalgic movie,
Starting point is 00:03:34 and afterwards get a cast member to come out, answer all sorts of questions about it. And people absolutely love it. They go crazy. So McCauley Colkin's coming out, and the audience just gets to ask him a whole bunch of behind the scenes questions. Because, you know, he was honouring at the Emmys.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Yes, Catherine O'Hara. Catherine O'Hara. He did that with... Eugene, Eugene Levy and... No, so it was Dan Levy. Eugene wasn't there, I don't think. Which was like our mum, you know, like honouring his mum. And he was there when she got a star on the Hall of Walk of Fame
Starting point is 00:04:06 and Hollywood Walk of Fame and all that kind of stuff. So that's it. He's just going to be coming out and touring around Australia. No New Zealand dates in there. Aboo! At the moment. Sounds like a tax write-off, doesn't it? Sounds like a tax-ride-off way of...
Starting point is 00:04:20 To have a summer holiday in Australia. Maybe. Getting paid to holiday. So it's Brissy in 24th November, Melbourne, 27th November Sydney 29th November I would love to go to this Just checks calendar
Starting point is 00:04:33 Checks calendar famously never busy Yeah Oh How much are they selling tickets to this thing I actually don't know Because I can't imagine It's cheap to fly McCauley Colkin over
Starting point is 00:04:46 And you know He's got to make some money Is he going Is he gone business First class I'd imagine I'd imagine And he'd bring his wife with him
Starting point is 00:04:56 What's her name? What's her name? The actress. Ex-Disney actress. Her pastimee Can. Sorry, what is it, Shandong? Brenda Song. Brenda Song.
Starting point is 00:05:06 What was she in? By the way, The sweet life of Zach and Cody. By the way, your boyfriend was very excited about this event, wasn't he? Strangely. It was random. He like, you know, I could tell him about anything in this world and he knows nothing about it.
Starting point is 00:05:18 He just lives on his own bubble. Except you say he goes, crazy about Ed Shearan. I said, oh, that's reached him. That's reached him. But he was like, Shannon, McCauley Colkin's playing home alone. We should go. We have never been to Australia together.
Starting point is 00:05:33 I've been to Australia once in my life now for work. But he was like, we should go to Australia to watch McCauley Colkin play home alone. Well, if you want to, if you want, what do you want to go? You want gold reserved? That's 150 bucks. If you want a VIP upgrade, the price is TBCB. You get to meet him. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:05:51 You get a photo. All right. Laminated lanyet. I mean, to be honest, people, that. That's what, a couple of hours for the movie, then the Q&A. That's as long as you'd go to a concert and you'd spend more. Yeah, totally. Well, pre-sale on Monday 21st, if you're interested in going,
Starting point is 00:06:06 or Brendan wants to buy you some tickets. Go and meet McCauley Colcott after a night of watching Home Alone. The ZN Podcast Network. Is this a show real? Play ZDN's Flesh, Forne, and Hayle. From the unmoderated comment section, this is the top six. So the C-bomb was dropped in Parliament. It's not the first time lately either.
Starting point is 00:06:26 there's been a fear. Go New Zealand Day. Yeah, look. I love the word. Obviously, I wouldn't say it on here. I'm a huge fan of the word. But it gives the power and impact that you want it to
Starting point is 00:06:39 when you're using it. You've seen the online trend of like teenagers saying to their parents, what's your favourite swear word? And the parents are like, I can't say swear word. And they're like, oh, and dads will be like, I just shit. And then the kids like, oh, mine's beep
Starting point is 00:06:51 and drop the C-bomb. And their parents' face is just like next level. Back in the day. A, yeah, but Patsy loves a C now. Does she? Yeah, yeah, if she's raging. No, Christine wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:07:03 I'm a little bit more fond of the odd F. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's really loosening up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She'll do a B. She shard to a C. But I got the top six times it's actually okay.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Does your mom ever call people a silly bitch? Yeah, that's what my mom does. Oh, silly bitch. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I love it. It's nice. You put silly on the front and makes it a bit more whimsical. It softens it.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Yeah, it softens it endlessly. Top six times it's okay. to say the C word. Number six on the list when you just got back in your car from the supermarket and you realized you forgot something in the supermarket.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Yeah, exactly. That's the time. To yourself. It's worse when you get all the way home and you realize you've been done that. And you're making something and that's a core and grip. Home back.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Number five. Maybe a little less of the word. Maybe less of the word. Maybe don't say it. Don't say the front half and then tail, I hope because it sounds like you say the whole word. Number five on the list of the top six times
Starting point is 00:07:55 it's okay to use the C-Bomb. when you see a good friend you haven't seen for a little while. Oh, yeah. Well, we do that in New Zealand and Australia, and people overseas are like, aghast. Yeah. Oh, too, New Zealanders in America dropping that. They just don't know what to do with themselves.
Starting point is 00:08:08 I've had some looks in America. The GC. Yeah. Number four on the list of the top six times it's okay to use the C word. When someone's written Clint in capital cursive and you're just saying out loud what it looks like. Yeah, sometimes the Brie and Clint. Yes.
Starting point is 00:08:21 If they get the font wrong. They really have to focus on the font. You've got to be a significant gap between the capital L and the capital I. Almost a whole other space. Where was... Double space. Clint written... It was Brie and Clint and it said Clint and it had...
Starting point is 00:08:36 Where the L ends and the I starts, there was like a door gap or something, and it literally looked like it said it. Yeah, yeah. On a billboard, it's so good. Number three on the list of the top six times, it's okay to use the C word. When you put a load of washing on the washing machine and the cycle finished and you forgot about it, and now it's three days later and you just opened the washing machine. You're like, where's my favourite top?
Starting point is 00:08:54 I want beeps at me constantly. Does it? That in my microwave. Just like, Oh, microwave is going to stop beeping. And it's like, I'm not ready for you yet. Fridge?
Starting point is 00:09:05 Yep. Mine throws a bloody party every time you leave it open for 10 seconds. But then you want that. You don't mind that. But give me some space. I hang the washing after this episode. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:14 I hang it when I'm ready. And if I don't be it on me, I didn't put the bins out today. Ah, shit. Wait, was that a thing or an actual? No, I didn't put the bins out today. Oh, okay. The cycling's full.
Starting point is 00:09:24 All the boyfriends stay over? Yeah. It's not recycling day. Yes, it is. Is it recycling day on your... It doesn't mind. Do we have often at Fridays? We've got...
Starting point is 00:09:32 Because my recycling day is next Friday. Are you sure? Well, it's always the Friday that I have the girls. Well, that's crazy. I have them every second Friday night. So that's how I remember it's recycling day. Yeah, right. You know, it's ours today.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Weird that we live so close. Yeah, they're different recycling days. Gosh, so I need to talk to somebody about when it's a public holiday and they're like, it's all going to be a day later. Do they just work for Saturday? I think so, yeah. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Because it's cheaper than paying someone a day and a half. Time and a half. They just pay them for the Saturday. Do you know, I went to a cafe, this was in Australia recently, because that just reminded me. You know, when you go to a cafe, it's public holiday. They do. And it's the...
Starting point is 00:10:03 Surcharge. I went to a place, and they had a weekend surcharge. I've seen that. In New Zealand. Yeah. In New Zealand. Yeah, for sure. Piss off.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Piss off. Piss off. Oh, you almost use the C word. Yeah, yeah. Piss off, yeah. Like, then close on the weekends. Yeah. Can't you just close on the weekends and see how they goes for people?
Starting point is 00:10:22 Yeah, shut up. I know. Number two on the list. God, talk back. Yeah, God, probably business here. Three white people having a good winch. Yeah, about bloody, about some real first world problems.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Eggs on toast. Yeah, as the hospital industry suffers and closures every week. Well, I don't like it. Marcus. Number two on the list of the top six times, it's okay to use the C-word. When you're trying to remember somebody's name. You know, that C-word. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:47 That guy. He's a good. He's a good. You know. Number one on the list. list of the top six times it's okay to use a C word. When someone's driving isn't exactly how you drive. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:59 For sure. Yeah. I'll indicate your C. Yeah. Oh my God. Yeah, I followed a big RAM yesterday that didn't indicate at all. Dodge Ram. And he had a fox racing decal on the back.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Oh, yeah. He was a real C. It was a real fox work, was he? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but they're worse than Ranger drivers because those things are tanks. They're huge. You don't need any kind of indicators. I was like, whoop.
Starting point is 00:11:19 He's going off now. Round we go, round we go. That's today's top. 6. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fleth Born and Haley. Oush. Oush.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Oush, I'll say. 5K Road, Karanga Hape Road venues have lost their liquor license. Uh-oh. Family Bar. Auckland's Homosexual Hot Spot. Which I thought would have had some business this weekend, primarily for people taking the trade.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yeah, they love it. Yeah, I guess so. Yeah, it's going to make it easy there. Exactly. Either end, you're a stoke throw from Family Bar. Yeah. Family Down Under? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Is that the downstairs bar? That's the downstairs. I performed there before as a little drag king. Really? Years ago when I was in drama school. Gay club, G-A-Y. Yeah, I've been there. Los Vegas Night Club.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Hang on, is that where you lost your phone? Phone, whole handbag and jacket. Yeah, that's right. A big night out with Maddie Maclean, wasn't it? Maddie McLean and it was at the end of the night when they were like, get out everyone and we're standing on the street and Mattie's like, are you Ubering back to Fletcher's? I was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Have you ordered your Uber? And I was like, no, don't have any. And they wouldn't let you in to get it. You wouldn't let me in to get it. Really? What time of the morning? Four? Oh, Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Yeah. And in fact, I'd woken up by then and saw Haley on Fine Friends on K Road and was like, this is not going to use your test. Ah, this will end in tears. So, Las Vegas. Is that another gay club? I haven't been there. I don't know, another club.
Starting point is 00:12:54 It's all in the same area, yeah. The Mavana Group owns these five bars, and the police and the liquor licensing inspector cited ongoing non-compliance issues. So there could be a number of things, right? Like underage people. Too late, capacity things, too drunk serving boost. Yeah, yeah, yeah, serving people too drunk.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Yeah, there was a situation where the bouncer knocked a patron unconscious. Oh, okay. Yeah, that was another incident, wasn't that? That was one of them that was cited by this. so they don't have a liquor license going into the weekend. What are they going to do? Poppers.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Poppers. Poppers. Pills and poppers. Are they allowed to sell poppers? Are you even still going to open if you don't have booze? No, I don't think so. No. No, no one's going for a lemonade, are they?
Starting point is 00:13:37 We were thinking of heading up to K Road tonight for like a B.YO. Well, we were thinking of doing the CRL. Pub cruel. Pub crawl. Starting in Brittermore. We should go past. I was thinking of taking that. the CRL, somebody messaged in the other day saying
Starting point is 00:13:53 we don't give a shit about Auckland's dumb trains from Christchurch. Everyone does. I said, excuse you, Christchurch. We gave a shit about your stadium. I've been giving a shit about the new stadium and the trains. I give a shit about infrastructure. I get a big stiffy for infrastructure regardless of we're in the country. Okay, well Matt has message in saying he will not be going into any of those bars on our pub crawl today.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Why is Matt? Our beloved homosexual friend. Matt's not coming to that. So Antie K-Rode gay bars? Matt's, me and Matt, we've got sort of the same alliance on when you dip out of a social event. Yeah, he's good. Actually, Mike just said I won't be and it's my birthday. Well, we won't be because they're shut down.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Oh, happy birthday, Mike, by the way. We'll be going to a classy establishment. Yes, like Eagle, cross the road. Is that still open? Yeah, that's not of the same group. It's really kind of exploded our pub crawl idea, hasn't it? I know, these are some of the hottest spots. Well, not really in mid-afternoon.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Is calendar girls still open? That's a genuine question. So it's a gaggle tonight for Mike's birthday. Yeah. We're going to go to calendar girls. Female strippers and pay an excessive amount for drinks while you know. We won't be going there. Matt, how do you feel about that?
