Starting point is 00:00:00 From the ZDM Podcast Network. This is Fleshwood and Haley's Big Pod. Brought to you by Chemist Warehouse. The biggest brands of the lowest prices. Good morning, happy Friday. Welcome to the show, Fletch, Vaughn and Hailey. More gold medals. That's fantastic, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:00:15 It's just bloody nailing it. I'm trying to find the, oh, here we go. New Zealand's medal count. Four gold now. Wow. Eight silver and six bronze. Now where are we at per capita? Because as a show we love us.
Starting point is 00:00:28 It's really good, isn't it? Surely we've got to be up. there. But all it takes is one of those little commonwealth island nations to win wine and we're screwed. Yeah, exactly. But yeah, not too bad, you know, we always punch above our weight, don't we? Speaking of small island nations, you see, Nauru changed its name.
Starting point is 00:00:44 What's it called now? Similar but different spelling. Remember when Turkey was like... No, we're Turkey. Oh, okay. Bit of a that situation. Right. So they were going to vote on it, and then I think they just decided it wasn't worth the vote.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Right. Nayaru? Yeah. Normally, N-A-U-R-U, now it's N-A-O-E-R-O. How would you say that? Ni A-A-O-A-O-O-A-W-A-W-H-E-A-O. It's hard not to put a Māori spin on it. It is.
Starting point is 00:01:15 It is. It might change my name. Yeah. How else what I spell, Hayley? We've got to change with the signs now, don't we? Yeah, you've got to go great for the local sign writer. Great years for the local sign writer. Do you think that's the only reason there was some groundswell movement is because the island's only sign writer was like, this would be great to business.
Starting point is 00:01:34 She's pretty quiet on the business front. It's been more, I be quiet on the island. Haven't written a sign in years. And then he's like, do you think we should change the speed limits? I reckon this is the, they used to be known as Pleasant Island, then changed to Nauru, and now it's Nayaru, or the Republic of Naido. I reckon that sign road is absolutely. Oh, no, can I. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Every 20 years. Probably the richest one on the island. So many name changes. Silling the depolar is coming up soon, and we've asked a question today, how do you touch the pedestrian crossing button? Did you answer, I don't at all, I'm a menace, I can take the road into my own hands and just cross as I want to do. Unless it's busy, I'll just jaywalk, absolutely. But yeah, it's either the phone or the back of the hand or the arm. Anything but the thingy.
Starting point is 00:02:23 So I want to touch a germy button. That's coming up the result soon with silly little pole. It's that time of the year. You may be owed some money. The UD might have some of your sweet, sweet cash. The IRD will give you the detail soon, but yeah, there's a way that you can find out. if you're owed money. Surely not.
Starting point is 00:02:41 By the government. I feel like I owe them. And it's a massive list, isn't it? Do you have a total amount? $168 million. I'll have a little slice. Haley Sprout could be 169, but I've bookmarked a million of it. You've just said he's taken a mail.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Next on the show, it's bad news for you, Haley. All good news, depending on which way you look at it. Yeah. Science has proven that crazy cat ladies are real. Hey. A real. I'm about to get crazier, I reckon. The Fletchborn and Haley
Starting point is 00:03:12 Big Pod Crazy cat ladies Would you say you're a crazy cat lady? Yeah, I just I just I just want to sniff him All the time My cat smells good too
Starting point is 00:03:26 God Wait am I a crazy cat lady now Can I see my cat? There's just gendered specifically to ladies Because Well it's always It's a trope It's always been the stereotype
Starting point is 00:03:35 Whether it's movies or TV shows Spinster Old Witchy Spinster Yeah, yeah, yeah. Loves her cats. But I think my cat is God's gift. And I know when the day comes, which will be in 59 years, that I will be replacing him with, like, I think maybe four at once.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Do you know what I mean? Because you've got to kind of get them in a batch so that they grow up together. And they like each other. And I just want to be surrounded by them. And then you know, I have a dream of moving to Thailand and working at a cat sanctuary for a year. Yeah. Do you think when they shut down those,
Starting point is 00:04:14 you know, there's always those stories in the news about someone hoarding like 100 cats? Do you think most of the time it's women or it's men? Women. What is it, eh? What is it? Scientists from the University of Lucerne looked into this. Oh, Lucerne.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Glitland. Glitland. I've been there. And they have found that women tend to feel more attached to their pets and men do. So they surveyed adults about their relationships with animals and the results revealed that women feel attached to their pets so received more socio-emotional support from them. They spend more time with them than men
Starting point is 00:04:51 and people that own dogs as well. And I also, I wonder, because Rolly, my cat, I love him so much but I think he prefers the company of men. You know what I mean? Like he, when there's a man around being a new man or my dad or whatever. He's sexist.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Is he sexist? All gay. All gay. All gay. Yeah. I'm TBC. Yeah. But I think he can smell my catwoman desperation.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Right. You know what I mean? It's kind of like why kids love me because they know that I'm like, okay. You know what I mean? Kind of indifferent to them. Whereas, yeah, Rolly can feel that I'm like, I love you. And he's like, mmch is up to like a builder or like anyone is like, I love this man. But yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:36 How dare you? it was science, but it's nice that we're getting things out of cats, that we can't get out of men. The history of cat, of like the crazy cat lady trope. Oh yeah. So, witches? Yes, witches. Salem.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Witches was a massive one. It was unmarried woman. People are like, what's wrong with her? Why doesn't she want a good man with a solid penis? Yeah, a solid penis and a hardworking job. And a lot of them just had cats for company, as you said. And often back in the day, roe. The rodent control.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Oh, you agree. A rodent control. There wasn't a man around to take care of the rodents. Yeah. The cats would step into that. Because it's funny that you'd go, there's a crazy cat lady, and then there's man's best friend as the dog. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:22 That that kind of thing. You don't really have like cat crazy dog ladies. Do you think it's because, like, in the traditional roles of it, women were homebound, as cats often are. Yes. Sleeping during the day, but we're adventuring at night. Whereas men were out and about. and the dogs, dogs larvae out and about.
Starting point is 00:06:40 And you'd use them for hunting as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I just think that cats have similar temperaments to a lot of women. Right. Everything's going sweet and then knock. And they're like, don't touch me, don't look at me, I'm hungry. Touch me here, touch me here, touch me here, touch me there. Don't touch me there.
Starting point is 00:06:57 I'll swipe at you. What do you want? You desperate loser. Both famously love when you get their belly and you just like rub it side to side and you're like, wobble, wobble. in the belly and we just go, I hate you. The ZN Podcast Network. Inland Revenue Department may have. Boom.
Starting point is 00:07:17 No, they do the Lord's work. They take from us. And they giveeth. And they giveeth. And we get roads out of it and stuff. Apparently. Roads and booms. The IRD is holding a whole lot of unclaimed money,
Starting point is 00:07:32 like forgotten bank accounts, unpaid wages or insurance payouts. Because it all ends up with business. business goes under and they've got money and they're holding money for you. Yeah, and they can't get a hold of you. The IRD takes that on. Yeah, that's right. So the IRD, in fact, I could probably give this a red hot copy and paste if you want to because it's, by the way, the news articles that I had just kept going,
Starting point is 00:07:55 log into your my IR, log into your my IR and you can search for you specifically. I'm like, well, there's no fun in that. I want to search my workmates. Oh, you're fair enough. I can shoot you. If you want to see if you're on this list, I can shoot you a 9696, say, IRD link, please.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I'll reply me, I'll take the time to reply to you. Do they not have a we owe you money. com or something? IrD.gov.com. nz slash unclaimed money slash claimed hyphen unclaimed money. Oh, that doesn't roll off the time.
Starting point is 00:08:24 No. Does it want to give this money back or not? No, of course they don't. Of course they don't. I don't think they want to give the money back. Because I always think, because I've got, I do two jobs. right, one freelance, one seller.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I'm always like, the way mine goes, I always end up owing a bit, a little bit. So I wouldn't bother checking, but I didn't, because you think, no, it's not, I'm not entitled to a tax return. Yeah. But it's other little bitty wits. Yeah, and I love searching, like,
Starting point is 00:08:51 you can search family members and friends. It's amazing. Oh my God, you just search anyone. Like imagine if you found out your friend got a thousand bucks or something. You'd be like, hey, let's go after lunch. I found this for you. Your show.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Yeah, she'll drink on Friday. Man, the I had any website's clever. I had us all open in different tabs. And I've just gone to look it up and it says, it appears you've duplicated a browser tab and so we've closed this one so you're not going to be able to see it. Oh, okay. Sneaky little snarky little bitch.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Yeah, what a snarky little bitch? So now I've had to go back and do it again, but now it's not just saying check every box with a car in it. It's keep checking boxes until all the cars are gone. Oh my God. It's 2026. Like, are we over the how many buses are in this box thing? How many pedestrian signs and you can just see the rim of one? You're like, well, technically, is that in there?
Starting point is 00:09:34 What are we doing? So I've searched Haley Sprow. Okay. No direct name matches for Haley Sproul, unfortunately. Oh, no money for you. However, Kerry Sproul is that $2,500 sitting under Kerry's name. Now, Kerry's no relation. I've never met a Kerry.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Kerry Sproul, EML payment solutions have $2,000 for you. It's not a popular name, though, Sprow, is it? You must be related in some way. There's a few 1Ls, I believe, down in the Southland. Now there's all two hours. She's double out. There's Aileen, Leslie, Leanne, Fergus and Kerry. I know none of these women.
