Starting point is 00:00:00 From the ZM Podcast Network. This is Fleshwood and Haley's Big Pod. Brought to you by Chemist Warehouse. The biggest brands of the lowest prices. Welcome to the show, Fletch Fawn and Haley. It's two minutes past six. And it's bloody two degrees max. And we've got another cold front, as Bryn just mentioned.
Starting point is 00:00:19 Imminent. Go on. Hit us with some, you've got your... Yep. Some low temperatures. Twizzel's the coldest right now, minus 4.7. So it is actually this morning's not as bad as it has. been the last couple of mornings.
Starting point is 00:00:32 It was zero at my house. Yeah. Like where the guy in the news said, though, there's a more, more snow coming. I love snow. Yeah, minus two in Hamilton at the moment. Bar me five in Tohonger, six in Gizzy. Wellington's on six as well. Christchurch, one.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Ian and Christine, my parents are not happy to return from Hawaii to this. That's a shock, and it? That's a real shock to the system. Yeah. Poor them. Yeah, I know. Really feel it for them. Not enough alohas.
Starting point is 00:00:58 I can feel my tans fading. from Paris. Poor me. Poor you. Poor me. Well, when you've got the top six soon dealing with the cold? Top six signs it's the coldest morning of the year. Because for a lot of places today is.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Right. Is it? The coolest, yes. I just wore, I've got bare legs and a bloody mini skirt on. I just don't know how to do winter. Because I don't pant. You know, I don't pant. You just go from the home to the car park.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Home to the car park. You're not outside much. Car park to the office. Yeah. Gym, gym, gym to the home. Yeah, no, I'm not outside. Next on the show. That Cole play couple, well not a couple, the cheating CEO and workmate who were having a kiss.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Yep. They'll be happy. They're sharing the limelight with a new court cheating couple. Oh, I love this. Have you seen this? I'll explain it all next. The Flet's morning, Haley, big pod. Coldplay, playing a beautiful concert, and now I've got a kiss cam, shoot up to one of the corporate boxes, and there's a little couple.
Starting point is 00:02:00 A couple arms wrapped around each other having a canoodle. And they pull apart and they drop down. Everyone was like, that was a weird reaction. Turns out, they're married. Not to each other. Not to each other. They work together. Yep.
Starting point is 00:02:13 And eventually they both leave their jobs, right? She was HR. He was high up and he was a CEO of the company. He was still weird about it, eh, even months after. And I was like, well, we're kind of, I'm not really in a relationship. I know it was weird. Anyway, but it went viral. So good.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Well, heat is off. The heat is off because there was a TikTok creator named Jay filming in Central Park in New York City. Yeah. And he's filming around and he catches a couple having a little kiss on a park bench. Yeah. What did you say? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I think he's a gay. I was like, no, man and a woman. Well, were they? No, no. One man, one woman. Having a little kiss. And so for some reason this TikTok creator, Jay, starts roasting them a little bit
Starting point is 00:03:02 and keeps filming them saying like, get a room, there's kids around because they're having a good old Mac on the bench. The couple's like really startled. You should see this. It's so awkward. The couple, they're really startled.
Starting point is 00:03:15 The man's, you know, he's sort of smiling. Oh, no, no, stop filming, stop filming, stop filming. She's like, put the camera down, put the camera down. Goes up on TikTok. Slooths. God, you know these internet sleuths, they love it. They get in there. Turns out.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Yeah. That's Nathaniel, who is a 45, year old partner at a law firm and that's Kalsi, a 29 year old associate at the same law film. Oh, spaghetti. Not a couple. What, just on their lunch break?
Starting point is 00:03:40 Not a couple. And they are both married. Oh, they're both in relationships with other people in the legal industry. How did the internet find this out? I know, they're not famous. They're just in the same industry. Just took one person to recognize... Sloots. Yeah, that... It's the sleuths.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Wow, okay. So they haven't actually commented yet. So it's like the cold play thing. It's going to take a bit of time for them to come out, not confirmed that, you know, it's actually a proper affair and they're actually still in their relationships, but their behaviour in this video. Yeah. That's why when I'm... Yeah, when I'm cheating, I like to do it behind closed doors. When I cheat... Call me old-fashioned.
Starting point is 00:04:17 When I cheat, I do it real on the down life, so no one knows that I'm a cheater-cheater. But the weather's beautiful at the moment in New York City. I know. New York City. You've got to get out there. Are you got to get out there and like what better place for a kiss? You know, the heart of the city on a park bench. And you're not expecting that someone's going to be filming you an uploader.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Do you know, I think when the Auckland Central Rail Loop opens. Soon. I think it's going to bring affairs back to the city. You reckon? Do you think so? I think it's going to bring people back. People are going to be able to move freely to park benches around Auckland City and smooch people that aren't their partners.
Starting point is 00:04:54 And it's all going to be happening for summer, baby. Because they won't need to park. You know, stressful parks. is it puts you off your kissing. That's so much of why I don't cheat is because at parking, I just can't get a park. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm in a Mastie, you know?
Starting point is 00:05:08 It needs a good park. Do you think there needs to be some kind of tourism kind of campaign like from the council? Yeah, bring your illicit extramarital affairs back to the city. Back to the city, baby. Affairs in the city. Yeah, using the central rail loop. Yeah, love it. That's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Isn't it? We should pitch this. Yeah, $50 cap on fares during the week. Yeah, that's a good idea. Cheat all your cheating is not going to cost you any more than 50 bucks a week. That's good money for cheating.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Is this a silly little poll? Do you like to do your cheating in public or behind closed doors? I'm always amazed in small towns and people cheat and they'll go out for dinner with whoever they're cheating. Oh my God. And it's just like town over sometimes and they're like, gotcha.
Starting point is 00:05:46 And then people are like, this is the closest tire restaurant. We all come here. Yeah, it's too small for that. Yeah, yeah. But you can get found out even in the big apple. That's our advice. Bring cheating back. to the CBD.
Starting point is 00:06:01 The ZDN Podcast Network. As I mentioned, the moon's full at 2 a.m. tomorrow morning. This is just everybody with bad behaviour. It's an excuse for it. Oh! It just makes me wild. It's an excuse for the crazy.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Well, we are mostly water. You know? And the moon affects the water. It's got to be doing something. Also, my late period arrived yesterday. My late period. Like I'm talking about my long-lost It arrived again yesterday. My late stage period.
Starting point is 00:06:32 My late 1700s period. Those pregnancy test makers are making some money out of your way. Every month I'm like, sure. Oh, I'll give it another way. Yeah, I'm like, I'm pregnant. It's like, no, you'll just run down. But anyway, so that arrived yesterday.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Rage, ragedeth within me. A few other things to be rageful about. And so yesterday I have this ugly box. This big box that's been there for years. to store firewood. A temporary solution. It's outside by the garage. Outside, I'd say...
Starting point is 00:07:04 Was it one of those temporary became permanent solutions? Yeah, I saw it a family. Spend all this money on the front of the house in this. I saw a piece of crap with scraps from the renovations sitting there and painted it black to try to sort of not see it. Just made it worse. And I thought, today you die.
Starting point is 00:07:24 And so I went into my garage and I don't know what I own anymore since the separation. I don't know what tools. in there. Yeah. So I start fishing around and I find a few things. One, I find an axe. Cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Love axes. Two, I find a mallet. Big mallet on a stick. Yeah, I got two of them. Why do you have two? I don't know. Cool. I love a mallet.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Could you have not got one each in the separation? I don't know. I got double melons. When the zombies come, though, mallets are going to be an underrated tool because just on straight on the hair. Don't have to give it much. A long-handled mallet?
Starting point is 00:07:57 Double. Two long-handled. How does that? Oh, that could be you in the apocalypse. You got one in each. Do you long-handle mallet? What's that? Do you have a long-handle?
Starting point is 00:08:05 I don't have a long-handle-mellet. You do now. Well, don't just give it to them once he does a hedges. I do have to go and have a look at those edges. Give it to them in exchange for the hedges. I looked at my hedge trimmer and I looked at it yesterday and I thought, I reckon I can do it. Don't get up there. It's got a bend on it.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Anyway, so I find a mallet. I find an axe. I find, I've got my screwdriver because it's full of screws. I find a hammer and I find a crowbar. And I find a crowbar. eventually. Crowbar's fantastically underrated tool. The crowbar entered the story too late.
Starting point is 00:08:35 Okay. And I just raged at this box. Like, at first I started hitting it with the axe and I quite quickly learnt that thing's blunt. Right. As I said to Vorn in a message when I said, do you have a sharp axe? I said mine wouldn't fluff a pillow. Like this thing is... Great saying by the way. Yeah, thank you. It just really wasn't giving a lot.
Starting point is 00:08:50 So I started undo all the screws as much as possible and then the crowbar was getting it. And then I put like raging music on in the garage. I've got little like speakers in there had the rage going. The sun was shining yesterday. It was so nice. It was cold.
Starting point is 00:09:04 You just created your own rage room. People pay money to do this. Because didn't we just get one in Auckland? A rage room. I think it's been around for a little while. The smash room. You went to the rage room. Oh, you did, didn't you?
Starting point is 00:09:16 They were like, whoa! Yeah, far out. Yeah, there are a couple in Auckland now, but yeah, I've been to one. And it's so much fun. You just, like, smash up a bunch of, like, dollar cups that have been in an op shop. That's right, like crockery and something. How much, do you remember how much he paid? Maybe like 100 for two people.
Starting point is 00:09:35 Haley. Dude, you can be charging people for this. There's more at my house as well that can be absolutely torn apart. Oh, I'd love it. It was so satisfying. Free, $50 for you, half price. Oh, sold. There you go.
Starting point is 00:09:49 I just made money. You just made money. The rage. It was amazing. And also, because it had been outside, it was like, you crank something off and you pull it like this and the wood was soft. It was all bending. and stuff, that thing was decimated
Starting point is 00:10:00 in like hours. It was so good. Did you feel like the therapy worked afterwards? Yeah. Like no offence to my therapist, Virginia. But like, I got more out of that session yesterday than I have for a long time. It was so good. And you didn't have to pay a couple hundred dollars.
Starting point is 00:10:16 Well, I do have to pay a couple hundred dollars to now get a skip for the removal because there's a lot. Yeah, but you get to smash it again throwing stuff into the skip. I always try to smash things and I'm throwing it into the skip. Because it's in some of it's in sheets still and pieces. like that. Like it's getting, I was thinking maybe Vaughan, like if you've got rage, which I'm assuming
Starting point is 00:10:34 you do, you could get a chainsaw and you could bring the chainsaw over, you could start hacking there. Fletch, you don't have any rage really. No, I'm pretty good. You could take, you know, the wars problems still. I could just have a cocktail and watch you guys rage. Oh yeah, that'd be lovely. That would be lovely. That'd be nice. Yeah, that'd be lovely. Watching somebody else just rage. And also, like, there was, it was hard work
Starting point is 00:10:56 as well, so I was letting you know, like the vocalisations coming out. The neighbours would have thought. Your neighbours must think you're a weird cookie. A real weird. A dog over the back fence barks and she's barking a dog. And I'm barking back at it. Man, it was just rage city at my house and it felt dead.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Play Z-Ns, flesh one and haley. From the unmoderated comment section, this is the top six. What are you? Despite full hydro lakes, there will be a short supply of power. been a little while since we had the rolling brownouts. Remember the rolling brownouts? There's not going to be any of that. There's not only rolling brownouts.
Starting point is 00:11:32 No. But they say... There is strain on the grid. So there is strain on the grid because of the cold, very cold evenings and the cold mornings everyone's getting up. They reckon... Crank in the heaters. Is it 7.30 to 8.30?
Starting point is 00:11:44 That's when the big strain is. Because everyone gets up and they're like, geez, it's bloody cold. Yeah. Holy. Get the heat pump or the heater on. You're under the blankets. That was meant this morning. I was like, the air is cold.
Starting point is 00:11:55 I've got an arm out. You've got an arm out. Skins all cold. That's cold? Yeah. That's cold. I've got the top six signs that it's the coldest week of 2026 so far. Number six on the list, your nipples could cut diamonds, but you're inside in bed with the electric blanket on.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Yeah. But as you say, they're up. They're up. And they're hard. They can sense it. Almost painfully hard. Do you know when your nips get painfully hard? The nips are like the inbuilt barometer.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Yeah. Give them a little flick and they'll tell you what the weather's doing. Yeah. Dad walks past, on the wall. Got to have that barometer, by the way, mounted on a wall to the outside of the house. Won't do any good if it's mounted on an internal wall.