Starting point is 00:15:03 Yeah, kind of interest you on that? Oh, God. So what's the process? Do you know what's the process of remit to pay a F's? Yeah, I don't know. You promise you'll be good and not do it again? Because how do you prove? Mike says, sure, but I've got to pay the cover charge.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Okay. For calendar girls? Mike's gonna have such a good birthday. Yeah, because you'd have to pay a fee for breaching whatever your liquor license was, right? Yeah, but how do you prove that you're going to behave without the chance to prove it? Well, the games are we have to just go to a straight club and... Someone said, why don't we just go to the dairy on K Road and get some nangs and some shisha. Dude.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Yes. Does that place on K Road still sell the nags? No, no, no. I think... They used to... Because that was my local dairy when I lived near there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They just whip up under the counter.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Yeah. I'm making a cake. Making a cake. Really, it's like 11pm at night. I need a whipped cream. I don't have any of beta. I've got one of those old things. I don't know, nag shisha and a cab.
Starting point is 00:15:59 That's not like a good end. What a night. Happy birthday, Mike. The Z&M Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley. So little poll today is what way do you cut your tapes? Oh my throat. So we ask.
Starting point is 00:16:30 I can't. He has been kissing. He's got the sick. He's got my sick. God damn. So a woman has posted this online mocking her partner. Yeah, she said, can you cut these potatoes for me? And he cut them.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Long ways. Long ways. So there was long. Long. Now, we've just had an off of your debate. Yeah, because the potato is lying down, long side down. Yep. So I said vertical and horizontal.
Starting point is 00:16:53 And Haley said horizontal, but she pictured the potato standing up. When I picture a potato, it's not like that. No, why would you cut a potato standing up? That's dangerous. When it's on the board, I'm like there. Right. So I'm cutting it so that it's... Chunkier rather than longer.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Right. And that's how you cut it too. I just went horizontal. Do you cut it long ways? Yeah. I was making wedges I'd cut it long ways. Or chips I'd cut it long ways. But if I'm just going to boil them...
Starting point is 00:17:19 But boiling it actually makes more sense to cut them along way because you get in more surface area. It would boil cook it. No. For mashing. Like I'm thinking of when I cut a kumara and I want to cube it. Yeah, then it's easier to make cubes out of two horrily...
Starting point is 00:17:31 Oh my God, I tell how about you do it. Yeah. Cut it different. Then I cut potato. Do you? I just realised it. I got like that as well with Kermita. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:38 But with the potato I'd cut it like, so it was stumbling. I cut Kermita into discs. Fat, fat discs and then cut them. No, but if you're roasting Kermita and you've got discs. Yeah, that's, um. Shit roast. Chunky roast Kermita.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Yeah, well, I got the disc and then I cut that in half if I'm roasting. You're more cutting. You're cutting too much. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like, I tell you what I don't like cutting. Dicing onions. Pumpkin. Oh, pumpkin's a nightmare.
Starting point is 00:18:01 You've got to have a machete for pumpkin. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you're cutting a potato in half, which way you're cutting it, dudes, my dudes, it's a 50-50 split. Is it? Vertical or horizontal if the potato's lying on its long side. So not only are we globally, politically, politically divided at the moment. So divided.
Starting point is 00:18:18 So politically divided. Yep. We are also divided on the potato. We are so divided on the potato. Sonia said, now that is a satisfying and quinky-dink read the topic. Is that it's 50-50. She's like, I love seeing your syllable poles is 50-50.
Starting point is 00:18:34 So let's be back about the specific syllable pole rather that she just likes when syllable poles are 50-fifths. It really happens, does it? It rarely happens. The only answer is vertical. Who wants long potatoes? If I want wedges, I'll go to the pub, says Targe. She's never cutting her own wedge.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Yeah, so I'm vertical, right. Emma, it's only, I've only just started cutting horizontally, so long ways. And I don't know why, but it feels like you get more out of your potato. Better cuts and better for bite sizes. Larger surface touching the pan equals more crunchy goodness for the roasties. Yeah, so she's going horizontal. So she's going horizontal for more surface area. On a sideways laying potato.
Starting point is 00:19:16 I was going to roast some kumera this weekend, I think. Yeah, good. Roast kumata is the burmata slabs. Kermit is number one. Kermit. And when you get a kumata fry, you're like, how yeah, that slaps? Yeah, yeah. A real good one.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Oh, yeah. Burger fuel does really good kumina fries. your ones. Yeah. The orange kumera and it's crispy. Crispy. Crispy, a little bit soggy. Sog.
Starting point is 00:19:35 It's crispy and soggy? Crispy and soggy's a good combo. Perfect. Jamie said I voted vertical but only if I'm leaving it into two pieces. If I want it smaller, it'll be horizontal. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Says horizontal, so that's long ways.
Starting point is 00:19:50 If I need it to cook quicker, the center is less distance from the exterior. Wow. That's good thinking. Renee said longest cut first. So the first time she cuts it, she's going, horizontal the long way. That makes sense because then you've got a big flat area and there's not going to be the rolling around, is there?
Starting point is 00:20:06 I'm going to do a roast on Sunday. I'm just feeling it. What kind? I do chicken. Well, I could really have a lamb, man. I haven't done lamb all winter. It's not cheap. There's some lambs there's some lambs at the place next door and I look at them and I'm just like.
Starting point is 00:20:21 But it would last. So many of you, you wouldn't even notice. And you're eating evidence. Yeah, yeah. Disposing of the evidence. Yeah. Great. We have nothing behind.
Starting point is 00:20:29 What the F? Are you doing with a vertically cut potato, arts and crafts? Oh, Staniel? Yeah, potato stamps. Do you remember making potato stamps? Oh my God, yes. Ambley said, this is freaking me out because I don't know I'm going to have to go cut a potato and get back to you.
Starting point is 00:20:45 And just like muscle memory, yeah. Yeah. Martz, I change it up depending on my mood. I'm both unpredictable and chaotic, and this is the living proof in the potato. Yeah. or potato skins, horizontal or long ways. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's good potato.
Starting point is 00:21:04 It depends on the potato. Making great sense there, Michael. So today's the little poll is if you're cutting a potato and half which way you're cutting it, long ways or short ways, it's 50-50. The Fletch morning, Haley, big pod. Well, as we know, very sadly, Mel Schilling, who was the lovely expert on MAPS Australia,
Starting point is 00:21:24 passed away after a battle with cancer. Very sad. And the question, has been, we've known that Maff's the new season has been filming because that, what's his name? Maff's the dirty dog who we talked to who always goes and crashes the weddings. Oh, Josh Vox. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's been sharing that the weddings have been happening.
Starting point is 00:21:44 So everyone's going, who's the new Maff's expert to be joining a lovely friend John? And Alessandra, who wants to tell you to touch herself more? That's her. She's a sex therapist. I don't need anyone telling me that. Yeah, yeah, yours is a slightly different person. of feedback. It's been confirmed.
Starting point is 00:22:04 Her name is Mariam? Like Mariam, not Miriam. No. Great dictionary. Great dictionary. Big fan. I'm waiting for the word of the year, which should be any month now. Mariam, which is like as in Mary, which is kind of perfect. M-A-R-R-R-Y.
Starting point is 00:22:21 A-M. Go on. Mariam. Mariam. It's not spell like that. M-A-R-R-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-A-M-R-M-A-M-R-M. This is to be, to be totally honest, talking to you guys about how this word would be said is easily the most enjoyable aspect of maths for me.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Mariam Chal-Nabi, I mean, I'll say it's not a white name, and she's not white. So I've probably, I'm saying a wrong. Tell me more now you've got me. Through, through and through. So you, if you know, if you don't know her, she is a proper. a clinical psychotherapist as they all are. I mean, because everyone's like, you're not real therapist. And Jonathan's like, no, I'm a complete trained professional.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I gave up my license to be on the show. And so she would have had to give up her license to come on the show. She already did. She was the therapist on couples therapy, which is a US format that I love. You would have seen it on Instagram. It's Dr. Orner. She's like, this hippie who's like, tell me about this.
Starting point is 00:23:17 And it's a show where they have real life couples therapy sessions. Oh, yeah. And you can just watch them like fly on the wall. Wow. So she's the therapist of the Australian version of that, and she's come over. And she looks great. They've been doing a red carpet, the three of them all posing together and everything like that, and looking happy.
Starting point is 00:23:34 And yeah, she's a proper psychologist. She went to Sydney, bloody this thing and got this thing. And she works with addiction, relationship therapy, normal therapy, mental health, blah, blah, blah. Right. And so when the new season will be started next year like it always is? Yeah, it is. Yeah. So it'll be right, right.
Starting point is 00:23:53 hot in summer. Yep. Play ZM's FlashWorn and Haley. Well, this is a big break for friend of the show Jeremy Irvine, isn't I? It is actually nice to give a young fella a bit of a chance. How amazing. Use our platform to help him out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Now, producer Carwin, we went over to Sydney last week to speak to the cast of Outlander. Blood of My Blood, which is out tomorrow. Yep, neon tomorrow and then Skydrama on the 29th of September. Right. For those that don't know, what is it? Like, give us the synopsis. Basically, you have a couple, for Blood of My Blood, you have one couple who live in war times in England,
Starting point is 00:24:30 which is Jeremy's character and his wife. And then you have a couple that live in the Highlands in Scotland back in the, what did I say, 17th, 18th century. Yeah. And the couple in England time travel back to the 18th century. Yes. And find themselves in the Scottish Highlands. And it's a little steamy.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Oiecht. It's a little, it's quite Scottish. actually not a little Scottish and it's very fun. It's like a very easy dip your toe into a little fantastical situation, but it's not too crazy. There's no dragons or anything. Yeah, right. And you were saying that Jeremy is your mom or mom?
Starting point is 00:25:08 A little bit. I mean, he was in a movie called Fallen back in 2016, which is like the book Girlies Love. It's like they have wings and stuff. Does your fiancé know about this? Yeah, and he was like, wow. He was like, wow, like, you've got to play it a bit cooler than this. And I was like, oh, nah.
Starting point is 00:25:26 He was also young Sam in Mamma Mia, too, which is one of my favorite films. Yeah, he was. What a little hottie. Fredstone, he was in Treadstone. He was in Treadstone. Jason Bourne pre-cold. And the Stephen Spielberg movie with the horse. Remember the horse?
Starting point is 00:25:41 The war was a horse. War horse. It was all about the horse. It was all about the horse. And war. And war. And guess what? The horse went to war.
Starting point is 00:25:52 What? Well, Carlwin sat down with Outlander Blood of My Blood of My Blood Cast. I'm with Jeremy and Hermione. Jamie and Harriet from Outlander, Blood of My Blood. Ghost off, do you have a message for Fletch Von Hayley. I do. Thank you for sending your envoy.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Next time, we'd like you in person as well. But lovely to have Carl and her. She's doing a much better job, I think, than maybe they would. Who knows? I mean, I'll take that. It's been a long time since I've been on the show. Yes. I'll have to get you on to our podcast.
Starting point is 00:26:19 I would love to come on. They're very funny. He'd like him. What was the chemistry read like? Oh, it was great. It was kind of cosmic in a way, actually. Like, the stars aligned. It was very fortuitous that we were both able to be there on that day.
Starting point is 00:26:33 So it does feel like it was kind of meant to be. Yeah, we met each other, like 11 years. Yeah, maybe 12 years now. So when I came into the chemistry read, it was great because Jeremy had already been cast. So I walked in and I text him and be like, hey, see in a bit. And I was doing a lot of behind the scenes going, please, please, please, but he could be Hermione.
Starting point is 00:26:51 So, yeah, it was nice. Yeah, I guess the only weird thing is then you have to sort of create this. Actually, it doesn't, it's weirdly, you'd think, like, having to do romantic scenes with a friend to be weirder. But actually, it's way more comfortable because, like, we're both... It's easy, yeah. Yeah, there's no... And you can laugh about it as well. Exactly, I think the laughing is key.
Starting point is 00:27:09 We do a lot of, yeah. Longing is obviously, like, massively popular now the book Top Girlies are loving it, everyone on the internet, is looking for a man that longs. What's another romantic gesture? Kind of from the old times that you think should come back. We do a lot of letter writing, don't we? A lot of letter writing. That's quite cute.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I think that should come back. Opening the door would be nice all the time. I always open the door for you. Standing for women as they come into a room. My grandpa does that. Anytime woman comes in the room stands up. Does he? That's so cute.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Bring that back. I feel like you have to do that for everyone. I'm not standing up. Exactly, now is you for the rest of the day. No. Well, do you know what? Brian and Ellen don't do it, but Henry and Julia do it. They write letters to each other.
