Starting point is 00:00:00 from the ZDM Podcast Network. This is... Fleshwood and Haley's Big Pod. Brought to you by Chemist Warehouse. The biggest brands of the lowest prices. The top six coming up, Vaughn? Yeah, chickens may be periodically put on lockdown. As bird flu looms,
Starting point is 00:00:16 it's triggering, isn't it? Yeah. Still see the stickers on the footpath or outside the supermarket, the two-meter... Yeah, we see some two-meter stickers the other day. I was like, that was good stuff. My favorite thing was, I think as of last year, Vaughn was still trying to sign in to work at the lifts.
Starting point is 00:00:30 I still, if I see one in public, I don't mind rocking that little QR code and it's like app no longer renews. I'm like, no. Yeah, the sushi shop near us, say that. That was there for a while. Yep. A long while.
Starting point is 00:00:41 So chucks were in lockdown? Yeah, the top six things, chickens will be doing on lockdown. Bless. Less the little chickens. Because they've got so much space, don't they? I'd have to have, like, quite a solid mask. A pointed solid mask.
Starting point is 00:00:54 A pointed solid mask. Yeah. A little beak mask. A little beak mask. Yeah. Next on the show, do you know, AI news, Dr. Dr. Don't. Don't. This is heartbreaking.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Has come out embracing AI in music. That's giving big that's giving big I've invested in AI, isn't it? For sure. But Dr. Dre, you are what? I know you're listening. Good morning, Dr. Dre. Good morning, Dr. Dre. He loves Top 40 radio. Good morning to all of our doctor listeners this morning. Actually, good morning to all doctors. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:23 You are what AI is using to learn how to make music. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? It ingests all. of music that's all made. He said, I think the only people that said is a threat are people who have trouble creating. I get it. So he's like, sure, bring it on if you need it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:43 But I'm Dr. Dre. Well, not the only people embracing AI. Britain's emergency service number. 911? 919. 919. Yes. They're embracing AI for emergency calls because of the growing number of, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:00 silly, frivolous calls to emergency 999 lines. Time wasters. I thought we'd go through some of these are silly calls. Silly calls next because they're a bit silly. The Fletchborn and Haley, big pod. In the UK, they're using AI screening on the, what's the, our equivalent of not one-one-one-but-the-other-one. It's not important.
Starting point is 00:02:25 10-5. 10-5. Not important. It's important. It's just not an emergency. See, like, like something's wrong, but it doesn't need to be fixed right now.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Like it's that, but it would be great if you could just do it. Get on that. If you saw somebody overtaking on double yellow, would you go 10-5 or 1-1-1-1? I'd personally chase them down myself and follow them to wherever they were heading and reprimand them that way.
Starting point is 00:02:49 If it was dangerous driving, I'd call 1-1-1-1, I reckon. Or star triple-5, actually. Oh, yeah, that's the one if you're on the, if you're driving, that's the traffic one. Too many numbers. remember. 10-5, star triple-five. Well, in the UK, their version of 105 is 101. 101, 101, one-o-one, eagle boys? That was the number, was it?
Starting point is 00:03:14 Eagle Boys, oh, 800, 101, it was Eagle Boys. Was it? I don't know if it was. Yeah, it was. Are you sure? Yeah. Eagle boys are. Well done, yeah. She's nowed it. Yeah. How did you remember? Here it is. It came from the depths of my... What are you going to throw at us this week, Eagle Boy? Three large pizzas. Three large pizzas for only 2695. What, 2695? How did you even remember that?
Starting point is 00:03:45 I don't know that was just in me. So pizza hasn't gone up that much in price. Those were good pizzas though. Eagle Boys were. Eagle Boys was good pizzas. We used to drive all the way from Eastbourne to into Lower Heart to get Eagle Boys. Can I still see where it was? Well, in the UK, the 101 is the non-emergency line.
Starting point is 00:04:03 They've introduced AI because people are calling up with the most stupid, ridiculous shit ever. When you first said this, I thought they were going to use AI for their emergency 99. No, so I can't. I had a quick Google and it does seem like that would be too much for people at this stage. Like, you know, you're calling up someone's murdered someone. I'm sorry, I can quite process what you're saying. Exactly. I don't think that could ever be AI. No, no, no, no. You wouldn't, it wouldn't just...
Starting point is 00:04:33 It's not right. It's not right. So, they've introduced it for the non-emergency 101 number because these are some of the requests that they've had. Okay. A caller wanting police to pick them up because they needed a ride. Uber's are expensive. Somebody wanting to talk about changing electricity providers. It's not really a police issue. A caller wanting to discuss the cost of electricity. Yeah. I mean, they're going through exactly what we're going through. I get my powerball and I'm like, there's a crime being committed here.
Starting point is 00:05:00 One, one, one. I'm being robbed. A person wanting advice on whether their pension is tax-free from the age of 55. A person wanting to report a lost umbrella. Oh, for God's sake. A person wanting to report a lost parcel and their oyster card. Oh, they're like train card. Like their train card, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Somebody reporting that their pizza, 0800. And 101, 101, 101. It was taking longer than expected. So do you know, it's giving old mates. It's giving nana and paparay. Yeah, it is. And they're lonely. They've got no one to talk to.
Starting point is 00:05:36 I just wanted to know who to tell that I've lost my oyster cart. Or is this in the UK? Hello, I've lost me a oyster car. Oh, sweetie. Somebody also called to complain that their fast food restaurant was running out of food. There was slow service at the pub. Yeah. And somebody also asked the,
Starting point is 00:05:57 police non-emergency line, what they could do with their children while it was school holidays. Sometimes they've had enough. Sometimes they just feel like a life or death situation. Do you guys have a service or you guys could look after them if you're not busy? This is the line for the non-emergency stuff, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:06:15 So you could take them. I've never called... Oh, have you called... I have called 1-1-1. Hey, yeah, there was a fight once or something that I called. But yeah, you've called. it heaps.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Why? But he's a vigilante. God, you've been willy-nilly. No, it's always been like warranted. Oh, right. The only time I've done it is, you know, how iPhones, if you squeeze it a certain way,
Starting point is 00:06:40 keep squeezing it, it calls 1-1-1. Oh, yeah, yeah, do you sit on it. And then I saw it and that answer and I just hung up. And I was like, I don't need that. And then they call back, which is great. You never know, I might be in trouble. Because you could have been in trouble, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I was like, no. Just the key for the women's is so long. I'm going to have no worry about me. The Fletchbourne and Haley Big Pod. From the Fletchborn and Haley group chat, this is the top six. The EPF, the egg producers, a federation says it's likely the free... Oh, not the EPP.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Yeah, well, the EPP are saying FRC, free-ranged chickens, are likely to be going in and out of lockdown. Oh, they're not going to know themselves. Hundreds of thousands of hens have been in lockdown as the third case of bird flu has been confirmed in a wild bird in Altero. It's not good. It's not good. Now what are you doing to protect your chucks?
Starting point is 00:07:36 Nothing. How are your little chicks? They're okay. They're getting so ugly. They're ratty. And then they've got to get their big adult feathers before they can go outside. How long till the cloaca is in action?
Starting point is 00:07:49 What are they now? Probably another 10 weeks. Oh, nice. Can't wait for these eggs. 10 weeks? Yeah, nice. But I don't know if I have to like shut them in the thing. I suppose I shut them in the
Starting point is 00:07:59 thing. Yeah? Yeah, but then a bird could just land in there, couldn't it? Well, the starlings, the starlings make the mud nests in the corner of the coop. How am I supposed to keep starlings out? The starlings make the mud nests in the corner of the cup? You might need some netting. I've got some netting. Yeah, okay. But I suppose the door will be shut. Oh, it would be pretty miserable.
Starting point is 00:08:15 And then Vaughn'll eat the eggs. He'll get bird flu. Bring it into work. Bring it in and we'll get it. And here we go again. Here we go again. Panthamic. Here we go again on my own. Top six things. will get up to in lockdown number six on the list are the leach be individually reliving the story of the little red hen
Starting point is 00:08:33 who will help me plant the wheat no one who will help me mill the wheat no one who will help me make the bread no one who wants the bread everyone I don't remember this story that sounds horrendous the little red hen and she's like hey um I'm gonna plant some wheat no one wants to help her she does all the things and then it gets to that I think I've never heard this in my life 9-6-9-6 please educate these well you've got no excuse how
Starting point is 00:08:57 You were privately educated and probably went to a pretty flashed kindergarten. I mean, that was at high school. I don't think we learnt the little red hen as teenagers. My death cell won primary school didn't have a lot of books. Some of the pages were missing. We just did crafts and a lot of like clay and sort of.
Starting point is 00:09:10 But the moral of the story was you should chip in along the whole way if you want the reward because it got to the end of the day and she had a low for bread and everybody wanted the bread. Well, because everybody cooked bread. Oh, everybody made sourdough. Why don't you just say they'd be cooking sourdough? Yeah, because that would have been a missed opportunity
Starting point is 00:09:26 for a sort of a cultural touchpoint of the Little Red Hen. And doing it all by yourself. I'm doing it all by yourself. A little Red Hand content will be locked in. Number five on the list of the top six. It's the story of Henny Penny, not the Little Red Henny. No, Henny Penny is when the sky's falling. Who said that?
Starting point is 00:09:46 Shut up. You're wrong. Trust me. I know that Henny Penny is the Skyfall. But otherwise, no one... 164. No one cares with Little Red Hen. Oh, someone did say clockdowns are pretty good.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Clockdowns are pretty good. It's a pretty good name. That's actually really good. You miss that. Yeah, missed that one, one to nine. Flockdown. Flockdown is pretty good. I like, cluck down. Someone said, do chickens breathe through their beaks?
Starting point is 00:10:06 Where else do you think they breathe through? Don't they have nostrils on the top? But even if they breathe through their mouth, it's still out of the beak. Sort of one in, one in one out. Yeah. But the chicken isn't it? The one in one end and cloacker at the other. Back to my list that I worked really hard on.
Starting point is 00:10:21 We're loving it. Number six on the list of number five on the list of the things chickens will get up to in lockdown Zoom calls. Yeah. Yeah. And they'll be like doing things like a pairing and chicken caught on Zoom and no one will be able to turn off the cat filter on their face and that'll freak everybody out because all of a sudden there's a cat in the...