Starting point is 00:12:35 It's not the temperature, is it? Number five on the list of the top six signs that's the coldest week of the year. You finally don't want to work from home because at least the office is warm without costing you $800 a week to heat. Do you reckon that's it? That's actually another,
Starting point is 00:12:46 I hadn't even thought about that. Like, works warmer. But you've got to weigh it up because working from home, you're not paying for transport and parking. And you're in your trackies and your slippers. Yeah, yeah. And you can just uddy.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Yeah, itty. Full uddy, full slouch mode. Camera off on those work zooms. Number four on the list of the top six signs that's the coldest week of 20206. Eurozone pick is frozen solid. Side note, you never got this cold when you were fat. Yeah, oh God, you're going to miss that fat?
Starting point is 00:13:14 Actually, anyone on the 9-6-96, anyone on the GLP's, drastic weight loss really feeling the cold. Yeah, because you would, wouldn't you? Yeah. I'm the warmest I've ever been. Arguably. So wait, you're actually saving on heating. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:13:29 And that was the intention the whole time. The entire time. Regained that weight I lost. Number three on the list of the top six signs. It's the coldest week of 2026. Your AI girlfriend just broke up with you because your house is too cold for her. She's hot. I'm out.
Starting point is 00:13:42 No. No. No, I will not. It is freezing here. My servers. My servers. Number two on the list of the top six signs, it's the coldest week of 20206. You gave yourself 15 minutes in the air fryer to defrost.
Starting point is 00:13:54 You're fair enough. Jump on the old air friar. I love my air fry. It's a great purchase. Mine's so ugly. It's so cumbersome. Yeah, they are. They are, but they're a bit ugly.
Starting point is 00:14:04 Yeah. And number one on the list of the top six signs that's the coldest week of 2026. Now, I know we've, as a show, stated that spitting in the mouth is back for 2026. But I will say, not this week. You'll be pitouin icicles. You'll be under.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Boy. The time it hits by the timer gets in. That few inches. More. No. Frozen. A shod. Very dangerous to get the icicle at the back of the throat.
Starting point is 00:14:25 So I will just give you. you, your warning, no spitting in the mouth this week. Just give it a little bit of... Canoodles though. Oh, nice for warm. Cenoos to stay warm. Fletch, have you got anyone to canoodle with this week? No, no.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Sadly no. He's cold. No one to canoodle. Don't look at me like that. I'm giving him a little, I'm giving him a one of these. Not a single little warm booty to shuffle up to. Oh, I'm sure he could sort something out in the next 15 to 20. He's going to come over on.
Starting point is 00:14:52 No, I'm fine. That is today's top six. The ZM Podcast Network Play ZM's Fletch, Worn and Haley Has anyone been through a breakup in the last, say, year or so? No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:15:08 No. Well, you both have. Fletch, Fletch, you. No, I haven't. Many, many, many, many, mini breakups. Which is what he calls it when he's like, time for you to leave. Bye. Oh, is that a breakup?
Starting point is 00:15:20 Is that a breakup? Yeah, okay. When was your last breakup? Oh, I can't even remember. Over a decade, right? I would be closer to 20 years. I can't imagine you sort of at home like, oh, my relationship's over. Were you around for?
Starting point is 00:15:37 What was he like? No, he was stoked. Actually, I was thinking him back and then he was just like, oh. It was amicable. I was very amicable, but you were stoked. I've met your lovely ex. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Lovely, lovely, lovely. Oh, their loss. Anyway, well, Vaughn, you've been through a breakup. I've been through a breakup. And I don't know if you noticed this, but I definitely noticed this. I was reading an article on NZ here of my chosen news source.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Ding, ding, ding, that was a KPI. That's the bell. He can't see. He never finds it. There he is. Always in my blind spot. I read this on New Zealand here of my chosen news source. Yeah, fantastic.
Starting point is 00:16:20 About how people notice after their breakups that their social media of choice, so TikTok or Instagram, the algorithm starts feeding their sadness. And I definitely notice this. And definitely let you create your own algorithm. Yes. But they're calling it breakup talk
Starting point is 00:16:39 and it's weeping montages, attachment style little memes, tarot readers analyzing relationship breakdowns, when you expect schemes, all this kind of stuff. and the algorithm starts feeding you all of this content and you linger on it because you're like, oh my God, I've just been to a breakup.
Starting point is 00:17:00 I'm sad, I'm sad. Thus feeding the algorithm and the algorithm kind of in a way just keeps you sad for longer. Until you kind of get out of it and you kind of get over to move on. And start looking at things like Latino goth baddies a little bit more to refresh.
Starting point is 00:17:13 I don't think my algorithm, what was your algorithm after your marriage breakup? Thick Latino goth baddies. Yeah, primarily. It wasn't any, any. Anything else? There was World War II airplanes, whatever my like tism-tism-tickle of the time was.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Just distractions, mental distractions. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Were there Latino goth baddies before the marriage breakup? Yeah, there was. But there wasn't, there wasn't goth. Actually, you know what, goths are kind of like, sad. Yeah, gots are sad.
Starting point is 00:17:45 People. Not necessarily, but they do project sadness. So maybe you're actually right. That's why it became sort of more boss Latinos. Yeah, well, it can feel like TikTok or Instagram are like reading your sadness. But the algorithm works by tracking your watch time, what you linger on, scroll speed, likes comments. There's nothing worse than being on your phone but also talking to someone. And then you linger on the wrong thing and you're chatting to them.
Starting point is 00:18:15 And then it thinks you want that. I don't want that. Were you accidentally clicking ad? I got talking to someone. So do you know there are now digital wellness experts, people that look at the correlation between how much time you're spending on social media per se and happiness, we're saying it prolongs your grief.
Starting point is 00:18:37 So if you feed the algorithm that you're sad and breakup, how you might have gone through the trajectory of a breakup previously without social media is now a longer experience because we're on our phones all day just refeating the sadness. So if you're breaking up with someone or if you've just recently been through one, put the phone down. Get off social media.
Starting point is 00:18:59 You literally TikTok came out and they were like, it's kind of not our fault. Like you're the one looking at it. Like that's how the algorithm works, dips. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you don't want to be fed the sadness, scroll faster. So that's actually probably how you can get rid
Starting point is 00:19:10 of all the Latina goth baddies in your feed. If they're bothering you. If they are bothering you, it sounds like they're bothering you. Let's not go crazy. Because it sort of feels like you're overwhelmed By the amount of them. Yeah, I know, but you know, they say face your fears to overcome it and I will, I will overcome. We're proud of you. You're a brave boy, born.
Starting point is 00:19:30 I am brave. Thank you for recognising that. Play ZN's Fleshhorn and Haley. I want to know right now, from our lovely listeners, give us a call or a textoruni. What did you throw out accidentally? Maybe it was something of immense importance, something that you needed because I bought some speakers. for my TV and I bought them ages ago, months ago and they kind of just sat there but when I got them
Starting point is 00:19:56 I unwrapped them to sort of look at them and got all excited then I was like I don't actually have all the setup you know so they just sort of sat there yeah I threw out all the packaging because I'm not a package keeper anymore I'm like... Do you remember when we all used to keep our phone boxes? Yeah, our iPhone are you like...
Starting point is 00:20:11 Yeah, no, a stack of them in the wardrobe Yeah, a little stack of them no no no you did because it was before that like if you lost it or got stopped And you had to prove that you own it. That's right. The warranty little leaflet was in there. I remember ages ago, travel insurance,
Starting point is 00:20:26 like do you still have the packaging or something? What am I a storage unit? Well, you're like, grow up. So, yeah, the packaging was in the bin the day that I got, they arrived in the mail. And so just yesterday, months later, I was like, oh, I am going to connect them. You know, I'm going to connect them up to the tally and all this.
Starting point is 00:20:46 And I pull them out. And I'm like, we're just the... Hold your horses. Hold your horses. Where's the power cords? How do I power these things? And I was like, do they have phantom power? Through...
Starting point is 00:20:58 What, like, Wi-Fi power? Bluetooth power. And the main bar speaker must Bluetooth charge these. No, no. No, no. I look underneath and there's a hole for specific power. And it is like a kind of a chord that you could buy, like from, you know, P.B. Tech or whatever.
Starting point is 00:21:18 but this is a specific one because it has to sit flat so that the speakers, it has like a groove and a flat thing where the little clip can go in so you cocked it up have you? I've cocked it up, I threw them out and they were in the boxes. Also having just put up those same speakers weeks ago Haley. You've got the same system, right? Yeah. Did you also throw out the screws that hold the speakers too?
Starting point is 00:21:40 Yeah. Yeah, okay. We need to buy those too. Because they were in the packet. Do you know what? I get a bit, I get a bit, I get a bit. I get a bit excited with packaging sometimes. This brand as well does the nice packaging.
Starting point is 00:21:53 When box packaging or anything you get and all the folds are perfect and things are put in and oh, I love it. What is the most exciting thing about buying a new Apple product? Yeah. Their packaging is insane. This is Sonos and they're like, oh my God. Sonos. Sonos.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Sonos, because it's the Greek god of banging shoes. Shit, so is he something out. Yeah, they're scornos. in there as well. You needed to take all of them out, Haley. So I just took the speakers out in a flurry and I've thrown away two power cords and then they're specific. And the ability to fix it to the wall. And the ability to fix them to the wall, which I've just learned from my friend Fletcher.
Starting point is 00:22:32 So did you buy two new cables? Two new cables. And now I'm going to go back. What did they set you back? Weren't cheap because they are the specific clickin. Right, you can't just get the, you know the one that plugs into the, um, nudge the back of the PlayStation. They're a, yeah, the figure eight one that's,
Starting point is 00:22:47 So I went to the garage and I found a couple old things that I don't use that fit. So they could technically be powered but no. They don't. That doesn't work. So I've thrown out the power cords. Now I've learned I've thrown out the brackets to actually attach them to anything. But there would be a lot of people that do this accidentally because a lot of stuff there might be inserts into like styrofoam. You buy a package and you forget, you don't know the remotes in there.
Starting point is 00:23:10 But maybe as well you realized, you know, like me, you've been doing a clean out and you're like, I don't need all these papers. And turns out you've thrown out, you know, your kid's birth certificates. and maybe your marriage license or things like that. You know, we're just, we don't check before we put things in the bin. Or maybe, you know, you were putting the food scraps in the bin and your wedding ring bloody fell off and into the bloody tip it goes. Okay, well, 0800, and we'd love to take your call now. Starting point is 00:23:35 What did you accidentally throw out? I'm an absolute mess. Okay, so not the only one, Haley. Sarah, what did you accidentally throw out? Hi, guys, well, first time call a really, really long-time listener. Oh, lovely to have you, Sarah. Thank you. I bet when you heard this topic, you were just like, today's today.
Starting point is 00:23:52 I'm in. Just me. Joining the ranks. Yeah, so a few deficiencies in attention here. They call it a disorder. I just call it being really awesome. Yeah, okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Cool. A few years ago, moved into a rental, was given like a big set of keys, and then a different version of me, like one who wasn't paying attention, was having a declutter. I don't need these old keys. That must be a collection from, like,
Starting point is 00:24:16 all the years of it, they've gathered up up, yeah, of course. Just then, this then, and then, and then fast for two years, and I'm going to move out and I just think, should, where have I put the keys and I was going to have? Like eight or nine keys. I thought I was facing, like,
Starting point is 00:24:32 block changes, hundreds of dollars per key. Thankfully, Mr. Minut and the property manager who had a photocopy, so I could match up what I did have on my my kids care. But I just did this recently, Sarah, like I found a big a handle of keys and I was like I just don't know. So not,
Starting point is 00:24:50 they weren't keys for like the main door. They were all for the other like cupboards and stuff that you never never used. It was kind of an older house that had lots of like bifold doors with locks and they were all different obviously. Oh no. I don't know. I'm also all for chucking keys because I'm like if I needed them. I would have used them. I would have used them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:10 These are surely for old houses here and then there is one day you're like, God, how do I open this? Oh, that's right out. Through those keys out. Yeah. We love a Mr. Minut. Sarah, thank you. Some messages in.
Starting point is 00:25:23 No, shortage of it, a rubbish bag full of beanie babies. Collectors edition. Collectors. Yeah. Now looking back. Some of the movie with money, most of them weren't be worth it. Not if they were open out of the, were they ever in a box, beanie babies? What a beanie babies coming?
