Starting point is 00:00:00 From the ZM podcast network. This is... Fleshwon and Haley's Big Pod. Thanks to animates, making happy happen for pets. Welcome to the show, Fletch, Vaughn and Haley. Happy Tuesday, days away from our first Fletchworn and Haley live show. Kicking off in Wellies. Very excited.
Starting point is 00:00:19 Ed Hamilton and Christchurch, a week Friday. True dat. It's all go. Today, because it's Tuesday, happy Tarko Tuesday. Happy Tarko Tuesday to you. Happy Tarko. Tuesdays that are those that celebrate. Those that don't.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Today, because it is National Taco Day, Taco Bell taking over the show today. So every caller that gets on air, a $50 Taco Bell voucher. I'm going to buy you more than a couple of tacos. Many TACOs. A crunch wrap Supreme. Last time I had a Taco Bell.
Starting point is 00:00:51 We've got so many of these to give away. If you want to call us now. Now, I want to do three right now. You want to do it. 0-800-ZM? Yeah, right now. Here we go. Gide. Oh, the phone's gone that different colour again.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Oh, no, you promised tarcos, you bastard. The phone line's gone that different colour. Oh, it's a setting. We'll sort that out. Does it affect the phones, or do you just like it a specific colour? Well, Will wants tacos. Well, happy Taco Tuesday. Hello, thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:01:19 $50 dollar taco voucher for you. Congratulations. Thank you for that, guys. It'll be awesome. There you go, right. Wait, then we'll sort that out. You're absolutely most welcome. Katie, good morning.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Good morning Happy Taco Tuesday Happy Taco Tuesday Mom I go work off my tacos before I have them Oh yeah No no no no no Yeah that's good
Starting point is 00:01:40 Great start to the day there It's what we call Tacco Deficit Yeah it is And then you leave the gym And then you leave the gym and you can eat as many as you want Bingo You just work out for as long as
Starting point is 00:01:49 as many tacos you want Seven tacos, seven minutes Katie wait there we'll sort that out Kylie, good morning God everyone wants to fix this morning Good morning. Why is everyone so bloody chipper and happy? Yeah. It's Taco Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:02:04 It's Taco Tuesday. Of course it is. Kylie, we've got $50 from Taco Bell for you. Congratulations for Taco Tuesday. Thank you so much. Oh, lovely. That was lovely, wasn't it? We're going to leave all these people taco list?
Starting point is 00:02:17 What about the next person? One more. One more. Can we do one more? Let's do one more. The girls are overrun. They're like, it's 604. And we're sprung this. Oh, we've got tacos. We've got tacos coming out, the Wazoo. Luam? Does Luwam?
Starting point is 00:02:29 want some tacos? Is that the one you're going to go to? Oh, hello. Chloe, good morning. Oh, Chloe. Good morning. Good morning. Hello. $50 Taco Bell voucher for you for Taco Tuesday. That is an amazing Tuesday. Thank you. Just like that. Well done.
Starting point is 00:02:45 And Taco Tuesday's running all week. You can grab two tacos for five bucks at Taco Bell. That's what we're not doing. We're not doing wings Wednesday. Chloe, Katie, like everyone had a caca, caca, c out. No, not everybody. Don't say cacaca. That's why I said a car sound rather than a case out.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Now, our big chance you to win, dealer reveal, there's still a $5,000 briefcase on the wall. And we've got four days left. So what's at eight cases left? A one in eight chance of you picking that $5,000 briefcase. A dealer reveal is at 8 a.m. this morning. Four, and you've got the top six, apparently Elon Musk is single. Yes, he is. I've got the top six perks, the dating Elon Musk.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Well, there's a couple. Yeah. I can think of one. I think nothing, nothing would outweigh the fact that you have to be with him. A V-L-L-Lam. Yeah, like him doing his jokes and his little dances and you're like, I was going to pop out shopping again. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Next on the show, though, if you're concerned about like the new smart AI glasses that have the cameras in them, there's a new app you need to know about. The Z&P Podcast Network. Meta Oakley's or Raybans. Yeah. The glasses with cameras in them. Yeah, and they can give you, send your messages. and all sorts.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Yep. Recently Kmart launched their cheap knock-off glasses, although do they end up pulling those? Yeah, I think it was a bit of backlashay. Big, back. Because it made it too affordable for like creeps. Because now creeps.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Could now, uh, Greeks with no money. Rich creeps. Yeah, actually. Poor creeps. I don't like poor creeps. Yeah. Rich creeps. A BBC investigation in January
Starting point is 00:04:18 traced dozens of accounts that posted content of a woman, or many women who were filmed in public by meta-glasses. Yeah, it's like sitting it's sort of like it's seemingly innocent like sitting across the train but they're just perving at you looking at you one video posted a 20 year old woman's face and phone number and had
Starting point is 00:04:36 1.3 million views in July because a lot of people have found a workaround to get rid of the light that comes on when the glasses are filming well that's good is it like you at a hotel you take your boot tack where you travel well you know I don't like the red lights on the TV
Starting point is 00:04:54 you see blue tack though Yeah, we unplugged the fridge and then you blue-tac the TV. So apparently in July, Meta announced it would push an update that would detect if the LED had been cut off or tampered with, and so it would stop those glasses being able to record. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like if you're going to record, you have to be able to... The light has to come on.