Starting point is 00:10:38 Yeah. It will be a bit awkward though because you know how Zoom will automatically put the camera to who's talking? If there's everybody's clucking... It'll just be like... You're bouncing around. Yeah, bouncing around the different screens. It's hard to touch the screen with the claws or the beak. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Because they're on the claws. on the ground. So I also did. I attended a Zoom wedding and Zoom funeral over lockdown. So I have to get used to that world. Oh, the deaths. They really missed a trick-not doing that
Starting point is 00:11:07 four weddings and a funeral movie. Yeah. Over Zoom. Over Zoom. Like the, you know, a sequel. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's all Zoom. But yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:18 And not chickens. And not chickens. Why not chickens? One of them would be a trickens. As a further twist on the original. Sure. Number four. on the list of the top six things, chickens will get up to an
Starting point is 00:11:27 clark down, an unscheduled feather trim. They'll get a little bit bored and think they can cut their own hair because they can't get down to the salon, of course. Yeah, yeah, they get it right down to the thick bit. Yeah. Doesn't look good. It can't hurt too, getting it too far down. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:41 When you cut your nails too. Yeah. It's all like roar and sore. Number three on the list of the top six things, chickens will get up to and black down. Jigs or puzzles, but, like, you know how you got, everybody got the really challenge. ones. The was jigs, which was...
Starting point is 00:11:57 Or everything was jelly beans. Except for them, it'll be, everything will be corn. Oh, God, that'll be a night. And then they'll get really confused and they'll start pecking at it because they're like hungry for corn. But they've got to pull all together. They ate the puzzle. Yeah. Damn it. We'll never finish. Three pieces have been eaten. Number two on the list of the top six things, chickens will get up and doing
Starting point is 00:12:15 cluck down. The daily government mandated walk around the same four square metres of the chicken run. Do you think they'll just join in a loop? Yeah. had eight chickens in a coop. Yeah. And then you get back up on your perch and the next eight come down and they go
Starting point is 00:12:30 around and around and around. And number six, number one on the list of the top six things chickens will get up to him, block down. Panic buying absolutely everything except toilet paper. Oh no. Because they don't need toilet paper. They don't. They'll panic buy everything else.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Just corn. Yeah. All the corn's gone. They're shit on the corn, corn. Straw. Yeah. Not toilet paper. Because they've got a cloaca.
Starting point is 00:12:54 There's a little colourful Biscuity bits in the chicken feed Oh yeah Who was it? Yeah or a bit of sunflower seed Yeah yeah Get a bit of that But toilet paper absolutely not required
Starting point is 00:13:05 That's today's top six The ZM Podcast Network Stumbled across a great debate online I've seen this a bit popping up And I've just read a great article What is happening With the female-focused Adult Fun Toys
Starting point is 00:13:20 Now I don't know how much You guys are aware of this Vaughn, I think you'd be perhaps more clued up and Fletch for some reason. Well, because I obviously am waiting for marriage. He's waiting for marriage and also he's a manual man. It's been a long time. Learn how to drive a manual. We'll continue driving
Starting point is 00:13:35 a manual. Women are saying who made these settings. Now, a lot of your classic vibratory toys have sometimes eight, nine, ten settings.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Yeah. And two of which probably makes sense and the rest of them and this one. And this one. Perfect. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:14:03 These ones are... Not this one. Or this one's up for debate. What are you doing? It has dug up a very deep history of women's women Female-focused, because anyone can really use it, I suppose, but female-focused adult fun toys being designed by men,
Starting point is 00:14:30 right back to the very first one that was made. It was called the Perkir-Tur was made originally in the 1800s for muscle. I mean, the Egyptians had your classic, phallus. But the actual sort of ones were made for muscle relaxants for people. then later are prescribed women for hysteria. Like if you just get one of these out, you'll be alright. Back in the old days, you 100% would have been... Hysteria.
Starting point is 00:15:01 What hysteria literally comes from Hister, which is the same root word for hysterectomy or a lot of family things. Hysteria was believed to be a condition of the womb. Mad bitches. Because these women were asked to move to the other side of the world, pump out as many children as possible. No drugs, no pain relief.
Starting point is 00:15:20 And then stay at home in a small one, bedroom house raising them. Yeah. And they were crazy. Yeah, of course. All they needed was good play with themselves. Yeah, yeah, literally just have an eye. They didn't have bloody time.
Starting point is 00:15:32 You had to go to the doctor. You're getting a prescription for a... That's crazy. So we've come a long way. 28,000 years ago was the oldest... 28,000 years ago. 28,000 years ago. You mean 2,800 years ago?
Starting point is 00:15:44 28,000-year-old object was found in Germany. It was a Roman-era carved phallis found in Hadrian's wall. and it was smoothed from repeated use. Oh, we've all worn out a bloody Satisfarier Pro. Yeah. Down to the number. How do you wear that out? Really far.
Starting point is 00:16:06 So, and then, so this is the debate online. People have been like, why have these always been, like some of the major adult fun toy companies, like Lilo, which is the real expensive lush ones, all created by men. And people are going, it really tells. It's really show. No one's using this. And we were saying, just before me and the girl is the only time you ever pass these settings is when you've accidentally bumped off the first two. And then you've got a cycle forward.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Yeah. There's not a cycle back. Yeah. What if your favourite's like seven? That's hard to find. That's right in the middle of it. No one's favorite seven. Why do they put them there then?
Starting point is 00:16:42 Men are just like, I'll love this. Because you know that the human version of a man trying to do that to a woman. And you're like, no, no, no, no. They're like, she'll be loving it. And you're like, we're not. So they did a survey and women said three, three would be enough, three settings. Wow, okay. Five max.
Starting point is 00:17:01 We don't need eight to ten. I'd love to talk to Morgan because she made a want. That was just one, two speed, three speeds. No, no, no, that's not lots of settings. I had the different speeds. Yeah, it's a go-to of mine. But it's, you know, I don't think anyone's actually using them. Nine-six-o is just like, to me, it just feels like you're cycling through an old Nokia
Starting point is 00:17:19 trying to find which ringtone you want. Yes. I'm surprised there's not a vibrating setting that is that. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Flesh forne and Haley. So silly, silly, silly that. Silly little poll today is when streaming music, how do you choose what to listen to?
Starting point is 00:18:02 Options. Go to my own playlist that I've created. Go to a playlist The app has created for me Just listen to my liked songs Or search a specific song And then go from there Hmm
Starting point is 00:18:14 Twits in the mood Yeah totally Sometimes I'm like Oh I want someone to decide for me Or I love like you know Going like like this vibe This artist But then every now and then you're like
Starting point is 00:18:25 I've got a handkering For Ice Cube Pick the song And then let it curate something after that Yeah yeah yeah Yeah I actually listen to the radio From 6 till 10 In the car
Starting point is 00:18:35 Car. Thank you. Thank you, Hayley. Absolutely. On the I Heart app as well, you can do that live. I tell you why, I don't turn it off at 10. I stay around for Georgia in the afternoon. And you can catch up on the podcast as well.
Starting point is 00:18:45 That's right. Fletchhorn and Haley. Stick around after that for Brian Clint. Fantastic show. Brooke in the evenings. Yeah. And then no one between midnight and six. No one.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Not a goddamn soul. We can't afford to pay someone for that. Five o'clock. We're back. That's from yesterday. And then we'll see it six. So the option. in order from lowest
Starting point is 00:19:07 Ohio. Search a specific song and then go from there is 17%. Oh! Just listen to my most liked songs 21% and that's 21%
Starting point is 00:19:16 equal with go to a playlist the app has created for me but 41% of people go to my own playlist that I've created. Yeah, good stuff. Autonomy. Georgia said
Starting point is 00:19:25 Spotify DJ is underrated actually oh that's a reverse KPI I just tip the bell upside down for that one. Yeah, that's terrible. No, yeah. I mean listen to us, Wherever you podcast, but Georgia, get on I-A-R-A.
Starting point is 00:19:38 It's a lot. Slop, Georgia. That's, come on. Artist or name of song followed by the playlist that they create based off that song I just picked. Oh yeah, that's good. That's good sometimes. Zach said, I search a song, I feel like listening to, and then just let it play out from there. Yep, love that. That way, it'll give me a starting point, hits the murder of the original song.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Probably have to fast forward about the fourth one in, but I don't know, you know. I know sometimes you're like, oh, you didn't get me here. I've been hitting the Besties Roadies Playlist. Thank you. I was going to play trip. The Besties Road Trip playlist recently. Yeah, it's great, but there are some rogue ones on there.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Every now and then I'm like, who put this on? Fast forward. It's either Olivia Rodriguez or Catseye, said Pippa. Yeah, good. She's in a spot right now. Just two. I made playlists, but if anyone has recommendations of people to follow who make good playlist, some all ears.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Oh, yeah, I really do. that. Actually, and you can actually rate our playlist as well if you want to. Yeah. Thank you. You're a chance to win one of those big, bloody JBL 130 light-up. You're making them work, aren't we? Stripper boxes.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Yeah, yeah, that's right. That's what we're calling it. Yeah. Yeah, the JBL big light-up stripper box. Yeah. Fantastic. Play what you like on. Chris said, like songs plus smart shuffle.
Starting point is 00:20:58 That way it might chuck in a new one. Every now and then I'm like, I'm in the mood for some new music. And I'll go to. new music something or the other. And I'm like, I wasn't at all of the mood for new music. No, it comes to you like, I don't know, this can't sing along. I don't know, any of these songs. Coralie said, I search daylist that never disappoints.
Starting point is 00:21:18 I've never heard of that. Daylist. I listen to my, day list. You want to give that a little bit of research. Fighter of the night list. Listen to my most liked song playlist on shuffle, then get annoyed that it doesn't play the song I specifically wanted, so I skip until it does.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Yes, I'm aware this is a terrible flawed system, but no, I won't change it. Beck said, I get so bored of set playlists that even ones I made for myself, I can only listen to once or twice, and then they really irk me for an irrational level. Now, Dainless is just your go to top 40 artists, and I actually find that on Fletchford and Hayley in the morning,
Starting point is 00:21:52 six to ten. I stick around for Georgia, and then I get to Branklin, and I stay with Brock. And then six to, and then 12 to five. Nothing. No one. No one.
Starting point is 00:22:02 If you would like, to work on the radio between... For free. For a great experience that money can't buy experience and trust me there's a long line of people who want your job so do it for nothing and be appreciative of it. We've got the opportunity for you to work. I don't know if we do. I don't know if we do. I don't know if we do.
Starting point is 00:22:17 We call the middorns. Great to get your foot in the door of the industry. We will expect you to do it live. You know, just for that real authentic live radio experience. Yeah, fantastic. You can email, let's say Marty at ZM. Online.com. Or born. Born at Zedem Online.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Yeah, good luck spelling that. But Marty, much easier to spell. Sophie said, you're all sleeping on albums. I always listen to full albums. No one listens to full albums. I do. I listen to the streets. A grandad come for free.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Do you remember it's a story? Last year we went through our Kings of Leon album face. Oh my God. Start to finish every day. Yeah. That white, by the way. Who asked? White people love Kings of Leon.