Starting point is 00:10:10 That are all... Sprouls. And they're out of two hours. Yeah. Oh, get on there. 96. Are you a sprawl? Just we could connect. Okay, so not me.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Not you. It's so disappointing. It's not going to be... I said before, I was unusually prepared. And look, it's just all blown up my face. This is why if you try, you fail. No, it's fun. This is fun.
Starting point is 00:10:32 It's great. It's great. It's great. you often fail. Carl Fletcher. Nothing under your direct name, sir. However, sorry, babe.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Carol Fletcher is owed $162 by Contact Energy. Oh, really? Vow Fletcher is owed $233 by Baycourt. Oh, you owe Baycourt. The same thing never received money from Baycourt. That's it. Turn around, isn't it? Mr. Cameron Fletcher is owed $200 from Sky Television.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Oh. Did they over bill him and then he disappeared? Maybe. Maybe. And then if I scroll down to a Fletcher who's owed a lot of money, Chris Fletcher has owed $2,000 from Bunnings. Bunnings! Bunnings!
Starting point is 00:11:11 That could be, could that be former city councillor? Sam Fletcher, from Morrisville, I went to school with him. He's owed $2,500 by $2,000. Oh, God, text him. That is the most New Zealand thing ever. I went to school with him. Sam Fletcher. Sam, if you're listening,
Starting point is 00:11:27 I could literally find this guy on Facebook. Do you know you're owed $2,000? $5,000 for New World? Message him. I love this. See, this is why I love this tool. You could search all your friends. Like, we could search the gaggle. 100%. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:11:41 No, I haven't searched any of them. Okay, Carwin and the producers' booth. By the way, there's lots of, there's a few Vaughan Smiths, but it's like Vaughan Andrew Smith. Do you know, how crazy is that? Is it a Vaughan-Rew Smith in New Zealand? Do you, Alan Smith? It's not actually crazy.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Nah, nothing. Guys. No, there was a V-Smith that's owed money, but it's by a company. I've never had any. It's a buyer A-N-Z and I've never had an A-N-Z bank account. You should just say it's you. I'm here to collect.
Starting point is 00:12:08 I'm here to collect. Surely there'll be details on it. Yeah, give it a nudge. Carwin Jones, have you ever had any dealings with Flexi Finance, formerly Fisher and Pichael Finance? No. Do you have a higher purchase, maybe? No, not that I'm aware of.
Starting point is 00:12:22 So there's another Carwin Jones out there. I'll take it. What's your middle initial? M. Okay. C. H. Jones is owed $2,200 by $1. Well, power network. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Sorry. There's a Carwin Jones, but it's spout different. Okay, what about Shannon? Shan, last name, dog. Shan dog. Whiff is my middle name. Wiff, Shan, woof dog. And the I ID is not liking how many tabs I have open on.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Because I know there's another Shannon trim at the moment, because I got told. That's right. You went into the, and it was on the loyalty database. Yeah, that there was two Shannon Trims. No, there's not even, nah, there's Joan, Joan Linawere Trim. That's a nice name, isn't it? Do you know Joan Trim? No, but one time I was on Facebook and I found a mystery cousin.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Really? Nice. A naughty affair. Ah, love that. Well, that was very fun. That was fine, I like that. Hang on. This is good, well, if you want to do that.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Oh, you can search for a company. If you've ever owned a company, they might be owned. Yeah, right. Ode some money. Okay. What are you searching for? We've got a couple of messages from listeners. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Can you put in Mickey, M-I-C-E-Y? Could not be mouse. Curtin. C-U-R-T-I-N. C-U-R-T-I-N. Like curtains. Yeah. In your lounge, curtains.
Starting point is 00:13:40 No, because that's got a name. No, that's Curtain. Curtains, yeah. Nothing under Mickey. Oh, Mickey. Dennis Curtin has owed $6,000 by Westpac. Good look. What if that's Mickey's dad or granddad?
Starting point is 00:13:52 Really sorry. I reckon if that's Mickey's dad and Mickey's like, Hey, Dad, $6,000 from Westpac is just sitting waiting for you. He'll say, Mickey, you're so fine. You'll so fine you blow my mind. Hey, Mickey. Hey, Mickey. I reckon he's ever heard that, ever in their life.
Starting point is 00:14:11 One more, one more listener. Can you put in John? No. Because there'll be too many. Mickey was good. Mickey, no. Perfect example. I'm not putting a John anything.
Starting point is 00:14:25 I'm sorry. Vanessa? Yeah, okay. V-A-N-E-S-E-S-A. I'll do a Vanessa. Hudgens. She's just had her second baby, eh? Is she?
Starting point is 00:14:35 Yeah, she just had a second child with that baseball player. Kirk. K-I-R-K. K-I-R-K. I am not, oh God, okay, I'm not a robot. Select images of cars. That one, that one, that one, that one, that one. We could have had these pre-open.
Starting point is 00:14:47 I'll just say that. He should have had them ready to go. I did, you piece of shit. He should have them ready to go. This is so slack. No, her name was Vinny's. Vanessa Kirk, eh? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Okay, a Jessica Kirk is owed $125 by the A&Z. Oh my God, this is so much fun. Diana Kirk is owed $2,200 by I-R-D Kiwi-saver. Oh, die. I wonder who is owed the most. Oh, yeah. That would be fun. I would love to be able to figure it out, buy money, and it was like, owed $65.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, if you want to give that a go and search your name. Shoot us a 9-6-9-6-6. Are you going to see all these people a link? Yeah, they all send it in, have that? There's so many people asking for the link You're personally going to do this admin Because Carwin's not doing it's busy
Starting point is 00:15:30 I'll do it now What else have I got coming up? Play ZN's Flash One and Haley Flatfire and Haley Silly Little Poe There's so silly, silly, silly That's silly little Well today's silly little poll
Starting point is 00:15:54 Is what do you use to press The Pedestrian Crossing button Do you know I'm like a foot or an elbow Or something? I'm an elbow guy Kind of got used to that from COVID times Yeah or back of the hands Back of the hand.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Yeah, back of the hand. Like a fist. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Never the finger anymore. Sometimes the phone, if I'm holding the phone. I'll use the phone to press the elevator button to work. Yeah. If I've already got my phone out, do it a corner of that.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Maybe I'll give it a red hot back of the fist. Yeah. Sometimes I'll kick it if I'm feeling like a ninja. Yeah, I'll kick it too. Yeah. Isn't it funny that we literally talk was it yesterday about, you know, poopy lime scooter handles and you wrap your mitts around those? And you're like, I simply couldn't push a pedestrian.
Starting point is 00:16:35 I'm not going to push that. I could have that. I'm not going to push that stainless steel. I will just press it. Like, I don't really care. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we asked, do you use your hands, your arms, your feet, or another?
Starting point is 00:16:45 Tit, could be nose. Don't use your nose and don't use your tip. It would be my. No greater joy in you're at the lights about to cross the road and, you know, the lights haven't come on. You've got to press it so that it goes red and then green. No greater joy in beating a small child to pushing the button. Oh. Yeah, especially if you kind of like have to shuffle them to the side.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Yeah, just like... And be like, none of my watch. I thought you were saying when you push it and it immediately goes, you get click and it goes, diga-d-d-d-gig-d-gig-gig-gat. Like, I've been waiting for you. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. 60% of people use hands.
Starting point is 00:17:22 22% of people use arms. So I'm guessing that's your elbow or all the others. 7% use their feet. Yeah. 11% use other. Let's see, I wouldn't... Please tell me someone's got a special stick for this. What about that boop with the booty?
Starting point is 00:17:39 Oh yeah? Booty bump. Jack says the knuckle. Ten years ago I would have picked foot, but I'm 39 now and the old leg doesn't come up that far. As easily. Pull a hip. Yeah, you know, you don't want it to be doing that.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Yeah. Strain something. Feet if no one's around, says Brian. Knee or elbow if they are. Knee. Love a knee. Yeah, right. Oh, yeah, skis-kish.
Starting point is 00:18:02 Yeah. Our phone, says Haley. However, I'm old and wise enough that I can cross the road without pushing it. More people just need to look left and right before stopping traffic. Oh my God, yes. When it's one of those pedestrian-only crossings in the middle of a busy road and just jaywalk. Oh, same. Like don't stop all the car.
Starting point is 00:18:22 All people jaywalk and then the lights go because they already pressed it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Felicity said, I work retail and they handle cash daily. get of crossing light buttons being germy. Yeah, you've got that filth. You've got that filth all over your hands anyway. Kathy said usually the corner of my phone.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Yep. I didn't know so many people were using their phone. That's not. You never wipe it down, do you? No, we do that and then we talk it on it. We rub it against our face. Touched our hands by our mouths. I've actually started at the, because you know,
Starting point is 00:18:53 I'll do quite a few cycle classes and you wipe down the bikes afterwards with the anti-back wipes. So I'll do a little phone wipe. Oh, yeah. An object I'm holding like a water bottle or I'll tuck my hand into my sleeve and use that, says Sarah. Yeah, nice. Who's sort of using the sleeve as a condom sort. Yes. A condom of sorts, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:12 Jesse said, backside of my hand or my knee. Yep, that works. Ew. Preeti says, I make my kid do it with his elbow because that shit's gross. And they're already gross. And then your children in harm's way. Your kid gets sick. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:24 And then you have to take a day off work to look after them. And then you get sick. And make the whole school sick. Yeah. And that's how pandemic start. Joanne said. other, aka I make my husband push it. Yeah, nice.