Starting point is 00:25:38 No, they just came raw dog. Raw, dog, you beanie baby. My brother's three. out my mom's Rolex. We threw out a thousand dollars cash. It was hidden in an old suitcase. They got thrown out when we moved house. Didn't realize until a few weeks later and it was gone.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Someone was getting that at an op shop and getting a thousand bucks. Well, unless it was just to the tip. Yeah. What a waste. I had a Christyandior bag. Oh, darling. It was hidden in the cupboard, darling. A husband decided to clean out the cupboard.
Starting point is 00:26:07 He thought, oh, she doesn't use this bag. It's jammed at the back of the cupboard. So chucked it out. Wouldn't he have at least seen the label? Don't touch. Don't touch. I had a Generation 1 Optimus Prime Transformer toy.
Starting point is 00:26:21 It got thrown out lowest point of my life. Gen 1. That's first transformers. Did that have been worth money? Yeah. Let me have a quick. Let me have a...
Starting point is 00:26:29 It's funny. These things, when you throw out something of someone else's, it's never forgiven. Because, like, how old am I? 36. I think when I was six years old, I was with my dad,
Starting point is 00:26:39 and I was wearing a pair of floral Doc Martians, and I stood in dog poop. My dad put them in a plastic bag and he chucked them in the boot And then when he was cleaning out the car A couple of weeks later He just chucked them out
Starting point is 00:26:51 A rubbish, he chucks them in the bin This, that's 30 years ago And my mum's like, well don't let your father touch anything Because you'll probably chuck them out Like he did with those floral doc martins You're like, oh my God Patsy 30 years
Starting point is 00:27:02 I consider why your dad was like I'm not dealing with this dog poo Yeah yeah The highest price Generation 1-Othelthus prime That sold was a Canadian release And it sold for 45,000 US dollars recently But that's like exceptional, exceptional quality. And good neck, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Exceptional quality. But, you know, upwards of a thousand US dollars for a collector to get one. Paige, what did you accidentally throw out? Good morning, guys. How are we? Really good, Paige. Top-notch, thank you. Well, oh.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Too bad. Anyways. No, no, she said top-notch. Oh, top-notch. Oh, I thought she said, I'm not. Oh, no, Paige. Well, actually, that's... I said top-notch, but I'm not as what I mean.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Okay, honey, me too. Oh, hon. Yeah, she's got the wheat sack. I've got the wheat sack across me over, Rees. What did me that? It was my partner's brother. He was moving and he used to work at platypus. And so he had lots of shoes.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Nice. Do they get free shoes there or do they get like a good discount? Free platypuses. They get like a discount and then someone, like they get to have someone else to get to discounts as well. My sister used to work there so I used to get discounted shoes. Oh, I wonder if I should just become friends of someone that works at Plattipus. Still can.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Okay, yes, there's not, there's time, is what you're saying. Just next time you're in a platypus, be really nice to the server and then be like, I think we could be friends. I think we could be friends. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And they'll sniff you out. So he had them in a rubbish bag,
Starting point is 00:28:30 I don't know why, but, yeah, you know where this is going. He was moving, and they must have all gotten binned all his shoes. Oh, see, having. And the rubbish bag, so some homeless guy is fizzing at that rubbish bag. Well, only if they're the same size, only if they're the same size, Shoe. I haven't just moved recently in and out with renovations, it's very tempting and easy to use big black sacks. Yes, yes, yes, yes. But you've got to be all over that because, yeah, they do look like rubbish bags.
Starting point is 00:29:04 Yeah, they do. Because they are. Especially when you're moving out, and some of it is rubbish? Yeah, you've got to be careful. Yeah, exactly. So there went all his shoes. Like probably thousands of dollars worth by the sounds Oh yeah Wow
Starting point is 00:29:15 So he had to start the collection from scratch bummer Well like he's got a half-price discount there What is he still at platypus though Is he still at platypus because this could be Fletcher's new friend No he's not Unbelievable, labour with half He's got to pay full price shoes now Paige thank you so much
Starting point is 00:29:33 Some messages in I accidentally threw out a box full of cow and calf Air tags, brand new, untouched, they're worth $1,100. Oh, geez. Is that how many were? A lot of there were? A lot of there were. Someone just... Yeah, yeah. Did you read out the granny's false teeth? No. I threw out my granny's false teeth.
Starting point is 00:29:53 She put them in an empty coffee cup. Like a paper coffee cup without a lid. So I just assumed it was dirty and threw them in the bin. Oh, God. I knew a friend that had threw out their retainer. Yeah, I've done that before. And how much are they? Aren't they like 400 bucks? Heaps, heaps, heaps, heaps. Because you go get the moulded.
Starting point is 00:30:09 and sent away and da-la-la-la-la. Somebody said wife was put in the click-and-click grocery as a way. I thought it would be helpful and put the stacked brown bags in the recycling. And a couple of days later when we were slagging the supermarket off and not giving us our meat, we found all of the meat, which had still been in the brown bags that had been folded. Oh, no. How did you fold up meat without realizing?
Starting point is 00:30:31 Like, what are you, these big, squishy, heavy brown paper bags? Yeah, yeah, yeah. God, that just must be the paper. But not the sticky beef inside. Oh, go, well, this actually made me feel a little bit better that I threw out my power cords. Power cords. Do we want to know how much those power cords cost to replace?
Starting point is 00:30:49 They was $40. Like, I'm not stoked to pay that much for a power cord. Oh, okay. But if it was a specialist power cord, I thought it would have been more than that. No, I think it was that much. Yeah, I think that, obviously if they're listing those on their website, they're used to people like Haley throwing them out.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Yeah. Or cutting them or a cat chewing through them. Yeah. Play ZDN's Fleshhorned and Haley What was the drink there people Were going crazy about that Like it's like healthy cola
Starting point is 00:31:19 And it was like soy sauce sauce And do you remember that soy sauce And soda water and something And it was like, it's like a cola And everyone was like, yeah, that's grim It's not Well there's a new viral drink And I've just made it for us
Starting point is 00:31:33 We're yet to try Okay Shannon just sent through what that healthy cola was Balsamic vinegar and soda water That was it balsamic, not soy, osamic vinegar. Have soda water. Squeeze some lemon. Just have a delicious Coke zero.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Just have a Coke Zero. Grow up. Grow up and have a Coke Zero. Have a Monster White. Yeah. Now we're talking. Have a lift glass and just go about your day. So, okay, this is a new viral drink.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Apparently, this is very popular in Southern America. Very Southern on a hot day. What we have here is Coke, Coca-Cola. Full strength, by the way. It's been a while since a full strength. I don't even know the last time I had Coke was. Like, it's crazy. I don't even drink Coke Zero.
Starting point is 00:32:14 I get a Coke, I always go a Frozen Coke Zero at non-olds. Okay, okay, I've had a frozen Coke zero. Or if I'm hung over and there's nothing curing it, a cold crisp can of like cherry Coke. Yum. Or like vanilla Coke or something. Yum, yum, yum. So we just got regular stock standard Coke, cold.
Starting point is 00:32:32 And poured into it are some honey roasted peanuts. And apparently, and it made it all fits. Floating in the glass, ladies and gentlemen. So is the viral trend with spicy, like chili? You can do either. She said usually in the South, they just do it with salted peanuts. Okay. She said the hack is honey roasted. That's her favourite. So we've got honey roasted, but you could do it with hot honey roasted.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Okay, and you just pour... And what you do is you sip it, and it's supposed to be sort of like a nice kind of peanut buttery, salty treat with a sweet, and then you can chew on the nuts. So chinchin, let's have a little guy. Wait, have you tried it already born? I tell you what, I don't hate it. Dude, I do not hate that at all. That's a, well, that's a, oh my, okay, that's actually really yum.
Starting point is 00:33:17 So she said it's similar. Similar. Oh my God, that's actually really yum. I haven't even yummed on any of the peanuts yet, but it's yurkey. So it's made like a nutty, a nutty Coca-Cola. Kind of like a Reese's peanut butter because you get the sweet from the Coca-Cola and the nuttiness from the honey-roasty penis. I mean, if you've got a peanut allergy, this is not for you.
Starting point is 00:33:37 I'll just say immediately. but it's incredible. So, so young. So I saw I did you that's pretty good. That's, oh, yeah,
Starting point is 00:33:48 wow. Makes sense though, right? Because it's salt and sweet and salty and they set each other off and like you're having a beer and you're eating the peanuts and stuff. I saw a guy yesterday
Starting point is 00:33:58 and he was like, my granddad taught me this, he's been doing it for decades. He had a beer. Yeah. And he put in two teaspoons of peanut chili oil. I love that stuff.
Starting point is 00:34:09 You know that it's got the crunchy bits of peanut and it's chili oil. He said, and he let it sit through it. And then he was drinking it and it was just like, it's game changer. What kind of beer? Lager or whatever. I don't know. He's cracked a can. I didn't catch what kind of beer it was.
Starting point is 00:34:20 It wasn't, goodness. Chili peanut oil. And that worked. I sort of. That's a vibe, guys. That's like, it's like pard. You're going to finish yours. I've put mine away as well.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Would it work if you were, like if you were into your dark spirits as well, like a rum and Coke or a bourbon? I was just thinking that kind of reminded me of that peanut butter whiskey that I like, the sheep dog. If you had a little bit of whiskey Coke, salty honey, roasty peonies. Well, I mean, try that. We stop calling them peonies. Try, yeah, why are you calling them peonies?
Starting point is 00:34:54 I don't know. Stop this. Sweet honey roasted peonies. Something to try at the vending machine this afternoon. If you've got peanuts and Coca-Cola in the vending machine, give it a go. Because I tell you what, that's really good. Like that's like a little fun little afternoon pick me up. Do you want to finish mine, Vaughn?
Starting point is 00:35:11 You really... He's loving it. Really honing it, isn't he? Yum, yum. The Z& Podcast Network, play ZN's Fleshhorn and Haley. Is it weird? I don't know. Is it weird? Tell me if it's weird.
Starting point is 00:35:24 Maybe it is. Maybe it's not. I don't want to ask because then people will think I'm weird. So tell me, is it? Is it weird? It's been a while since we've done this. For a hot minute. And I feel like this one's kind of.
Starting point is 00:35:36 I'm kind of personally targeted at me as someone that is known to do this behaviour. Oh, okay. I'm interested to see what the listener makes of it. Okay, so we need to help out of listener now and judge, is this weird behaviour or not? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And whether or not this happens in your relationship as well. Okay, listen, we are going to need your feedback in just a second. Okay, is it weird?
Starting point is 00:35:57 Hi, besties, you're going to love this. I'm in a new relationship, it's going so well. Big could be the one vibes. That is until recently. I don't know how to bring it up with her. Lesbians with lots of vases. We are the chosen registration for lesbians.
Starting point is 00:36:12 That's a fact. That's a fact. That's the stats. Good morning. So, see, we've spent almost every day together since date one. I've gotten very close, very quickly. So when I was brushing my teeth and she came in and peed while talking to me, I was like, okay, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:36:26 This happens now before bedtime most nights and I've gotten used to it. Yesterday I'm in the shower and she comes in again and sits on the toilet, does her business and leaves. I'm not a pro, but like, can't you piss on your own time? when I'm finished with the bathroom, is it weird or am I just being weird about something that isn't a big deal? It's not a big deal.
Starting point is 00:36:42 It's not a big deal. No, it's not a big deal. I just weigh in front of it. When she says did her business, she doesn't make. We're a poo in front of partner. No, you don't do that in front of partners. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:36:54 I think she just means a little way. And I we in front of partners all the time. Yeah. But she said it makes her uncomfortable. Now I don't know how to bring it up with her. I just, it's not it's, it's, it's, it's, I don't. I don't think that's weird. You don't think it's weird?
Starting point is 00:37:10 Some people would though, what do you know? Some people find it weird. I've definitely, someone who pays in front of maybe my mum. What? I'm sorry, what was your mum when you peed in front of her? Okay, that's weird. Yes, I'm every now in the end of she if I need to pee. Well, she's brushing your teeth or something.
Starting point is 00:37:29 No, I'm in until she's finished. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I wouldn't pee in front of my mom. That's weird. It's not the question of, is it weird? It's in this new relationship. I think. I think the question should be, is it weird that sub-question?
Starting point is 00:37:41 Is it weird that Haley does that in front of her mum? Not sub-question. See, look, Ruby's already messaged in. The bathroom is not a group activity. That's weird. Okay. Now you can chat while you pee. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:53 What about after, you know, adult fun times when everyone's doing their post-coital urination? Yeah, yeah. Flush out. Recommended by doctors. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Is it recommended for lesbians, though? Different things.