Starting point is 00:23:01 Hey. Sex on fire. I went to a Kings of Leon concert and saw a brown person. Yeah, they were over in the right hand corner. Yeah, they were a white person who had been tanning. Shit, I think it might have been right, actually. I had all the features of a tanned white person. Next time we'll count them.
Starting point is 00:23:18 We will. I don't think you can actually go in public and count the brown people, you say. Yeah. For our friend Vaughn. Are you brown? We'll take a video. Are you brown? Excuse me, we're just taking a video for our friend Vaughn.
Starting point is 00:23:28 What's your heritage? Yeah. Where are you from? Where are your parents' parents from? We say in jest, we say in jest. So for today's a little poll, we ask when you're streaming music, how do you choose what to listen to? 41% of you are going to a playlist that you created.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Play ZMs, Flesh, One, and Haley. Worldpopulationreview.com. They do, like, they gather all these studies and researchers from around the world, and they collate them. And now, for 2026, the member size is the word I'm going to use. The phallus of the man has been ranked by country. So my next question was how did they go and knock on some doors in every country in the world with a tape measure?
Starting point is 00:24:16 Or would they be, they've collated several studies? Multiple studies of self-reporting. So let's self-reporting. I was going to say, because I've never been to the doctor and he's like, how big does it get? Like, not on his question, he's like, let's weigh here, let's take your temperature, how big does this get? I'd be worried if the doctor said that. So. You'd be like, are you actually a doctor?
Starting point is 00:24:36 How much does that get? What are you? What, excuse you? You do go to that doctor in the van, though, at the markets. Well, Dr. Van Man. Dr. Van Man's cheap. Just walk up. Dr. Van Man better get into the peptides soon. I'm going to need my Dr. Van Man to absolutely get me access to some wolverine peptides
Starting point is 00:24:52 because my back is, Steph. So this is really interesting. There's so many things. We don't have time to get into all of it. Because then there's other little readings you can get down to the from the list, including factors that influence. member length. And here's an interesting statement.
Starting point is 00:25:06 Is the answer from Africa? No. Despite common beliefs, race has only a marginal impact upon penny size. Oh, right. Okay. More than 1,600 males determine that the difference in average member length among white, black, Asian, Native American and Pacific Islander Hawaiian men in the US vary by less than an inch. Okay. Really?
Starting point is 00:25:28 So it's not environmental factors at play? There's heaps. This whole, it's amazing. Anyway, we don't have time. If you want to dive into that, your own study. What's the, what's the... To do your own study? No, Tinder.
Starting point is 00:25:41 It's called Tinder. Worldpopulationreview.com. But here's the list. Now, I'm just going to knock out the... I mean, despite what I just said. But when New Zealand, are we aren't there or are we right down the bottom? I'll say. Because how many countries are there in the world?
Starting point is 00:25:55 230. Exactly. Yeah. Let's, I'm just going to hit you at the top. And I'll say New Zealand, I think we should be. proud. Okay. Okay. Sudan, Congo, Ecuador, Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria,
Starting point is 00:26:07 Venezuela, Lebanon, Colombia, Cameroon, Jamaica, Kenya. What are we talking about? Penaissance or where Fletch goes on holiday? I think there may be correlation. I've never been to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Only because you can't get insurance to go there, but you've asked every time. Listen to this.
Starting point is 00:26:23 D.R. Congo, Ecuador, Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria, Venezuela, Lebanon, Colombia, Colombia, Colombia, Colombia, Colombia, Cuba, New Zealand. Like, did you hear the theme of what I just said? New Zealand. Wait, is that because we've got so many Colombians and Venezuelans and here? Sudan.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Sudan, Ecuador, Nigeria, Venezuela, Lebanon, no, no, no. New Zealand. There we are. Number 16th in the world. Number 16, that's good, isn't it? An erectus member length, on average, of 15.79 centimeters. Now, the only ruler I could find is 14 centimeters. This is a weird one that Shannon has.
Starting point is 00:26:59 What is this, like a makeup thing? It's like, no, it's got like, post-its. Oh, okay. It has a 14, well, I guess 15. Well, it's like an office ruler post-it note thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So just under Cuba, we are flanked by Cuba and Zambia. Australia.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Yes, did we beat them? So under New Zealand, it goes Zambia slightly smaller, Belize slightly smaller, and Gola slightly smaller. Brazil slightly smaller. We are Australia, there you are. We're punching, are we? Yeah, we're all good. We're doing something.
Starting point is 00:27:31 So New Zealand is only 0.8 centimeters. Yeah, 0.08 centimetres below Cuba. Not that it matters. It's not a competition. It's about what you do with the exact. We're in the top 8.2% of countries. Either that or... We also have a very mixed race population as well.
Starting point is 00:27:55 How long is... What's the number one country? So Sudan. Sudan. the average length incident? I'll round up to a 0.5, 18 centimetres. Take a deep breath.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Just under the, what is it, Democratic Republic of Congo? Doctor Congo. Such a shame they're at war all the time the Dominican Republic. Ecuador just under that, yeah. So, yeah, I mean, this is such a, it's really interesting like how they got the sort, like there's so many sources. They use, but also self-reported.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Eight different studies from, from world data everywhere. Abby's messaged in, she just thinks this study shows that New Zealanders will lie about anything. We are a surprisingly presence at the top amongst countries that are, I would say,
Starting point is 00:28:44 we're the first white country there, aren't we? Popular known. So what were we 15 centimeters? So you were 16th in the ranking with an average length of 15.79 full mast. Because 135 said 15, I must not be from here all of a sudden. What the hell are?
Starting point is 00:29:00 Now, what the hellie on the end makes it feel like they're less than 15, doesn't know. Yeah, right. I'm not even going to say who's at the bottom because it doesn't matter. It's how you use it. It's how you use it. Who? I'm not saying. It doesn't even matter.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Oh, Haley, just say it. We want to know now. Okay, right. You know? And, Sawadika. Kapunkaka. I have never been with a Thai member. But they make up for it with the foot rubs.
Starting point is 00:29:27 God, yeah. Yeah. And the pad tie. And the chicken pan tie. The pad tie is such a boring dish. It is the how long of their penises? The 12 centimetre penis of the world. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:38 9.43. Oh, no, hon. Oh, hon. It's okay. It doesn't. You get good at other things. You get it good at other things. Like foot rubs in.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Other rubs. I will say we're well ahead of the money bags. Well ahead of the UK, well ahead of USA, New Zealand. Oh, wait. This is fantastic. Really good. They do want to say that it is built on a list of blokes measuring themselves. Yeah, so either that or we're just better liars.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Play that ends, Fleshhorn and Haley. This is devastating news. If you like me, love a man with a lovely ponytail or some long hair or something shaggy like that. Oh, okay. Well, just two bald guys are right here. I love a ball brother. I love a ball brother. But also Erling Harland,
Starting point is 00:30:28 who is Manchester City striker He was the guy in the World Cup that everybody was in love with He's a loose unit man I follow on social media Yeah you rock back from the world
Starting point is 00:30:39 Like his taxi dermie Arm off a private jet Yeah he's like super tall and like Blonde He's the Viking He's mad Yeah he's Norwegian right Yeah
Starting point is 00:30:48 In his in himself He Where were they on the list One moment please call it I love that you've still got it open I'm not closing This is a study. Norway, you are at an average length of 14.3.4.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Less than us. I'm scrolling miles before we get to New Zealand. Well down the rankings. Probably not Erling Harland, though. He is tall. So he, if you didn't know him from his sport or from walking off of a private jet with a piece of taxi derm he tucked under his arm and his love of the famous Birken bags.
Starting point is 00:31:26 And the fact that last year he was paid 27.3 million Great British pounds to play football. You can have a tiny member and earn that much money. He was known for his lovely long blonde hair, so much that he was like AI photoshopped into some like hair ads for like bridal, you know, hair styles and that kind of stuff. It was very funny. Shaved it off. He's got a buzz cut.
Starting point is 00:31:53 He's gone from one extreme to the other. Apparently a lot of people trying to talk him out of it. He posted the whole thing on YouTube, called up his friends, like Noel Gallagher, and was like, here you go, I've shaved off my hair. He was like, nah, I'm in the mood. He didn't, they... Wow, it is shaved, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:32:11 Yeah. It's really shamed. Okay. So the internet was crying yesterday. And then the name Conorris story started popping up. Now, Conorri is one of the stars of heated rivalry. He plays the Russian. Shaved his hair off.
Starting point is 00:32:25 Now, he's got also had... Wait, They're filming. They're filming at the moment. Yeah. Well, are they done maybe? And he was like, get this off. No, they're about to.
Starting point is 00:32:32 I think they were just starting. Yeah, well, he's chopped with his curly hair ahead of filming the show's second season. There you go. So this was just yesterday that he did it. Like buzz cut all over, not like short sides or long top. He would suit that, though. Oh, he looks hot. I'll say Erling Harlan's lost a little bit of his razzle-dazzle for me.
Starting point is 00:32:55 He doesn't suit the buzz car? But Connor's story looked hot. See, this is a problem when people shave the... The bald guys shaved their hair off. Oh, it's a real roll of the dice. Some people don't suit a bus cut or a bald head. No, no, no, no, no, they don't. Did you, the first time that you were like, I'm going to get rid of what's there,
Starting point is 00:33:12 were you like nervous it wasn't going to be you? That you were going to look and be like, I'm one of the unlucky ones? No, I don't think so. No, I don't really think. I just buzz cutted it for a while. Just did it? Lower, lower, lower, lower. It was that or a comb over.
Starting point is 00:33:24 How bad could you shape your head? possibly be it. He looks really good with the buzz cards. But is this a new tree now, we're saying? Bus cuts. Lots of people were doing that kind of shaggy, you know, like what's his name from the beer? Jeremy Allen White. Everyone was like
Starting point is 00:33:40 letting that kind of like rough, like I don't even know what I'm doing thing and now we're like buzz cuts apparently. Are we preparing for World War III? Yeah, yeah. And I'll be joining. Yeah. Actually, get the razor out. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fleshhorn and Haley.
Starting point is 00:33:58 we're going to be a little bit sweet here, maybe a little bit of earnest, which is not like me, but someone over the weekend described me to someone else. And I've been described as many things. I think if I said, describe me in three words, yours would be. A bit much. Yeah. I've been described as a living tornado. Yeah. But someone described me to my new boyfriend as a disco ball. And I was like, what? And then she was like, sparkly and fun. And I was like, oh, that's so nice. I'd still take that the wrong way.