Starting point is 00:27:47 That is so romantic. And it's lovely. Like, actually having. a symbol of someone's love, a token that you can hold, and it's not a text message or whatever. It's like the effort, I think, that goes into writing a letter and also the personalisation of it, because you're actual handwriting and the permanence of it as well.
Starting point is 00:28:06 I think it's something so nice about holding something in your hands as opposed to it being digital. I don't know about you guys, but New Zealand postage is now very expensive. So if someone's taken that time and money to send a letter, you know, they mean it. You're like, they're rich, yeah, come on. If you could travel back in time to a specific moment, I don't mean like a time or like a historic thing, like a moment like the best sandwich you've ever had
Starting point is 00:28:27 or the best concert you've ever been to, what would you choose? I mean, I do remember like the first ever festival I went to. And I think I've been chasing that ever since. Yeah. It's never quite as good. Euphoric. Yeah, that's sort of feeling.
Starting point is 00:28:39 But like the first time you ever went somewhere. Yeah, like when you... I'm trying to think of the countries I've been to where I've been like... I love that feeling of when you're in a completely different culture and it feels all new and like... Yeah. I think those moments for me. I think had that in Sri Lanka.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I think that was pretty magical. There was a time where I first went to Venice in Italy, 2018, I think it was. And I specifically remember sitting in this little alley with a glass of white wine, perfectly chilled with my family, and I think that's probably the most peaceful I've ever been. And I took a picture of that, and I go back to that picture all the time, and I remember exactly how everything in life was just, okay.
Starting point is 00:29:19 I go back, right? Oh, perfect. You just think of it sandwiches, no right? Yeah, I'm so genuinely trying to work out the best sandwich I've ever had, and I think it's peanut butter. White bread and an apple on the side and cheese and onion crisps. I hope that's. I love cheese and onion.
Starting point is 00:29:32 I do love cheese. You learn that the hard way. Thank you so much for kidding to me. Thank you. You'll have to visit New Zealand soon. I know. When of my best friends lives, though, I need to go. And when I do, I want an invite to the show, please.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Anytime. Great. Thank you, Karl. I know. I appreciate that. It's me. Yeah. The Z&M Podcast Network
Starting point is 00:29:51 Play ZM's Fletch Worn and Haley Fletch Wren and Haley. It's news to Fletch, he's on antibiotics that he's probably going to get thrush. You don't always get thrush. Basically, like, honestly, like 80% of the time when you're on antibiotics. Your vagina gets a bit of thrush.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Are you sort of looking after you? I mean, I think I'm looking after it, yeah. Let's bring in the girlies on this. It's almost a guarantee, isn't it? Like, it just absolutely... Wait, man. Wait, man, flush. I'll give you some of my flora restorer.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Flora restora. Yeah, from... Do we have any $20 chemist warehouse about just left? Yeah. That's where you get it from. You need some flora restore because your pH of your post is going to be going off. Wow.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Producer Shannon's unpredictable history. A segment of the show where producer Shannon takes us on a trip down history. And it's not a fable or a tale. This is real life. Well, we did touch on The Odyssey once. Yeah, well, I'm going history based off historical text. And for those that don't know,
Starting point is 00:31:00 we mention this every time we do the segment. Shannon is a huge history buff. She will go to sleep, listening to a history documentary. She lives her days watching trash and her evenings watching either true crime or history documents. Or Nazis.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Yeah, and I've been big into drugs at the moment, not taking. Sorry, we just start to do that. again. Your flora, restorer and stuff like that. I watched a very interesting documentary about the rise of why fentanyl has taken over and fentanyl versus heroin. Very interesting
Starting point is 00:31:28 stuff. Which one are we going for? I thought it was neither. Neither. Neither. But just why it's a crisis and all that. But anyway, today, we're going back to Scotland, to the Highlands and the 1,200s. Like Highland Highland. If only I could do an accent, I would, but... Go, come on, give it a go.
Starting point is 00:31:44 These are one the ones we're allowed to. Can you give me something to, like, drop in? What is going? Ah, hey the knee. That's good. That's good. Like, say, right laddie. Right laddie.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Right, aye. Okay, maybe die, right. Don't do the accent. Just do Shrek. Say, where is my kilt? Where's right? Get out of my swat. Yeah, get out of my swat.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Okay, we'll go accentless. He's not good at accents. No, no. So today we're talking about Alexander the 3rd. He was a king in the 1200s. Now, today we're talking about. a main character who was a good guy is he hot?
Starting point is 00:32:20 No, not hot. They're never hot, eh? No. Hang on, I'm just going to Google his face. I would follow up. Alexander the Great. He was kind of one of the early Alexander's video.
Starting point is 00:32:29 You say not hot, but I'm like... Well, he probably had a castle. Of Russia. No, no, no, we're talking Scotland. There's lots of Alexander's in history. So you've got to go, Alexander the third Scotland. Oh, Scotland. Scotland.
Starting point is 00:32:40 I just like to have a picture. Not hot. Yeah. He's a man. He's got one of those. No, the Russian one was quite attractive. He fell into the same. But no, so Alexander became the king when he was seven
Starting point is 00:32:52 And he was such a good king, man He bought them through the Golden Age He got steam power, there was like medical stuff Just a all up good king He didn't get steam power, he didn't get steam power They didn't have that until like that No, he like, there was a lot of developments I mean steam power and like they were doing like
Starting point is 00:33:08 Basic hydraulics, not like hydraulics like robots But you know what I mean Anyway Those robodog dogs Yeah They're like slip and battle Yeah And he invented the state, gave every household a steam mop.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Yes. And his clothes, no wrinkles. Yeah, yeah. And his yonnie, steamed. Yeah. No thrush for that guy. And he famously... Wait, should I be steaming it?
Starting point is 00:33:31 Don't steam. No, no, no, doctors came down and said, we're not steaming our yonnie. And he didn't have really any wars under him. He was just a good old king. He married his wife when he was 10 and his wife was 11. We're going to breeze past that. Of the times. Of the times.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Of the time. At least he was 10, she was 11, so she was a cougar at 10. But we're going to move on. Right. But she would have also been the daughter of some other loyalty. It's messy. But they had three kids and it was very exciting because he produced male ears,
Starting point is 00:33:59 which obviously is kind of the whole point of being a king. My ears are genderless. Really? They're attached to a male, but they are non-binary ears. They're monies. What are their pronouns? Those ears. Those ears.
Starting point is 00:34:11 Them ears. Them ears. Yeah, okay. Them ears. My ears are cold. They are cold. Right. Non-bony.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Yes. Okay. Tragedy struck, though, because sadly Margaret and all three of his kids died. Oh, no! Individual events, just pure coincidence. All of his kids and wife, gone. Cursed. The woman used to die.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Like that. Willie, nearly back in the day. How did they die? Was it a childbirth? No, they kind of said like... Fleur. A horse and carriage on the M1. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Margaret of England. No, they just kind of individually died. They don't really get into it. They got a child. She died from a cardiac problem. Oh, no. was Princess Margaret. Yeah, look, there's a lot of, you know, anyway,
Starting point is 00:34:50 he then had to remarry because he's got to produce a male ear that's kind of the whole point to being a king. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he marries this woman called Yoland, and they're like... That was the name of one of my therapists. Oh. She taught me how to breathe properly. Was, is she not your therapist anymore?
Starting point is 00:35:04 She don't want to deal with me anymore. She moved me on to Virginia. Now, Alexander was out on a lad's night with his friends. He was at Edinburgh Castle. Yeah. I've marched there. Have you? Multiple times.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Incredible. Well, Alexander was there. His new wife, Yoland, was at another castle having just like some girl time. And Alexander gets a bit randy. He's like, I've had a few drinks. I'm feeling a landy. I need to make a male ear. Like, we need a child.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Like, I've got to, you know, go procreate. I've got to put this somewhere. Now, it was like the worst weather ever. It was really rainy. Yeah. And his. courtsman said, and I quote, how many times have I tried to persuade you that
Starting point is 00:35:49 midnight travelling will do you no good? Baby it's cold outside. I really can't stay. I really must go. So he's feeling a bit Randy. He's had a few drinks and they said whatever you do, don't go outside. Don't go to her castle. The weather's terrible. And he says I'm going to
Starting point is 00:36:05 a hurt castle. I simply must appropriate. So he hops on his horse and he starts trotting along and whoosh, huge gust of wind. What happens? Him and his horse fall a cliff. A cliff. Plot twist. Plot twist. And this is the
Starting point is 00:36:21 unpredictable history. He died doing a midnight booty call. Oh my God. We've all felt that level of horn, though, eh? When you have had a couple and you're like, yeah. How far away do they live? Far out, man. Get me my horse. That's a hundred dollar Uber.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Are they worth $100? Oh, it's 2 a.m. Oh, God. Okay, I'll do it. So he literally then dies, leaves no male ears. An adjacent granddaughter then has to become queen at the age of three years old. And this sends Scotland into disarray. They fall into a huge war with England. And it ended the golden age of Scotland.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Because this one king was a bit excited. Was Randy after a couple of bruskies? Yeah. The lesson, the moral of the story is just play with yourself. Play with yourself. You make terrible decisions when you're horny. So if you're contemplating a big choice and you're a little bit horny, pop into your castle and play with yourself.
Starting point is 00:37:17 So we should do it before a date. Get one out. Emgy the chamber. Clear head. Just a bit of clarity post. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Post, you get a bit of clarity. You might not even want to go on the date after that, you know?
Starting point is 00:37:29 Nah. Why are we going on this date again? People rush into some terrible decisions when that horny. That was really great unpredictable history. Even though he did die and a horse died as well. Well, the world's most dangerous booty call. Yeah, brilliant.
Starting point is 00:37:42 The Z&M Podcast Network. George is joining us. Just have a little bit of fun. Thrush is contagious. Since when? It's stress contagious? I don't think so. I'm going to have thrush.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Fletch has vaginal thrush. We've all had it. It's fine. Are you itchy this morning? No. No, he's on antibiotics and they said, watch your poose. I've literally been on antibiotics. I've taken two pills and Haley's going to tell him I'm getting thrush.
Starting point is 00:38:06 Smare that? Vaughn. It does smell in here. I would say. I thought it was just. It's a horse. breakfast. If you would like to send
Starting point is 00:38:18 thoughts and press to Fletcher's Fannie, please do a nice. It's his first time dealing with thrush. Keyword Fannie to 96-96. Can I just say thrush is normal?
Starting point is 00:38:26 Thrush is normal. Frush is so normal. Especially on the back of antibiotics. We've all had the cream self-composite. It's fine. You just go like that and you just leave it, lie down,
Starting point is 00:38:36 go to bed. It's fine. Do it at night though. When you forgot you got to do it during the day and you're up vertical and you're like, well, you're like,
Starting point is 00:38:43 oh. Oh no! Okay, we want to talk now. 0,800, Georgia, 0,800,000. 9-6-6, do you have a go-to hype song? Your one song, it doesn't matter how old it is, how many times you hear it is, your one... It might not even be the genre you usually listen to.
Starting point is 00:39:04 Yeah, because... So Jacinta Arduans, she was being interviewed and was asked during those hard times... By the mainstream media, I bet. Tagsinda. During those hard times when she had to come out every bloody day and disappoint a nation basically
Starting point is 00:39:19 because of COVID, what would she do to prepare for those big conferences, those midday 1pm presses. She would hype up backstage like you were coming out to perform you know what amazing. Us for example when we do FVH live
Starting point is 00:39:38 we listen to you hire by creed and it just gets us going. The irony of it, Georgia, that picks us up. It's not the irony anymore. It's not the irony anymore. It's definitely the joy. It's the joy. We started ironically listening to it now authentically like it.
Starting point is 00:39:52 But this was Jacinders, was Stars by Shapeshift. She's just back getting loose. I'm about to destroy summer. Here we go. Three more weeks are level four. Gotta put a roadblock on stay highway one. Masked at the supermarket. She's just like getting ready.