Starting point is 00:38:04 No, but it's still, there's a whole lot of messing around down there. Yeah, the drachy bacteria. to the urinary track. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, okay. Someone said, no, I've paid in front of my mom like, Haley, not a big deal. That's weird. That's weird.
Starting point is 00:38:17 That's weird as in front of your partner. We're not, is it weirding me? Okay. Okay. Okay. 100. This is, by the way, if you wonder why we say three numbers, somebody messaged me saying, why do you say three numbers and then I think?
Starting point is 00:38:29 It's the last three numbers of their phone. Oh, just to identify that. Because we don't have their name. So we'll do the last three digits of their phone number. Just to identify the texter. I'm also a lesbian. and my girlfriend is sat on my lap while I peed. So just being in the same room's not weird.
Starting point is 00:38:42 Oh my God, get a room. They did. It's the bathroom. So someone said it's a point of contention in their relationship. My wife seems to think it's okay for her to do it in front of me, but definitely a no-go when it comes to me doing in front of her. Okay, well, this is... What about you doing it on her when you're in the shower,
Starting point is 00:38:58 just on the leg, sneaky, but fun. Oh, don't pee on me if we're having a joint shower. That's yuck. It's funny. Okay, well, we need a definitive. Okay, we need a definitive answer here. here, 9696, text in, you can call us, 0,800,000, M.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Is it weird? Is it weird that in this new relationship, one of them is continuously peeing in front of the other. Cheapers, I can't keep up with the machine. And also, side one, is it weird that I pee in front of my mum? Because someone says, this is a girly thing that we're okay to pay in front of our mum and their daughter pays in front of them.
Starting point is 00:39:31 It's absolutely fine. There must be a girly thing. A lot of people saying it's not good to pay in front of your partner. We need a definitive answer. Is it weird? Tyler, do you think that's weird? Good morning, guys. How are you?
Starting point is 00:39:43 Yeah, blah. Thank you, Tyler. Certainly don't think it's weird. My partner and I, we have daily debriefs, any thoughts, comments, queries going on. Yep, okay. All discussed on the bog. On the bog, yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's the thing, if you live in a house with only one bathroom.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Yeah. And you're both getting ready to go to work. You kind of have to, right? You're ready to go to work or getting ready to go to bed or anything like that? That is the one. two bathrooms too, you can choose where you want to go. So, Tyler, my question is, though, so you draw the line obviously a ones.
Starting point is 00:40:17 Okay, it depends. Sometimes you can't. This is what I was going to ask, because sometimes when I sit down for a ones, as I sit here, you know, I'm there for the ones, but, you know, am I going, oh, you might need to leave. See, I draw the line at that, I think. Sometimes Mother Nature comes calling and you can't really...
Starting point is 00:40:36 Yeah, yeah, yeah. How long have you and your partner been together for? Eight months. Okay. Wow. How long did it take until you were toileting in front of each other? Probably three days. Three days.
Starting point is 00:40:51 I like it. You're like, this is how it starts. You found your person, man, three days. That's going to be great. So good. Tyler, thank you. Some messages in, is it weird? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:02 It's not weird. They're just up tight. Sometimes I pay when I'm talking to my son on the phone. Oh, really? I'll talk to you guys will have peed on the phone. Kim, what do you think? Is it weird? Absolutely. I'm not comfy being it. And married 16 years and still number two's are a mass.
Starting point is 00:41:20 No, no. Yeah, two's are a no-no. Yeah, yeah. But number ones are okay? Number ones are okay? Sometimes, I think if you're desperate, it's okay. But then there's a limit. Yeah. Okay, here.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Well, you're not the only one, Kim. A lot of people are saying, this is weird. I would never do this in front of my partner. Yeah. I don't want it to happen. I don't think it's weird, but my partner does, so I respect his boundaries. If one person thinks it's weird,
Starting point is 00:41:46 you've got to not do it. Also, I definitely pay in front of my mum and my sister. Yeah, yeah, yeah, not my dad or my brother. Yeah, that'd be even, that'd be weirder. No, I wouldn't pay in front of my brother. Oh. Well, you guys mouth kiss. Someone summed it up very nicely.
Starting point is 00:42:01 I don't need to be reminded what that area does. When I'm not there. When I'm not there. Okay, well, keep your texts and calls coming through. We're going to have a definitive answer for Is It Weird next? Now. Now. Is it weird?
Starting point is 00:42:19 I don't know. Is it weird? Tell me if it's weird. Maybe it is. Maybe it's not. I don't want to ask because then people will think I'm weird. So tell me. Is it?
Starting point is 00:42:30 Is it weird? This is probably the most amount of messages we've had for her bloody. Is it weird? Is it weird? A woman messaged us. She's in a new relationship with another woman. and we support that as a show. What?
Starting point is 00:42:44 Huge fans. Born especially. Born especially, almost a passion of his. And newly dating but grown very close, spent a lot of time together as lesbians who want to do. One of them keeps peeing in front of the other without sort of in any announcement, just sat down and peeing, you know, brushing teeth, showering and stuff.
Starting point is 00:43:01 And our texter is like, not my usual thing. Isn't it? Is that a bit weird? Or am I being a bit off? Well, before we get to a yes. or no definitive answer. Let's go through the text messages and collate them. I can't speak for the ladies, but at least when a guy does it,
Starting point is 00:43:16 he's got his back turn to you, number ones, wise. Number two is though he can eyeball you, and I don't know like that. Catch you in the eyeball. I've been married for 25 years, we've got four grown kids, we've never paid in front of each other. That's my husband's boundary. He watched me give birth four times,
Starting point is 00:43:31 but doesn't want me to talk to him while he's pain. The urination. Oh, okay. My partner and I do number two is in front of each other, but the line is drawn at wiping. We leave the room to wipe. I'm sorry, you want, you leave the room to wipe. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's fair enough.
Starting point is 00:43:45 White thing's embarrassing. It's like, you know, when you look at a dog and the dog's shit and it's looking at you, it's like, I've got to look at you for security, but don't look at me. Yeah. And then. Dude's peeing in front of other dudes all the time,
Starting point is 00:43:56 strangers even. Why is it weird for a partner? Number two is weird. I think we're collectively thinking number two's is weird. This is the biggest argument I have in my relationship. I've never had an issue with it. My mum and my sister and I've always gone while at each other in the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:44:10 For my partner, it's an absolute deal-breaking. It makes the biggest deal to shut the door if I leave it open or run out of the room if I go to do it. Yeah. It was weird for me until I had an emergency C-section needed help wiping afterwards. So now nothing's off like that. Yeah. You've seen everything there, haven't you?
Starting point is 00:44:25 Yeah. Coming up five years, everything in front of each other. Poop-pee. Oh, changing that. Right. Yeah. Yep. Okay, you guys are close.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Do you know what you wanted to finish? of answer, I think there is one. Oh my gosh. Not weird to pee in front of your partner. I, female, sometimes like to hold my partner schlong just because I find it quite fun to aim. Would you get, now, I
Starting point is 00:44:52 do need to know, would you get behind them like, you know when you're teaching someone to swing a golf club, you get behind them and you show them or just side on maybe? Do you go behind him and reach around? Yeah, but don't squeeze it too hard. I get it though, because it's like we don't have that and like how fun to be like,
Starting point is 00:45:07 it is fun. It is fun. Yeah, it is fun. Not weird. Not weird. Especially if you're like ladies. I don't know if you know this. There's no greater joy in life. Hitting the toilet, blasting to go. And there's a little skid mark that needs water blasting off the back of the bar.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Target. Yes. Of all the advantages men have over women. You're welcome. I reckon that's our number one. That's our number one. That's our number one. Someone said I don't think it's weird to be in front of any part.
Starting point is 00:45:32 I come from an open toilet door family. Oh, okay. You know? I'd say it's slightly in favour of, not weird, but there's definitely, there's definitely division amongst the ranks. It's not as close, it's not as one side as you thought of me. He's sometimes very clearly one way, but it's more split than
Starting point is 00:45:52 someone said your relationship arguably isn't solidified until you do. You know, it's a sign. I'd say it's slightly more in favour of no, it's not weird. Slightly. Somebody. I, a female, used to pee and he'd come in busing, one bathroom in the house. I'd open the legs and we'd go at the same time. Oh, no, that's not cool. I'll triple the line there.
Starting point is 00:46:12 That's precision urinating. That's not. You don't splash in my thighs. Yuck. I'm busy. So I think if we had to draw a conclusion, though this is very split, I think we'll come to the conclusion that it's not weird. That's not weird. All the people think it's fine.
Starting point is 00:46:31 We can now all confirm. That's not weird. We never get to play this one. You're all good. It is not weird. Yes. I don't think we ever have. Have played that one.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Of course that's weird. That is, but no, not today. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley. Been sitting on this one for a few days because this happened at the weekend. Okay. But I thought, save it for midweek. Mm.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Okay. When we're starting, we're just noticing. We're just noticing that the content tank just a little bit, a little bit blow hard. It takes a dip on a Wednesday. It takes a dip on a Wednesday. You've got to dig a little deeper. So I saved this one. I put it away, I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:47:11 Made a sexy purchase at the weekend. Oh, me too. Did you? Yeah. Did you always go first? I can't say it on radio. Oh, it's that. Oh, I went to Wild Secrets.com.
Starting point is 00:47:22 Did you? Oh, okay, no. I got a hard advertise and I thought, absolutely. Okay, well, no, you don't want to. And at the same, with the far apart. I don't want to know about that. No. How sexy is your purchase?
Starting point is 00:47:34 Pretty sexy. Yeah? Went to farmers. Okay, here we go. Got five new pairs of jocks. Have you finally updated your undies? How old are your undies, bro? Dude, I've got undies.
Starting point is 00:47:48 I was working it out. So I've got three, now I have three stages of jocks, right? I've got my brand new jocks, and I'm wearing them today. Gives a lot. Yeah, okay. It's the same recipe. You don't need to take your jeans off. Yes, I do.
Starting point is 00:48:01 Oh, yeah, those are the same. Those are the same. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We don't take your pants off in front of us in HR issue. I think for a sweaty boy that's got a bit of sweat wicking. It's not like a full cotton. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:48:17 There's some stretch in it and I like that. You want some kind of sporty fabric for your undies. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, there's a bit of that. A cotton. There's a bit of that. So I've got three stages of my jocks now, my brand new jocks.
Starting point is 00:48:30 Yeah. Then I've got my jocks that were my good jocks that have now been downgraded. They might become my sleeping jocks Yeah, and a wrecked house, the lawn jocks. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, those sorts of jocks.
Starting point is 00:48:42 Chuck your jocks off of that. And I'm thinking it might be time to retire the oldest. Say five, because I always buy them in lots of five. By the way, I don't know if the specials have it was 40% off. It's 40% off because they're 30 bucks. And then when you get your 40% off, five peers is $100.
Starting point is 00:49:02 Right. Yeah, nice. That's why I do it. So I do it in lots of five and I've got new jocks. I'm pretty, pretty steep. I'm the new jock. Today's the first wear of the new jock. I don't like a new jock. No, I don't like a new jock. I like it a couple of months in when she's just relaxed a bit.
Starting point is 00:49:17 She's relaxed to your figure. She's relaxed to the figure. The band's had a little bit of a wear out, you know, a little bit of a stretch. Yeah, I do, I do feel that, but this is a nice, this is a nice, a nice feel. And I'm actually, I think I've got a new pair of socks on. Are they still 40% off? Because I'm a jocky under girl. I can't guarantee that sale. I can't guarantee that sale, but it was. I was just, purely coincidental. Right. Had to go to the mall.
Starting point is 00:49:41 And, you know, if I'm going to the mall, I'm going to try to get everything I need to get done for the entire year in one trip. So I was like, I googled, and I was like, wow. Good special. Birthday celebration. For the old Smithy. Great date.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Five pears of jocks, hundy barks. Ends Wednesday, 5th of August. I'm in. You're in. Wow. This is not a spawn con or anything like that. No. For either jockeys nor farmers, but I've got new jocks.
Starting point is 00:50:06 So this was the... I'm very happy about it. This is the... sexy 10 past 8 personal. This is the personal break. This is the personal break where we let the listeners in on an aspect of our lives. That's crazy. And make ourselves a little bit more relatable to them and stuff.