Starting point is 00:34:32 It'd be like, oh, bulbous. Yeah. Oh, okay, so I'm round. Fat and round. And reflective. So pale, you're reflective. Yeah, yeah. Blinding and bulbous.
Starting point is 00:34:44 But no, I was like a disco ball. I was like, I've never been called a disco ball before, but I really liked it. It's pretty nice. Come into a room, you know, for sparkly and fun. And I was like, it made me feel good. And I was telling you guys about it. And I was like, wouldn't it be nice to hear from people? to 9-6-96, text in or I'm 800 d'A dem.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Just three words? Just three words. I'm limiting it. Otherwise we're going, she is the reason that I live. She is my soulmate. You know, and women in particular, we love to go about our best days.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Three words. Describe your best friend. And I want you to be, like, think outside of the box like a disco ball. We've got so many messages in already. One said, where's China? So I think that I'm confused. They're still wondering about the member rankings
Starting point is 00:35:26 were earlier in the hour. Oh, where's China on the list? I was just like China. It's in the ocean. Up. Over there? Up and aside. Most things are up.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Yeah. Someone just message in my fire starter. I like that. That's good. You're going out. They get in there and they start your fire. We asked on Instagram some of the responses. Tripby said crazy pregnant woman.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Soulmate, Molly's put Soulmate as one word. I think she's just trying to squeeze forward. into a three-word answer. Soulmate, slag and shagger. No, soulmate is one word. Is it? Yep, soulmate. So soulmate, slag and shagger.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Got the first one started nice. She sounds fun. She sounds fun. She sounds fun. She sounds like a cup of tea. Bad-ass, Belarusian, Laboooooooooo. Wow. Tits, tan, and talent. Great.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Love this. Keeps me sane. Good. We have such a mix here of fat, ugly cabbage. Now, 6-14. I hope your best friend doesn't listen to us. No, it's one of those loving friendships so you can say things.
Starting point is 00:36:30 You can't say to other people. Until it's not funny. Yeah. Fun Haley leaves the room. Until fun. Cool, fun. Okay. Texan 966.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Some of these are really nice. Some of them are really unhinged. I want you to let us know. Describe your best friend in three words. I'm a disco ball. This is very sweet and also very, Rude. Describe your best friend in three words. You can be as creative as you like. I was described by someone over the weekend as a disco ball. Bright and sparkly.
Starting point is 00:37:05 Fun and sparkly in a room. Love that. Thank you very much. Braden. Braden. Morning, team. How's it going? Good morning. Describe your bestie in three words. All right. Well, first of all, I have to say, I'm a long-time list. First-time call us. Oh, love it to have you. The bell's just there. That's behind my dream bottle. Here we go. There we go. Welcome, Michael, Michael, Michael. Welcome.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Welcome. All right. My best mate, Michael, the three words I'd used to describe him would be chaotic skucks energy. Scutts energy. What makes Michael a skucks? He is effortlessly the coolest guy in every room he walks into. And it is so unfair. Yeah, but, Braden, you're in his aura, you know?
Starting point is 00:37:46 You're following around in that skux, skucks cloud. It's good to be there. I must admit. Do you have much skuxness? Is that the word, correct? I've got so much skuxness that I've got a long-term partner, and that's the best skucks you can be. Yeah, that's skucks as, man.
Starting point is 00:38:03 Are we still saying scucks, are we? L losers don't get long-time partners, mate. That's scucks as. Exactly. I love it. Exactly. Braden, thank you. Let's go to Steph.
Starting point is 00:38:11 I love to the skucks to luck. Steph, three words to describe your bestie. She's my sounding board. Right. So if you've got something that you want to do that seems a little off, you'll put it past your sounding board. Oh, definitely. Yeah, got you.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Anything. How long have you been besties for? Well, she's my sister. Oh, wait, so who's older? You or her? She's older by, I think, maybe just over a year. Right. Mom and dad weren't much.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Jesus, wait, so you... Get down to it. Get down on it. Wow, so you... She's been your bestie your whole life. Yes. Are you who bestie? Because sometimes it is a one-way street.
Starting point is 00:38:51 No, definitely. Couldn't imagine being besties with a sibling. No. No, these guys don't understand that's Steph being close to one sibling. No. No. Steve, thank you.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Ali, three words to describe your bestie? Cold slaw, spicy mayo. Okay, why? Is your best friend indeed a coleslaw, spicy mayonnaise? Yeah, she is. Yeah, she's got a bit of spice to her. She mulls me out with the mayo side. Like she's got the voice of red.
Starting point is 00:39:22 reason. Oh yeah. And the cabbage is that she's really intelligent, but sometimes, honestly, like, the cabbage just comes out. Oh, book smarts, not street smarts. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You need the mayo to make the cabbage palatable, though, don't you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Cabbage is delicious and cabbage is even better, especially when it's fried. Especially when it's got a bit of spice in it. Oh, yeah. Fried cabbage. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:42 Oh, yeah. Put a bit of butter. Glazes right up. So we don't agree, Sally. We're not talking about actual cabbage. It's her best. And what's your bestie's name? I'm not rather not saying
Starting point is 00:39:54 Because you don't want to And you don't want someone else to be like I thought I was Ellie's best thing Yeah exactly Exactly see It's like it's like primary school All over again Knows that they're the spicy cabinet council
Starting point is 00:40:06 Exactly Ellie thank you some messages in My Circus monkey Is the one past alternative king Oh I love that Emotional baggage handler My pure star Two-faced narcissist
Starting point is 00:40:21 Okay, that's not. I don't think that's your best friend. Okay, that doesn't sound healthy. Yeah. Three words to describe your best friend, like the closest friend, to who faced narcissist? Two trills zip tied together.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Now that's four words, but also very confusing. Yeah, you've cheated there. Oh, no, I know that one. That's that meme where they put the drills, they zip tie them together and they see which one breaks first. They just smash around on the ground.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Tupper wear hungie pants. Oh, I don't think we're calling people Hungiepants. Are we? Clever glittery goddess. I love that. Imaginary invisible non-existent. Someone doesn't have a best friend.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Autistic silly goose. And we're back. And we're back. Yeah, we're back. Non-profitable organization. Excuse me? I don't think I've heard the term organization before. No, I like it, though.
Starting point is 00:41:15 We drink wine. I mean, that's the beautiful foundation of a friendship. Sweet giant mallow puff. Um, Pash Fanny Rash Maybe that's an in story. Okay, yeah, I think we need the story. Emotional support, Gremlin.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Yeah, pain in ass. Yeah. Pest Alternative King. Pest alternative king. Yeah. Top or bottom. All of it. The doctor's favourite.
Starting point is 00:41:44 The doctor's favourite. Oh. Oh, I need to know more on that place. Are they a doctor maybe? A manic cyclist bitch? Right. Bestie doesn't exist. We had another one of those. No, we could hook up those two.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Unhinged comic relief? Yeah. Someone said I've always described her as a grotty-hotty. We need another word. A grotty-hotty-hotty. Oh, are grotty-hotty. I like that. Yeah, but is there another word that rhymes with hotty to get all three of them rhyming?
Starting point is 00:42:11 Grotty, hot-y-bottie. Hot-bottie, yeah. Add it to the hot-bott. Describe my friends in three words, Fletch, Forne and Haley. That's a beautiful, beautiful. That's a sad parasarro social relationship. You've got going on there. I don't know you.
Starting point is 00:42:25 You'd probably need to get that some real life. I love you, but I don't know you. Yeah. What are you trying to push them away? Slopi Grotty Hottie. I'm trying to keep them in a safe distance. Someone said sloppy grottie hodgey. Because the farts are sloppy.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Oh, yuck. Hot me sister. Yeah. The crazy cat lady. Sort of a love, hate with the bestie situation. Yeah, isn't it? The Z&M Podcast Network. I am still on Garry.
Starting point is 00:42:51 clean up. I was just not in the mood. Yes, and I'm trying to get things out. Like a few little bits and bobs. I've got some, you know, Salvation Army drop-off type things. You're renovating your garage, turn it into an old folks home. Yeah, an old folks home for Patsy and Craig, my parents. Yeah. Yeah, maybe I'll get a nurse in there.
Starting point is 00:43:10 That'll be great. She could sleep on the couch, you know, live a nurse. You should get a big, like, rest home logo above the garage. So it is a tradition in our family to name our houses. give it a name. Like I'm Mill Cottage and they were Jean-Kille Cottage in their last one and their one in Italy is called Regalo de Mattoe like gift from Matthew. Oh la la
Starting point is 00:43:29 I know. Regalo de Mattoe. So my granddad, when he died, they left my dad a bit of money and they put that towards the house. It was a gift from Matthew. Anyway, we have these names and I've been like, oh, what are we going to call the garage? I should totally give it a rest home name. Ryman Cottage. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Or Mill Road Ryman. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's work on that. that's funny, I like this. And get one of those buzzers if they have a fall. Yes, to the front house. You're right? And just rings a bell. You're right?
Starting point is 00:43:59 Yeah, like one of those St. John's ones. It'll be good. Well, we've got, I've got... You need a little alarm. Like vintage, but they're really powerful. I've tested them down the street, walkie-talkies. Oh, yeah, great. Have those on.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Yeah. We've slipped in the shower. Oh, how bad is it? I just put a movie on. Anyway, so, yeah, my parents are going in there, a couple little bits and bobs to move out before the real damn. smoke and start. And what was I bloody looking for?
Starting point is 00:44:24 I've got my little box of, you know, a donation goods that I'm going to drop off today. Quality. Yeah. Tell you what, if you're heading out to the bloody curmew area. Everybody thinks when they're dropping off to the Salmation Army. No, I've got Mucci, I've got some sort of homewares in there. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Bit of shit is. Yep. Some Anco plates. Everyone's like, you'll love these. Yeah, yeah, chip to smithereens, but that's what makes them, you know, gives them charm. Anyway, so there's a box there, and I see, there was like one thing in there that I was like,
Starting point is 00:44:51 I'm not sure if I want to get rid of that, you know me, hate throughout anything. And so I moved this music stand that I had in there, perfectly good. It would grow. That would go for a nice cheap, right? And I move it, and I feel like a needle come through the bag and, like, get me right in the finger. And I was like, far out, man. I was so sore. But then immediately it went like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:45:13 And I was like, that's a sting. That is a sting. Scorpion. Nah, wasp. Okay. Oh, not quite as exciting as a scorpion. So the sucker didn't die as well, which really annoyed me. Because I sort of moved it and I was like, what was that?