Starting point is 00:40:13 So we want to look, this is mine. This isn't, this isn't the most hype shape-shipped a song. I was just going to say, it's the most niche, shape-y song you can pass. This is a great hype song. Even if you're not into like heavy, you love it. What is this song? It's just moving down. No, it's disturbed. Oh, it's disturbed.
Starting point is 00:40:29 You'd miss the best bit. No, I haven't. Oh, shit. Oh, so he said shit. Don't worry about it. That's okay. There's no F's until later in the song. You've got to hear this bit.
Starting point is 00:40:37 Fletch loud. This bit. It's coming. It's coming. Come on, up the wires. Here it is. Here it is. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Georgia is in shock. This is why she's leaving to run a country station. Yeah, I'm surprised I'm not going to Hodackie to be fair. Georgia, what's your hype song? Smack that. Acon. What? I love Acon.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Acoe needed more of a moment. He needed more of a moment, I'll say. I think he had all the moments he deserved. He got a lot of moments. Yeah, boys, here we go. Sorry. Is he swears? We're in this together.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Is he swears? I mean, there's a good song. Yeah, there's swears in this, but it's all right. Oh, Eminem's best. Yeah, because you've got the two of the icons. You've got Slim, Shady, and A-Con. Yeah. Okay, well, this is what we want to know this morning.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Text us, 9-696. Oh, 800,000. What is your high-pump song? Maybe you use it before a big moment at work. When you're nervous. Or a big life event when you're nervous. Or just when you're like, it's Friday. We're going out.
Starting point is 00:41:32 We're getting ready. Yeah. Oh, my God. Guys. And he's had a hell of a week. Oh, Maclemore. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:40 That hikes you. That builds you. Does anyone remember the movie, Honey? Yeah, and it's like, I believe, I will. So when I would do any sports competition, that was the song. I put my headphones on in the back of the car and I'm like, I believe, I will. Who sings that?
Starting point is 00:41:56 Who sings that? I actually don't know. Okay, 9696-0800, Diles at Em is the number. What's your hype song? We're going to play it. Annette, one of my all-time most hated bands, is one of your go-to songs. Yes, it is. What is it?
Starting point is 00:42:13 Money, money, money. By Ab. I do that before I go shopping. Is it to remind you not to spend so much money, money, money, Annette? Yes, it does. Okay, yeah, that's good. I have some pelton horses here. Yeah, it's great.
Starting point is 00:42:31 I love Emma. You are so homophobic. And you're Swedish phobic. Yeah, that's definitely it. Yeah, that's a sweet. I think it's homophobia if you don't like Abba. Great song in here. Thanks a man.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Let's go to Kendall. Kendall. What's your go-to, pick-me-up song? Morena team, it's got to be absolutely everybody. Oh, my God. You can't not be hoped. I'm hyped by this song. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:57 Okay. Are you going out tonight, Kendall? Is this going to be playing? No, no. I am a Nana these days, Haley. Oh, I will be indoors, but I'll be playing it on the way to work, for sure. Yeah, good. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:09 Here it is. It's getting started. Yeah, it's one of those things. It's hard not to just be listed up by it. You show us. Yeah. Good song. Thank you, Kendall.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Steph, what's your go-to pick-me-up song? Hi, mine is Pitbull Hey Baby with T-Pang. Oh, hey, baby. Okay. I had Pitbull Fireball or line up because someone on the text machine said Pitbull any time, anytime, any day. The text machine is inundated with Pit Bull. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:36 He really is. He's just having, like, more of a moment, eh? Yeah. Does he still have that stadium named after him? I think so. The football stadium? Remember a pit bull stadium? Fantastic. Thank you, Steph.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Messages. I love this out of. Some text messages. There's so many. Some other songs in here. Hold on. Let me go back to my playlist. Can you pull up my thing while he's doing that?
Starting point is 00:44:01 Hang on. Someone listens as their hype song to the last of the Mohicans. Oh. This is their like, I'm getting ready to head out. You know what I mean? They're really hitting it. The last of the Mohican soundtrack. You've marched to this before.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Just like, you know, like, kind of like I'm going to bloody punch it in there. Fletch has given this as an ABBA look. I'm giving it an ABBA look. Yeah. Oh, banger. De-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-a-de-de. Semi-Trilein. My guy's rapping in pop songs.
Starting point is 00:44:34 It was a thing. Yeah. It was a thing. Oh, yeah. Unstoppable by Sia. We've got a bit of a playlist going. Not up enough. Not up enough.
Starting point is 00:44:42 No, it gets up, though. It does. It does. And it's the message of it as well. Yeah. Pitball and J-Lo on the floor. Oh, yeah, nice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Is one of these going to be your Friday flashback? Have you settled on a Friday flashback here? I haven't settled on a Friday flashback here. Yeah, but there's some great songs because I've always got to hit Friday flashback with a bit of energy. You do. I've got one in my text machine here. Evanescence. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:07 Bring me to life. Sometimes you need a bit of heaviness to get going. This bit. Yeah. Very good. Keep your text coming in. 9-6-96. You'll go to hype songs.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Our text machine is insane. It is blowing up. We're pages deep in this thing. But Sean has called us. Hey, Sean. Sean. From Drax Project, Sean. You didn't even choose one of your own songs?
Starting point is 00:45:41 No. Of course not. I don't get hype. It's not hype for me, but Golden Horse. It gets me hype. What golden horse? What do you mean what golden horse? Maybe tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Of course maybe tomorrow. Golden Horse is the greatest thing in the band of all time. That's an insane statement, Sean. It's a bold and insane thing. It's a great song. It's a great song. Tell that to Crowded House. Well, I mean, I would actually.
Starting point is 00:46:08 I think Golden Horse are the greatest thing down a bad at a balladable time. You would sit down the Finn brothers, look them dead in the eye and say, appreciate the effort. This is your high. I get much to, I guess. I get Machu in from 660. I get Joel from Laby. I sit them all down.
Starting point is 00:46:23 I say, by the way, guys. Suck it. You've got nothing on Goldenhawk. Hey, Lady Hawk. You're trying to have some war over here? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Crazy. Hey, Dave Dobbin, suck it.
Starting point is 00:46:34 Oh, royal. Basically, that's what I would say. I mean, I wouldn't say it. I would just say it nicely, but yeah. Now, you say, hey, Lord, you ain't nothing but shit in my shoe. It can be to Golden Horse. I just feel like Golden Horse needs a comeback, and I don't know when, or how, but...
Starting point is 00:46:50 So if you ever see people listening to Drax Project, your own band, are you like, why you listen to that crap? You're going to wrap your ears around some golden horse. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:58 I mean, it's a very happy song, isn't it? It's a very happy song. It's a very happy song. It's a mood. You could cry to this movie. We're a big golden horse fan in the Dax Project camp.
Starting point is 00:47:11 I love this. I love this. Sean, thank you. Have a great weekend. Some messages in. Also, we're in a late edition. We've got to put tub thumping on. Oh, a bit of time pumping.
Starting point is 00:47:20 I was going to say someone messaged in a little bit of POD. Oh, wow, okay. Yeah. We're just from the lovely tones of golden horse. Yeah, to the heavy tones of POD. And not even Youth of the Nation. Boom instead. Hit me.
Starting point is 00:47:38 Oh, it's this bloody start intro bit they put on weirdly. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Here we go. Here we go. Yeah, it's a classic pick-me-up song. It's like Cretus said done the full loop. Has, yeah. We never got sick of it.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Somebody said this one, Thunderstruck. Yeah, overused and cliche. They're an eye of the tiger. For anything sports, stop it. We've had lots of Eye of the Tiger. We've also had this and someone says, as a white woman. This gets me going. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:15 It's a pick me up. They always played at the Warriors' halftime games when they do a Pookana camp. They never come to me. You've got a good Pookana on your mate I've approved it. Oh yeah, the time. Yeah, you do right now. I think from a distance
Starting point is 00:48:28 so you don't look like you could do a good Pukana. No, no, I don't. I don't look like it. Okay. Somebody said, Twisted Sisters I want to rock. Oh yeah. Just it just dropped straight in. Here you're building.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Heard from some Star Wars fans, Jewel of the Fates. Next. Nice. I've got one on the go. I don't, you just didn't even get to jewel in the face. He's DJing between the two laptops. We have it a battle.
Starting point is 00:48:46 Yeah. Battle of the Hype songs. Anything Vinger Boys someone messaged in. We like to party. Okay, what about this one? All right. You gotta keep on rolling, baby. Lotta Limp Biscuit.
Starting point is 00:48:56 You know what harmony is. Cheers. Okay, there's swear words coming. This one? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you have any others? Yeah, hang on, hang on. Have you never seen that girl in the Red Bulls studio
Starting point is 00:49:09 rapping over the Venga boys? Gives a whole new life to that song. Share, strong enough. Some classic share. A bit of a power ballad there, but... I've got some classic Shania. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:20 Boom, let's go, girls. You're putting a door down. Yeah. If I was a woman, I'd boot a door out every time I heard it. What about this one? Now, this is problematic because they do. Oh, it builds us. It's a slow build, but it's money for nothing from die of straight.
Starting point is 00:49:32 Yeah, but I'm worried about where I'm going to drop it in there because he does use the X-Flur. He uses the slur. What about this one? Yeah, yeah, yeah, slur. Yeah. X-on-old. Yeah. That's good.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Good, sweet. It's good. What about this guy? What about this guy? Bami-m-m-Bing. Black-beddy? Yeah. Oh, back-bed-bed-ed.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Amping. Yep. This one's for you, Fletch. This one came in on the text machine, but an apunk from Vampire Weekend. Oh, I love Vampire Weekend. Now this one, if you put this on, I'm not mad.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Oh, no, no, no. You derail this roller coaster. Easy listening, the breeze. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's, Fletch, Worn and Haley. Fletch, you and I were a little bit suspicious yesterday. Bad day to be my underwear. Sorry, someone's just messaging.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Bad day to be my underwear. They shit themselves. What do you reckon? Or they're dancing so much. They're sweating already. 34-year-old male, by the way. Bad day to be my underwear after that. Does he need to watch out about thrush?
Starting point is 00:50:33 He might have thrush too. Does he have vaginal thrush? Yeah, yeah. Oh no, you can get penal thrush, but you've got the vaginal time. I don't have thrush. He does. He's on antibiotics. It's unavoidable.
Starting point is 00:50:44 Now, yesterday, Fletch, you and I were like hunting for electric ab. We're going to go see Kings of Leon. Yes. And everyone was like, it's not sold out. Yeah, but it's gonna. So we're not dilly-dallying. Because they sold 30,000 tickets when they announced the date. And no line-up.
Starting point is 00:51:00 15 more. Yeah, so the tickets that are going on sale next week are 15,000. That's it. Those are going to go in 0.25 seconds. Yeah, and we know the lineup now, and so that's just going to go crazy. We bought flights, ACOM, everything, because we're huge Kings of Leon fans.
Starting point is 00:51:16 Yes. And then we didn't have tickets. So we just put it out onto my Instagram, you know, can we get some tickets? And one of my lovely followers' message and said, yes, and you know, I'll send you the things. And then you were immediately like, are we going to get scammed?
Starting point is 00:51:31 Because you know, Haley is the queen of scams. I got scams for Slipknot. Yeah, and it was like, you do this and you go in this account and sign in here and then you're going to do it. Yeah, and didn't you also nearly get scammed again yesterday? Yeah, this is what I'm talking about because we didn't get scammed.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Those tickets are real. Yes. So what's the scam then? So I was like, me, I'm spending a day thinking I didn't get scammed. The whole morning. Oh wait, the guard is down. Dude, my guard's down. I was like, we avoided the scam.
Starting point is 00:52:02 She's legit. I know people that know her. Oh, you know people that know her. It's through ticket decks. We're going to do it properly. Like, an exchange of tickets and all the stuff. Okay, great. I was like, babes, you've made my date.
Starting point is 00:52:11 Guards down. Nobody's scamming me today. Wait, but when are we giving you the money? When the tickets come through on ticket debt? Like, it's a proper thing. She has to go first. Yeah, bitch. But then what if she goes first
Starting point is 00:52:21 and we don't pay her. That's it. We're scamming her. We could save some money here. Well, you know, I do know the producers. If they get us free tickets, I won't tell her. Anyway, so I'm spending the day thinking we didn't get scammed, right? And then I'm in my garage, and I've been doing a bit of demo and stuff in there.