Starting point is 00:50:19 The listeners ever see your gross old jocks sticking out the top of your jeans that you've had for like 11 years? What's your oldest? So I reckon I was, because that's when I was going through the real old jocks. I remember getting a couple of pairs of jocks when I was training for a marathon in 2009. Vaughn, that's so long ago. 17 years old. How do they laugh so long? Because I don't wear them very often.
Starting point is 00:50:44 Right. I don't wear those. The women we get told when we start to bleach them out, you know? Right. When your acidity gives it a bit of a bleach. They start to thin. There's some threadbare. There's some threadbare jocks.
Starting point is 00:50:58 No holes in any of the jocks. Because if they do get holes, I mean, I'm a gentleman. I'll throw them out. But they are thin, like you hold them up to the light. You can use them as tracing papers. Yeah. You can see straight through them. I just can't believe you were momentarily single
Starting point is 00:51:12 and still rocking these old jocks. Oh, yeah. For a while. Yeah. You know, does the new girlfriend have a opinion on the jocks? When I bought the new jocks. I sort of shuffled him towards the new jocks, you know. Well, no, yeah, she was one that was,
Starting point is 00:51:28 she actually Googled it on the when we're going to the mall. I was like, let's get everything done. It was her idea for the new undies. No, I said, let's get everything done in the year. And I said if my jocks are on special, fingers crossed, I'm going to buy some new pairs of jocks. It was because I've got this, okay, to further endear myself as the sexy one on the show. Okay. Oh, we're landing on that?
Starting point is 00:51:49 Yeah, I thought we had to sign on board the sexy one of the show. I don't know that the debate's concluded there. Why? Because I'm actively getting real hot at the moment. You're right. Okay. Well, it's obviously not Fletch. We can agree on that.
Starting point is 00:52:02 I think. Minger. Okay, great. These the show's minger. the show's type of minger. Yeah, yeah. There's got to be something else there. I'm the first, if this was a scary movie, I'd be the first one dead.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Yeah, because they're like, get rid of the minger. Or you'd be the survivor. Yeah, then the last thing is take off your glasses and take your hair out of your ponytail. You've actually been a gorgeous woman all long. Thank you. Well, the zombies don't want to eat yet because you're such a minger. Or as the show's sexy one, I'll further, like, and just solidify myself as a sexy one. I've got, I get a very, very stiff back.
Starting point is 00:52:32 And I wake up in the morning and often I make this noise when I have to bend down. to put my um undies over my foot that noise one morning it was so stiff I just kind of like hung the jockey and like lassoed my foot with the jockey you need to get some Pilates I pulled it but as I pulled it on my toe got caught
Starting point is 00:52:50 and I tore I tore the jockeys in the thin part of where the arsons and I was like a show of some new jockeys definitely the show's sexy guy yeah yeah Kelsey just messaged in it is Vaughn yeah it is yeah there you go
Starting point is 00:53:05 conclusion. Okay. Play ZM's Flash for it and Haley. You haven't seen The Odyssey yet, have you? No. No, you're going to get in the IMix. The tickets for the IMAX keep, like, all the good seats
Starting point is 00:53:18 kept getting booked out weeks out. Yeah, you have to be... Oh, you have to do what I did, which was, like, pretty close to the front, which is a lot in the IMAX. And then I saw American cinemas are putting screenings on at like 1 and 3 a.m. Like, just to accommodate the fact that it's been selling out for weeks on.
Starting point is 00:53:35 It's been three hours long, so you finish that, grab a brecky off to work. Off to work? Yeah, yeah. Like, just basically going, just rolling into the next screening. Hell, yes. One after the other. I mean, I saw it, and I genuinely thought it was phenomenal. Like, it was just so enticing.
Starting point is 00:53:49 It's amazing. And you don't have to have, you don't need to know the novel, the Odyssey or anything to enjoy you. In fact, go and blind. But the character, Penelope, who's played in this rendition by Annie Hathaway, I'm not going with Annie. I'm going, I'm still calling you, Ann Hathaway. No, I know. I'm trying to change because that's what she prefers.
Starting point is 00:54:13 It's Annie. Because I knew, I said that from the start. I know, I know. Speaking of pronunciations, Penelope, I knew a Greek girl whose name was spout like that and her name said Penelope. Penelope. Which sounds more Greek. Are you sure you weren't saying it wrong?
Starting point is 00:54:28 I sounds like you were saying it wrong. I was really, really asked a lot. Well, and this. version of... In Greek, the name Penelope is pronounced penelope. No, that can...
Starting point is 00:54:37 Pinalope. Pian... Pianelope. I'm now going to call all Penelope's penelope. Penelope. Well, I mean, the whole... The thing is
Starting point is 00:54:47 very funny. The debate online, people have been like, you know, Elon Musk not historically accurate. You're late, so which... So the Cyclops for you was not... The Cyclops giant was not historically accurate because they're using American accents.
Starting point is 00:54:58 It's just a movie, dude. Just a movie, dude. Shut up. But anyway, Penelope, as... she's pronounced in the movie. Her thing is she waits for Odysseus to return. He goes off to war, you know, Troy, all that kind of stuff, and she waits.
Starting point is 00:55:12 That's her thing. And he says, if I don't return, you are to remarry and you're to give Ithaca, I think, you know, and everything. You're to remarry. Her love is so strong. She waits and waits and waits for 20 years. I don't, would you wait for 20 years? No.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Well, do you know who is? I'm like, presume dead. Yeah. I mean, back in the day, he couldn't, like, log on to Facebook, be like, be home soon. was marked safe and toy yeah yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:55:37 Mark safe from the Troy and the Troy horse Current location Inside the horse Shut up Don't tell anyone They're putting us in So they're calling
Starting point is 00:55:47 There's a new thing In the modern dating world They're calling the Penelope wait And I'm like We've got to stop doing this Women in particular We're doing this The Penelope weight
Starting point is 00:55:55 The anxious hope And waiting to hear From someone you like Nine and 10 Gen Z women say they've stayed up late, like late past their bedtime, hoping for a text. No. Waiting for a text.
Starting point is 00:56:08 So you want to go to bed, but he hasn't text you, so you're like, oh, just wait another hour. Yeah, this is from a dating website that ran a survey. 85% say that they, yes, feel they're caught in the Penelope weight cycle. Like, come on, why aren't you messaging me? They're not waiting 20 years. 35% of people to say they're waiting to be reached and can't recall the last time they felt like someone's priority.
Starting point is 00:56:30 91% of people surveyed accepted loneliness as a normal part of life. They say it's conditioning, not choice. Women in particular, raised to believe that being chosen validates them. So we wait, we're going, oh, you know, I'll just wait rather than be like, oy, you know, be clear with your intention.
Starting point is 00:56:49 Yeah. Which is like we've talked about before, the shallance, you know, like none of this bloody... Nonchalance is out. Yeah, none of the game playing. Shalance's back, baby. No waiting to text. Just text them.
Starting point is 00:56:59 The whole thing. This is so antiquated, don't you think? Pursuing a guy, us being the one being, you know, reaching out, looks needy and we might scare him off. I'm like, no! You've got it. You don't piss around doing the Penelope way, which is waiting years and years and years for someone
Starting point is 00:57:16 that's probably not going to show up. No, that's not a spoiler of the Odyssey. That's not a spoiler there. But, you know, you're just sitting around waiting all these years. You could be out getting it, having fun, living your life. Yeah. Don't look at your phone. And also, if you want to hear from them, just message them.
Starting point is 00:57:33 God be bold, be brave. Play Z-M's Flesh, Fawn and Haley. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day. It's salt week here at Factor the day, tip-tip-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-to-do do. It's salt week here at Factor the Day, all because a young man who's been living in France read a 24-year-old book about the history of salt around the world
Starting point is 00:58:03 and how important salt was to the world. Well, I just actually saw a follow-up post from that young man. He's starting a substack and a weekly video series where he does a fact of the week. About salt. No.
Starting point is 00:58:16 That all facts. Is your original idea and yours only? No other entertainment platform has ever done anything similar. You don't own fact. I heard facts Are you the fat lord?
Starting point is 00:58:31 I'm the lord of facts The fact lord The fact lord The fact lord himself Lord fact quad Well today's The day is about places It's named after salt
Starting point is 00:58:41 Oh yeah Because salt plates that should In Portnumart Salt Byrne Here's your salt burn Salt burn Salt burn It was salt burn
Starting point is 00:58:48 Even I don't have saltburn Was salt burn a real place I don't think it's a real castle I feel like it would be a place Definitely a place name Gosh No It was a spictitious
Starting point is 00:58:58 Castle, yeah. I was a lesbian. I was too wet for me. Men are so lovely and dry. Men are so lovely and dry. It's a really lovely and dry. So, around the world, there's many places. Side note, you know a salt pig?
Starting point is 00:59:14 Do you not familiar with a salt pig? The worst way to store salt. The pits, right? I've got my nannas. I looked at my nana's salt pig yesterday, and I was like, you know what? Terrible question is. Sorry, Nana.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Are you giving it away? Yeah. Because you leave it there, and it gets grainy and moist. And his rhubarb's thriving. Two new leaves. Okay. It's coming back from the brink.
Starting point is 00:59:32 This is good? I honestly thought it was dead. It's coming back from the brink. It's sort of cyclically, though, keeps getting hit in the brink. I'm nervous about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, salt pigs are terrible. But do you know, like, they shouldn't, you know,
Starting point is 00:59:43 they're always in the shape of a pig, like the big open mouth of the pig. Yeah. You look confused. I don't know what a salt pig is. Yes, you do. It kind of looks like a little, like tear drop, like that big hole in it, and it's just got salt and you just pinch it. Oh, yeah, I know that.
Starting point is 00:59:54 stove and sometimes it's got a little novelty spoon in it. And it gets all moist. Terrible. So it's not called pig because it should look like a pig. It's the same as a piggy bank. It's an old Scottish word for an earthen jar. Okay, right. So they'd call that a pig.
Starting point is 01:00:12 So they'd make a small jar and you'd put your money in it. They'd call that a piggy bag. I've just got a grinder. I just use a salt grinder. Grindr? Yeah. I use grinder too. How often you use grinder?
Starting point is 01:00:22 Every meal. Depends every meal, yeah, pretty much. You bring out a dry spell. Yeah. Grind some salt. Yeah. Too much grinder. I've got the dry spell.
Starting point is 01:00:30 So there's lots of places named after salt. A lot around Europe where the old salt mines are Salzburg in Austria. Is that salt? Oh, does that mean German salt? It means salt fortress. There you guys. Because Germans, they had souls was their version. Mind you, all of like English languages, the word for salt always had S-A-L in it.
Starting point is 01:00:51 Right. And then it was just the end that Sals was Germans. It was Italian. Yeah, it's Sala. Yeah. Salae a Pepe. And is that salt and pepper? Love them.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Salia Pepe. Great. I hip hopped you were in the 1990s. Salt and pepper. And Bergman's fortress. Holstadt in Austria. Hall and Statt. Oh yeah, I've been there.
Starting point is 01:01:13 It's beautiful. And they've got a salt mountain. They got, yeah. Did they? It's this cute little. Ancient salt mines. Yeah, it's this cute little village that they, I think that they model some kind of,
Starting point is 01:01:22 I don't know, anyway, it's beautiful. Gorge. What was the village? They modeled a Hullstatt. Yeah, but they did. You were about to say something. They modeled something like a Disney something. The Disney Castle. No, that's the castle that's out of
Starting point is 01:01:36 Yeah, Zetan. Out of Munich, I think. Right. Yeah. The Sojstuk River is literally means Salt River, not because the water in it is salt, but it carried Salzburg salt to the market down the Solstisuk River. Shoshak. In China, Shoshang prevention. Salt City, Yanchin.
Starting point is 01:01:54 is named Salt City. Yanting is the Salt Pavilion or Salt Station. Have you got Salt Lake City in there? Bingo. In America, that was the inspiration for Frozen. Rout, Arindale. Yeah, for Arindale, yeah. And snow fell in that, and snow's white, and so is salt.
Starting point is 01:02:12 Everything! It comes back to salt. It's like Kevin Bacon, which, and you can't make bacon without... Salt. Higgs, pork. Pork and salt. And salt. Selina, and New York.
Starting point is 01:02:24 The original name for Syracuse in New York. The state of New York, that's a Latin word for salt, because there was Salt Springs found around there. And throughout Africa, there's ones as well. Amazing. Ta is the salt for the old African languages, and there's many places that start with that because of the salt. Oh, that looks gorgeous.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Don't just show her, show me. I love Frozen. Well, you're not. That's a town. It's incredible. If you're ever in, like, Austria, Germany. Because you can't afford to travel. It's just going to hurt
Starting point is 01:02:56 You know, because we could go. You've got a divorce and stuff. You'll never go in here. And you're not coming, are you? I mean, you're welcome to join, but you're not. You could FaceTime me. You could be sad and we could take you. I don't know what's up over there.