Starting point is 00:45:28 Look at my finger. And I looked down and I see the, crawling around like that, having just pricked me. And then have you, where was the last time we were sung by wasp? You've been saying by was? Yeah, like, went through my summer. Last summer. I was trimming hedges and we went through them. Yeah. It's horrible.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Really burns. I was like, oh my God, this is, you know, this could be the end. Who knows it could be allergic. Unlike you to be dramatic. Run to the house. Run to the front house and I go in there and I get it under some cold water immediately. And then I see the white.
Starting point is 00:46:01 It's going white and the finger's going hard and red and I was like, oh my God, quickly yank my ring off because I was like, that's going to get stuck. And that's new. That's from gay Paris. You know what I'm? Oh, it is tight. Anyway, so I get there. And then suddenly the pain like, it's gone. And I was like, this feels like something
Starting point is 00:46:17 that's going to be worse tomorrow. You know what I mean? It's true. and hot and hard. Itchy, hot, hard disc. Nothing. Like, it is completely gone. And this has led me only to believe,
Starting point is 00:46:26 I've absorbed its power. Sort of a Spider-Man situation, but with wasps. Man, what cool powers are you going to get as a wasp? I'm not kidding you. I feel stronger. You're going to eat, like, wet wood. Great for someone who lives in a house
Starting point is 00:46:42 of so much borer. So much. And your mom bought that whole massive... And it's been in the garage. Damn pass. as damp as. You'd chew on that. I swear to God, like, I've been feeling a little
Starting point is 00:46:52 off recently. You know, I was having trouble pooping. I'm immediately. The adrenaline. It's the wasp power. I genuinely think the wasp sting. Look, there's not even a trace of it. I don't know about wasps things,
Starting point is 00:47:04 but people swear by bee sting therapy and that time I got 23 beastings in two minutes. I slept really well that night. Yeah, but you were quite depressed at the time. I think you just wanted to feel quite a lot. It just woke me up. Yeah, yeah. Stick my hand into the be hive next one and be like, have that.
Starting point is 00:47:17 We did tell you not. to buy that B-suit from Timo. Remember? They were feral, man. They were their same. I've worn that a hundred times since. The genuine leather. Yeah, but genuine, we've talked about genuine
Starting point is 00:47:28 leather. Genuine leather is the loophole. It's the lowest grade of leather. Yeah, it's more of the brand than it is a statement. Right, right. Okay. Well, genuinely, I feel like I've absorbed. I feel strong. I feel energized. I've pooped. I feel literally like I'm, I'm the Wasp Woman and just
Starting point is 00:47:44 watch the space for my cool superpowers of what is it, gnawing on wet wood. nor on where wood and stinging people in general being invasive and annoying. And being fine. The ZAM Podcast Network. ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley. 0,800-ZM, give us a little text oruni 966. We are not gatekeeping on this show.
Starting point is 00:48:02 What is the thing you love so much that you buy it multiple times? Like at a go, you're like, I'm going to get three of these. Like Fletcher's blue, flex he fit hats when he does his yearly order of 20. Oh my God. And they come from Rebel Sports all over the country. They're the only hat that fits me, okay? I'd love to get a new hat. But it's so funny, all these packages turn up to work in different lots,
Starting point is 00:48:21 like three in that one from Waikato, two from the South Island. It's pretty good start. Brilliant. Well, and I'm not going to gatekeep on this. It's the mesh comfort wire-free bralet from Nala. Well, you've been using this for years. I have. You've done to tell Haley?
Starting point is 00:48:37 I have been using this bra for years. Well, this was the thing I was feeling a bit sagging. And look across at Vaughn and think, why is he so pert today? And that's why. And I said, don't gatekeep. And he told me it was the mesh comfort wire-free brawere. bra from Nala and it arrived yesterday on my doorstep, but I opened and I was like, oh, a bit much I bought four.
Starting point is 00:48:53 But I'd worn them down, the last one had worn down so much, it was almost worse than not wearing a bra. I was like, these things are swang and low. And you know, I'd like pull the elastic. That's a good snap on a new bra. Yeah, that's, that's time. This was like, you'd pull it and it would go, hmm, like the elastic was busted. And I have all these other bras, but I was like, that's the one I reach for every single day.
Starting point is 00:49:17 and so I bought four of them because you never know when a brand goes we're not doing that one anymore Oh yeah Four in black They came out Got it on today and I was like Holy moly who knew they were supposed to sit up there
Starting point is 00:49:29 You know they're tight They're in place But comfortable Because it's the mesh comfort wifery bralet from Nala Non-spawn I pay I think I do have a code Can't remember what it is Try my name
Starting point is 00:49:40 But I want to know What is the thing That you buy multiple times Like your hat My Brasson's Whiskey One leader. I don't think that... No, I think...
Starting point is 00:49:49 Just we'll go more sort of like things that sort of fulfill your life rather than... Hey. Maybe than, yeah. Maybe than addiction. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:58 I am seeing our therapist on Thursday. We do share a therapist. Cheaper than therapy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For a while it was just sort of easy to share a therapist, sort of cross-reference. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:50:07 Anyway, I want to know what is the thing that you buy multiple times? You love it so much. We love it so much. Yeah. Let's not gate keep. We're going to read them out.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Black A.S. color t-shirts. These boys love it. Yeah, they do a solid t-shirt. I've got a lot of room in my heart for ayes color, but it's not the basics, cheap shop it used to be. Well, that's just life now worn. Everything's expensive. Shut up life. That's what I'll say to that. Yeah, yeah. I don't know. You find a pair of jeans that you like. You're like, well, I like
Starting point is 00:50:35 these. Oh, someone said, Angel, I wants to know if this is the brayer I wore during my show, because if you didn't see my show, I do take off my clothes and stand in the bra. That is a Nala bra, but that was the padded t-shirt bra. Just for a bit more. for a public display of the Tartas. Oh, train spotter there. Right, really? Yeah. I mean, the honkers look for non-on stage.
Starting point is 00:50:54 I get it, Angel. But what is the thing? Give us a call. 0800 Z-DM or a Texeroni 966. The thing you love so much, you buy it in bulk. Now, I want to know what is the thing that you love so much you buy in bulk. Mine is the bra that I'm wearing today. We've got it from Nala, and I bought four of them, just in case.
Starting point is 00:51:11 Yeah. I want to go back. How many bras does the average woman own? I don't know I mean you've got brass for different occasions but when you find one that is just so comfortable that the girls are held but not uncomfortable you get it
Starting point is 00:51:26 because when I find my undies that I like I buy heaps I always do that yeah do a restop because what if what if one day they're gone they changed the recipe of mine if it's that time and I didn't love it but I've got used to it
Starting point is 00:51:37 but they definitely changed the recipe always feel a bit disappointed what did they change in the recipe the breathability maybe I just got fat who knows but what I need You know. They've made them tighter.
Starting point is 00:51:47 They've made them tighter in the thighs. Tight around the top bit. Yeah, there are two. In my undies, they change all the 14s to 16s. Yeah, and they're going to be putting too much room in the package part at the front. Oh, okay. I don't need to be that much room stuff.
Starting point is 00:52:00 It would tighten it up. Yeah. Rattling around. Railing around in there. Could you take them to an alteration station and just get the seam? That's actually not a bad idea. It's not a bad shout, actually. Taking your undies to the same stress.
Starting point is 00:52:12 I'm just me. I'm just bored. I've got some new onies. Could you take him? Take in the dick bulge, please. No need. I don't need it. Michelle's called Michelle.
Starting point is 00:52:21 What do you buy a lot of in bulk because you love? Morena, team. I buy the PAM's hot multi-drink instead of Milo because Milo changed the recipe, right? Quite a while ago. Okay. Pam's hot, malted drink. Doesn't sound, doesn't roll off the tongue quite as nicely as Milo.
Starting point is 00:52:40 No one doesn't have a drink. Or herbal team. Yeah. Could they have, Pam's have just called it Marlowe or something, or close, close enough? Something like that. But it is Pam's hot, multi-drink, and it is the best, and I buy four every fortnight because I'm a little bit greedy, but I love it.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Okay. Excuse you. Like mine. We've got four every four nights, and that's two bags a week. How many hot chocolates are you having? Well, we have one a night, and sometimes a little bit more. But, you know, I'm quite generous with the scoops as well. You've got a heap the teaspoons on, don't you?
Starting point is 00:53:14 Yeah, yeah. I get it, man. Yeah. You got gatekeeping on the Pam's hot, malted tree. I would have called it MOLTO. Yeah. That's catchy. Put it in a slightly off green tin.
Starting point is 00:53:24 Pamolto. Now that sounds like a Pamilo. I would have called it Pamilo. And I would have said, come at. Who owns Milo? Nestle? Nestle. Nestle.
Starting point is 00:53:35 Nes like bring it on. Abby, what are you gatekeeping? What's the thing that you love so much of you buy a lot of it? I buy the Lorna Jane. that lotus leggings or workout types. Are they the scrunchy butt ones? No, not scrunchy butt. They're just like, nice, aye.
Starting point is 00:53:52 I don't know what it is about, and they're like, hug my body, that it fit perfectly. I think it might be low-key, my little bit of tism that I've gotten me, that it's the sensory that I love the feel of them. I don't know. Good squeeze. But I buy, like, three pairs, like, every three months because I'm just obsessed. Yeah, they always do a deal on the lotus leggings, eh?
Starting point is 00:54:09 I've got the shorts as well. They're good. They're good. They're good. They're good. They're good. just the, just above the ankle, the ankle biters. That's what I get, Abby.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Yeah, they're the best. Thank you. Praise B. Praise B. Praise B. Praise B. Praise B. Praise B to Lorna Jane. Roshal said soft like butter. Those leggings? Soft like butter. Yeah, they are soft like butter. Are they soft like butter? Soft like butter. Okay. Soft like butter, but not like they still hold you, eh, AB. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:33 I feel like you need a discount code. Haley 10. You'll see me in the Lorna. Yeah. Shout out, Lorna. Yeah. Shout out, my name's Abby. Yeah, Abby 10. Try Abby 10. Try AB10 at checkout. Thank you, Abby. Some messages in. Dude, somebody said, I second the hot malted chocolate from Pams.
Starting point is 00:54:48 It's amazing. They call it chocka, choker. Choker. C-H-O-C-A. Oh, like, Chocop. Okay, so that was Anthony. And then Jimmer said, I second the Pams hot multi-cholid.
Starting point is 00:54:58 It's mylon hot chocolate mixed against. So technically, technically that's a third. What are Pam's shots fired at Milo from Pams? Oh, actually, we've had a fourth endorsement. Totally agree with the Pams malt drink. Okay, interesting. Yeah. Maybe they should work on the name, though.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Yeah, Pam's, Hot, molten, hot chocolate chocolate. They always spell it out, eh? But that's why it's so cheap because they don't work on names. They don't pay for marketing. They're just like, it's yum. It'll find its way.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Farmers' body code t-shirts, nice colours and make great tops for work since we have no uniform. Oh, nice. Father's body code t-shirts. Okay, Vanta boxes. The pouch keeps the boys separate and enhance the look.