Starting point is 00:19:34 So we asked for Sylida-Lpole, what are you used to press the pedestrian crossing button. The majority, 6% of you using the hands. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Flesh forun and Haley. Pupes are back. We know this. As a show, we've discussed that pubs are back.
Starting point is 00:19:50 For many years. Over decade. I reckon a couple of decades. Right, because you had yours laser. Lazy off. You're screwed, aren't you? It's patchy. Right.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Patchy at best. Well, they call it permanent laser hair removal, but it's always kind of comes back after a while. So if you don't do the maintenance on it, like I haven't done with like armpits and legs and stuff, it's back enough that I can get back on board with pubs being back in fash. But, okay, there's something called whisker fatigue. And I was like, okay, I think I know what this is. No, no, no, I was wrong. And the moment I found out what whisker fatigue actually is, I was like, we all know this feeling. What did you think it was?
Starting point is 00:20:31 I thought, and maybe it was just sort of where we're bored of it or something, or we want to keep on changing up our style or, you know, I don't know. Whisker fatigue is when your pubes get a little too long and they hurt a bit. Your pubes hurt. Oh, okay. Have you ever had this? What? Oh, don't abandon me now.
Starting point is 00:20:52 What are you talking about? I may have. I may have. I need further explanation. Okay, so when whisker fatigue is when your pubic, he gets a little too. too long. Some people compare it to which you won't know but it's when your ponytail gets a bit sort of tight and a bit
Starting point is 00:21:06 pulling. Oh and does it get caught in your undies? And it gets caught maybe even now and then it will get caught in the weave, the knit of the undie? Well no, I like to trim so I don't I don't experience whiskey. Cubs are back Bush is back. We're talking not not just... Bush being out. And that people are
Starting point is 00:21:22 saying when they're going, we're they letting bush rule sometimes they sort of tug a little bit and they can kind of get caught in the weave of the fabric and sort of have a little bit of a pull to it every now and then. It'll get caught in your clothes or your underwear or kind of snag to the side. And this would be generations experiencing this for the first time. Yeah, for sure, because they've grown up, developed their pubs, been told that we don't do pubs, remove the pubs.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Yep. Or trim the pubs, wax the pubs. I mean, we were going complete publess for a while. Right. And now people are saying the pub fatigue is like, my pub's hurt. I think the closest thing I could liken it to would be when you get out of the shower and they're wet and maybe the towel. Has a pool?
Starting point is 00:22:03 I'm just thinking. I just don't know about this. How long are you leaving your peers? Like even with Bush back, still surely we're having a little sculpt. No. You do the boundary. We're a trimming station.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Right, right up to the neighbor's house. Yeah, you do the bird. Yeah. What they do is none of your business. None of your business. None of your business. But if you're going full bush, full bush is like you leave that thing
Starting point is 00:22:30 be. Someone would say you would experience it more if you had quite coarse curly hair because it can kind of all get caught up a bit more. But I think from years, I don't know if you've experienced this, but from years of removal, mine are quite straight. You know what I've gone? Definitely straighter. This is too much in by.
Starting point is 00:22:50 It's too much. Yeah, I don't know if my head is. You know, like there's supposed to be like mine are quite. So we've got a solution? We've got a solution? Do they offer a solution to the whisker fatigue? So the solution for whisker fatigue is... Is we can keep it low maintenance, right?
Starting point is 00:23:05 Because that's the whole thing of bush being back. But you do want to trim. It's kind of like a beard. You've got to push either lower or longer to get to that perfect little lens. Right. So keep hair trim to a length that avoids discomfort. So a little bit shorter,
Starting point is 00:23:19 but not also the tight, too close shave because then we're getting into like a different kind of friction. Right. So pubs are back, but like in a... Yeah. Whisker fatigue. is real. Orsica fatigue is wheel.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Don't snag your peps today, guys. Play that ends, Flesh, Vaughan and Haley. From the unmoderated comment section, this is the top six. Now, they're described as a young Auckland couple. Now, I read, what did we read the other day?
Starting point is 00:23:47 The oldest Gen Zs are 31 now? Was that what it was? But they were, that hit their 30s, and I was just like, that's insane business. So these are the couple that split $40 million. Between two people, both out of, Auckland. This was the couple that purchased it on the My Lotto app, meaning that
Starting point is 00:24:03 a 20,000 $1 million ticket purchased from the Blockhouse Bay, post shop and stationers is still out there unclaimed. Just get it, sort of... Someone check on their nan. That's some nan that's gone, walk down and got a ticket and forgotten about it. Don't rip her off, though. Don't be like... No.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Take a bit. No, I went and scanned it for you, Nan. She's not a winner. Would you contemplate ripping off your grand? How many cousins you've got? How old is she? If she didn't know that if she didn't, if she'd forgotten that she brought the ticket? Do you have an auntie and uncle that are going to be a real pain in the ass? Where's Nan's lottery ticket? I checked it.
Starting point is 00:24:41 It was a no-go-nothing. It's nothing, Nan. You didn't win. Why your teeth all diamond-encrusted? I don't know. They're fake. It's rhinestones. Why is there a sniper dot right on your chest, Uncle Barry?
Starting point is 00:24:52 Bye. Barry's saying, they got dramatic. It did. We killed Uncle Barry. Yeah, that's crazy, man. We sniped Uncle Barry. Money changed us. Money changed us.
Starting point is 00:25:04 This is, by the way, I've decided if I ever won Lotto, I'm going to remain anonymous, but I'm going to say, I purchased a ticket with my last $20. Oh, so the Lotto have got a good story. Yeah, really high money. And it really riles people up. When somebody spent the last of their benefit,
Starting point is 00:25:21 especially if it's the benefit, last of my benefit, I spent the last of my benefit on that. The kids went out without, but now we're sorted. I was driving, I was driving to. I was driving to. formally declare bankruptcy. I was in the car and I thought, I'll just get a ticket. They only purchased lot of tickets when the jackpot is above $30 million.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Oh, I hate hearing that. Good on them. They were going to bed on Saturday night when just before Betty's art, I might check the Lotto app, checked it, realized the 40 million prize had been split between two winners and then it said to him, you are one of them. Wow. They got out of bed.
Starting point is 00:25:53 I just got a little chill like it was me. Got out of bed and started pacing back and forward and then had to explain to us. You wouldn't sleep. You wouldn't sleep, would you? Nah. Hey, babe, wake up. Leave me alone. I'm watching reels.
Starting point is 00:26:05 Okay. Okay, yeah, okay. Yeah, you watch your reels. By the way, we're breaking up. We're done. We're done. Top six purchases for the Gen Z Lotto winners. Number six on the list, maybe a Labubu or Tutu.
Starting point is 00:26:16 You could get 3-3 or 4-4. You could buy a Labubu's shop. I'd buy a Poplar. A lot, probably. Costume and become a Labibu. You could buy a real-life Labibu from the islands of Labibu. Yeah. Where they're from?
Starting point is 00:26:29 Get a proper one. Yeah. Cage it. Oh, lovely. Yeah, lovely. La bobo. La bobo. Mommy wants a nagroney.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Number five on the list of the top six purchases with the Gen Z lotto winners. Going back in the Uber app and actually tipping the drivers for all that. You know the ones where they're like, do you want to give them a tip? Yeah. I know all the money goes to Uber, but it's all right. To the driver and not Uber. Yeah. I've just got to the bar and shots are really expensive.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Yeah. Number four on the list of the top six purchases for Gen Z loto winners. are matcha with boba and vape juice or whatever it is they're drinking now yeah the matcha vape with the boba when you suck in it goes yeah the boba comes out
Starting point is 00:27:08 yeah yeah they're just going to buy a vape shop aren't they they'll buy a matcher chain hell of an investment of the vape shops flooded market I don't think there's enough of them I always whenever there's a shop and it's empty I'm like there's a high chance
Starting point is 00:27:22 that's going to be a vape shop next time you go past it's the most overlit by the way can we just talk about the vape shops They're the most overlit shops in the world Heard of a warm light. Yeah. Why is all of your light so white and bright? Calm down.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Actually calm down. Number three on the list of the top six new purchases are for Gen Z Lotto winners. A new Octobuddy in a ring light. What's an Octobuddy? Camera. An octobuddy goes on the back of your phone so they can stick into a mirror.
Starting point is 00:27:51 I hate those. Yuck. Nightmare getting your phone in and out of your pocket with an Octobody. Yeah, no. Can I say you're quite removed from Gen Z age-wise. I think you're thinking quite small. They're just
Starting point is 00:28:01 little purchases. No, the little ones. This couple also said that one of their first moves was going to be just seek financial advice. Yes, yeah, great. That's so great. That's good. That's clever. We'll seek it from your friends, Fletch for and Haley. Let's start by a cocktail lunch. Guys, let's go down to the viaduct.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Yeah. Get a couple he does, dozen oysters. And we're sad. My only cure for sadness is to take us on an international We give away all our joy in the morning to everyone else. That's right. We're constantly filling buckets, leaving our own buckets. Deplete it. They're not giving you anything.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Please. Number two in the list of the top six purchases for Gen Z, our lot of winners, social media verification ticks. Oh, they're expensive. I always want one, but yeah, who's part of them? How much did they cost? Well, I actually got a real one. You got a free one.
Starting point is 00:28:50 When they decipher I'm verified. Did TikTok Tim sort you out with your tick? I have an email, am I? Because that means I've got to upload videos. Oh. Hard. I did love me who told TikTok, Tim, who came in the other day with Brett Olson.
Starting point is 00:29:02 You were like, I don't really like it. To the guy who's the head of... He's like, I don't like it. We'll get you going on TikTok. We'll get you verified. We'll get your account going. It's like, oh, I'll walk you through this. And you're like, nah.