Starting point is 00:52:39 And there's a couple of little bits and pieces that are like not, you wouldn't really take them to the sally. It's like some old wallpaper that I didn't end up using or extra tiles that I didn't use. And it's really good stuff. but I'm not going to use it, so I'm Facebook marketplace. There's always a great way to find. Cheap tiles, you can still get them here. If you're looking for these tiles, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:52:59 Someone messages me. Hey, love this. Is this available? Yep, can I pick up on Saturday? Perfect. Nice. We'll exchange cash. I'm not getting scanned.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Yeah. I'm selling things left right and sent. I'm thinking this is a good day. The garage is getting empty. And I've got these tiles. These big kind of slabs of mosaic tiles that had too much of. And a woman messages me. She's like, hi.
Starting point is 00:53:19 She's got plenty of friends on Facebook. Hi, hi, hi, hi. how are you? Yeah, yeah, good, good, good. She said, oh my God, these are the tiles. I need a couple more for my bathroom. You're selling them so much cheaper. You know, would you be open if I organise shipping
Starting point is 00:53:29 to send them down to Nelson? Here we go. I was like, yeah, if you organise it to get them all picked up and everything like that, that's totally fine. She's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then sends me the link to go to NZ post and you do that and you put in your credit card details
Starting point is 00:53:40 and they give you the 80 bucks to, you know? Yeah. So I'm in there putting in my number four. Doon, d-da, Haley, Haley, Haley, Haley, whoa, stop! I'm getting scammed again. I'm getting scammed on a day where I was like, gasoline. Didn't we literally talk about the New Zealand Post scam a week ago? And here I was.
Starting point is 00:54:06 I reckon I was like two digits away. Wow. So the scam, if you don't know the scam, the New Zealand Post warned about this website, it looks exactly like their website would look. The giveaway is, and when you are just, it's just, it just gets you, I've been scammed so many times.
Starting point is 00:54:22 And it just gets, I mean, I've got, you're very like, tizzy brain, but like, I, I just click the link and then you just go. Autopilot. Yeah, of course, NZPost, of course she's picking this up. Like, of course. But then you just look at the URL
Starting point is 00:54:36 that is not nzpost.como. NZ4 slash courier. Like, it's just not. Anyway, so I stopped it. I managed to stop. But I just got into such a bloody tizze about that. Did you message back scammy, bitch? I said scammie bitch.
Starting point is 00:54:49 You're scammie bitch. Absolutely. No response either. Rude. So these friends, how many friends did you have? Because you said... She had 700 friends. So it looked like a legit Facebook.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. See, that's the thing. A picture of her and a kid? Do you think she's just dumb? And she's using her own Facebook to run the scam? I don't know. Did you report it? Yeah, reported.
Starting point is 00:55:10 Yeah, reported and blocked and all that kind of stuff. You'd put in reason? Scammy bitch. Lami. I said she's a scammy bitch and I told her to go, herself. Anyway. Like, I was seconds away.
Starting point is 00:55:20 You've just got to be so careful. I know. So on a day where I was like on high because we didn't get ticket scammed, I was a digit away from getting credit card scammed. Again. Sometimes I think you need to run this past morning. Do you know, do you sometimes think that I need a chaperone?
Starting point is 00:55:37 Sometimes. Sometimes a little bit. When are your parents back? November 2nd. We'll watch your talk then. Work ZM's flesh, Forne and Haley. Play ZM. I accidentally found myself in the midst of a girl dinner last night.
Starting point is 00:55:55 How'd you end up there? Because you're more of a meal man. I'm a meal man. I'm a meal mate, meal mate, man. How good it's a meal mate, eh? Is that the reason, is that the thing we're talking about later in the show as to why dinner was late? Oh, one of the many.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Okay. One of the many. But dinner was a little skewerf yesterday. So I just said to Indy, because it's just been mean to her this week, because August is on school camp. I was like... Do you and Amy break up? What's that?
Starting point is 00:56:20 Did you and Amy break up? No? Yeah. What's that? You say you and Indy or week. Get the rumours going. No, no, no, no. Oh yes, girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:56:28 No, no, no. She's got her own house. Yeah, no, she does. We don't spend every night together. That's crazy neither. Give you one of these. Give me a look over the glasses. We'll tell one.
Starting point is 00:56:39 We've done one. You've done one night apart. Yeah. Did you talk to the therapist about that? Yeah. Is it an attachment issue? Is it anxious attachment? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:48 I honestly feel like you should record your sessions. It'll be great listening. I say sometimes, yeah, we do a night apart every now and then. And she was like, how does that feel? I said, well, usually I'll text him and be like, come over. So last night, I said it's got to be simple. Are you all good with sausages? She's like, yeah, love sausages.
Starting point is 00:57:08 And I was like, I've got some chips. And she's like, great. And so then I was like, but I've also got like two avocados that aren't going to be around forever. Got to do those. Some other. And some broccoli. And she's like, this is the weirdest dinner ever. I was like, it'll be all right.
Starting point is 00:57:21 It's going to look good on the plate. Yeah. Why? But then it just happened to be a girl dinner because everything was ready at a different time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So some stuff took longer. The guacamole and the hot chips were ready at the same time. So we ate the chips.
Starting point is 00:57:36 With guac. Hot chips. Hot chips is gullok. I mean, this sounds like a bougie girl dinner because girl dinner is more like... A boiled egg. A slice of ham. Yeah. It was just what I had there.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Yeah. Right, slopped up. Did you make the guac nice though? Did you guac it up? You got coriander and lemon and salt and pepper and stuff. I was so stoked with how good this quok came out for a quok on the spot. Yeah, got a spot quok. A spot quack.
Starting point is 00:58:03 A little spot quack. I'm just going to stroll back to find the photo. Well, it's not going to work on the radio. Oh, yeah, that's a good guack. Perfect. That's a good guac. And you had it with hot chips. Hot chips and guop rules.
Starting point is 00:58:15 And then that's what it was. It was Brussels sprouts that I had. So roasted Brussels sprouts and the sausages were in So the fat from the sausages got into the Brussels sprouts. It's not a girl dinner. No, but it's like, there's no. There's no structure or and she went away. There was a break.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Right. There was a break between the hot chips of the guack. Yeah, nice. She came back and then we ate it off the tray. Yeah, beautiful. We ate the sausages and the brush and sprut off the tray with the four peach. She didn't know what girl dinner was like, this is a weird dinner. I was like, I think this is called girl dinner.
Starting point is 00:58:43 We're just going to pick it, whatever we had. It was just like what we had around. Like fridge clear out. Yeah. Oh my God. So good. My dad was the best at a fridge clean-out meal growing up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:53 He'd just be like, right, what we got? And you'd be like, nothing. There's nothing in that. And he's like, cracks in that. Leave it with me. Something frozen's in the back. Yeah. Yep.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Get out the electric fry pan? Always. Dad's love an electric fry pan. Yeah. And you'd come back and there'd be something edible. I actually was wondering on the electric fry pan thing. I've got mine, right? But my kitchen's just not big enough to store it.
Starting point is 00:59:14 And I was like, do I get rid of it? I barely ever use it. I think I should bring it into studio. I'd be all for an election. Because sometimes we sit here and in the songs we go, man I want some eggs. Yeah, I can bring in the eggs.
Starting point is 00:59:24 I'll bring in the fry pan. Fletch? Fletch, what are you adding? You get a nice salad? No, I don't want that studio smelling of eggs. Got some butter? Are you going to bring butter? What are you contributing?
Starting point is 00:59:33 You're not getting our eggs if I've brought the fry pan. He's put the eggs. I love girl dinner. Yeah, it was a real pick-a-part. It worked well. She was like, we should do this again. Yeah. Also, plates?
Starting point is 00:59:44 What plates? Yeah. I just chucked the oven tray in the sink. it's still there. Yeah, yeah, and it will be there for two more days. The Gwock was like almost finished. You saw that big bowl. That was almost all gone, but I was like, I'm not re-containing that.
Starting point is 00:59:55 Gladrapp over the top. That whole plate's in the fridge, taking up way more room than it needs to. Yeah, yeah, I love that. It'll be brown. It'll be brown when you get home. No, what? You won't either. Good whack of lime juice in it.
Starting point is 01:00:04 Okay. So that might keep it. Second day guop doesn't hurt. No, you've got to eat it on the day. Fresh guack. I'll eat the gullop. Play Zat M's Fletch, Vaughn and Haley. Fact of the Day
Starting point is 01:00:14 Day Day Day Day Day Depth weeker at a Ginnu to do to dodo to dodo to do do to do do do to do do to do to do to do to do to In Trang and Thailand in 2013 Hirauki and Sandra got married. They're both diving instructors and they got married 130 metres down in a flooded cave.
Starting point is 01:00:48 Oya. Not only even open ocean. Is that where the Thai school group went missing? Around there? Maybe. Tire's got lots of caves. Yeah. Trang rings of ballet.
Starting point is 01:00:59 It's the... It still remains the Guinness World Record for the deepest underwater wedding. So they trained... They were both divers, but they had to, like, learn the cave and stuff. and for six months they did technical dive training. Where's the guests? They're up on the surface.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Here's the thing. You know how the bride and groom take off of photos? And you're like, yeah. Come on. Taping your watch. You're like, let's get this reception started. I have eaten two of these tiny little cracker things and I'm on to my eighth glass of bubbles.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Yeah, dude. And it's hot. This is a recipe for disaster. I've got like sunstroke. Yeah, yeah. And a lot of women here aren't wearing underpants because they were wearing silk dresses. They go backwards off this bench sitting.
Starting point is 01:01:36 We're going to see, Vajumina. It's going to be a far china exposed at the wedding. So they disappeared for a long time because on the way back up, they had to do three hours of decompression because, of course, you don't want the bends. No.
Starting point is 01:01:48 What three hours? Yeah. So they had helium in their tanks, and you'd think this is a Guinness World Record. There's literally documentation of it. There's a video of it, but they don't have them doing the vows. Oh.
Starting point is 01:02:00 Because of the helium in their tanks, their breathing. I left there so much. It left their vow with a chipmunks, week. So the rings, losing the ring was a big problem. You're my best friend. Losing the rings was a big problem. You haven't had them on a string. They had them on a string and they had them tied to the best man. Sorry, no, no, no, no. They had the rings on them. The best man stayed up and he lowered the
Starting point is 01:02:33 thing bit by bit. The best man's like, I'm not doing this. This is a insane. You guys are down there for four hours. Yeah. So they got the rings on, they got married, they had to do the decompression on the way back up and they came back up to the surface that everybody was tanked. I bet. Yeah, can't just go to a vineyard and get married like everybody else. Oh, lovely. Is you guys left was four hours? No food on this boat. Did you guys drink all the champagne? Not so many of my house. Up from the diamond ore. So today's fact of the day for Depth Week is that the world's
Starting point is 01:03:04 deepest wedding had 100, happened, 130. meters below the surface in a flooded cave system in Thailand. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day. Now, we want to know what is the little secret that your partner doesn't know about you. Maybe it's a habit or something that you're yet to reveal. there's a woman every Wednesday her partner goes to darts that's what it is off and trots and she's like I'm going to stay home
Starting point is 01:03:41 probably just like cook something and watch the TV she gets non-aise she gets macos why is she worried about him finding out I don't think she's worried he's probably ripping some chips at the house I don't think it's that she's worried or he's monitoring what she's adding
Starting point is 01:03:54 I think it's more just like she's just a little private little secret and I know that is she is sitting there with a giant like it's a big order the order is like she's got a primary burger a secondary burger and nugs.
Starting point is 01:04:07 And then big drink and chrives. And a pie. Do she have a Sunday? She's having a little Wednesday pig out. Yeah, I love that. And it's not that she has to keep it secret. It's like she likes to. Because, but then if she had to do that with him,
Starting point is 01:04:18 it would cost twice as much as well. And he's probably like, oh, should we get McDonald's. And she's like, no, no, come on. We're behaving. We're watching our money. And then he goes, he's like, oh, I'm getting it all. Yeah. I feel like mums do this a lot when they just need some time out.