Starting point is 00:55:38 Oh, it gives you a bit with a shun. Wait a minute. What does it mean? There's a chance. for the trunk. Oh, there are some where you kind of pull up the member from the balls and you can slip it
Starting point is 00:55:51 into a slot. Nut cup and comfort. They call it, they call it. I'll tell you why. I'm glad you two haven't opened up this page because we've got a case of a well-endowed, brown-skinned, light-eyed gentleman. I'm just going to walk around just about far apart.
Starting point is 00:56:10 Look at... Well, now, I've got to come around and look at the laptop. Look at that. Yeah, goodness, mate. Good tattoos. Good tattoos. Talia, if you want to go to VantorN-N-T-A-D-A-D-A-D-A-D-A-Store,
Starting point is 00:56:23 just catch an eye full of this. Catch your web URL there, just for listeners. Back to the brown one. Yeah, I don't know if we can specifically, he's modelling the underpants. I don't know if I click on, nah, see if I click on him, I'm not getting that. Anyway, look, you can purve on your own time. Back to the... I'm not perver, I'm just looking after those who enjoy, you know?
Starting point is 00:56:40 Help you guys out. Get through the work. Hey, whatever it takes to get through the work. that workday. We love it. Probably not. HR probably won't have that. My husband loves his vantas. Really? Is your husband a brown man with tattoos, sort of eight-pack? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:53 I don't know about separating it in the underwear. It doesn't sound comfortable. No. It doesn't, does it? Someone said you've sold me on the Lorna James, Mr. the name. It's the Lotus Legging. I'll tell you why. I'll support for Pam's hot chocolate's flowing it. That's all we're getting messages for now is Pam's. And everybody just wants
Starting point is 00:57:09 to talk about their favorite Pam's product. Can we get a F-EH-10 on a Pam's hot-eat chalk? Surely. You want an F-E-H discount card? I'm just wondering if we've got to hook up at PAMS, Carlin. Just try PAMS 10. Actually, Pam gets a discount. Those decadent Pans chocolate biscuits, I've had to stop buying them.
Starting point is 00:57:29 So naughty. You're so naughty. They are so naughty. I try them for the children's lunchboxes, but I find myself in their most nights. Can you call PAM? I don't think there is a PAM. Yeah, there was a PAM. was named after. Remember, we looked this up in some
Starting point is 00:57:42 1930s, seven of the 1930s. We looked up the history of the hands on the show. Oh, well, cooked, mate. Dead. Nothing but dust. Try dead ten. She might have got one for her death. I'd like to think her tombstone is a Oh, Pam, someone said shout- This could just become a shout-up for Pam.
Starting point is 00:57:58 Pam's brioche buns. Actually, not a bad shout-in. Oh, they slap. Brioche buns as burger buns. Of course. Not to be messed with. We had that on Sunday. Yeah, no, no, no. I can't understand anyone and they would opt for a plain bun if Brea- was an option.
Starting point is 00:58:11 And here's the thing on a Pam's brouche. Go ahead. Get that in a steamer. Just for a little bit. Just for a little bit. The bottom and then a steam. Pop it. Cut it in half before you put it in the steamer
Starting point is 00:58:23 because if you just put the whole thing in extent of the steam through, you're going to get a wet bun. We don't want a soggy outside. You don't want a soggy bun. Uh-uh. No. We had a man message in saying,
Starting point is 00:58:31 yeah, I can say Vantas are very comfortable, especially if you are on the bigger side. Thanks for messaging. Why are you taking? Oh, okay. Cheers, Anthony. What a humble break there. Guys, just letting you know,
Starting point is 00:58:40 I've got a massive wang and I love these undies. I just want to support this brand. Good for people like me. Someone said what is the bra. But he's just feeding the hose into a separate bit of the undies. It doesn't seem right.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Feed the hose. Feed the hose. It was actually Pam's original slogan when they invented the hot truck. Feed the hose. To the text, we're asking about the bra, back to the briech comfort wireless bra
Starting point is 00:59:08 from bralette from Nala. non-spone. None of this is spawned. But we're trying to get a FVH10 on all of it. Especially those vantas. If we're getting it on the Pam's train, it seems we are. There we go. They're margarita pizza with the pesto and the F-row. Not to be tangoed with. Absolutely delicious.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Chowder. How do you steamer? How could we do this? You just get it, like put a little bit of water in the pan and put a bowl over it. Hold it over the kettle. Also, you could. Seriously. Yeah, just get some water boil and get that over the top. You might burn your hand.
Starting point is 00:59:38 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, someone's got a red-hot recommendation on getting a bit of mayonnaise on the bun. Yeah. Put it in the pan. You've got sealed the bun. That's how I do my toast and sandwiches. I don't do butter on the outside.
Starting point is 00:59:51 I do mayonnaise because of this crisp little fatty tear. Yeah, right. So what was that? How's that cholesterol level? We stop looking. When I bring myself going to worry about what's going to kill me, it's a race for what's going to kill me at this stage. Will it be the stress?
Starting point is 01:00:03 Will it be the bad thing? Will it be the family's history of heart problems? Will it be colon cancer? Will it be cholesterol? Catch me if you can. The only thing that's not going to kill me is my lungs. Never smoked. No, you had one with me last year after the radio awards
Starting point is 01:00:18 and you felt sick afterwards. Yeah. God, they really go to your head. Play ZM's Flash for an haley. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day. It's ice cream week here at Factor the Day, and if you listen carefully, dear listener, you can hear Haley enjoying some ice cream right now.
Starting point is 01:00:50 The sandwich bit. That you might not have heard that because it was so subtle and ladylike. I've never had one of these before. She said Duck. Duck Island sends us some of the ice cream sandwiches, which Fletch loves. I love, yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:05 These are the ones you go get that. These are the ones you go. I always get that. The Duck Island. Ice cream sandwiches. If you have a really hot hookup, you're like, guess what? Daddy's about to show you. Absolutely not.
Starting point is 01:01:14 Are you not paying for a hookup? No, pay for your own. Pay for your own Dark Island. I'm taking notes. By the way, I've decided to start taking notes on how Fletch lives and apply it more to my life. That's a great idea. Well, like financially, everything. This guy's got no stress, everything.
Starting point is 01:01:29 Okay, so make them pay for themselves. He looks the best out of us. He's good. He's doing well. Yep, no peptides either yet. Yet. We're against them to win off. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:39 I'm giving it till November. I saw someone yesterday at the gym and I was like, oh my God, they're peptiding. I was like, isn't it bad that if someone just decided sometime in 2026 to be like, nah, I'm knuckling down. I'm not clinging down, I'm doing it right. I'm eating right, I'm exercising, I'm going to do it. I haven't done it for 15 years and they've lost weight every inch behind their backs.
Starting point is 01:01:58 Just like, peptides. Peptides are definitely on the jazz. No, but definitely like, I've known this person for like 10 years. Oh, really? They've got on the peptides. 100%. This is delicious, by the way. Today's fact of the day about ice cream.
Starting point is 01:02:11 It's ice cream week. And today's fact of the day is it takes three litres of milk to make one liter of ice cream. Seems wasteful. Three litres of milk. So it's in a tip-top two-liter, for example. Yes. Got six litres of milk to make that. Because you only want the fattiest parts of the milk to make the ice cream.
Starting point is 01:02:30 Oh, yeah. And that's what brings us to talking about which cow makes the best ice cream. Which cow do you think makes the best ice cream? ones. Black and white ones. Brown ones. So you're talking about horsy caramel. You're talking about jerseys. Silver top cows. Silver top cows. Jersey cows produce
Starting point is 01:02:48 notably less milk by volume than the bigger Holstein frisians, the black and whites. The Jersey think of Jersey caramels. The black and white ones, the other Holstein frisians. But what they do is produce a far richer milk. So Jersey milk runs about 30% higher in butterfat and 20% higher in protein. So that's the stuff we want to make
Starting point is 01:03:06 the ice cream. So they've got the butter fats sits at about 4.5 to 5% and the whole stands are at 3.5. So the extra fat is where Jersey milk's the go-to for cheese. Who doesn't love cheese?
Starting point is 01:03:17 Everyone loves cheese. Yeah, I saw a good meme. It was like, why are you trying to please everybody? It's not like your cheese or something. Yeah. Good. Such a good range of cheese. Butter and, of course, ice cream.
Starting point is 01:03:29 So a jersey herd, next time you're driving around in the country and you see the golden cows. We've also got this New Zealand Kiwi cross, which is a cross of them and they're a bit darker than your standard jersey so that are not pedigree jerseys. It's what he ran on the farm.
Starting point is 01:03:43 Right. And God, he won some awards for his milk solids. Did he? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Of course he did. His super low semantic cell count. He won that multiple years in a row.
Starting point is 01:03:50 So, shout out the dairy farmers. It was massive in the industry. Really? Oh, they were framed in the back porch. Framed? Framed in the back porch. What did he win? Lowest somatic cell count?
Starting point is 01:04:01 No, but what did he, what was the prize? No, I wanted the title. Bragging rights. Lowest sematic cell count and some in some, um, amount of his milk solids. I had no idea that when I've been with Ian, that I've been in the presence of the winner
Starting point is 01:04:14 of the lowest semantic cell count. Yeah. And beautiful milk solids. Yeah. I'm treating him just sort of like an equal. No, no. Yeah. Super clean shed.
Starting point is 01:04:24 Oh, really? And cleanest shed. Well, that's what led to the lowest semantic cell count. It was one of the aspects that went into the lowest semantic cell count. It's super clean shit. Sounds like he's got some kind of cleaningtism. He does. You know autism can be hereditary, but that's,
Starting point is 01:04:38 Like I look, but they say Oh, there wasn't autism back of the day, I look at my Popper, I'm like, that guy was like riddle top to bottom. Oh, that is right. Always had to pick him up from the train station. I loved it. He was at the opening of the Kymai train tunnel. Of course he was. And him and his mates went for a walk to find that crashed plane
Starting point is 01:04:54 in the range of, oh, there was a bit of tism there and then dad's got it and all the otherwise like a clean cow shed, but low a semantic cell count. So today's fact of the day's, next time you see a herd of Jersey cows, be sure to tell all your friends, those are the ones that make the best ice cream. Fact of the Day, day, day, day, day. Time.