Starting point is 00:29:12 I want to be famous. Nah. She wants to be famous and go viral on TikTok, but doesn't want to help. If people want to find my videos, they'll find them. Oh, right. She's a true artist. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:23 You want something, but you're not willing to work for it. Who are you? Me? I believe that's, I believe that's seemed up quite nicely. Who are you? Me? Yeah, what is this? Vaughn's-Smith?
Starting point is 00:29:32 Number one in the list of the TopSux purchases with the Gen Z Lotto and is therapy. They want it. They need it. They can't afford it. Well, now. They can. They can.
Starting point is 00:29:42 But they're so rich, they can tell the therapist what to tell them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Not the problem. Nothing to change. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Perfection. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:51 It was all them, none new. Exactly. That's how therapy is best taken on board. That's the top six. Play. Play ZN. Fletch, one and Haley. We're not even here yet,
Starting point is 00:30:04 and I reckon Carwin, Shannon and I are about to cry. Why? I didn't know this was tear-inducing. Like, I didn't... It is one of my gravest... Why is this crying? Why are you crying about something
Starting point is 00:30:19 that happened 114 years ago? Because some people died. So many people died. Really? And then they brought it back to life in one of the best movies of all time, which you just refuse to watch. The Titanic.
Starting point is 00:30:31 The Titanic. Now, you may have heard Bryn say this in the news yesterday. So Titanic, the human story, is coming to Auckland. Next month, it's coming in August to the Old Smith & Coe's building. And it is... That's great to see that building getting used
Starting point is 00:30:51 because it's a beautiful. I know when they shut down, didn't it? It was a department store for years. Yeah. So they say... Heartbreaking for us, Smiths. Oh my God. Your generational wealth was depleted.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Yes. Immediately. It wasn't part of the Smith generational wealth of the department store, no. Yeah, well, luckily we've still got our glass business. Both of us. Yeah, thank God. Smith and Smith replace. I want you guys to know, not only do we repair, we replace.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Well, I've got Fletcher construction and that's doing great. I want to know how Uncle Dick is. Dick Smith. Yeah. Well... Oh, good. Not great. Not great.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Not great, actually. I've got terrible news about Uncle Dick. So Titanic, the human story, is this huge kind of experience. It says step into an emotional journey through the Titanic's true story. So it's not, you know, bloody Leonardo and Kate. This is the real story of the Titanic. And you go through, there's photos, there's all sorts of experiences. Do they have bits, anything from the actual Titanic?
Starting point is 00:31:50 Do they? Like, last jackets. And, like, they've set up areas. Yeah, only there's stuff that floated. Yeah. then they went and got the bottom stuff. That was good from you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:02 A couple of plastic forks. No, they went bamboo. Oh, God, the feeling of that on your tongue. I'm always scared I'm going to get a splinter. Imagine that. You're like, oh my God, I've got a splinter from the fork. This trip on this boat couldn't get anywhere. So there's life-size recreations of the ship's interiors
Starting point is 00:32:23 from first-class luxury rooms to third-class simplicity. So excited for it. How much is this? This sounds like a whole thing. It's a whole thing. Well, the Smith & Coe building's quite thick. It's massive. So I was in Australia and this has been touring around Australia for a bit and it was sold out every single day I was there.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Like on the website. And I'm on the website. This opens, well it docks in Auckland, good for me. Auglist? August. August. August. August is 28th. Quarter of month. So it's Auckland and in August. It's August. It's August.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Yeah. 28th. And in five days, we can join a wait list. Don't worry. We're on it and we've got a countdown in our calendar for this. So, 200 original objects from the Titanic and included audio guide that narrates you through the journey. Travel back in time, separate fat from fiction. They're like, sorry James Cameron, but... That didn't happen. Yeah, there was no steamy sex in the back of the car with... I bet there was. I bet there was. You would. Wouldn't know. That many people, I bet there was. Especially if it happens on the inter-Irelander. It happens on Titanic. Oh, good one. Those truck drivers on the Inter-Ireland, they just
Starting point is 00:33:26 can't be stopped. People say it's incredible. It's moving, highly recommend. Like, it's been all around. It looks amazing. If you are interested in the Titanic, one of the greatest documentaries on YouTube, a chef recreates the entire menus for the different classes
Starting point is 00:33:40 and does history as he talks you through it. I mean, shotgun, the top class. Incredible to watch. Well, yeah. What did they eat down below? Lots of jelly. Jelly was huge in the 1910s. I love jelly.
Starting point is 00:33:53 But like savory jelly too. I was going to say, I think she's talking about savory. Like jelly meat, like human versions of jelly meat. Like they put peas in it. Yeah. Yeah. And then dessert jelly too. But yeah, this chef makes all the meals.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Highly recommend. I'm going to go on the wait list because this looks great. It's going to sell fast, I reckon. Yeah. All the girlies are into this. You can really have a day in Auckland. Are all the artifacts from the tonne?
Starting point is 00:34:17 Are they on like strings and stuff? They're a bit like people would steal. I feel like people would steal bits. Oh, glass case. Oh, okay. Right, right. Yeah, it's going to say. How much is it?
Starting point is 00:34:28 From $40. Wouldn't be trusting anyone in downtown Auckland. I've seen those people hanging around there. It's the cesspool of our country. And also a vibrant metropolis. I might set up outside with a chili burn with ice and be like, come and get a piece of the iceberg. Official iceberg.
Starting point is 00:34:45 The iceberg. Official iceberg. Yeah. Come a shit in an iceberg. Come and a piece of iceberg. My great, great grandfather. Holy yes. Can you please?
Starting point is 00:34:55 Got the iceberg. Take it away, but wrap it up in like gift wrapping paper. There you go. Yeah. Best of two of that. Put in a zip plastic bag. Well, 28th of August, it is all kicking off, but you can join a wait list to buy tickets in five days' time.
Starting point is 00:35:11 The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Flash forne and Haley. I'm off to Hamilton tonight. I'm doing two shows. 63830. You can't wait. And when I get ready to get on stage, I sit back, stage. I've got some music on and paint my face, you know, get my makeup on.
Starting point is 00:35:32 And a huge part of there is eyeshadow as my mother wore and her mother before her. And now Gen Z apparently are saying it's an old lady thing. Quote, old lady thing. Not only unfashionable, not cringe, old lady thing. Old lady thing. Eyes shadow. I don't wear it during the wig because I don't wear anything during the wig. because I'm tired.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Yep. But when I go out, ice shadow is like my favourite bit. Old ladies wore purple eye shadow. Yeah, I loved it purple. We loved a blue for a number of years. Yes, yes, yes. Then we moved to a brown.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Yeah. And then we did a smoky grey. Okay. Now, when I go on stage, obviously I go a bit heavier because it's performance and people are far away, but I'm like,
Starting point is 00:36:17 I go all in with the eye shadow and there's glitters in there and there's little smoky bits everywhere. Is there exception for stage performers? I don't know. They didn't say that. I don't know if they've said that old lady performers on stage. Gen Z only deal in absolutes.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah, they do. Right, okay. So this has been shared on TikTok and everyone agrees. Yeah. So are you going to stop now when you go out? God no. Just embrace old lady. Embrace old lady.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Women in their 30s, they say. So this is apparently the bracket for old lady. Yep. Or didn't someone on a dating? My thirties? Didn't someone on a dating app say they quite like an older lady? I like older women. And I said calm down. I'm 36. Well, I knew someone who's in their early 30s and 19-year-old dudes on dating apps were taking their shot.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Oh, it's so much. It was very much for the younger man to bed. A woman in her 30s was sort of sacred. I decrepit ladies such as myself. Old, creaky joint. You know, you love an old creaky joint girl. So apparently, very popular with the 22-year-old saying nobody's doing that anymore. It's like, it's real cringe.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Okay. She said, we haven't been doing eye shadow like that since 2021. It's unfashionable. We don't touch palettes like that. It's all the sort of like skinimalist. Like we're just focusing on nice, glowy skin, but a mascara, fluffy brown. Yeah, but you can do that in your 20s, can you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Because you're not hiding anything. Yeah. You are going to be lathering that shit up to distract from anything and everything soon. The ZM Podcast Network, play ZN's Flash forne and Haley. When a prank went badly. Maybe you were the prank her and something did not go well. Yeah, it just went too far. Went too far.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Maybe it was poorly received. Maybe you were pranked and you fell for it and it actually was really bad. Because sometimes people don't read the room or they don't, they just go too far. Or not everyone's open to receiving a prank. Or it could be just mean. And that's the thing. You don't want a prank to come across as punching down. No.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Because then you'd look like a bully. You've got to prank someone who's like robust. Yeah, I'm going to save a prank. So Charlie Hull, she is a three-time LPGA winning golfer. By the way, just on the subject of golf, I started watching The Hawk. It's good, eh? The Wilfairil golf show. So you think, is this going to be a bit thin?
Starting point is 00:38:46 It's so funny. It's actually really good. It's really funny. It's an easy watch too. To Neneflicts. Nettie Flick. So Charlie Howell, she's a professional golfer, a very successful golfer, was doing a press conference after a game and was laughing. She was like, oh my God, we actually did this thing.