Starting point is 00:05:14 So, I mean, there's all this out there. There's all these concerns, and now a man has invented an app called Zuckoff. Zuck off. Like Mark Zuckerberg. Yep, gotcha. Zuck off. And it's a free app, and it can tell you if there are meta glasses in your vicinity. Like a little Bluetooth detector thing.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Yeah, so he has, this guy, this developer has gone out and he's purchased all of the glasses, the smart glasses that you can buy. And he's got their Bluetooth fingerprint, basically. Yeah, like it's a little... The footprint. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So it would be the same as how air tags work. I do so, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:53 devices because I'm imagining those meta glasses have those location. Yeah. You know, if you lose them, you can see where they are. So, find my thing. It won't tell you if the glasses are recording. It can just tell you if they're in the room or around you. And then what? You can just be like, don't record me.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Well, you could, I guess you could look out for them. Yeah, look out for them and then move if you feel like you're being, yeah. Huh. I mean, it's good. It's a start. Yeah. It's so bizarre, right? It's so, like, imagine being on a date with someone.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Well, and that's the thing. people have like influences have filmed these dates and posted them and people don't know. Yeah. I think, I mean, at the moment they're very obvious, I think. These two. Well, no, some of them have been marketed as not being obvious with cameras. But why market that?
Starting point is 00:06:38 Why market? You can't even tell we're filming. Like, that's a terrible thing to market. But if I was like sitting across from someone on a day and I looked at their glasses and I went, are they smart glasses or AI glasses? And they said yes. I'll be like, oh yeah, just make sure that you're not filming.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Like, because then unless you've said it, and then every time I just think, I haven't seen a single peer yet that haven't been obvious. Crazy obvious. Yeah. Well, and it says here, when Meta announced that it would push this update, meta chief technology officers stated that the company designed the camera
Starting point is 00:07:14 to be noticed by people around you. This is despite the fact that one of the products, key commercial propositions is that the camera doesn't look like camera. Yeah. Yeah. Like, you can't tell it's a camera. That's, what's the word?
Starting point is 00:07:29 Like, it's like, okay, hypocritical. Not hypocritical. Like, like, contradictory is the word I want. Yeah, 100%. Like, you can't even tell there's a camera. But it's obvious there's a camera so people know there's a camera. Yeah, and apparently like places like movie cinema is already banning these glasses. Oh, yeah, because you could make pirated.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Yeah. I mean, who's going to watch a pirated like two and a half hour Avengers movie? Me, man, I'm going to Thailand. I want them DVDs. Yeah, but every time you go for a little chip or something, the glasses are going to go down to your hand, up to the thing. I don't know why people are so desperate to watch a terrible quality movie. No, there's no way I'd watch it.
Starting point is 00:08:04 In this world of choice. So I'm just looking online, the Rayban meta-glasses still $809. What? I mean, I suppose like a designer pair of sunglasses would be $500. So that, like, high-end, you know, Daltrow and Gabana or something. But then, I just think they look. Weird, little dicky little cameras. Everyone just instantly assumes you're a creep.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Yeah, yeah. It's just pervy. Yeah. Yeah, not for me. The Fletch morning, Haley, big pod. I first saw these and I was like, what you've described there is just a nappy for adults, right? So these are called Rommies. It's an Australian company that have got a new undie invention.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Now, we've been rocking around with the same undies for ages. Some undies have like a snap crotch, like a jump. so often has a snap crotch so peel the boobs down. That feels so uncomfortable having domes, domes rocking between the... Especially for us lippy ladies.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Oh, I was thinking if the thighs were touching it and be able to. Sure, if you're all, you know... You don't want to clip a lip. No. You ever put it... Well, you guys don't have kids, but when you were putting it on their bike helmets...