Starting point is 01:04:30 They just have some secret little time out. Absolutely. And, you know, deservedly so. Yeah, say we're going to an appointment and then just sit in the car and cry. Yeah. So is there something that your partner doesn't know about a little habit or something you do on the slide? You can call anonymously as well. Maybe it's a hot toy boy that you've got.
Starting point is 01:04:47 I don't know. Oh, no. That's cheating on your partner. We're not really. I can't draw the line at cheating. Oh, okay. All right, fine. The little secret that you're keeping from your partner.
Starting point is 01:04:56 Okay. Cheating, having a whole other family feels. We are also on Instagram. Oh, my God. Oh, no, the texts are coming in sick and fast. Okay, this is great. We'll go with Instagram. We'll go with Instagram responses first.
Starting point is 01:05:07 My partner doesn't know I have credit card debt. Well, that's going to be fun. Interesting. When you go to buy something together? That's the thing if you ever try to get a car on finance or a house, they're going to do the research, aren't they? She's my husband? No, they didn't say just I have credit card debt.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Oh, right, right, right. Because that's what we asked. Somebody else said that I slept with an old friend of his before we were together. He doesn't know that. I don't think we need to. I don't think we need to know. No one needs to know. My partner doesn't know that I'm fiercely child-free.
Starting point is 01:05:37 But my partner doesn't know I now think I might be ready to have his baby. Help me. No, run. What? My partner doesn't know I want to leave and I hate his family, but I'm pretty sure he loves me but he's not in love with me. Yes, yeah. Sometimes they need a wake up, like a push.
Starting point is 01:05:54 After that long, is anyone ever really that in love? No. Other than my parents, yeah. My partner doesn't know I love a cheeky vape. Holy moly, you're ready to be. from Instagram the text machine. I've got one more for Instagram, but it's going to need to be a little bit of a read between the lines.
Starting point is 01:06:10 Okay. Oh shit, the glasses are off. The glasses are off. Okay, go. My partner doesn't know that I want to let's say, how do you put it clothes on the clothes line? What keeps them on there? Pigs. Bingo. Him.
Starting point is 01:06:28 He wants it. No, no. She wants to do it. Oh, to him. I think we just have It's just a little chat I wish Morgan was here I don't know how you bring I don't know how you just bringing that up Hey should we
Starting point is 01:06:40 Maybe watch a little together No it be like three to one Say what we want to do to each other No no no no no Three two one do it Yeah he'll be like Tung curse And she'll be like
Starting point is 01:06:49 Pigs Want to put you on the washing line Well maybe you could be doing the washing together and pass the pegs What do you think about What do you think about pigs And I'm like I don't like those ones
Starting point is 01:07:01 They're the cheap ones You've got to get a good sturdy spring on them. You do have to have a good spring. Okay, we've got so many messages coming on. We're going to get to those now if you want to add yours. Wow, 9696.96. Oh, darling. Oh, sweetheart.
Starting point is 01:07:13 Darlane. He's got an inhaler. Have we all had a hoon? Yes, we have. Yeah. You're not allowed to touch my inhaler. No, I had a hern before. I had a little hern as well.
Starting point is 01:07:22 So, thank you. That doesn't mean that you're out of. I've taken two of your antibiotics. Well, you're going to get vaginal thrush. Oh, no. I already had it. What happens then? How can I be the only one?
Starting point is 01:07:31 studio without rush. We want to know now, I'll wait a hundred dollars at him. 9-696. What doesn't your partner know about you? It could be a secret from the past or a secret that you're actively keeping. And I thought it was going to be things like, I ate the last chocolate bar. Oh my God. Or like this woman that when her husband once a week or boyfriend goes to darts,
Starting point is 01:07:53 she orders a big fat maccas on the couch and just like loves it, like quietly on her own. Sophie, what does your husband not know about you? Hi, so my now husband and I, we were like one month into dating and I was cooking dinner and so I was making pizza and I love mushrooms so I was chopping up some for me and I forgot that he doesn't like mushrooms or his words was that he hates mushrooms So I put them on his pizza and he came in and said that to me and I panicked and I said to him that I put mushrooms that I've been putting mushrooms in every dinner that I've cooked and he's never noticed which wasn't true.
Starting point is 01:08:31 Like I just completely forgotten and didn't like them. And so now he actually begs me for them to be in our dinner. And it's the first thing he grabs for me go grocery shopping. So you lied to him, but you made his life better because now he's like, well, maybe I do like mushrooms and he realizes that they're a superior vegetable. Absolutely. I mean, I know they're controversial, but he's like,
Starting point is 01:08:50 I want the porta bellos on the mushroom. Sorry, portobelloo mushrooms on the barbecue. Yes. People that don't like mushrooms, what's wrong with you? It's like the rubberiness takes a little bit to get used to and then you're like, holy moly. They're the best, babe. Brilliant.
Starting point is 01:09:05 Love that. Thank you, Sophie. Amy, what does your husband not know about you? I will quite often buy the kids the treats that he says no to and he doesn't understand why they love me more than him. What kind of treats are we talking? They're lollies and chocolates to, you know, some sneaky Starbucks or a trip to me.
Starting point is 01:09:29 Yeah, right. Oh, okay. Don't tell your father. Yeah, that's brilliant. I love that. Yeah, my dad was kind of the other way around. My dad was one who was like, I'm going to hear this, but don't tell mum. Don't tell mum, don't tell mum.
Starting point is 01:09:40 Yeah, yeah, just slip that on your baby. Put it amongst your other barbies. She won't even notice. Thank you, Amy. Some messages in. My husband doesn't know I'm on the peps. Some's on the pep times. Yeah, there's a few of them.
Starting point is 01:09:49 But wouldn't you're eating proportions go down so much? No, but wouldn't you just be like, I'm trying to cut back. Yeah. I'm trying to do portion control. My husband doesn't know I get bow-tops. Sox? Surely he does. No, men don't notice until you tell them.
Starting point is 01:10:04 Really? And then they'll go, oh, yeah, your eyebrows don't know. Are you mad at me? I can't tell. You guys know now. I have a gym membership just so I can shit and shower alone without my kids around me or up my ass when my partner asks me if I want a coffee every three seconds.
Starting point is 01:10:17 I just go to the gym to just use the bathroom and have a nice long hot shower. Wow, don't even work out. Yeah. Yeah, nice. Yeah, nice. I get at the long hot shower. You can be there as long as you want. My partner doesn't know I kept seeing my sugar down. early on in a relationship
Starting point is 01:10:30 because I wasn't sure how much I wanted to keep the sugar daddy around. Wow, okay. I don't think that, I don't think we bring that up. My partner doesn't know I had a threesome with his sister before I met him.
Starting point is 01:10:41 What is happening? How do we, how's Christmas? And if it's just a fun little, whatever. I tell my husband I'm going to go to the grocery shopping so he has to look after the kids. I actually just, I'm picking up, click and collect but I sit in my car at the beach with the coffee for an hour
Starting point is 01:10:59 before I pick up the groceries I love that I think you deserve it if you feel like you need that get it I don't even have kids and I tell lies and just go sit at the beach
Starting point is 01:11:08 I turn my security cameras off and the lawnmower man comes around and mows the lawns but I take credit for it oh I thought you were sleeping with the lawns I thought it was good though man she does a professional job
Starting point is 01:11:19 okay 966 keep your text coming in 0800 dials at M what doesn't your partner know about you right now we want to know if there's something that your partner doesn't know, whether it's a sneaky little thing you do when they're not around, or a secret from the past.
Starting point is 01:11:34 I get a cleaner every two weeks and I pay a cash from my ninja account. My husband just thinks every second Friday I spend a good three hours cleaning up the house. What's a ninja account? A secret account. Oh, yeah. So my dad doesn't know that... I'll find those in the divorce. My dad doesn't know that my mum's been getting Botox for the past 10 years. She hoards cash under her side of the bed to pay for it.
Starting point is 01:11:54 Until one day, he found the stash. Oh, spaghetti. And she had to make up some story about how it was to pay for wedding errands for my sister's wedding. He's still clueless. Oh. This is the benefit I mean. Because, you know, like, whatever, she's getting Botox and whatever. But, like, if you found hidden cash, you'd just.
Starting point is 01:12:12 I'd be more suspicious than Botox. 100%. Yeah, your immediate thing would be worst case scenario. She's going to leave me. What's she doing? She's a scurrying cash for. I'm taking weight loss drugs behind my partner's back. So we've had so many of these, the peptines of weight loss behind the back.
Starting point is 01:12:26 This one hits home. When my partner's not home, I use the big light. I'm currently dating a woman who loves to live in this twilight darkness. Yes. It's mental. Yeah, right. She's got lights. She won't turn them on.
Starting point is 01:12:42 Not the big light. She's got little lamps. Yeah. Oh, no, I've got to have a lot of light. Dude, you're telling me. That's my man. When I stay at her place and I get up in the morning, I shut the bedroom door and I turn on the big light. And I'm like, that's what this house looks like.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Yeah, wow. Crazy. I've never seen it before. It's just weird. It's right there and it's so easy to turn on. It's completely ignored. So, I just want to... So many messages of people going,
Starting point is 01:13:04 my partner doesn't know I'm bi-sexual. Why don't you tell them in open-in-over-world of fun? I know, but that doesn't change the monogamy. So if they're in a monogamous relationship... There's just more possible people they could chat on you with. Yeah, but exactly. Then you... Exactly.
Starting point is 01:13:19 No, not exactly. You think about things weird. If you're in a heterosexual relationship and it's monogamous, it doesn't matter. Nothing. glass breather, but you sort it out. Sort it out now. I've been going to the gym for the last three months. I haven't told my husband. He noticed I'd lost weight and he said, how are you doing that?
Starting point is 01:13:35 He noticed I lost weight and I said, how do you think I've done that? And he said, I think you've been eating less. Oh, okay. Why are you not telling him? Interesting. There's a secret from my husband as I went out. There was a, okay, I'm not going to see. Okay, yeah, I can say it. There's a new bar in Christchurch called Jolene and I got infatuated with a sexy
Starting point is 01:13:50 tall mustached man from Auckland that I can't stop thinking about. Now I want my husband to grow a mustache. Hot. Hot. Hot. Tall, sexy man at a bar with a mustache. Yeah, but what if she's like, that's what I want, she goes home to the husband, she's like grow a mustache and he grows something like peachy little fussy.
Starting point is 01:14:06 All of those little fuzzy, and he's like the gaps in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not every man can do it. Yeah. My partner works till night and he thinks they pick him up from home, whereas I'm actually living a pole dancing class I've been taking for the last year. He has no clue. Why wouldn't you want him to know you're doing the pole dancing?
Starting point is 01:14:22 He might want to see that. He might find that very sexy. Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Yeah. Someone said, my partner doesn't know that I keep forgetting to do the St. Pierre's liner with that. That's really funny. That's the same peers liner for fact of the day and I'm on the verge of losing my job because I've lost corporate sponsorship.
Starting point is 01:14:40 Yeah. Excuse you. How does this work? My partner doesn't know that I actually don't drink alcohol. Are they drinking the, I don't know. And they're like, I'm just going to pour champagne and it's an R&P. But why? Why?
Starting point is 01:14:54 Why would you hide that you? Why would you hide that you're... How do you're just so flumixed by this? No, no, no, it's more that people would hide that they are drinking alcohol. Yeah, like if you meant someone and they're amazing and they don't drink, like, oh, who cares? Yeah, I mean, you would.
Starting point is 01:15:08 It would be fine for me. Because you'd be drinking alone. Yeah, it's cheaper. My wife doesn't know before I met her, I used to frequent massage parlors. Now, in my defence, it did start out as massages until one day they offered me the extras and I took the extras and then, of course,
Starting point is 01:15:20 you always get the extras. Yeah, that's a gateway hand. That's a, that's a gateway hand. A gateway rub. My partner doesn't know that I boil my mentral disc in one of the kitchen pots to sterilise it. He'd be horrified. That needs a dedicated pot.
Starting point is 01:15:34 I know it's boiling water, but that needs a dedicated pot. Do you remember our friend Caitlin was doing that in the hotel cups? I know. In the jug. She was boiling out. She was holding the switch down on the motel jugs. And she told people she thought that was going to be like a funny quirk. I was like, no, people are going to think you're disgusting things.