Starting point is 01:05:10 Time. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day, day. Fact of the Day is brought to you by St. Piers. Fact today's sushi today is eight pieces of salmon supreme for $8.40. Just needed that edit point. Finish thing. La-da-da. That's the ones that make the best ice cream.
Starting point is 01:05:53 And fact of the day this week is brought you by St. Pierce. Are you not going to do it as a answer? No, I just decided we just needed some nice edit points. We'll get the fact of the day we did before. Slotted down in the minute. We'll put that an audio donor. This is all live. We'll push it all together.
Starting point is 01:06:06 No one can hear this. There's no. I don't get in. This is still behind the scenes. We could have just tuned in, didn't hear you forget the client credit before. Day two, by the way, of that client obligation and I forgot. Look, this is why I'll be taking this over in tomorrow. No, I'll be.
Starting point is 01:06:20 Someone to remind me. No, I'll be doing it because you forget. The irony of forgetting salmon, when salmon could help my... Yes, failing memory. My porridge brain. Now, we have just... Producer can want you to know that you will be editing this. I'm actually really good at it today.
Starting point is 01:06:36 For the podcast. Okay. You send to remind me to do it after the show. I'll get that dog. So cows, there's certain types of cows are fatty milk. So today's fact of the day about ice cream. Yeah. Wow, Molly's just messaged in.
Starting point is 01:06:50 This is the most iconic fact of the day. Thanks. Well, you haven't even said it. Someone said I need some of that salmon sushi. Could have sworn have heard this fact of the day already. No, that's the thing about salmon. It's good for the brain because the omega-3 is only to get into more of it, eight minutes air-fire fish oil burps tablets.
Starting point is 01:07:06 Yeah, great. Okay. So. Wow, amazing fact says Shani. I've never heard that before. Now I really want sushi after your ice cream fact. Fantastic. There we go.
Starting point is 01:07:16 I mean, that's a good tip. The two things go hand in hand. They do. Sushi and ice cream. It's sushi pudding, isn't it? Yeah. Yum. Yum.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Now, how would we make that work? Quick brainstorm on the show. We've done this before. Do you fry it? Do you deep fry a sushi and then dribble ice cream on? You'd go California rolling, you wouldn't have seaweed around the outside, but you could go sesame seeds. But you'd batter it.
Starting point is 01:07:36 And you could go creamed rice. Creamed rice banana-y type situation in the middle Crisps You know sort of like Pahling or something Just fry a little bit of ice cream on top Ice cream right there
Starting point is 01:07:47 Yeah Play ZDM's Fletch Vaughn and Haley Girl Math Girl Math Well that was a bit of a throwback It's been a while Has been
Starting point is 01:07:58 Since we've discussed girl math Now I think we need to address something And actually I've uncovered a whole world here That was we were unaware of So I was on Instagram just scrolling through my friends stories and whatnot and one of my
Starting point is 01:08:12 friends, old friends, her kids, birthday and all this kind of stuff. Do you not hide that in the feed? I sort of tap out quite quickly. Because you famously hide it at the engagement range. As soon as someone gets engaged because then you know you're going to get pregnancy scans and wedding, hoo-ha and all that. Yeah. Love this video.
Starting point is 01:08:31 Love that for you, but I'm out. You don't bring that energy towards me because it might sort of impregnate me. and that's not the goal. So I'm scrolling through and then I see a picture of her daughter and I was like, man, she's gotten big, you know, she's so tall now. I remember when she was, what the hell is she wearing? She's wearing a t-shirt.
Starting point is 01:08:51 I see the words, girl math on this t-shirt. Goodness me. Girl math and it's got a little thing that says you wouldn't understand and it's got some like, you know, animation or something like that underneath it. And I was like, those were not official merchandise. Now producer girlies, as the creators of girl math, surely we are due a cut. Well, famously the three of us, and actually the boys, had girl math shirts that we, Shannon, designed and we got made. But we didn't sell those.
Starting point is 01:09:23 No. No. I remember we had a discussion about budget and we could not justify using our own girl math to the company that we should get more shirts made. So we just got about six of the made. I remember the five of us had. Brad has one. Brad has one. And that was it.
Starting point is 01:09:38 You couldn't get your hands on there's a hot commodity. So I just went on there to go, I'll try and find the exact t-shirt that my friend's daughter was wearing because it would have been from New Zealand. I've uncovered a gold mine that we are not getting a cut off. Tell me, we will remind you. Oh, it's all over Sheehan.
Starting point is 01:09:55 Did anybody trademark anything? Yes, that's all over Etsy. We were the first people to use the hashtag, and that's why we credited with starting the trend. On Wikipedia. Here's one. You can buy it at Walmart. What?
Starting point is 01:10:08 Real? The basics of girl math, it's a graphic on a day. If you don't shop the sales, you're actually losing money. I mean, that's speaking our language. Anything under $5 is practically free. Maybe we need one of our, like, US listeners to send us some over. Are these kids' size? No, no, no, there's all sorts of sizes.
Starting point is 01:10:25 Yeah, normal size. There's like other ones. Girl math rules, not buying something from a sale is losing money, adding more to cart to receive free shipping. Paying for cash is basically three. It's basically free. It's basically free was our literal saying. our phrase.
Starting point is 01:10:40 They're everywhere. Is this how like Jesus or someone felt? Like when his messages been spread? Hey, you flesh this way out. Is this how Jesus felt? Go on. The amount of money Jesus has lost a thousand merch. Oh, what is that?
Starting point is 01:10:54 The OG author of the Bible is all I'm saying. He's lost so much money. Yeah, the OG author of the Bible. Now he did write him, God or something. He's on the way. God or something. No, the people that wrote it and got the chapters are named after the people who wrote it.
Starting point is 01:11:06 Oh, yeah. He wrote the man. You, John wrote the John. But he's been on the Wickles' bestseller list for ever. Yeah, dude. And I thought crucifix is in my house for decorative purposes. Well, it's like somebody ghost wrote his autobiography, really. And he didn't get a cut of it.
Starting point is 01:11:21 Look at this one here, it's basically free. At Girl Math, it's basically free. That's like our saying. That almost looks like our font too. ZM. Sue. Well, the next time you come up with an idea, get on the trademark website. Oh no, we've really missed something. Yeah, really good.
Starting point is 01:11:38 We could have been bathing in it. The ZAMP podcast network. Play ZM's Flash for it and Haley. We want to get nostalgic now. Yeah, go on. Loved collecting things as a kid. I can totally see why the Oshie Craze just kicks in. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:53 It's going pretty mad at the moment. The last few supermarkets I've been to don't have any Oshies left. Yeah, mine hasn't for like weeks, basically. But they did come out on Monday, Woolwoods and saying that you can win a platinum buzz light year. And that's going to be highly coveted. Because people were asking about this early on in the collectible craze. Because Australia had one in circulation maybe.
Starting point is 01:12:16 It was very rare. They had. There's a flocked bullseye. Bullseye is the horse from Toy Story. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Floct is when it's got like a velvety texture to the outside. Oh, okay. Some guy got one and it was listed for $40,000 Australian dollars.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Pass off. What? Calm down. Crazy. It's insane. But people will just like flashed. If you found one, you just sell it in the heat of the moment, I reckon, because I don't know if these things are going to keep going up in there.
Starting point is 01:12:42 Well, they're pretty smart with the platinum buzz lately. You've got to use your rewards and spend at least 30 bucks to go in the drawer. Yeah. And then I guess they'll just randomly select people to win some of these. Estimated value? Have they released an estimated value of the platinum buzz light year? Well, no, because, I mean, it is whatever people will pay for it online, I guess. When it hits Trade Me, if someone gets one.
Starting point is 01:13:05 We kind of laugh, but then you never know. know what turns into a valuable, collectible later in life. Well, I always remember growing up in New Plymouth. McDonald's had cabinets. I'm sorry, but no, I'm kidding. I don't know it with gross. I love New Plymouth. You do love New Plymouth.
Starting point is 01:13:19 I sort of just jumped in there. But like anyone that grew up in New Plymouth remembers the McDonald's for years had cabinets with all the toys. Everett. Ever lost in Hamilton had the same thing. The big glass display. And it had all the toys. The coolest ones were the transformers that turned into the Big Mac.
Starting point is 01:13:36 Yes, I remember those. There was a drink. There was the Big Mac itself and that was something to do with Transformers and it transformed into a robot. Apparently Napier did too. Oh really? Napier Mac is?
Starting point is 01:13:46 Yeah, it was great. And then they were like, oh, these are... Oh, yeah, but Carman's just said Napier, someone tried to smash it once to get the toys out. Oh, pretty... Filled by drugs. Somebody for Taradale. Coming in here and ruining the lovely name here.
Starting point is 01:14:01 I mean, I collected Barbies, but I didn't do a good job of collecting them because I played the hell out of it. I think we've got to talk about collectibles that were. So there were at store, because do you remember the servos to the coins as well? No, the coins, the servos, the coolest ones are the coins. And they did, I'm sure they did a rugby one
Starting point is 01:14:18 and a black caps one back when we just called them the New Zealand cricket team. Yep. And over summer was the coins that had the cricket players emblazoned on them. Yeah. Yeah. What are weak-bicks cards?
Starting point is 01:14:31 Oh, I had odd bods. Remember those two, and there were two cards and a top and a bottom. Yes. And you could switch in the top of the bottom. They glow in the dark and you get like super, super good ones. You trade them at school. Late 1980s, the Ninja Turtle cartoon cards
Starting point is 01:14:47 that came with little sticks of chewing gum. And there was a Batman, the original movie, Batman set as well. I recently saw one of those online, someone on Facebook. I mean, is this worth anything? I was like, I don't know if financially's worth anything. But man, nostalgia points. How good we've got to have that in the cupboard? Okay, so 800 at d'Arles.com.
Starting point is 01:15:01 We want to take your calls now. text us 9-6-96. What were your favourite collectibles growing up? The collectibles that you remember
Starting point is 01:15:10 collecting as a kid because obviously the Ushies craze Is huge has been for weak schools have banned them And now they're
Starting point is 01:15:20 doing filthy training Like his daughters Who's like Hustling and ripping people off Why didn't you come over here Strong arming and stuff Yeah
Starting point is 01:15:27 She's still training Deep in the Ushies Or she'll Don't know That will get her in trouble I'm going underground. You've got to go and check out the New Zealand Card Collectors Club Facebook page. I'm on there
Starting point is 01:15:38 right now and like there's a lot of basketball cards and, you know, the Pokemon cards and stuff that make money. But there are some like insane throwbacks. There are like cards people got out of chip packets. But remember when they come in a plastic wrap because the chips were so greasy that'd ruin the card?