Starting point is 01:03:08 I am really sad. You could take me to Arundale. I'll dress up like, oh, sure, we can't afford that. And I'll sing the song. No, we'll take you to... The pub. I couldn't find any New Zealand places named after salt. Okay, well, you tried.
Starting point is 01:03:19 I tried. It probably is. None. Oh, wow. Salt film. Literally just around the course. corner from us. What?
Starting point is 01:03:26 I was just trying to make it. Salt, Lampingham. You didn't go of Saltown. Yeah, Saltieville. There's salt and the salt. There's a whole island called Salt Island. Yeah. Fourth Island.
Starting point is 01:03:35 So, today's fact of the day is lots of places are named after salt because salt is so important. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day. Yeah. Do do, do, do do do to do do do to do. To do do do to do. Do do, do, do. Play ZDM's Fletch, Vaughn and Haley. 9-696.
Starting point is 01:04:01 Where is the worst place that you got a flat tire? Well, the worst timing. Yes. Yeah. Because they're a ball leg. And even if you're confident at changing a tire, it just takes so much time. Well, you might just be in the worst place to get a flat tire.
Starting point is 01:04:15 You might not even be able to move to fix it. True. That's the other thing. Well, there's a website, space.com. And they share it. I mean, that seems legit. They share the photo. Space.com.
Starting point is 01:04:26 Yeah, they share a space photo every day. That's a website with a lot to cover. No, just space though. How'd they get... Yeah, you know how big that place is and how much stuff's just... Yeah. How'd they get the domain now?
Starting point is 01:04:37 Well, this space photo of the day was of the Mars Curiosity rover, which has put its cameras not on the surface of Mars, but down to one of its wheels. Uh-oh. And you'd say after, by the way, 14 years, the Curiosity Rover
Starting point is 01:04:54 has been just putting around up there. Cutting around on Mars. It wasn't the first one. It landed as the other one before it patented out. We must be due to be sent out another one. Does that have solar or is it some kind of nuclear battery that goes forever? No, it's like he goes and docks at night. It plugs in.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Right. That tire needs to be changed. It's a hybrid. It'll go on, it's power till it runs out and then the nuclear battery comes in. So that tire is like screwed basically. I don't know what it's made. It kind of looks like rubber but also plastic. Why didn't they change it before it got that?
Starting point is 01:05:24 bad. I don't think they can't. I don't think they can take a spare. Why don't they go up there and... Imagine if he pops his boot and he always got some space saver. A.A. should do something with us, hey. We'll go almost anywhere to change aside. Except we can't change that one. So what's the plan, Stan?
Starting point is 01:05:40 I don't know. It's a done. It's just done. I think it will pot around until it can't really, yeah. So, yeah, it makes me sad thinking it's up there. All alone. Clunker, clunker. Look, you know what it's like when you get the trolley at the supermarket with the bang wheel.
Starting point is 01:05:55 Imagine that. Turn around. Yeah, yeah. Imagine that. On Mars. Yeah. I know. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Everyone else on Mars being like, shut up. Okay. 0800 dials at M. 966. Already getting some calls through. Now, Mitch, where's place you got a flat tire? Yeah. Morena, team.
Starting point is 01:06:12 Morena. One morning, last day of uni, extremely hung over, driving with a friend over the old Victoria Overpass and being hung over and not feeling well, I started to spew out the window. And all of a sudden the car started to shut up. And we ended up getting a flat tire and having to pull over at the side of the harbour bridge.
Starting point is 01:06:32 That's a shit spot. The harbour bridge is so narrow. Like when you drive in that middle bit, you're like, oh, my God. And they, like, fine you even if you run out of fuel on there. Yes, yes. My friend blocked a tunnel from running out of gas and it was reckless driving because you caused all this and you knew. That's not the same of the flat tire. Because that's true.
Starting point is 01:06:51 That's your poor planning. You can't help. What, did you spew up a nail or something? Match. Oh, it felt like it. Yeah, so did you have to change it there, or did they tow you to get it changed? So we were able to pull over Justin by the, where you come on by Ponsonby? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:09 I'm by the on-ramp. Yeah, she didn't have any thing to change the tire, so I had to jump the fence and go down to the, what's it called the bungee jump. I was going to say the Adjahacket bungee people. Oh, okay. Mr. Hackett, Mr. Hecker. Yeah, can I borrow you Do you have a tire? Everything?
Starting point is 01:07:26 You were so lucky that wasn't You weren't in the middle, but With the rails, it's so thin. I would have just kept driving. I would have just kept on the stuff. Yeah, on the stuff, on the rim. Mitch, thank you. Matt, where's place you had a flat tire?
Starting point is 01:07:42 Oh, I actually used to be an AA breakdown mechanic many years ago. Oh, yeah, yeah. Changed downs and save lines. They're waiting for this topic. How many times did you get to a couple that were in a car and they were just seething at each other because of this breakdown.
Starting point is 01:07:55 That was about a 50% ratio. I bet it was. Usually it walked up and it would be the woman saying I told him, I told him to pull over. I told you. He was coming out of the vehicle. Yeah, and he was really like, I was looking for somewhere safe to pull over.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Yeah. Or she was like, I told him to make sure the tank was full. Yeah. Or he'd seen a YouTube channel about how to be a mechanic and he thought he knew what he was doing. show. Yeah, of course. What's the worst place?
Starting point is 01:08:25 Like the most inconvenient. So I had one where it was on the side. There was an old caravan and it was so close to the lane, the active lane. I had to hold myself inside the wheel well whenever a truck went past. Oh, hoof! Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:08:40 So that was a bit of fun. But probably the worst one was a young woman who just kept driving on the wheel until it literally went through the tire and then started to go through the wheel and welded the wheel to the actual car and I couldn't get it off. We've got places to be, dude.
Starting point is 01:08:56 You know? Did you not happen to feel the wheel actually touching the road? She said, no, I had the new Britney Spears album and I had it turned up. You're cranking. Yeah, hard to know you're driving on the rooms when you crank and some music. Oh, it's a taste of your lips.
Starting point is 01:09:09 You just like, do-da-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-out. Oh, that's so good. Matt, thank you. On your, Matt. Okay, keep your stories coming in 9-6-96. Delina, good morning. Where did you get a flat tire? Hi, we got a flat tire in Kenya.
Starting point is 01:09:23 We were in the Maasimara, driving through in a Jeep at dawn to go hot air ballooning, and we got a flat tire. And my husband, he's a good guy. He said, hey, let's stop, I'll give you a hand to change it. And the guy went, no, no, it's lion feeding time. So that was a good idea to stay in the jeep and keep driving. Oh, because they feed at dawn, don't they, the lions? They get up before the heat of the day.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Yeah, they go hunting. And you would have been, yeah, a bit delicious bit of meat next to a tyre. A bit of bricky mane. So what did you do? Do you just have to keep thumbing around on this thing? Yeah, we kept clunking through the Masai Mara for about, oh, like at least 20 minutes. That tire must have been shredded. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:03 And then, yeah, just before we got to the destination, we actually saw a lion with an antelope in its mouth. That would have been, yeah, you'd have got out to change that tire. Oh, my gosh. Well, my husband, anyway. Yeah. Oh, well, that's fine. That's fine. You're in the Jeep.
Starting point is 01:10:21 Exactly. Oh, Delina, amazing. Hey, Ademina, what's it like in Masamara? It just popped in. Yeah. Couldn't have myself. It was the most courtesy giggle I've ever heard. Oh, you silly boy.
Starting point is 01:10:35 Thank you, Delina. Let's go to Christy. Christy. You also got a flat tire traveling. Worabouts? Oh, just about two and a half hours south of the border in Mexico. Not ideal. Yeah, okay, so like kind of middle of nowhere, are we in a safe area or not?
Starting point is 01:10:51 Not really. We'd taken a bit of a detour on a little dirt road with like the largest potholes known to man, which was probably our first mistake. Yep. Were you in a four-wheel drive? Well, Subaru, all-wheel drive, but like literally bologna skins are tired. Like there's not much meat on those puppies. So it didn't take much for them to blow.
Starting point is 01:11:14 Japers. And how did you get it sorted? Well, first of all, we had the first flat tire, and we had a spare, so we popped that on. And then within minutes, I shit you not within minutes, the second tire blew. And so now we're like two down in the middle of nowhere. And there's nobody around. We can't, we don't have phone reception. We can't call anybody.
Starting point is 01:11:36 And so we had to flag down a local villager and see if somebody could help us. And did they help you? Did you get a nice one? No. So we ended up over in the. little teeny tiny village playing with the village children we happen to have a little bottle of cassidore's tequila in the back and go and behold somebody arrives with on a on a quad bike with like 10 kids on the bike takes the tire brings it back to the village and i'm told later that what they did was take a lot of
Starting point is 01:12:05 toilet paper light it on fire stick it inside the tire tube and spin it really really really fast and somehow to melt them. Man Bobbed your uncle tire fixed. Not fixed. This tire ain't fixed for long. Wait, but wouldn't the tube have been, no, because it's not, there's no, no, no,
Starting point is 01:12:24 because it'd be tubeless. Not the tube, but like, you know, the, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The casing and the beating on the, the beating on the tire would have been. They basically melted the hole shut. Yeah, exactly right. Wow.
Starting point is 01:12:37 That's sick. That's a great story. How's every life has? Shannon, take note. Five stars. Five stars for that small Mexican village. Yeah, that's fantastic. Also, what a story.
Starting point is 01:12:49 I mean, like, what a horrible day, but like, what a great story. Okay, well, keep your text coming in. So many, we'll get to those next. The worst place you've had a flat tire. So many messengers. My dad got a bus ride over. Flat tire going up the Bombay's on my wedding day with three generations of family, all in a seven-seater car.
Starting point is 01:13:04 And in your suits and gowns. Yeah. He left early for the wedding because he had a feeling something was going to go, wrong and he needed some time up his sleeve so he still made it in lots of time oh thank god oh pouring with rain oh we were moving house the boot where the tire was stored in the bottom of was filled with duvays pillows cushions and blankets had to put them all on the side of the road when it was pissing down just to get the spear out oh everything's wet now everything's so it's so good and you just wouldn't be in the mood for that you just like yeah uh i please don't ring
Starting point is 01:13:38 as i'm at work but when i was nine tanner moved from the west coast to christ church i I drove back home one weekend and swapped cars with my dad. Once he got home that night, he said, how long have you been driving around with a flat tire? And I said to him, I thought it felt different. And I just turned the music up. I had driven from Christchurch of the coast with a flat tire and didn't notice. It was rooted.
Starting point is 01:13:56 That's the technical term. So I just said they drove past a hearse with a flat tire. The hearse at my nan's funeral, they left the lights on and the battery went flat. So they went to start it and it didn't start. And we laughed. Yeah, yeah, that jumps out of a hearse. But the guy said, oh, yeah, there's, we're a horse. We've had a flat tire come out before him,
Starting point is 01:14:13 loaded up the coffin and turned around and there's been a flat tire. Oh, you've got to jack it up? Did you read the post-hospital birth? No. God, we had just been at the hospital. My wife just gave birth. And as we left to go home, realized we had a flat tie.
Starting point is 01:14:26 Had to change it in the rain with the newborn, chilling in the back seat. Worst timing. And the wife will be sitting there and be like, I just push out a human. You get out. And I'm not getting out either. You check this car up with me in it.
Starting point is 01:14:38 I've done enough today. Yeah, I've done enough for this life. Um, Alkeno Gorge. Oh, terrible place to get a... Rainy winter's night, no reception, nowhere to pull over, so just kept driving to Mokow. Mokau. I ended up with two flat tires, two cracked rooms and a hole in the bottom of the driver's door. Holy shit, that bad. I'm guessing the car was...
Starting point is 01:14:57 I mean, there's kind of places you can pull up. Not really. It wasn't even their car. It was the boss's car. It wasn't even their car. Yeah. Someone said the Wainoo Amata Hill in Wellington, or in the right lane. so you're just, you've ruined everyone's day. Everyone, the traffic is bad in all of Wellington because of you.
Starting point is 01:15:18 I got a flat tire after my partner's funeral, which meant we were the last ones to the wake. While we were changing the tire, the kids were happily playing and saw smoke coming from the crematorium chimney, to which they all happily yelled. Look at Stad. That's a grim story. I mean, go to the great dark sense of humor.