Starting point is 00:09:11 No, but I remember the fear of my mum coming in and me be like, don't put... Yeah, and you do it once, and they never trust you again. Now, I can only imagine what it would be like putting on your own jumpsuit and clip in a lot. you'd never trust yourself again. You'd never. So this company's called Romese.
Starting point is 00:09:25 They're designed to be like travel hacks. Now women focus, Fletch, but I think you could get into this. Okay. This is for when you're like, say you're on a long haul flight, you've got a 16-hour flight or something like that. You're about to land and you want a fresh crotch, you know? Okay. Well, I just go to the bathroom with the spare pair of underwear that I purchased.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Yeah, and you take off your pants. Yeah. So your pants drag on the ground where everyone's pissed for seven, hours. Oh no, I'll do a thing where I stand on my burk and stocks. Oh yeah. Yeah. And I won't let the... But still the pants... Put out the paper towels and do a full floor
Starting point is 00:10:01 cover. See, you're wasting so much paper. You're getting piss all over your pants. Right. The piss of strangers. These would stop this. So they're side domed, which is why I was like, this is an undie. Like, this is a nappy. You know we put a nappy on a kid?
Starting point is 00:10:17 Side strap, side strap. They're side domed. So they're If you were to change your undies, I would just say I'm wearing shorts, just hitch them down a little bit so they're still not off, side dome off, whip that pair away. Whip it off. Whip another one on, under, pants still on.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Not on the ground. Side dome, side dome, side dome. When would you ever need these? Traveling. But you're just quick changed in a train, in a plane. But then you're going to take your pants. You've got to take your shoes off sometimes,
Starting point is 00:10:45 get pants off. I'd say maybe women would need these more than men. If we're wearing a tight jean, now I've got my shoes off. So now I'm raw dog socking on the floor of a train or a plane or whatever or a bus or wherever I'm getting changed. Whereas you can just roll them down, clip them off, clip them away. There's little things sitting underneath the belt of your pants or whatever. I mean, sorry, just excuse me for a moment, listeners. I just have to explain to business class travelers.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Some of us don't get pajamas. So back in economy, back an economy, yeah. For a start, meal choice limited. Really? drinks, they'll cut you off. It's limited. No champagne on takeoff. They come in like an aluminium train.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Yeah. There's no plastic. There's outrageous. You've got to put your mouth straight in it like you're picking a trough. Yeah. Back in economy. Right. So.
Starting point is 00:11:34 Plastic cup. Yeah. Really? Wow. You know the hot towels? Yeah. None of those babies. No, goodness.
Starting point is 00:11:40 My goodness. Okay, right. And when you say, can you come make my bed up, please? They're like, what are you talking about? You're like, you're like, you're cut off from the bar. 15 degrees tops. 15 degrees. I know, it's not fun back there.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Does it not go all the way back? No. Goodness, no. No. I know. Okay, right. And also you have to wear your own clothes. They don't give you pajamas.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Okay, wow. It's the same clothes you bought it the plane in. Yeah. You can bring your own clothes. You can bring some clothes. Right. You've got to get changed yourself. They don't dress you.
Starting point is 00:12:07 In a tiny bathroom. Yeah. That everyone on the plane shares. Yeah. Yeah. And everyone's paid in there. Yeah. Wild.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Okay. It's crucial. You know when you fall asleep and you wake up and you've got a blanket over you. you. The only thing you'll have on you in economy is another stranger. I sleep on top of you. Only way of keeping warm. Yeah, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:12:28 I'm just needed to inform you what that's like. Thank you, Vaughn, thanks. So the dome on the side of these things would be horrible under a belt. They're pretty well made by the looks of it and it's nice and flat. I don't think that you'd notice it too much. No, no, no, I think it's a good idea. I would be like, oh, I was going to say festivals, but I don't know that I'm... We've got to a concert and need to change my...