Starting point is 01:15:49 She can rest it. My husband doesn't know the truth behind the yummy homemade lunches I make. for him to take to work. Home made. It's zero percent an act of love. I just hate how much you'd spend on fast food otherwise. My husband doesn't, my husband of 32 years doesn't know I've been on Wagovi all year.
Starting point is 01:16:06 I've lost 10KGs, but he thinks I've done it on my own. Do you have to keep it in the freezer or in the fridge or something? Yeah. Yeah, just hide it behind some broccoli. Chuck it in something you wouldn't eat, huh? The ZM Podcast Network. ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley. B&Z Breakers are taking on the Elawarahawks
Starting point is 01:16:23 in their first home game of the season. 5 p.m. Spark Arena this Sunday. Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster so you can go to ZM Online for all the schedule of the games coming up. And if you text Breakers right now with your name to 9-696, you can be in to win a Breakers season pass. Your seat at every home game this season. Now joining us is Breakers player Sam. Sam and Enga. Good morning, Sam. Good morning. How you guys doing? Good. We are so excited. This is my first Breakers game on Sunday. What can, like, aside from the game, what can we expect?
Starting point is 01:16:58 Because people are like, it's the funnest night ever. Oh, no pressure on that, eh? Yeah, yeah, don't stuff it up. It's also Haley's first ever basketball game. It's just great, and real life. I'm a big NBA fan, but I can't get over there, Sam. Oh, yeah. No, it should be exciting.
Starting point is 01:17:12 It should be a fun game. It's always a great atmosphere. Like, I think basketball's a great sport to watch, especially live. I love it too because it's fast, man. The court's short and you guys along. So it's like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Sam, Vaugh here. Hopefully, hopefully we can get a couple of
Starting point is 01:17:24 Dunks in there as well and things like that and get the crowd tearing. I like when the shoes go squeak on the ground. What can I say? I really like the sound of the shoes going squeak on the ground. Sam, I am a little bit worried, though, because we're court side. It's a privilege of the job. We're court side. Oh, you'll love it.
Starting point is 01:17:41 You'll get the inside scoop on kind of how we talk on the court. It can be great. Sometimes it can be a little bit chippy and interesting. It's always good. It's always competitive and it's always fun. Okay, nice. Can we chime in? Do you want input from the side?
Starting point is 01:17:53 Oh, sure. Anytime. I might look over at you guys and ask for something for it. Yeah, that's fine. Haley also was worried a little bit, Sam, about large men falling on top of her. Does that happen often? I would hate that, Sam. I'd be devastated.
Starting point is 01:18:06 Not too much. There's a little bit of risk involved, but hopefully we can avoid the crowd. Because you see it sometime. I've watched, you know, clips of NBA players absolutely fanging into the crowd. Hold on to your chardonnay. If you don't know what I look like, I'm 5-11 brunette, just feel free to come my way. We're very excited to see the game. But you also play for multiple teams, is that right?
Starting point is 01:18:27 You play over in China as well? I do. Well, in the off season, you usually go and you play elsewhere when you've got time off. It's about four or five months you have off. So I usually go overseas and play most recently in China and then before that, Puerto Rico. So we get around. Mariko. Yeah, fun.
Starting point is 01:18:46 What's special to you about New Zealand basketball, though? Because, like, we do it well. Like, it's a great, I don't know, I feel like finally people are getting behind it and loving it. Yeah, I think we play really hard. We're really physical. You know, we play with a lot of pride, and I think it's always showcased on the court,
Starting point is 01:19:06 especially to the breakers, especially through the Torblacks. Did you always know, because you're, you're, it's not that I've looked it up, but he's 6'9. It's of no interest to me, we're just looking enough for basketball stats. Yeah. Did you obviously, was it like obvious that you had to get into basketball, or did you actually enjoy the game,
Starting point is 01:19:22 and it just helped that you were tall? Yeah, I think looking back on it, it's pretty obvious, but I fell in love with it when I was younger. I followed in my older brother's footsteps of playing the games, but I really fell in love with it and it was really meant to be. Who's better? You're on the work. Oh, me. You did not hesitate. You did not hesitate.
Starting point is 01:19:41 I love that. Yeah, this is a debate I will have every day. It's always going to be me and it always will be me. I love that. I love that. Well, that's why you're on the breakers, isn't it? Yeah. It's crazy.
Starting point is 01:19:51 I'm just looking at your stats. It's weird with basketball that they put up your height and your high-end. your weight and everything. I literally used to weigh five kages less than you and you were six footnight. I had a blow out, Sam. I had a blow out a couple of years ago and I just really, I ate everything I wanted to
Starting point is 01:20:05 and I literally weighed four kages less than you. And I'm so much shorter. Okay, well, yeah, great. This is going to be crazy. Well, we're very excited to come in Sit Courtside and as you'll see us there will be the loudest ones cheering you on and if you want any advice,
Starting point is 01:20:22 I know all about the ballgame. Oh, can I tell you, first, actually Sam, I shared this with Stephen Adams when we talked to him. My first ever memory of basketball. Do you want to hear that? It's quite fun. Oh, yeah, I'm ready to hear it. So I come from a tall family, so my mum sent me and my brother to basketball camp, thinking, you know, this is probably where they're going to go.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Yeah. Joke. He's a musician. I'm a comedian. Yeah. And while we were sitting there, we were sitting on the floor and they're telling us about what they were going to do for the day. How old are you? Probably eight, too old to do what I just did, because I needed to pee, Sam, but I didn't tell them, so I just pissed on the floor and sat in her.
Starting point is 01:20:54 And then they went off to go, you know, like start playing basketball, and I just sat on the ground and they asked me why I didn't move. And I had to say that I wed my pants. And then I just sat on the bench all day and I never got to play basketball. Oh, that can be quite traumatic, sounds like. Yeah, I never picked up the ball again. And now she's just watching it. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:13 So don't worry on Sunday, I've got control of my bladder now. I was going to say if you skid over when you go pastime, there's been another incident. If you skid by me, I've spilled a drink, not some ways. Okay. Five o'clock, the, um, B&Z Breakers taking on the Illawarra Hawks Get those tickets at Ticketmaster And Sam, good luck
Starting point is 01:21:29 On Sunday Thank you, thank you so much Looking forward to it Play ZM's Flashhorn and Haley Now we want to know if you've got a little Sign hustle Not, you know, I'm working two full jobs And it's wearing me down to the bone
Starting point is 01:21:41 Yeah But like On the verge of burnout Yeah, what are you looking for hon? I name my whiteboard marker Oh darling I can't find it This yellow, this blue one?
Starting point is 01:21:50 Yeah, that will do but it's not the one Is it got a good sniff on it? Yeah, a purple one It does. I had a purple one to cross off the chemist warehouse thing I just did. You're good. There we go. Chuck it.
Starting point is 01:21:59 Yeah, that was well done, actually. I really admired the way you did that chemist warehouse one. Yeah, that's a lovely snuff. Thank you. Now, do you have a, um, do you want a snuff? Oh, that was good. Oh, that was. Do you have?
Starting point is 01:22:09 Do you guys have jump on it? Sweetie, honey, I found it. Oh, is it under the desk? How did it get down there? You dropped it, I think. Oh, thank you. That's beautiful. I need that for when I do the animates one.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Anyway, because I don't, again, unlike Vaughn in his same years. Well, actually, I've got this other blue one you just used, so I might cross off my liner that I do for St.Pier's Tussure for thinking of the day. I haven't sold my soul to the devil. I'm pure, I'm pure entertainment. We're an artist, are we? We're not to commercial sell out. I'm an artist.
Starting point is 01:22:33 Pay the mortgage with your art. And when I drive to my gigs, I drive in a Mazda. Anyway, so we want to know if you've got a side hustle at the moment. A little something you're doing on the side for a bit of extra cash. Maybe it's going successfully, perhaps not. There's a woman. She lives near a military base in America. and has always just been good at sewing.
Starting point is 01:22:52 That's not her job. She's got a full-time job. But to make a little extra coin, she messages soldiers and says, do you need your badges sewed on? And she just hand stitches on their little badges, it will say, their little sign. What kind of badges do they get?
Starting point is 01:23:10 Like brigadier. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Pan-in-by. Yeah, this thing or that thing. If it's coming loose, they take it to her and she stitches it up and, you know, gets a five bucker and then, yeah. Good little side hustle if you live next to a military base.
Starting point is 01:23:24 I don't know if that's what I'd be doing if I live next to a military base. Yeah, I'd be there all the time, but just doing other chance. But she says there seamstresses on site, obviously, but they're always overrun with like bigger things, like parachutes or like uniform things. Yeah, uniform fixes. I'll do the patches. And she gets a little extra coin. Now, we've all thought about a Netsi shop.
Starting point is 01:23:44 You know, we've all thought about maybe I could make a bit of buck out of my overrun fee joers and that kind of stuff. Producer Shannon, do you ever make any money out of your crochet, your side hustle crochet? Yeah, I've sold quite a few things. The hard thing about selling homemade stuff
Starting point is 01:23:58 is the cost, everyone's like, I'll pay for the yarn, and you're like, oh, well, actually, like a cardigan will take me about three weeks to make. And then if you gave yourself even a dollar per hour, it's still hundreds of dollars. And so I've sold stuff that I've made for myself and then no longer want,
Starting point is 01:24:14 and I sell it for about $200, and that still feels like a lot of money. I've stopped asking my friends to crochet my caddians. I just go straight to Post-D-plus. Yeah, you do. And it's not the nice stuff and it's not custom. I can't stand too close to the he-dings. Cake decorators know what you're saying too.
Starting point is 01:24:29 Exactly. I'll pay for the cake. But maybe it is just a little side hobby, a little hustle. Now, this one's just come in, 7-6-2's message this, and I don't know. I'll just run this past them these two to see if they think it works. My side hustle is I root hot mums around central Auckland. Now is that?
Starting point is 01:24:46 Are they paying you? Is they paying you? No, if they're paying you, that is a side hustle. I will actually ask you, they 7-62 if you're still listening. Are they paying you? Yeah, if you're doing sex work. Yeah, that's a side hustle. But if they're not paying you, that's just a hobby.
Starting point is 01:24:59 And what's your regular hustle? What's your regular job if you can squeeze in it? As you put it, rooting hot mums. Yeah, I think we've left root decades ago. I thought so too that he's described it here as rooting. Cash money, baby. Cash money for rooting hot moms. What?
Starting point is 01:25:16 How much? Ask how much? How much you're getting paid to root? Stop saying root. Hey, having a hoon. Having a hoon. Having a hoon on some hot arms. How much are you getting... Hey, hey, hey, who's paying for the hoons?
Starting point is 01:25:32 I'm sorry, you know now that it's legal, right? Yeah. Sex work. Yeah. He should be paying tax. He better be, actually. These rudies better be tax deductible. What is the withholding tax code on a...
Starting point is 01:25:44 It's R for root. Yeah. No, it's M-R. Because you can claim back a lot of deductibles. Condoms. Pute-trims. Yep. Pute trims.
Starting point is 01:25:54 Cubing. STI checks, doctor's appointments. Waxing. All sorts of G-strings. I'd imagine. You know, you couldn't just claim back everyday clothes. You can claim back a small portion of them.
Starting point is 01:26:05 $150 per route. $150? Bargion. Can't be that good. I don't know. I've never paid for sex. No. To pay for a.
Starting point is 01:26:16 professional sex worker for like a full professional experience would be like a thousand dollars. A thousand dollars? I was going to start at 20. Have you listened to Sex.9? I'm extremely cheap. Do they do a discount for people
Starting point is 01:26:28 who are going through financial hardships? Do they take my community services card? Oh my God, someone sells peptides as a side hustle. That's drug dealing. Technically. Okay. Okay. 9696.
Starting point is 01:26:43 0800.000. Keep your text in your calls at him. coming through. We want to know now your side hustle. We do because there's a woman who lives next to a military base and so she does a little bit of sewing for the lads and the ladies to get their little patches on the uniforms. Just put a stitching.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Everyone's hustling. Someone said can I have the number of the person selling the illegal peptives? No. We won't facilitate that. We won't facilitate that. Come on we all watch the Patty Gower documentary. Yeah exactly. Yeah and it made me think she'll get me some of them peptos. No, I joke, I joke, I'm jest. But I am looking forward to that Wolverine getting
Starting point is 01:27:15 all of the testing done. I'm so sore at the moment. Don't constantly have the sore. Rebecca, what is your side hustle? No, it's Jess. Oh, sorry, Jess, what is your sign hustle? Oh, I was like, who's Rebecca? Who the hell is Rebecca?