Starting point is 01:15:54 Yeah. So they came in like a thin plastic thing. Yes. Now tell the listeners. Now you've been listening to FVH, maybe some of you for a long time in thinking Fletch, we can always rely on him as an honest man. Tell them what you told us. No, I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this. And I don't know if it was me
Starting point is 01:16:08 and my brother or just me, but I remember there were Ninja Turtle collectibles in loaves of bread. And they were like, do you remember that? And you'd tear them open? Yeah. And then I just remember being in the supermarket thinking, well, why do we need to buy all these loaves of bread? We could just
Starting point is 01:16:23 finger in and pull them out. Now, those that don't remember may be too young. The card was always between the same two slices of bread. I don't know if someone was manually putting them in or a machine was inserting them in there. About a third of the way along the life. Yeah, you could easily always work out which one it was in. So some other
Starting point is 01:16:40 kid is going through the bread being like, where is it? It's not there. And then the mum's like, and the bread style. Yeah, because he's a finger hole in the place. I think that's why they stopped doing that. Yeah, I think that's the only one that did that. You know, like you fingering bags to get your, what you want. Somebody messaged in it. We're going to
Starting point is 01:16:58 address the fact that there was those magazines where over the course of the series of the magazine you'd build a dinosaur. Oh my God, yes. And the first one would be like, out now and only $4. And so you'd be like, oh man, bitch, let's build a dinosaur.
Starting point is 01:17:10 And then the next one was $12. And your mom's like, I'm not giving you $12 for a magazine. I can't miss the spine. Mom, how am I made you the two? I never knew anyone that finished any of those magazine collectible things. They were a rip, eh? They were a rip-off because it would end up
Starting point is 01:17:25 costing you hundreds of dollars to build a dinosaur when you just go buy a toy one for 20. It was crap, dinosaur too. Elizabeth, good morning. What was your childhood collectible memory? Oh, well, mine was actually kind of, you mentioned it before about the, like, Super Rugby cards in the chip packet. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:44 Yes. Yeah. How many did you get in the end? A lot. I ate a lot of chips as a young kid. Now, did Super Rugby go with chips and the NPC stay with your more traditional wheatbooks? Because there was always all blacks in the wheatbacks. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:59 that might have been at a high level. Yeah, I think, like, the All Blacks cards have stayed pretty true to the wheat books, I think. Yeah. They tried to stray away from the potato chips. Elizabeth, you're actually dead right there. Yeah. Are they doing one at the moment, a new one? Probably.
Starting point is 01:18:16 Yeah. A what? A power rankings for sports players or some collectibles. Yeah, there's like a aspect of gaming to it, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Elizabeth, thank you.
Starting point is 01:18:25 Julia. What's your childhood collectible memory? Mine was the BP station Winnie the Pumags I remember that's my best friend was obsessed I need to see them now Because somebody brought up Was it KFC did the Looney Tunes? Yes and they were like
Starting point is 01:18:43 3D plus they were amazing For collectibles They were just next level I reckon you could find these in the cell those Have you still got any of yours? I do They never were used My mum never let me drink out of them
Starting point is 01:18:56 Oh my god mum's and they've got the cabinet. No, we don't do stuff in the cabinet. It's worth a lot of money one day. Yeah, and I've still got them, so they're in perfect conditions. Oh, amazing collector's items. Oh, buy house with that one day, Julia. Savannah, what's your childhood collectible memory?
Starting point is 01:19:13 First of all, long-time listeners. Oh, great to have you. Ding, ding, ding, get that. Savannah was waiting. She's been waiting for a topic she can contribute to, and here she is. Here she is. Here she is. What was the childhood collectible?
Starting point is 01:19:24 It was actually about 20 years ago, that Queen McDonald's toys were called. Shots fine. Shots fired. Yeah, wow. The big corporate there. Shots fine. Because you'd say 20 years ago
Starting point is 01:19:35 the toys were cool, I'd say 30 years ago, I think it's a generational thing. You can just appreciate what you appreciate it. I'm only 25, so. Yeah, me too. Same. I'm just 26, so slightly older than you.
Starting point is 01:19:48 I turned 26 in November. Happy birthday. So she won't. You'll be fine. Yeah. But anyway, it was a little red, like, pocket toy thing that played music. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:20:01 You'd press the button, and the one that I had was Forever by the Veronica's. Wow. Okay, I do not remember these toys. They sound like real flash for a Happy Meal toy. Yeah, and they had other songs. I think Crazy Frog was another one. Yeah, I've just Googled McDonald's music toy,
Starting point is 01:20:19 and Crazy Frog was green. Oh, yeah. They might have gone, I'm regional with the Veronica's for Australasia. Yeah, okay. them and he they had Liberty X. I couldn't imagine being... I couldn't imagine being in Brazil and the Veronica's come on.
Starting point is 01:20:31 You'd be like, who are they? Yeah. You know what I mean? The Brazilians know everybody. That's why they're always like, come to Brazil. Come to Brazil. Savannah, thank you some messages. Oh, I'm to Brazil.
Starting point is 01:20:40 Somebody said, what about when the BP used to get you... They were little plastic smirfs. Yeah. Now that's going back. I remember... I went to a... I can't let this come out of my mouth. Like a vintage collectible toy store on Sunday.
Starting point is 01:20:54 And, I know, and there were the, like, cabinets of those smirfs. Yeah, those little plastic snus. I definitely had some, but we played with them in the bath, so they were absolutely ruined and sort of melted and faded and whatnot. Gave yourself some plastic kind of BPS. That's why I am slightly blue. I slipped in the bath and got bloody brany smurf up the ass. Yeah, same.
Starting point is 01:21:15 Same. Oh, so keep slipping. Musly smurf was a girthier smurf, and he was going like this with his arms. Better than handy smurf because that pencil was sideways. Yeah. Well, musley smurf or bodybuilder smurf, whatever else, acted like a gaff, you know, if he went in, he wouldn't be coming out. Oh, Jesus, yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:32 The ED departments hated to smir, of course. You do need a flare at the base, though, for safety. You do, but I tell you, that excuse doesn't work nearly as well as an adult as it as a kid. Nah. Somebody said, when I was younger, the transformer burger from McDonald's, I got it as a kid. It was my pride and joy. My five-year-old still plays with it regularly.
Starting point is 01:21:51 I remember that. They don't make toys like the ones to last. I used to. Yeah. BP did Disney plates, bowls and cups. And we had the entire collection. It was my absolute pride and joy as a child. I have a Shortland Street collectible cards
Starting point is 01:22:05 kept in pristine condition in my Shortland Street collectible ring binder. What? I remember the Shortland Street trading cards. They've got a pristine Lionel. They'll have a Lionel. They have a Waverly. They'll have a great large.
Starting point is 01:22:15 I've got two Waverleys. What have you got? I'll give you a Waverleys. I'll give you a Wailel. I'll give you a Wailel. Nick and Rachel for Warrie. Okay, I'll chucking a guy Warner. Yep.
Starting point is 01:22:23 Done. What about Tiffany? No, you're not touching my Tiffany, Mike. What about a Sam? No, you're not having Sam. Okay. Tee? I'll chuck you in a Sam and a TP for a...
Starting point is 01:22:34 I'll give you money to not give me Teepe. Why can't I remember, like literally anything from yesterday, but I can recall... Every... Short and straight character with vivid visual. Something is going on in your brain, I think. It's pudding. It's pudding.
Starting point is 01:22:50 It's probably too much pudding. I'm having pudding. No, enough. The ZM Podcast Network ZM's Flesh, Vaughan and Haley, play ZM. Fletch, Vaughan, my friends. Yes. Speaking.
Starting point is 01:23:05 I'm having a baby. Congratulations. Wait, this is a hypothetical, obviously. Oh God, yes. Sorry, did I just put the frying up of a little listeners? No, no, no. Just to say, your friend Haley Sprouse says, guys, I'm having a baby, and I'm stoked.
Starting point is 01:23:20 Okay, just stay with me. It's very believable. My acting degree is not kicking in. It's not that powerful. Guys, I'm having a baby and I'm stoked, and I want to invite you all to my baby shower. Now, as my two of my dearest friends, you must attend, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:36 I will do an e-invite because I care most about the environment. I'm not sending paper. Well, actually, an e-invite does have some consequences for the environment. It's not on the cloud as such. I'm going to send it on the hide of a kiwi. Right, so you get that. That comes into your mailbox. You open in.
Starting point is 01:23:55 It says, Haley's Baby shower. Mama to be. Time to celebrate our Mama Mama. Okay, that's there. Oh, I hated already. Right. I reckon you should have left it to somebody else. 2pm, my house.
Starting point is 01:24:09 Yep. Gifts expected. I'm already thinking of excuses not to attend, but carry on. Gifts expected. We'll be catered. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Entry fee, $100. Absolutely not.
Starting point is 01:24:24 A hundred dollars. This is what one woman discovered when she was invited to her cousins. Is this in New Zealand? New Zealand, $100. No, she's not, no, overseas. Yeah, overseas. So, mole. U.S. and more money.
Starting point is 01:24:35 When she was invited to her cousin's baby shower and the invite just at the end said, entry fee $100. That's insanity. A hundred dollars. I'm sorry. I don't even like when people, we hear of people, you know, can you pay for the wedding this much?
Starting point is 01:24:50 like, oh, it's expensive. Don't do it then. Yeah, go to a registry office. Go to it. Exactly. Don't need to invite me. I don't need to be there hundred bucks. Get a grip.
Starting point is 01:24:58 Yeah. What was her reasoning for asking people to pay for a baby? You never said. It was just like, this is the thing. It was all themed. I'll say the invitation looked well designed. But again, don't have one. Don't have one.
Starting point is 01:25:09 We never used to. Oh, gosh. Never used to be a thing. But so what would be, for the $100 is extreme. But like, if you were all going, I don't even know that. No. Because it's a small organising,
Starting point is 01:25:21 because you never organise your own baby show. My experience is that... I'll be organising mine, because you guys wouldn't do it right. No, probably not. It would be tacky. But there'd be club sandwiches. Yeah, there'd be club sandwiches, but it'd be tacky. I'd have the ninja slushy going for the margaritas.
Starting point is 01:25:34 You topped with tequila. I can't have because I'm pregnant. 100 bucks. I'm sorry, we're not doing that. Absolutely not. No, let's not start that as a norm. Anyway, let's get out of this hypothetical where I'm having a baby and I'm happy about it
Starting point is 01:25:45 because I don't want to curse my womb. Oh, another one of. in the bag. And it's a Versace bag as well. If you enjoyed that, give us a rating and review and be sure to tell your mates. You don't sound sincere there, boy. I'm just reading what's written here. Play ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley.