Starting point is 00:39:05 And talked about, she went to a, you know, like a joke shop or whatever in the UK and got a prank 100,000 pound, so 200 grand winning scratchy and gave it to her catty Adam. and she was filming, said, oh, you know, have a scratch you or something like that. He scratches it. He takes his head off. He takes his glasses off. He runs around and it's just like, oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:39:33 I've just won 100,000 pounds. I've just, oh my God, my God, this is like incredible. His face looks happy. She's telling him he's like, he's sweating. He was trembling. He could have believed. He told him was fake and he nearly quit. And everyone was like, not really laughing, as she was saying that?
Starting point is 00:39:46 Why aren't you guys laughing? Yeah, that's. Because I feel like maybe pranking me with like you've won 50 bucks. and I'll be like, hell yeah. See, that was fake. That would be funny, or if it was him pranking her because she's a millionaire golf player and she doesn't need 100,000.
Starting point is 00:40:01 You know what I mean? Not funny when you do it to her candy. Not funny when you do it to someone that's like under you and you're not paying much either. Yeah, and then everyone was like, it's so bad that she did this and then like told everyone about doing it. And everyone's like, it's not funny.
Starting point is 00:40:16 It's really bad. And if you were that person that felt like you won $200,000 and then suddenly you hadn't. You feel like you've lost $200,000 that was never yours. Yeah. Anyway, and I think it's gone quite wrong because I don't know how the caddy feels about it, but everyone online is just like, this is poor behaviour. This is like not good.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Yeah. But let's talk pranks. Maybe you pranked someone and it didn't go very well or someone pranked you. Yes. And it was ill-received. Okay, 0800. Diles at Em is our number. You can text through 9-6-96.
Starting point is 00:40:45 When did a prank not go well? Emma, when did a prank go too far? Yeah, morning guys, how you going? Good things. You're really top-notch. Good. Yeah, years ago, like 20 years ago, me and my mates were leaving a pub. And back then, they used to sell, like, fart bombs and little glass ampules. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Yeah, and we had one in a pocket, and our mates live next to the pub. And so we thought it would be funny to throw the fart ampule in one of their windows. And so we did that. And then next thing, we went and sat in the park nearby and were watching. and next thing the fire department turned up, fire truck. And obviously they'd thought it was, they felt sulfur and thought it was an electrical fault. We thought by then it was just, we were in too deep,
Starting point is 00:41:31 we thought it was hilarious. And then the next thing they were, like, getting put into their car with their suitcases, they'd got their little kids up, and they were told to move out for days until the whole house is an electrical. Oh, my God. In my mind, when you were doing this prank, you were teenagers doing it,
Starting point is 00:41:48 to have the teenagers or like a flat. You weren't doing it to people with children. Yeah, that's so funny. Well, we thought it would be funny ads. And they were our friends, and still to this day, so 20 years later, they still don't know it was ours.
Starting point is 00:41:59 And they were out of that house for like two or three days. Oh, my God. You didn't tell them? No, they still don't know. Oh, my God. I think that's unforgivable. You're too deep.
Starting point is 00:42:11 You're too deep. You're too deep. We're too deep. Yeah, and they were that little bit older than us, and we were just scared. Oh my God, no, never say, die on this. Yeah. He's only like three of us that know.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Okay, well, now the nation as well. Yeah, now the thousands. But yeah, it's good. Emma, that's incredible. Thank you. Keep your text coming in, 9-696. We're to those next. When did the prank go wrong?
Starting point is 00:42:33 Every year, the boys and I buy up some fireworks and they have a wizard war. Okay. A wizard war. That's where you, the Roman candles. Also, the government this week decided they're not going to ban fireworks. Yeah. I thought they were. I thought we were losing fireworks.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Seemed the sensible move, didn't that? I don't know. I don't know the argument for. We're not going to ban fireworks. Oh, so we're going to fully fund the fens then and give the firefighters what they need. No, not that either. Not that either. Warden's changed.
Starting point is 00:43:02 She used to be real pro fireworks. Yeah, he was. Dude, I used to love fireworks. And it's the exact reason why now I look and I think, that's why they need to be banned. They got to go. Yeah. Anyway, we were having a wizard walk. One cheeky bastard bought an absolutely massive one.
Starting point is 00:43:16 so he didn't go for the rule is roaming candles only he lit it and he was holding it with two hands and we were like oh shit now it shot and a mate put up his hands it ricocheted off the guy he shot it at and back at the guy who shot it and it hit him and it was one of those ones that whistles
Starting point is 00:43:34 yep then goes silent momentarily and then it explodes and all you could hear him would say was and then at the boom and the light show when it finally stopped he wasn't too badly burnt but he had both shat his pants and piss his pants oh piss we can kind of put past you're all involved in that
Starting point is 00:43:55 prank you knew what was happening here he pulled a prank and it absolutely backfired on him yeah um I love this prank my boss that I was quitting and he sent out a company-wide email before I could tell him it was a joke I was working I quit Haley's leaving I was working at a hospital in the UK the hospital porters played a prank on one of their colleagues by pretending to be a dead patient when they clicked of the corpse, it suddenly came to life in the lift, scaring the unsuspecting porter, and it actually resulted in him suffering PTSD because he had some stuff he hadn't dealt with that he'd previously
Starting point is 00:44:26 witnessed. And all the other porters got sacked. Wow. Okay. My husband did this almost the same prank. His mother, when he was a kid, his mother asked him to write down the lotto numbers. Instead, he just wrote down randomly numbers that he... On her ticket. That was on her ticket. Watch to go quiet, wander around the house for a bit. That's so... She was a financially struggling solo mom.
Starting point is 00:44:53 No! No, no, no! Like, that's so bad. He watched her... This is exactly word for word. He watched her seeing the light at the end of a tunnel. Then he cracked up and he told her what her'd done. He still feels bad about it 30 years later. I bet you would. I bet you would.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Seeing her go, it's all going to be okay. And you're like, nah jokes. still hard. My cousin did that empty mug prank where you pretend to like trip and throw a hot cup or in somebody's face, but it's empty. She did it to her mom.
Starting point is 00:45:25 But her mom just light and quick smack the cup and just bashed it straight into somebody else's face and they got a black eye. Prank didn't go well. Prank called our friend, I haven't read this. Some of a vibe an art.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Prank called our friend Justin's mean girlfriend from the old landline. phone with scary calls. After many calls, she took the phone off the hook. We called 1-1-1 and said an old lady may have fallen over and knocked the phone. And could they make the
Starting point is 00:45:55 high-pitched noise to put the phone back on the receiver? Could you do that? That's not a thing. Next minute they sent an ambulance and police car to her house. We were in big trouble with the police for wasting emergency services time. Yeah. Wow. That's little shit.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Good God. As a child, I liked sneaking a shortcut through the local bowling club. Then one morning there was a big snow. I thought, wow, I could jump over the wall and run all around the green on fresh snow. So I stood on the wall, jumped. All of a sudden, I'm in hell.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Turns out the windows were going to be changing the clubhouse had already been changed. I jumped straight through a whole pile of glass. Lucky I was in Wellie boots, so I'd just cracked and crunched my way back and ran home, never told anyone ever. Jeez. That was lucky.
Starting point is 00:46:39 It could be really kiffle out there. No pranking me either. I'm sensitive. Shark week Don't prank me for another two weeks The ZM Podcast Network Play ZM's Fleshhorn and Haley I want to talk about something I witnessed
Starting point is 00:46:58 My teenage daughter doing That I was just I was actually in awe Oh really? I was in awe She said to me she said these all she's were collecting I was taking this quite seriously This is the Woolworth's
Starting point is 00:47:09 The Woolworth's Yeah, filletable A little rubbery Another bloody thing that pops up on the screen at the self-serve. If it's not donating to a charity, it's still I want some OSHAs, no. O'SHie, do you want somebody else to choke a turtle?
Starting point is 00:47:21 Someone asked me, no, I think it was the warehouse the other day asked me to round up to the nearest dollar for a donation to charity. I always do that. It was seven cents. I feel like after all the fees, the charity actually paid for that one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:33 I would have happily rounded it up to the next five dollars. At another, yeah. Yeah. But anyway, that's by the buy. The Ushis are starting to pile up because we've got some people collecting the Ushis as well. How many are there to collect? That's a good question.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Carl, in 40. 40 or she's, I think. I think there's 40 different ushies. All right. We've got lots of tell us. I don't know how many else has got 12,000 bloody lily pads are in Toy Story 5. Oh my God, why are there so many lily pads? It's giving big leapfrog money.
Starting point is 00:48:01 It's giving big just trying to shove a new character down our throat. Oh, yeah, true. It's actually making me resent lily pad, even more because they are the villain. But do you know how many there are to collect? 40, 40. And every one of them comes with a glow in the dark variant. Okay. But some are gold.
Starting point is 00:48:17 Some are colour and there's some rare ones and stuff. And then they said to me, what are we doing with all these double-ups? I was like, I don't know. So they're into it. The girls are into it. Kind of, well, she was kind of into it. And then she said, can I trade them? And I was like, yeah, knock yourself out. Trade them.
Starting point is 00:48:30 She's like, I'm actually collecting old cabbage and lettuce leaves at Pack and Save in my trolley. God, people always leave those behind. Yeah, yeah, that's what I get at Pack and Save. Oh, I'll trade you. Okay. Because I got a... I've got a wet receipt. Have you got a wet receipt yet?
Starting point is 00:48:44 Not yet. I've got some coli-fow leaves. Right. Oh, okay. I've also got the very rare sanitation wipe. Oh. Dropped by a child into the thing after the mother used it to wipe their hands. I'm hoping for the really rare nana's handbag that she left in the troll.
Starting point is 00:49:05 There's only three of those. Yes. It won't be me. It's never me. Do a trade. So she said, can I trade this? I was like, yeah, knock yourself out. And it was like she just switched, she just locked in.