Starting point is 01:27:29 She's near us. No pressure, Jess, but Rebecca is waiting in the wings to tell us about her sign hustle, but you're first. You're our favourite. Don't tell Rebecca I said that, or Hillary. Jess, what is your sign hustle?
Starting point is 01:27:42 So I do YouTube videos. Oh, what do you do? I break down how allergy light therapy actually works on skin Oh my God, okay Jess, it's one of the most woo-woo things that I was told about and then I started doing it
Starting point is 01:27:56 because I've got one of the masks and it is literally the thing that clears my acne the fastest. It's amazing. Yeah, it actually works but you have to be really consistent and my purpose and the whole thing is to not sell brands or product. Oh, because it really felt like you were just
Starting point is 01:28:11 going to try to sell us masks. No, no, no, no. It's to explain things a real simple term so people actually understand how it works. I like that. Oh, that's so cool. How often should you be using one of these LED masks? The light therapy.
Starting point is 01:28:24 About every 48 to 72 hours. That's what I got. Yeah, yeah. And how often do you have to have it on? How often do you put it on your face? Well, like every second day or something like that. But like it's all about consistency and you can't use it in conjunction with like exfoliating or using enzyme masks.
Starting point is 01:28:46 Kledge, why don't you follow her YouTube? Well, exactly. How much money do you make from these videos? It's real complicated. I haven't even started monetising years. Right. Right, so you're just getting the hustle going. It's getting the people watching and building it up.
Starting point is 01:29:02 Yeah, okay. Good stuff. Yeah, great. Thank you, Jess. Can I read, oh, no, sorry. I read some checks at the end. We go to Rebecca, our favorite. Good morning, Rebecca.
Starting point is 01:29:10 Watch the side hustle. Good morning. Favorite. How are you? I'm good. How are you guys? Really good, thank you. My side hustle I'm starting today, actually.
Starting point is 01:29:19 I have just started a little honesty box bakery from my house. Oh, my God. Rebecca, I've been burnt by the honesty box when I sell my eggs. People steal the eggs. That's right. I have eggs as well, but so far no one has stolen the eggs. I always just tell myself that person must have really needed to feed their family and they really needed the eggs and they couldn't afford to pay.
Starting point is 01:29:41 That's what I always tell myself when someone stole it. like they put money into the box, but it was just a note that said, FU. Yeah, screw you. They pulled off in their Mercedes. They threw the ends of my house. That would feel like a burn. So wait, this is an honesty box bakery.
Starting point is 01:29:55 That means you've got delicious baked goods, but it's an honesty box. I have spent hours past like 24 hours. It's spending all this time baking brownies, cookies, all this sort of stuff, and now it's sitting in the way shed out of the house.
Starting point is 01:30:12 Rebecca, where? Where can we encourage people to come down and purchase some of those baked goods? Well, I'm based in Queensland and it's at Perkins Road. Perkins Road in Queensland. We couldn't be further away from Perkins Road and Queenstown, us three. We could not be further away from this delicious brownie if we tried. But if you are in Southland and you get there, DM us some photos. Yeah, it's on the Frankton Road bit between the airport and town.
Starting point is 01:30:41 Oh, fantastic. Yeah. Oh, yum. Good luck, babe. Because obviously you put so much work into this. I hope it pays off. Yeah. Have you got some signs, like pointing from the main road?
Starting point is 01:30:52 Oh, fantastic. I do. I've put some signage on the main road. Honestly, I think how your car has just pulled up as my first car. Okay, okay. This is exciting. This is exciting. Now, are you looking at the window? Are you out the window?
Starting point is 01:31:03 Oh, I feel a bit creepy doing that. Maybe the person was listening and driving along that road. Because if they are. Toot their horn. Toot your horn if you pulled in because of. Okay. I'm talking about it on the radio. So have you got a price, and then is there like a little ice cream box for them to put the money?
Starting point is 01:31:20 It's a bit classier than an ice cream box. But, yeah, there's a little like money, like a cash box. Okay, so what are they doing? What are they doing now, Rebecca? Oh, you've got your bank details there for a transfer. That's a good idea. Yeah. I've gone inside.
Starting point is 01:31:34 I can't see inside the ship somewhere. But I've gone inside. I'm sure they don't steal. Wait, so they're inside the honesty box. No, no, there's a shed. Oh, there's a shed. It really feels like you need a camera there, Rebecca. If this is going to be an ongoing thing.
Starting point is 01:31:49 Nah, just five, you go back in. As soon as she leaves, going to have a lot of money. Yeah, yeah. I wonder what she's going to put. Yeah, yeah, Liz. And can you send us a photo of your cute little? Yeah. Rebecca, just wait on the line.
Starting point is 01:32:02 We're going to go to Hillary and then come back and see what this person if they actually paid. Otherwise, we'll get the place. We'll get our listens out for this car. Hilary, good morning. A favorite. Good morning. Your sign hustle? Good morning.
Starting point is 01:32:14 My side hustle is selling gingerbread houses and gingerbread kits for Christmas. So do you make the biscuit? Yes, I do, yeah. And then put it all together. So it's up the icing and the lollies that decorate it and stuff? Everything you need. Wow. And send them around New Zealand.
Starting point is 01:32:29 And so they're all New Zealand made rather than the one ticket from from the warehouse that is baked in China. And this isn't your main job. You've got a different job. Yeah, so I work in marketing full-time. Oh, wow. I've got two little kitties under five, so it's pretty full on. I think out about 800 last year online, and then I did markets and works off as well.
Starting point is 01:32:50 So it's wild hours. And so you'd be sending them all out for Christmas. I'd hate to be stuck driving behind one of those house-moving trucks with the gingerbread cat house on it. Oh, my God. Yes, crisis. Slow. That's a massive gingerbread house. And without giving us a number, you're making a bit of cash out of this?
Starting point is 01:33:07 Yeah, it's a great little side hustle. I've been doing it about seven years. Hell yeah. Yeah. Have you got an instant? How do we find you? How do people find you? I'm the gingerbread company.
Starting point is 01:33:16 I've got internet. I've got Instagram. I've got internet. I love supporting the little side hustles. Thank you, Hilary. She's got a full website. Dotco.n'tnz. You've got to do it.
Starting point is 01:33:27 You make a website, you're clever cookie. Because I went to Halisprow.com. Working in marketing. Yeah. Yeah. I did get a little bit of brutal feedback last year from one customer. What was it? What was a son of a bitch say?
Starting point is 01:33:38 Me made me saying my product went worth it. I was just really good at marketing, which thank you. It's my job. Oh, wow. I did try. Do you think he was pissed off yet to make it himself? Probably that. I think it's good.
Starting point is 01:33:50 We don't look like my ones on the website when they made it. That's fail. While we've got you here, Hillary, would you have some marketing advice for Rebecca? I'll bring her in on the line now who's got her Honesty Box bakery. Just to sign on the main road. Do you think that's enough? I reckon she needs to be getting on the TikTok. That's how everyone's making the big bucks.
Starting point is 01:34:10 Yeah, Rebecca, are you on TikTok with your honesty box? I'm not on TikTok, but I'm on Instagram. Okay. Why, why are you? How do you find you on Instagram? The millennials have got the money too. Did you just millennial shame Instagram, Hillary? Yes.
Starting point is 01:34:25 Wait a minute, you just said millennials have got money. I'm a millennial. Not all of them are going through a divorce. But are you spreading out on bakery items? Yes. The small amount of money I do have. $10 for a good cake. I put on like 15Ks in the last year.
Starting point is 01:34:39 I don't want to talk about it, but obviously, someone's been eating something. Now, Hillary, if we can just hold on, Rebecca, did the person that pulled up to the Odyssey Box Bakery pay or take anything? They did pay, and they bought a brownie and a banana bread. Yay! Who is this baby? The ball is rolling.
Starting point is 01:34:56 Fantastic work. This is aspiring stuff. It's great stuff. Rebecca, what's your Instagram? Oh, it's Blackshed QT. Blackshed QT. If you're in QT, go buy some brownie because it's like selling. out fast, isn't it? And Hillary, thank you as well. Hillary would approve of this. It's a good Instagram.
Starting point is 01:35:14 You're great follow. You're getting a follow. You'd actually be very impressed with this marketing. Hello, she's kept it quite simple and beautiful. Classy for the Queenstown money bags. Yeah, you do that. You do that. Maybe shoot her some advice. Women's supporting. This is also maybe another segment in the making. What? Advice. Where someone rings in with a problem
Starting point is 01:35:33 in one of our listeners who's a professional in the area calls in and we get, we get, I love that. Rather than the shit advice we did you. Yeah, but what if it goes on too long. We just hang up on them. We've got the parents our show. Switch for and hailing. There's some more.
Starting point is 01:35:45 I'll read your messages. Two years ago, I got a churner removed from my pelvis. I have quite the striking minch scar. I honestly, I'm thinking about studying in only fans because I know that there's people out there with scar kinks. I'm honestly considering it as a side hustle. Now, I have read
Starting point is 01:36:01 the phrase, quite a striking minge scar. So many times, and it made me actually. choke on my drink when I first read it and I would like to share. Have we gone text of the week? No, we haven't.
Starting point is 01:36:16 We've done call of the week. I think we give striking minskar. And I don't know how to save their details of striking minskar. Okay, well, Animates voucher. You've got a $50 dollar animates voucher. Text of the week, thanks to animates making happy happen for pets. Also, just while we're on some admin,
Starting point is 01:36:30 we had, we message about the breakers earlier with the season pass. That is going to Abby Hanson. You'll receive an SMS from our system. Yeah. I just want to stay in this show forever. I'm having a really fun morning. I have a good time.
Starting point is 01:36:47 I've had a fun time. Some more side hustles. I get carpet off cuts and make little carpet mats out of the mine overlocker and boy, do I make some good money doing that. Yeah, man. Good idea. My mate and I build chook houses in the weekend. Pretty good gig.
Starting point is 01:37:00 The day job gets in the way sometimes and the side hustle feels like it could be the main hustle. Wow. Wow. Well, because how many people have all this land and you just chuck a couple of chickens in there? Yeah, gosh. You get free eggs.
Starting point is 01:37:11 I mean, you've got to pay for the feed, but it works out. That's getting expensive too. Hot career mum here. How do we get that guy's number? The guy who's going around, root and tooting, too, and hot mums. Yeah, well, maybe this is what the segment needs, yeah. We're just connecting.
Starting point is 01:37:25 We're connecting entrepreneurs. Is there a whole mum with a bit of money that wants to? It needs a service. For 150 bucks. And maybe she can give us a review. What are you doing after the show? Fletch, you could make $150. I've got plans.
Starting point is 01:37:36 You've got plans. You could do it, fine. I'm buying a cinnamon mug. after the show. A cinnamon bun. A cinnamon bun. I think a cinnamon mum. I was like,
Starting point is 01:37:44 that sounds like my sort of coloured mum. I described it as cinnamon colour. Yeah, with icing on her head. Now we're talking. Oh my God, someone texted, I'm sorry. This side hustle is sending my partner's invoices on behalf of his business and I just pop in a few extra dollars. That's my side hustle.
Starting point is 01:38:00 That's my little... I'm sorry, that's called fraud. That's really interesting. That's some white collar fraud. What we've identified there is called fraud. Wow. I am pineapple. 20 bucks a game sometimes more
Starting point is 01:38:11 25 30 It depends what the team's offering to pay I make $100 every Saturday during the winter netball season I don't know if $100 is enough to be crying Because surely they'll yell at you and say mean things Someone's side hassle is teaching Les Mills classes Do you know it was always a dream of mind To teach a pump class
Starting point is 01:38:29 You never say that on the radio What? Because now someone's going to be like make it happen You never say I've had this dream Oh Remember how you were like I'm going to learn a skateboard I'm going to learn this Haley did sit in front of the class in a virtual class