Starting point is 01:15:34 Great, they're going to grow up. A, tormented, but funny. Men are going to grow up funny. Do you not feel if you've been to your partner's funeral? The world's given you a laugh. Yeah, I mean, that would break away. Flat tie. I just be like, I'm...
Starting point is 01:15:49 I just couldn't. I just walk away. Or you burst out laughing. And you just be like, when it rains at pause. Yeah. I'm very sorry to hear about your partner. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:59 A couple of medals. Great yarn. Yeah, by the way, guys, a couple of medals in the last week while at the Commonwealth games. Silver for Erica Fairweather in the 800-meter freestyle. A silver for Lauren Bruce in the hammerthroat. Oh, we're in the athletics. Gold. For Zoe Hose.
Starting point is 01:16:16 And the woman's 100 metre sprint. So isn't that fantastic? That's great news. Oh, I love this because we've had lots of swimming happening. We're into the athletics here. Yeah, so we've got some athletics now. So the medal count for New Zealand, three gold, seven silver and three bronze. Isn't that fantastic?
Starting point is 01:16:34 Well, someone's just messaged in, Haley, what's the pre-sale co-sist system of down tickets? Dedrick, it's Shimmy. All in capitals. Shimmy! You got your tickets yesterday, didn't you? Yeah, I did indeed. The Z&M Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley.
Starting point is 01:17:08 Silly little poll today deals with microwave meals. Tis been a while for me. Between microwave meals. Well, it's more just reheating them. Yeah. I mean, that could mean supermarket wines or leftovers in the fridge. Yeah. If you're eating a microwave meal, do you replate the food?
Starting point is 01:17:26 Oh, I see. Or do you just eat it out of the container it's in? Or if it's leftovers, I guess, do you just like rock it straight out of the plastic systemer? Yum, yum, yum, yum. I reckon replayed it. I only replayed it to spread it out and then heat it. Yeah. Because if it's in any sort of like deep tub, you're going to get a classic burning on the outside,
Starting point is 01:17:46 throws them on the mids. You do a midway stir? Do you know what's funny? Is like I would replate for dinner and not replate for lunch? That's fair. You know what I mean? Absolutely, that's fair. It feels more like formal.
Starting point is 01:17:57 Yeah, yeah. And a casualness. It is a family. Okay. Yeah. If you're eating a microwave, me, do you replay it the food? The options where no, I keep it in the original container.
Starting point is 01:18:06 Yes, I replayed it before reheating. Or, yes, I replayed it after heating. 56% of people leave it in the original container. Less dishes. Yeah, and then, exactly. They don't want to be cleaning up. So just eat it out of the systemer or what it came in. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 01:18:22 Yes. I could be bothered with dishes. I replayed it before heating was 25. And yes, I replated after heating, 19%. Oh, okay. Okay. We're all living life differently, isn't that lovely? Tar said, what is the point?
Starting point is 01:18:34 I will have dishes to do. Microwave meal equals no dishes. Oh, so she's thinking the meal that you get from the supermarket already in that plastic thing in microwave and then just bin the whole lot. But then we shouldn't be using, we shouldn't be plasticing, should we? Because doesn't it leach into our bodies or something? It's the least about concerns home. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:53 Honestly, like leak away. What are you going to do? Other issues in there. Good luck in there, fighting everything else. Hey, plastic, if you could just take out the stress and the booze. Yeah. Good luck. Hey, plastic, meat whiskey.
Starting point is 01:19:04 It's the middle table for what's trying to kill me. Yeah. First booze, the undefeated champion. The plastics in there like, what's asking here? The plastics like, why? Smoky in here. What's on fire?
Starting point is 01:19:19 Depends if it's at work. At work, it'll be a container, and then at home I'll replay it as the work plates are gross. and I don't want my food touching them. I was also, maybe it changes as well depending on how many serves there are. You know what I mean? Like if I've made a big spaghetti bowl or something
Starting point is 01:19:35 and I've fridged the whole thing and I'm just having one serve. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, take out. Take out. Yeah. Yeah. Samantha said I recently purchased glass containers so I didn't need to transfer it.
Starting point is 01:19:46 But if it was in plastic, for sure, I'm transferring before heating. Yeah, okay. I normally replayed after heating because I'm normally having it with something like a salad or additional vegetables. Also because the packaging so hot after hitting and I hope is. Healthy.
Starting point is 01:20:00 Zachary, I do all of these as it depends on what it is. Crossover to Vaughan as he's the man that will have the most responsible answer for this poll. Thanks. I appreciate that. You're a trusted man of the nation. You're a trusted people. Yeah. I put it on to the plate before I had it, as I said, just to spread it out.
Starting point is 01:20:16 Give it a bit of spread on that thing. Yeah. Emily said, totally depends if the container gives me the ick or not. That's a really good call. That's a really good call, actually. How stained is the Sistema? Yeah. Make your call from container to...
Starting point is 01:20:30 On a container to container basis. Yeah, good call. I'm all for minimal dishes, so I'll eat it out of the thing I've just headed it in. Says Aisha. Yeah, nice. Ash said, replay it.
Starting point is 01:20:42 ID, GAF. I don't give a fart. If the plastic is microwavable... I thought you were going to swear there, Haley. Goodness. I already unwillingly consume microplastics. don't need to be doing it on purpose, says Ash. Yeah, yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 01:20:59 All these people keeping it in their rigid container are making me sick. Oh. Oh, said Sarah. Okay. Passion. Oh, okay. It has to go in a different container because it cools down faster. What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:21:13 Oh, if you take it out and put it on a plate. Does my grant, I always remember my nana pre-heeding a plate before she put dinner on it. Because if a cold plate got food on it, it would suck the heat out of the food. Oh, Patsy does that if she's hosting a partially. Yeah, pre-heat the plate. In the oven. Restaurants do. Don't touch the plate.
Starting point is 01:21:28 Just hot. Just a little warning for the table. Just careful on that plate. It's a hot one. Do you always touch the plate to see how full of shit they were? Yeah, same. And sometimes it's really hot and you're like, they were right. Or when they break it like a hot skillet or a hot plate like an Asian restaurant, you're like, can't be that hot.
Starting point is 01:21:44 Tap, tap. You didn't tell me it was that hot. You just said hot. You said hot. Steph says no microwave, no plastic has ever been in my microwave. nor would ever be glass or a ceramic plate or bar place? That's a higher standard of living that we're doing. She must have a great body, you know, like no plastic.
Starting point is 01:22:01 Yeah, like pure and clean and looks fresh. Yeah, she won't have plastic beads from her body, body wash exfolion and her body. Yeah, I feel like when you look at me, you can tell them full of microplastic. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you give big microplastics. Yeah, yeah. You can almost see them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. 100%.
Starting point is 01:22:20 Yeah, I can't wait till there's a, um, one of those things everyone's taking, peptide. There's a peptide to flush out the plastics. We're going to get into these peptides. There's a petripe for everything, hon. Is there? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Aging? Yep, yep. Fetty? There's a peptide that gives you a tan. Apparently very dangerous. Yeah, but what's more dangerous? The microplastics.
Starting point is 01:22:42 Terrible, I look, when I'm white. Yeah, the microplastics, being pasty, the peptide, the booze, the sick. Yeah, everything's trying to kill us. So if you're reheating a micro of meal, how do you replate the food? and 56% he said, nope, it stays in the original container. The ZM Podcast Network. 0,800 dials at M is our number. Does your name cause you problems?
Starting point is 01:23:03 Did your parents give you a ridiculous spelling of a name? Yeah. A really long name. Yeah. Remember, I have a friend that I marched with for years, her name was K-O. K, capital K, space, capital O, space, per se a name. It wasn't short for anything. So, no, it wasn't abbreviation.
Starting point is 01:23:21 It was K-O. K-O. Like said chaos. No. And when we would fly, her passport is obviously as documented. Yeah. But every booking agent would get it wrong or put a dot and then it doesn't match. So that was a nightmare for her.
Starting point is 01:23:37 That was, yeah, I bet. Okay, well, the reason we asked this this morning is because a Colorado woman, her name has given her issues because it's too long to fit on her health insurance card. Oh no. And it's causing claims to be a. denied. Oh no, because that ain't you. She is from Colorado. She is called Carrie Ann Weinberger
Starting point is 01:23:58 Mono. That's not too bad. That's not too long, right? God, I know some real longies. And yeah, for years, she's been known as Mrs. Weinberger. But when she got married 34 years ago, she kept her maiden name and added the Minot. Shubbed another one on.
Starting point is 01:24:14 But because it's really long, she's battling health insurance because it's too long for their form. They're weird over there with their insurance. But also, like, I think there's sometimes, you know, when you're coming in on an arrival cart. Yes. Haley Jane Sprowe fits, but, like, there's not a lot of room. I know.
Starting point is 01:24:31 Mine's not a long name. That is my pet peeve when you have to fill out a form. The boxes are too small. You've got to do a letter per box. The email one? And there's not enough. There's not enough for the box. There's not enough boxes.
Starting point is 01:24:42 The email, I'm like, I've got to put at gmail.com in here. You've left me fall. I ignore the boxes. I ignore the boxes. You just free form. No, but then. Freveformer and just raw doggard. No, because a lot of them are scanned form.
Starting point is 01:24:55 They scan the form. That's their fault. I know. More boxes provided plays. I feel like this is why everything takes so long for you because it has to be done by hand. Yeah. Oh my God, we've just heard from Maria Elizabeth Karina Arunca,
Starting point is 01:25:06 Giovanni Alangelo. That's long. Quite a mouthful. I'd be like, Maria, initial, initial, initial, initial, initial, initial, initial. Even your name, Vaughn. Like, you deal with Vajhan, you deal with like. Oh, yeah, people were saying it wrong.
Starting point is 01:25:20 People can't say it. They spell it wrong all the time when you say it to them. I love lately I've really taken to like eyeballing them. People look at the screen and then look at me and I'm like, oh, I'm here to, it was an online order or whatever, go to pick something up and they go. Vagahehan. And they squint at me and then they take their shot and I'm like, close.
Starting point is 01:25:38 You know, Chris Parker's husband, Michael Michael is his name. Michael Michael. First name Michael, second name Michael. How did that happen? Wait, is it Michael's? M-I-C-H-A-E-L, M-I-C-H-E-A-L. Because his mum at the time was like, I don't know. They just give them both.
Starting point is 01:25:56 I kind of like that. So when he goes Michael, Michael, Michael, middle name. McCabe is his last one. Oh, right, Michael, Michael, Michael. Michael M. And so for him, it would be having to say which one goes first, the A-E and then the E-A. You make you feel they're spelled correctly. Because otherwise you're like, first-name Michael, middle-name Michael.
Starting point is 01:26:13 This is the thing. Sometimes parents aren't thinking about the admin that they're... My friend, Anna, is only called Anna because her mum misspout Anna on the form. Yeah. And so they'll like, find your Anna. Okay, 0800 dials at Amazon. I'm a 9-6-96 to text in. Does your name cause you constant problems?
Starting point is 01:26:33 Jax, you hate your full name. I really don't like it, yeah. So, Jacks, is just a little nickname? It's just the easiest way to go about it, really. But ever then, sometimes it's like, oh, is that with the CK. is that with an X. Is your name, Jacqueline Joanne Feeney, you're named after JJ Feeney, the full form?
Starting point is 01:26:53 And you don't like having to explain that story. Parents are huge fans. Wait, so it's J.A.X. Yeah, the short version is J.A.A.A.A. Give us the long one. Jackson a million. Jackson a million. Oh, that's cool, though.
Starting point is 01:27:10 That's cool. James A million. Like Maxa million, but Jack's a million. Yeah. Is that a custom job, or is that an established? name somewhere? I really don't know. The only reason it came about
Starting point is 01:27:23 was because that's one of those people that always says, oh yeah, a million percent this, a million percent that. He's like, screw it, we're putting it on the name. Jackson, because there's lots of Max a million. Yeah, yeah. And then even the Maxa Millions go by Max, right? Like, nobody wants that. Dude, I've tried to look up at Jackson Millian.
Starting point is 01:27:39 No, nothing, eh? Have you ever come in contact with another Jackson a million? No, never. Wow. I don't know, dude. I kind of like it. How old are you, Jacks? Can I ask?
Starting point is 01:27:51 26. I reckon it may be maybe 10 years you're going to come around to it and be like, this rolls. I don't know, but Jackson a million has to fill out the forms. It's a lot, isn't it? It's a lot. Jackson Millian. Yeah. Do you have a long, middle and last name?