Starting point is 00:49:18 I think they call it dialed in, locked in. Yeah. She's like, all right, takes out her phone things. Hey guys, I'm going to start trading these or she's, what have you got? Wait, where is she trading these? On the black market. She sends it to her Snapchat stories. Yeah, they've got one of those modems connects to the dark web.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Yeah. And then her phone lights up. Then she's getting calls. It was like being on the bloody floor of Wall Street. Really? Really? The stock exchange, she's like, yep, yep, yeah, I've got two of those, yep, yeah, you can have one. Nah, nah.
Starting point is 00:49:44 What are you giving me? Are you getting money or just trading? Trading, or she's like, no, I'll give you one, but I need two of those from you. Yeah, I know my worst. And then she becomes the middleman. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's like, she's writing down who's got what. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:57 And then she's got somebody else on the phone being like, yeah, I can actually get a hold of two of those. I'll give one to you, but I'll give it by Monday. The other one's spoken for you. I'll get my Monday. I can give you two today, but I'll get a third on Monday. That was what it evolved into it, became like she was a bookie. Like I expected they had one of those green, transparent peaks on and her glasses down like this, and she's, d-l-l-l-l-l-l-ching, ching, ching, ching-chin.
Starting point is 00:50:20 It was crazy. And I was like, when she kind of like, I think she literally said, I'm going to take a break. Did she get what she wanted? And she came out and got a drink. And I was like, where did you learn to do that? Like, what are you? You're hustling in there? And she's like, oh, it's Roblox, because she plays this game where she does the pets and everything and knows their value.
Starting point is 00:50:37 And I was like, how do you know the value of the issue? you she's like you can find how rare they are the market tells you the market maybe i need to start getting these and then um telling you what i've got and you can tell her oh no she'll just cut me out why is she'll just go straight to the source god i want money i don't think you can get money you can only get all she's what's the value she said to me we're going to need another one of these because we've got the collector's box where you display them all she's like we're going to need another one of these because i'm doing an exclusive glow on the dark one i was like how you doing that she's like i've already i'm already halfway there trader it was that's how they get you count down's not even
Starting point is 00:51:08 your primary supermarket? No. So, man. She's, she's hustling. I tell you what, I was pretty impressed. I was pretty bloody impressed. I think there's a skill that will serve her well in life, you know? Hustling. Hustling, getting out there, being business savvy, knowing thy worth. Yeah. I was worried
Starting point is 00:51:27 because I was thinking Wolf of Wall Street and that and then... You don't want to tossing the small people and doing drugs. The quailudes and stuff. Yeah, yeah. The quailudes and the prostitutes. That was a great movie. That was a pretty farler. The greatest movie ever. It actually triggered a need for a rewatch of the Wolf of Wall Street. But anyway, I just, if all of a sudden all yours are disappearing,
Starting point is 00:51:47 I'm not saying she's responsible, but I'm saying there's a high chance she's trading them. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's FlashForn and Haley. Paul Nellon Smith, you told me the other day about an attachment style. You've been learning about that. Yeah. What did you say it was? Anxious Attached.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Anxious attachment style. That's what you are. Mammas. Sorry, I didn't mean to say that about Christine. Attachment styles. I haven't looked into attachment styles at all because nobody can tell me what I am and am not. I am me.
Starting point is 00:52:19 You don't want to be labelled. What's my attachment style? D. Oh, disassociated. Yeah, good. Wait a minute. Removed. Secure attachments.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Secure removed. Secure. They're secure, anxious, avoidant slash dismissive. Yes, you. Me. Avoidant and fearful. So those are the only ones. Yeah, avoid and fearful of one.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Avoid and dismissive. Downplay's importance of relationships. It's extremely self-reliant. Can become more vulnerable when there's a big crisis. Oh. Secure means you can trust fairly easily as a turn to emotions, can communicate upsets directly and leads with cooperative and flexible behavior and relationships. He communicates his upsets directly.
Starting point is 00:53:00 He goes, what the hell? Who did this? And we're like, he's frustrated. That's quite direct, isn't I? It's very direct. You're in no doubt. that I have an issue there. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:53:10 So there is a term orbiting that is attached to like an old-fashioned attachment pattern. So I'm getting into these attachment styles. Orbiting is when someone actively stops pursuing or communicating with you. Say someone that you're dating or seeing or a boyfriend or an ex or something like that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:28 This does apply to exes and current relationships. Stop pursuing or communicating with you, but they linger. They orbit you digitally. They're like, hey, like... Digital. orbit you. Comment like.
Starting point is 00:53:39 So always seeing your posts, always liking. You see that they've seen your story? Yeah. They might chuck a heart every now and then you're like, what are you doing, man? You had your charm. Yeah, but maybe they're just being friendly.
Starting point is 00:53:52 Can it not be amicable? Why people do it? Curiosity, nostalgia, guilt, not being fully over it. Difficulty communicating, unlike our fletch here, what they want, or keeping someone as a backup option, being like,
Starting point is 00:54:05 I won't fully let you go. I feel like that's just modern dating, though. Maybe you haven't been with some of it. You've hooked up a few times. You just digitally orbit them. Definitely. Maybe it happens again one day. I've definitely had people that I hooked up with over the last year
Starting point is 00:54:19 that you'd be like, oh, that's not going to go any further or, you know, whatever. And then digitally, they're just always every now and then like, huh. You know, like, they'll just come into something and be like, damn. And you're like, what do you want? Well, you like that, though. Love. But I'm not everywhere. She loves attention.
Starting point is 00:54:40 Oh my gosh, she loves to stop her. When they're like, I'm like, I know. You stuffed up. Why it messes with your head can sometimes create for people an ambiguous loss. Because you're like, be gone. Be gone if you're going to be gone.
Starting point is 00:54:54 If you didn't want to commit to me or do the hard yards of me, fine. But be gone. Don't just like my stuff. It's a little bit like that dating term, the submarining, where they just pop up. Yep. On the radar.
Starting point is 00:55:07 And they just pop your little like or they're, you know, they're there. Yeah. Hey. And then they just submerged. In town, in town Friday. And you're like, yeah, but not with you. The ZDM Podcast Network. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Do do. Do do do to do. To do do do to do. Do. Today, and the final fact for Salt Week, is things that you probably didn't know, salt, but it's salt. Because technically,
Starting point is 00:55:47 a salt is a compound made of a positive ion and a negative ion, held together by ionic bonds. I tuned out. Formed with an acid... Technically... Technically... When an acid and a base neutralize each other.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Like a vagina. Like a vagina. Is a vagina? A vagina is salt. Because vagina takes the acid in the neutral and it meets... In the middle. In the middle. If all going well.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Everything goes well. Salt. These things are salts. I really made that sound appealing. Sulting vagina. Mm. Sorry. Yeah, carry on.
Starting point is 00:56:23 More of a... What are you? More of a sweet man than a savoury. Yeah, yeah, look. He'll go sweet. Have a savoury. Yeah. Baking soda is technically a salt.
Starting point is 00:56:30 Same family as table salt. Just a different part rye on. Epsom salts. I mean, we all know. It's in the name. I knew that one. I actually knew that. But it's technically known as magnesium sulfate.
Starting point is 00:56:40 Okay. So it's a salt. Good for a bath. MSG. Yum. Remember when everyone was like, don't use MSG? My salty goodness. And it was all racism.
Starting point is 00:56:48 Yeah, it was real anti in the 80s and 90s, wasn't it? It's actually not bad for you, is it? No. I've got a bag of MSG. You just put it in little things every now and then. And you only need a small amount. You know what everybody's doing now, what everyone's on board with now, the yeast flakes. Oh, the nutritional yeast flakes.
Starting point is 00:57:05 No one was ever anti the yeast flakes. No, they weren't. But everybody's just sprinkling them on everything. You go cheese over yeast flakes. Oh, you put the yeast flakes. Yeah, I know vegans that do the yeast flakes. Yeah, yeah. As well as cheese, though.
Starting point is 00:57:18 We're not going without cheese. Yeah, of course. You never substitute cheese for anything. I'm sorry. Yeah, yeast flakes and cheese. Don't barely compare. Chalk and limestone are technically a salt. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:57:29 Yeah. Potassium nitrate is also known as salt Peter. That's a salt. Right. I punch in the face as a salt. That's assault. That's a salt. Yep.
Starting point is 00:57:38 Fertilizer. Throwing a brick at someone, that's a salt. Fertilizer. That's a salt. You know, there's a little... Well, fertilizer is... Well, you know, it's instability is what leads to go caballemi sometimes.
Starting point is 00:57:52 Do you remember I watched that video the other day? Remember when that fertilizer storage thing went off of that port? Oh my God, yes. Is it in Baylor? Yes. Jesus. Like, you've forgotten how big that. Trust me, you've forgotten how big that explosion was.
Starting point is 00:58:03 Yeah, that was incredible to witness, wasn't it? Those hand warmer packets. Yes. Love. A salt. They use sodium acetate, a salt made by neutralising acidic acid. I'll tell you what I've got.
Starting point is 00:58:16 I'm anti those hand warmer things because I had some pillowcases ruined by those. Did you? Did you? They got left in the pocket. And they basically burnt. Yeah, they burnt the pillowcase. It's technically the same reaction as baking soda and vinegar, but instead of like the fizz and the pop off,
Starting point is 00:58:32 it does its heat. It does heat instead. Cheapest. So when you crack it, it's mixing it. Yeah, they're amazing. They're a magic. They're pretty good. So today's fact of the day is a whole lot of stuff.