Starting point is 01:28:06 No, I'm like very human. Okay. Normal. Yeah, my first name is definitely something he gives you a dog, but the rest of my name is very Shax-Million Smith. Jacks and, yeah. Jack's a million. I love it. I love it. Jack's a million Jones.
Starting point is 01:28:19 I don't know if I'd hate that last night, that first name. I love it. That's up to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, Jacks, thank you for calling through. Let's go to Ashley. You've got a very long name, Ashley. Yes. And it causes you problems. Yeah, I'm forever having to spell it out, and I'm always having to shorten it to just Ashley Lintot.
Starting point is 01:28:40 But my full name is Ashley Nelly Louise Lintot Browning. Ashley Vali Louise. Wiesel and Hot browning. Yeah, that's a, you've got three too men's a lot. A chocolate brand, doesn't it? That's a false sentence at that right. Yeah, God, it is, isn't it? What were your parents thinking?
Starting point is 01:28:56 Have you discussed this with them? Yeah, I have, and my mum just said she couldn't decide that whether I have my dad's or my mum's last name, so they improvised and just had split. What if you got married? What if you get married? Are you married? No. What if you get married and then your, your partner's like,
Starting point is 01:29:16 you know, mean the world to me to have that name in there and you've got to whack another one on, Ashley. No, no, I would get rid of it. My partner's last name's tour, so we would just be Ashley, Nelly, Louise, tour. You're that shorter. It's still long, though, isn't it? Yeah, yeah, your partner needs to propose quick smart.
Starting point is 01:29:35 You must run out of space on forms, Ashley. Oh, I do, I do, and I always just go by Ashley on top. But the hyphenated also adds in, you know, another. Oh, you've got a dash in there? Yeah, I've been dashed twice. Is that a problem in booking flights? Because I was booking flights through a friend who's got a dash in his last name. Yeah. And that
Starting point is 01:29:56 the airline bookings don't like dashes. I don't like dash. Even though hyphens it. Yeah, you can't use a dash. You've just got to leave a space, but then that's not what the passport says. It's not what his name is. No. And for either, they're always looking at, like, license as well and they'll just look at me and I'm like,
Starting point is 01:30:12 oh, it's just national litter. Yeah, just ignore all that other shit. Well, you can thank your mum for that. Ashley, thank you. Let's go to Rubin Rubin. Your name gives you problems? Yeah, so there's the spelling variations for starters, so much so that my mum put it on my birth certificate one way
Starting point is 01:30:31 and then raised me spelling it another. That's me, that's great. It's also a Kenny Rogers song, so I have old ladies sing it to me often. Rubin. It's a sandwich, too. I love it. Yeah, it's a good sandwich, Ruben.
Starting point is 01:30:47 Beautiful, Sammy. Yeah, so my first name legally is Ruben James. Ruben James. Okay. Yeah. That's a kiddie Rogers song, but my mum's spelling it wrong did end up for consequence of me
Starting point is 01:31:02 getting warranted out for my wrist when I was older, and later on life. Oh my God, why? So, naughty boy, got a few fines. Yeah. And I was paying them, but I rang up to get a phone. fine summary and they ended up with two files for me. One, the way I spell my name and the other way, it's a legal way.
Starting point is 01:31:23 The legal way you had a warrant out for my arrest. So Rubin, are you on the, did you pay your fines? Are you on the straight and narrow now? You're good boy? I am fine free and they merged both files so it won't happen. Beautiful, Rubin. Merge the files. Rubin, Kenney spelled it R-E-U-B-E-N. How was your spout? Yeah, so I-U-B-E-E-N, but my mum put it on my birth to get it as R-U-E-B-E-E-N. Oh, right. Should we listen to a little bit of Kenny Rogers Rubin-Jane? Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:31:58 We actually crank that. I'm glad that this kind of opportunity didn't lead you into a life of crime. Yeah. You know what I mean? He might have gone. He might have got a taste for the bad boy life. Yeah. Okay, just one moment.
Starting point is 01:32:11 Sorry, one moment, Ruby. Just listen to some Kenny G. Kenny Rogers. Sorry, not Jay. Not nearly enough clarinet for Kenny G. But we love Kenny. Okay, is mum still a big fan? I don't know. She's dead. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:26 I'd imagine. I know when I asked it, I was like, God, I hope she's not dead and she is dead. God, Christ. Sorry. Sorry about that, Rubin. At least I guess she's not spelling your name wrong. So is Kenny Rogers, though. Mom might be up in heaven with Kenny Rogers, having a bit of a...
Starting point is 01:32:40 You'll never guess what my son's name is, Kenny. Love that. Thank you, Rubin. All right, some messages in. Thanks, Robin. Sorry to hear about your mom. Yeah. Sorry about that.
Starting point is 01:32:53 My mom's still alive, but I don't think I'll ever be able to say out loudly. No, no, no, I don't know. She's dead. I think you've got to move on. You've got to. Thank you, Rubin. Everybody dies sometimes. Sorry to hear about your mum.
Starting point is 01:33:07 If I'll ever be able to. Yeah. V-E-A-U. So that's like... V-S-Hon. That's almost like the show. So vaux. Voshawn.
Starting point is 01:33:17 Voshawn. You can see we're having trouble with it. Yep. Somebody else said, I just answered anything really. My name can be said a thousand different ways, so I just always say, yep. Yep. That's me.
Starting point is 01:33:27 We've had a Latitia messenger. My nana was Latisha. Letitia? Yeah, the teachers say Latitia, Letish. Go by Tish. Yeah. My name is Tempani.
Starting point is 01:33:39 And I work in customer service. I have a list of names customers called me. It's currently at 20 different names. I don't correct them because the same is pointless. I'm never going to talk to these people again. Yeah, fair. Nona did my mum dirty and told her that name was
Starting point is 01:33:53 Alessandra Deanna. Mums got my sand to her whole life. Turns out her birth certificate states Diane. Oh wow. That's a few curveballs thrown mum's mom's way. My name is we've had another Latisha in so I just didn't meet somebody about of Littia. I would say looking at Latisha though, you get over to Latidia.
Starting point is 01:34:12 Yeah, she gets Latitia. Another Letitia spout different. My name is Anika. I get Annette, Anika. Anika. It might not be Angela, Anna. Not even close. When I was a kid, another kid said,
Starting point is 01:34:26 I'm going to call you vinegar. That'll do. That's pretty cute. Tennessee, like the state, you can imagine my problem. You can see it there, where your parents, blah, blah, blah, Tennessee whiskey. Now, I remember this person. There's a TV presenter in South Africa called Scott, Scott.
Starting point is 01:34:41 Scott. First name, Scott. What, unlike the news. I was Scott, signing off, I'm Scott Scott Scott for Scott Scott. Scott Scott Scott. Scott Scott Scott. Scott Scott. It's my favorite TV presenter when I lived here.
Starting point is 01:34:55 Scott Scott Scott. Scott. He found some Scott to say I used to say. Legend of a presenter, Scott, became a household name is Action Man on a reality TV show. Okay. Right. Remember here. We have also heard from a lot of, that's a different accent,
Starting point is 01:35:08 Irish people, Chavorn. Oh, yeah. Syabans. Syabans. Syabans. absolutely suck about. Yeah, I bet. Play, that ends, Flesh won and Haley.
Starting point is 01:35:20 I reckon I might have been on the receiving end of a little bit of an FU last night. Oh. Yeah, I think so. Do you, like, you've told us a few stories lately of... Yeah. Do you reckon people have had enough? Do you reckon that, like, people are...
Starting point is 01:35:34 You're not as likable as you perhaps think you are. You know what? I have been reflecting on this as of late. I used to pride myself in being a very likable person, being very amicable, friendly, I go above and beyond. I really, I like to be liked. And I do feel like it's getting harder. Yeah, because you're getting annoyed by everyone and everything.
Starting point is 01:35:58 Yeah. And you're not hiding your feelings. And I think because the way my life is shaping out, I don't have a lot of time to be pleasant anymore. Right. Okay. No, no, no, no. So yesterday I went to a pub.
Starting point is 01:36:11 for dinner because I was just running late, had no food in the, in the, in the kitchen that I wanted to deal with. So that whole just making things out of, no, I'm doing well, I had a bagel this morning everything in your pantry was going right until yesterday. Yeah, yesterday was not the day for it. Yeah. And so I was like, well, let's go to the pub and, you know, just get a quick little easy dinner. And this is a pub I've gone to so many times before, but not for months. Okay. I've been off pubs. Yeah. And went to this place that have been a thousand times and got one of the dishes I've a thousand times. Like one of the dishes that I'll get
Starting point is 01:36:44 every single time, no doubt. It's a starter. So I'm always like, no matter what I'm getting, that's coming with me. Is it the, what's it? It's a pub. It's fish. It's fish.
Starting point is 01:36:56 Yeah, it's fish. Fish dish. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Fair cool. Fish dish. A smoked fish dish. Yeah, fair cool, that's gum.
Starting point is 01:37:02 Right? Smoked fish dish, I always get this little thing. And the plate started arriving yesterday, and I've had a bit damn tired and stuff, but it's my favorite dish. I go and I eat it and it's just immediately too salty. Like it's fine. It's happened sometimes.
Starting point is 01:37:18 It's just been oversalted. And I said to my friend, I'm like, can you try this and tell me if you think it's too salty? Like am I being a prima don't. Am I just being on, you know, my pellets off today, darling. And he was like, oh, you know, that's pretty bloody salty. And I was like, yeah, it's too salty. And I was like, man, I've really been looking forward to this. So, and I don't usually do this, but the waitress comes over and she's like, how is everything?
Starting point is 01:37:41 I was like, great, man, everything's great. I said, oh, it's just, that's really salty. Like, more salty. And I said, I always get, it's my favourite dish. So, yeah. And she was like, oh, okay. And I was like, so can you ask if I could get a new one? Let's punch back the salt.
Starting point is 01:37:55 Yeah. And she was like, oh yeah, I'll just go talk to the kitchen. Kitchen, public kitchen, so the kitchen's right there. Yeah. We're an eye line. Oh, no. See, I just want to eat it salty. No, it was so salty.
Starting point is 01:38:06 I hate waiting. I just want it. I've had some real salty meals lately. Yeah, yeah. It's too salty. Come on, I love salt. Anyway, so she goes to the kitchen, and I'm just like, cool, we're going to go, you know, eating the rest of the things. She comes over, she goes, oh, I'm so sorry.
Starting point is 01:38:20 Like, we can't do like a fresh one because it's kind of batch made. You know, it's like a dip. Oh, right. It's kind of batch made, so, you know. It is salty. It's salty. A whole lot salty. Yeah, so she was like, but we'll just take it off the bill and do you want to order something else.
Starting point is 01:38:34 And I was like, yeah, that's fine. And I order two little meat sticks. Oh, yeah. Okay. And then the meat sticks arrive. and I take a little bite of the skewer and it's really undersalted.
Starting point is 01:38:47 All right. Okay? It's beef. That's an FU meal. And it is undersalted. And I go to the point and then I say to my friend, have a little nibble.
Starting point is 01:38:58 What do you think? And you tell me if this is undersalted, is a nibble, he's like... But at least now you can put your salt on. So I go to the table next to me, we don't have salt on our table. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:08 I go to the table next to me and I get the salt. And I crack it on and I look up. And the chef, she's looking at me. And she has what I have, I discern as a sort of an effew in her eye. Yeah, yeah, good. And I think she thinks, huh, you think that was too salty?
Starting point is 01:39:25 Well, I give you no salt at all. That's what I think happened. Yeah, I love that she was looking at you. She was looking at me. Putting salt on the meal that I got. It's a replacement for the meal that was too salty. I mean, in her fairness, she probably didn't want to touch the salt.
Starting point is 01:39:40 Because you'd complain. I think she thinks that the salt was fine on the first dish. And I've got a rough palate, so she's going to go, here you go. No salt for you. Here's what an unsalted meal tastes like, you bouch. Take that. Take that. See you, see you later.
Starting point is 01:39:54 Actually, I'm going to have to stop you there. That's copyrighted. Suezzi K, who's a very good friend of mine. She's already sued me twice. So if you could maybe get her to drop her litigious action, that would be great. Tell her, I'll review her five stars. Yeah. If she does the same for this podcast.
Starting point is 01:40:07 Yeah. And then she tells all her friends. And if you're listening, maybe give it. give it five stars as well. Play ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley.