Starting point is 00:58:43 I enjoyed Salt Week. Yeah, good week for you. Good week. It's actually salt. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day. Do do do do do do do do do do do. Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do. Play Z.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Flesh Forne and Haley. We invite you, Haley Sproul, back to Queen Margaret College for our reunion. High school, okay, we want to talk high school reunions right now because I've got zero interest and have never had any interest. Same. This is why I want to hear from our listeners like, what happened? Did something good happen? Drama.
Starting point is 00:59:27 Drama happened. Did you reignite a love? Did the really hot person get real ugly? Yeah, did the bully, like, embassions? embarrass themselves. Were there some incredible glow-ups? Or was it a beautiful moment? Like, what happened at the school reunion?
Starting point is 00:59:40 Because this is my first time being invited to one. It starts with the chaplain's assembly. We'll say a little prayer, as the Presbyterians are wont to do. See you a little refer. We'll have a lunch. We'll have a college tour. We'll reconnect. This is like an official school.
Starting point is 00:59:54 My one was just organized by us. Lads, lads. Oh, right. But you went to it, didn't you? Yeah. The 20-year one, which is impossible because I myself for money. So I'm 20-year. Next year, 2007.
Starting point is 01:00:07 Well, 2007 was the year I left. I had a friend the other day saying they got invited to a 10-year one. I was like, 10 years, no. No. And then, darling, we're having cocktails at 4 o'clock. Who darling? Who darling? But you're not going to go to this thing?
Starting point is 01:00:22 No. No. Is it money? Well, you've got to fly down there. I've got to fly down to Wellington. It's a private school, of course. And they're putting on cocktails. Of course, it's going to be a fortune.
Starting point is 01:00:32 Anyone's going to go with you because you can be like, I've done really well. I'm actually, I'm actually going to successful. And then Victoria's Secret Model turns up. I was going to say, what if the Victoria's Secret model turns up? Yeah. I mean, we've got lawyers, a hoi and all sorts, and everyone's going to have kids. I feel like the people that have stayed connected to from high school
Starting point is 01:00:50 are the people I was supposed to stay connected to. And the rest, you know, best of luck to you. I've probably forgotten your name. Is it, do you think it's controversial to say high school reunions are for people that peaked at high school? The sass on this one. Well, listen, maybe it was the best. time ever and you were like this as well maybe you ended up having the most ruckus night reliving old memories i'm like tell me the good the bad the ugly from your reunion was there
Starting point is 01:01:14 drama was there anyone there that was lying about how well they did who gay now who gay now the drama the whatever it was oh 800 dials at em is our number text through nine six nine six tell us your good yarns from your high school reunion katherine said it was like lord of the bloody flies everyone went back into their little clicks and there was a First fight at dinner. What? It was hilarious. By the way, I went to New Plymouth Girls.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Kilda. That does, as someone who went to New Plymouth Boys, that does not surprise me. Kilda. Was she pretty rough? Oh yeah, yeah. More fights at the girls school. Really?
Starting point is 01:01:49 Old MPGS. Yeah. Oh, la la. Got invited to a 20-year reunion. Other than my good friends, I couldn't remember anybody that I went to school with, so I asked for picks the class from the yearbook and the group. Turned out that someone lives up the street
Starting point is 01:02:04 from me and offered to drop her yearbooks in my letterbox the next day. She knew me and where I'd lived. I couldn't even remember her. Yeah. That's a thing. Reunion couldn't remember anybody there either. School's like, you know, a big thing for some people, but other people it's like just a blip, isn't it?
Starting point is 01:02:19 And he used to let go of a lot of it. Yeah. You take what you need and the people you need and then you're like, hello? Yeah. I want to say Julian. Oh. Went to school reunion feeling pretty confident. I was head boy, first 15, basketball hero, even the most beautiful head of hair.
Starting point is 01:02:37 Oh, wow. Yeah, okay. So many stories, let's just say on the second night, I changed my name tag to Corey's brother, because hardly anybody knew who I was, but they remembered my brother. Oh, you're a head boy. And no one remembered. I'm Corey's brother. Peaked in high school.
Starting point is 01:02:54 Recently went to a private school reunion after a couple of decades. Can confirm it's mostly the girls who peaked in high school and real estate agents looking for clients. We might find some listings if we go to this. Yes, please. Some buyers and some sellers, perhaps. We have another fist fight. Yep. The high school bully and the PE teacher got into a fist fight at the reunion.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Also, the girl that would never talk to me came out to me and said, why didn't we get together when she realized that her path had not gone as well as maybe it could have? What do we not to get together? You're so mean to me. Do you think there would be a lot of, like, trauma and, like, hard feelings over the years. that have been simmering away that come to a head at these things. You've never realized we're even there, maybe, and you see them and you go, oh my God, I hate you.
Starting point is 01:03:38 You ruined my life. Also, the girl who was the complete wallflower at school came back to the reunion, absolutely stunning, and the manager of a major league football team. What? Sucker. You? That's where I'd go. If I had been an ugly darkling at high school, I wasn't. I was incredibly attractive for having the day it's born.
Starting point is 01:03:56 I would have come out and then just been like, look at me now. Yeah. 100%. Okay, keep your text coming in. I've been invited to my first high school reunion. We want to hear about yours. How did it go?
Starting point is 01:04:08 Someone said I rekindled with an old flame at our reunion. Okay. Ended up doing a year of long distance and have now separated from our husbands and wives and moved in together. Oh. Okay, that's a scandal. Wow. And so do you think they hooked up at like high school or something?
Starting point is 01:04:24 And then we're like, holy shit, we shouldn't have done that. Yep. Oh my gosh. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait. Let your husband, leave your wife. Wait. way are we doing this we're doing it wow love this um had my high school reunion recently i went to school
Starting point is 01:04:38 with a girl called alicia and she used to talk about how she wanted to be a mother and plan to get pregnant with twins when she left school that's how to work that's how works all she ever wanted to do on and on and on about it well she turned up or should i say he turned up oh wow transitioned was now going by alex asked if he had any kids he denounced children all together they're very loud there's we so many of them on our holiday weren't they loud there's not just a double Realisation. I want to be, my love kids,
Starting point is 01:05:04 I want twins to, I actually want to be, I am a man. I am a man and I don't want any kids ever, no thank you, sir. I went to my 20th in high school reunion in March and it was like no time had passed for me
Starting point is 01:05:16 and my mother had to come and collect me from the pub at 3am and I don't remember the later part of the night. And it is similar. Yeah, very similar to the old days. There was a group chat created for RSVPs and the organiser removed three people
Starting point is 01:05:28 on the night because there was drama between them. Oh, it's so. It is that thing. It's like maybe when you return to that familiar environment, it's like sometimes siblings at Christmas, and they're like, ooh-hmm, and you're like, you're 40. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like this, like kind of like slipping back into those roles and fighting.
Starting point is 01:05:43 For our 10-year reunion, it was organized by a group of old classmates. We were all added to a Facebook group, dinner and drinks were organized. We were asked to pay $100 a head towards this. I found out from one of the girls that when they went to pay for their own meals and pubs at the drink, they met up at the dinner. it wasn't covered.
Starting point is 01:06:02 Oh. The $100 didn't fully... What was $100 for then? Didn't fully cover it. No one knew what the $100 were. What? That seems like they've paid for something. Well, not because if you can't charge $100 to organize it and not provide something for the $100.
Starting point is 01:06:19 If you're meeting at a bar or a restaurant, you don't have to pay for that. Yeah. Just what you eat. Right. Oh. Yeah. Someone did just say that they went to one, they had to fly. over to Melbourne for it and they had a great time. It was a lovely day other than being
Starting point is 01:06:31 what was it, fat or wealthier, older and border. Everybody had a good time, had some good yarns and catch some teachers as well. Okay. My kid's school is just basically a school reunion every day. I just go there and it was everyone I went to school with and the people who went to school that became teachers teach there now so. Yeah. Yes. It would be. I finally got to bang my science teacher at the high school reunion. I'm sorry, what? Finally got to bang my high school teacher. He was only 12
Starting point is 01:07:01 years older than he, so a young teacher, but you know, in an inappropriate relationship in the circumstance. Yeah, but now it's, is it still appropriate, is it inappropriate at the reunion? No. Okay, no, no, no, so it's fine. Adults do these things. Good on you, mate. That's really tickled, you hasn't it? That's really tickled
Starting point is 01:07:17 back. Are you just... That's one for the science department too, because they're never the hot ones. We only had... No, we only had two male teachers. One of him didn't teach me and the other who, No. No, it's a no. Not my cup of tea. You don't know, you could go back to your school reunion next month,
Starting point is 01:07:31 and he could have blossomed, flourished. Oh, he was 60 then, so he's 80 now. Yeah, he wasn't young or anything like that. Yeah, well, do you want his money or not? Well, 04-0. He's a teacher, you know, no one for being completely loaded. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's been a teacher for years. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:49 He's been making bank. Oh, well, maybe I'll go. I'm not going to go. No, I can't imagine it. Podcast Network ZM's Fletchpoint and Haley I need to know from our listeners Do you have a bad laugh?
Starting point is 01:08:05 Do you have a odd laugh A maniacal laugh like our dear friend Morgan Penn? It's absolutely bizarre And then do you remember that you were one of your comedy shows A few years back? She had an identical twin laugh I know I stopped the show to be like

Starting point is 01:09:13 left for 630 and a lovely person message saying, oh my God, we're at the 630 show. So excited, preferably don't sell out the back row because those are the final tickets. I said, why come? She said, I like to think we're bringing premium audience energy. You don't want to dilute that. Plus, I laugh like an escaped seagull and I don't want to traumatise anyone near. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Now, 6.30 tonight, you best believe my ears are going to be open to the back of the room, knowing that lovely Kim is there with her strange laugh. But I want to know if you've got a laugh that just gets the comments. People
Starting point is 01:09:52 go, oh my God. Maybe you're one of those like silent until the inhale. What was that? Was it, do you remember that old mate a few years ago that went viral for his laugh? Do you remember that? It was a really funny. Did we talk to him? Did we interview him? I felt like we did.
Starting point is 01:10:06 Right. We talked about it. It was like a, I'd say, I've got a loud laugh and it can burst. But mine's like, it's like, it's no one's going to be like, ugh. It's not unusual. What the hell is that? Yeah, no, it's, you're standard.
Starting point is 01:10:24 Yeah, yeah, your standard. It's just loud. It's just loud. know if people are going to want to admit to this. You don't have to do your laugh, but I'd love you as our, my friend Kim here, described her laugh as an escaped seagull. Feel free to describe it
Starting point is 01:10:37 to us. An escaped seagull. I very rarely see seagulls in captivity. But you can imagine it's been on a journey, it's been trapped. Yeah, right. Imagine how I'm letting it out. I decided it is. Okay, well, maybe it's a friend as well, you want to dobb in. Describe their laugh. Oh, 800 dars at him.
Starting point is 01:10:55 9-6-9. I don't know how this. This is going to go. This is a niche phone and topic. Yeah. On a grape. Okay. Getting some text. Describe to us your weird laugh. Cam joins us. Good morning, Cam. Good morning, guys. Good morning. Has your laugh been described as a bit unusual?
Starting point is 01:11:12 Yeah, yeah, definitely catches people's attention when it lets off. I've got a few different ones, but the one that comes to mind is, yeah, quite loud, quite impactful. I'm a six-foot-to, you know, broad-shouldered males. So, you know, when it comes out, it's... fills the room. Sorry, Haley, calm down.
Starting point is 01:11:28 When you said six foot two, Cam, I'm being professional. Haley, she got a bit excited when you said the broad shoulders.
Starting point is 01:11:34 Yeah, broad shoulders. Could you give us an example of this laugh? So, because we've, I believe, you may be similar
Starting point is 01:11:41 to our friend Morgan who does the yeah, pretty similar. There's quiet versions of that, but when it really, when something
Starting point is 01:11:49 really took us in my fancy and that really sets me off, it goes a bit like this. Oh, oh, oh, That, I love it.
Starting point is 01:11:59 Sort of a Jimmy car. Yeah. I don't care how anyone laughs. As long as someone's laughing, it just makes me smile. I can't be angry at someone laughing. I also think when you have a laugh, like you're laughing cam, and then your laughter makes other people laugh, and then you're laughing because they're laughing.
Starting point is 01:12:15 It's just like life. I was laughing before at myself laughing. It's just a chill dog. I love it so much. Oh, and he claps to him. It's a full seal. Full seal. Oh, that's so good, Cam.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Have a great weekend. Thank you for sharing. Let's have some text messages. I'm going to describe your laughter. Producer Shannon as well, you were saying you tried to get some listeners on that had text through. So one of them had to go to work so couldn't talk to us. Yeah, they were like, no, I don't want to chat. Ha ha ha ha ha.
Starting point is 01:12:52 I love that. And it made me laugh. Like a nanny laugh. Yeah. Oh, I had some cats. clothes. It was fun. Oh, that's good stuff. My husband sounds like muttly when he laughs.
Starting point is 01:13:04 I love that. And I've got a very loud cackle. I love those last words you're just like, you lose just, you're just like, oh my God. I love the one where it's just silence and you go and you finally live.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Let's also not undersell a snort. I snort all the time. That's when you know you're having a good time when you snort. Lovely Kim is listening right now. Our listener who messaged me, she said, you've outed me, Haley. You've outed me. I can confirm the Seagull Escape years ago,
Starting point is 01:13:35 living your best life, you're welcome to see you tonight, but I can't wait to hear it. Yeah, I want to hear this laugh. I mean, ideally I do. Don't call me, says Tiana. Yep. Don't call me. Apparently my laugh is like, I've got two laughs, Jimmy Carr or SpongeBob and no in between.
Starting point is 01:13:52 That's SpongeBob, hey, he goes. And Jimmy Carr's that. We've interviewed Jimmy Carr a few times. We've heard that. In real life, it's very funny. A boiled squealing kettle is how I've been described. My partner sometimes sounds like the laugh from the Christmas Carol movie where Jim Carrey was in.
Starting point is 01:14:17 It was the ghost of Christmas present. Oh, wow. My nana has a really weird laugh that snorts as well, and it's like a Muppet laugh. What's a Muppet? laugh. Wasn't that like a all the Muppets
Starting point is 01:14:30 laugh differently. That was the beauty that was the genuine beauty of the Muppets. Oh, Muttly dog, the whee's. I love it. There's so many Muttlies. A machine gun, my girlfriend.
Starting point is 01:14:41 I have a cousin who just screams. Oh. And they giggles and dribbles a little. Bit of a dribble. And then we'll go and suck the dribble back in. But you must hear all of this.
Starting point is 01:14:56 Yeah. I do because I'm hilarious. Haleysprowrower.com for tickets. Great, great little plug there. I do hear laughter non-stop for one whole hour. Okay. Cheers. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:08 The Z&P Podcast Network. I've got a doctor's warning here as a fellow doctor. Well, train doctor. I chose to go into entertainment. Yeah, because comedy pays better, doesn't it? I was like, I don't want those stinky-winky surgeon wages. Give me a gig on a Wednesday for a seven-minute set. Warning from doctors for, I guess in particular the girlies,
Starting point is 01:15:28 but I will say at Les Mills, Alchos and Jim, I see a lot of boys in the shorty shorts. Oh yeah, do I have shorty shorts? No, no, they could be shorter. They could be shorter. Really? No, I don't want to go. I don't want to go any shorter. Sometimes you see me like, oh, damn.
Starting point is 01:15:41 Yeah, but some, yeah, some guys like the shorty shorts. They love the shorty shorts. Some guys. Yeah. Anyway, so. What was that? When you said some guys and then you looked at Vaughn and you waved. No, I was going like, you know who I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:15:54 That's what sort of gesturing my wrist, like you know. Shot putters. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Amongst other that. Sure, sure. They do wear the short shorts at the track of you at the con-wold. They do. So if you're a shorty short person, maybe you are at the gym.
Starting point is 01:16:08 Yep. Or you just run hot. Here is a doctor's warning. Lately, people have been wearing really short shorts, and that's fine. Thanks. Except that we have all these young people coming in with warts and molluscom here. He is out. And skin's touching.
Starting point is 01:16:24 stuff? You get stuff. Now listen, you know, I've shared this on here and I'll share it again because I'm a woman of the people. I get little bit of, I'll get butt pimps, you know, I get my butt knee. And then I was like, oh, you know, you've got to get rid of that. Warts? No, I save the warts for the knees.
Starting point is 01:16:40 I still can't get rid of this one. But girls are like, girls in particular sitting in their little booty shorts after the gym, sitting on a park bench, sitting here, sitting there, meeting up the friend in the cafe going here and we're getting warts. But that means somebody else. Toosh. That means somebody else that was sitting on. Has rub their wot on the surface.
Starting point is 01:16:58 But their water is also on their butt. No, their wot could have been their hands. They could have sat on their hands. They could have touched it. Oh, yeah. Could have been on their knee. They're sitting on their legs, sitting on their foot. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:07 See, this is why I wipe down the gym equipment. No, you do not. You are warts, patient zero. I'm wiping it down today after hearing that, though. You smear your warts everywhere. Yeah. Oh, that's gross. Because the shorts.
Starting point is 01:17:20 Especially when you sit down, they ride up a little bit. So they expose more of the, upper leg. Yeah, in the bottom of the bum area. And then you're kind of sitting on that for a while giving it plenty of time to latch on. What's are a harmless skin growth caused by an infection with the human
Starting point is 01:17:36 papillomavirus. That's the HPV virus. Yes, yes. Which can give you genital warts. So is that the one that could also give you the cervical cancer? It's a hell of a virus. So the virus enters If you get the vaccine for HPV, do you get the
Starting point is 01:17:51 can you get any other kind of warts? That's a good question. I've got, I had the, the cervix surgery, so I had the HPV, but then I've also got a knee wot. Because it's still in me. You've got it all, don't you? What a cat. I'm just going to go, I've got a, the HPV virus does not cure the HPV vaccine.
Starting point is 01:18:15 Doesn't cure warts. All warts. So you could still get them. Still get them. Okay, right. I mean, you can burn off warts, but just. Put a towel down. It doesn't cure existing warts,
Starting point is 01:18:25 but it will stop new infections, specific strains of the HPV, mostly to deal with the cervical cancer. Wow, okay, that's amazing. So we're not warp protected if we've had the jab. So when you sit down in your shorthy shorts, you might want to just like pop down your jumper first and keep an eye out for them warts.
Starting point is 01:18:45 I counted 79 all rights today. Fletcher, but that's a new personal record. Oh, fuck off. How many of those did you count? Oh, yeah. 79 of those too. All right. Well, if you enjoyed today's podcast, give us a rate and review.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Oh, fuck off. Play ZM's Fletchhorn and Haley.