Starting point is 00:12:50 Yeah. But for a lot, if you were doing back-to-back, New Zealand to Europe, two long-haul flights, and you've got limited time and limited space without having to remove your pants or your shoes, you use Rames. The Fletchborn and Haley Big Pod. From the unmoderated comment section, this is the top six. Elon Musk is single and ready to mingle. Is he? Man, he's had some. Well, he does that thing.
Starting point is 00:13:20 He wants to breed as many kids as he can, right? Yeah, it's gross. And then he has like NDAs with these women so they can't speak about it. And the NBA. He's basketball games. I didn't even have those good basketballs. In DAs. In DAs.
Starting point is 00:13:33 And his kids hate him. So many of his kids hate him. We've got heaps, right? He's got heaps and he's got more than we know. Okay, so I'm looking at his relationship timeline. Elon Musk was married in the mid-90s. Oh no, sorry. He dated a woman called.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Jennifer, that was publicly. His first wife was Justine. He was with her from 2000 to 2008. Then Tallulah Riley, he married from 2010 to 2012 and then separated, got back together for three years from 2013 to 2016. She's in English. That's him coming back. Amber Heard, 2016 to 2017.
Starting point is 00:14:09 That's right. Don't remember that. Grimes from 2018 to 2022. Chauvin Zillis from 21 to 25. She was the one that had twins with him. And then two more children later. He's so uncharismatic. He's not conventionally attractive.
Starting point is 00:14:26 I don't care what people are into it. Like, you know, not my cup of tea. He just has a lot of money. And imagine swanning around that big old house, you could probably get if far away from him as possible. I'm just going, in my head, could I do it for the money? Then Ashley Sinclair was an author. I've looked here about an American influencer author and political commentator.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Outspoken proponent of conservative and anti-transgender politics. Sick, cool person. Then I, until 2026 when she denounced her previous anti-transactivism. Okay. And she also has a child with Elon Musk. Man, there's some kids in the mix. So the top six things are perks, the dating Elon Musk. Number six on the list, you're probably already pregnant if you're even considering it.
Starting point is 00:15:05 That's just how he works. Powerful swimmers, eh? Number, must be. Boof, that's them entering through the cervix, doesn't? Bam! Powerful swimmer energy, though. Move aside. Number five on the list of the top six perks, the dating Elon Musk.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Free Rocket rights? Yes. What'd you go, if you were going up with Elon Musk and he's like, because I know you're deeply allergic to space. Yeah. But he's like, I'll give you a free space ride. You'd say no. 100%.
Starting point is 00:15:30 It's none of my business. What's happening up there. Yeah, fair. Number four on the list of the top six perks of dating Elon Musk, fast charger for your Tesla, I reckon. Shit, they had the fastest. I just bought an E-car. You just got an E-vecicle?
Starting point is 00:15:42 You just got an E-vecicle. Yeah. Not a trickle charge. Do you think he'd be annoyed that I'd turn up in a non-Teslet? By the way, you must feel smug as a little duck on a lake with an electric car with petrol prices to a pre-Iran worn high. Yeah, I don't have it yet. I'm still a few weeks away. I'm in my parents' car that takes 95.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Oh, so you're in a gas guzzling, nerd for a little while I am. As I drive it, so yeah, I'm looking forward to it. But I don't know that Elon would be appreciate me pulling up in a, what have I got? M.G. Is that it? No, as much. Number three on the list of the top six perks to dating Elon Musk. awesome friend group. What a bunch.
Starting point is 00:16:21 Sick. Great guys. Great guys. I don't know if you guys have heard of Jeffrey Epstein. I have heard of him. Dead. Yeah, unfortunately. Hey, yes, I. See you later. Number two on the list of the top six. Perks, the dating Elon Musk.
Starting point is 00:16:36 You get to be a step-parent to like 12 kids. Yeah. And some of their names. No, I'm not really nice. Is that how many he's officially got? No, I don't know. That's a good question. What was the one he had with Grimes? X-Y-L-L-T. A.E.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Yeah. 12. Elon Musk has 14 Noan children. No one. I do apologize. I said 12. It's 14.
Starting point is 00:16:57 God, you could do it. That's multiple rugby teams. Literally feel a whole rugby team. Saturday morning sports would be a nightmare. Yeah. Oh my gosh. And I imagine he's heavily involved at the drop-offs.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Yeah. And number one on the list of the top six perks to dating on Elon Musk, South African citizenship. The most highly sought-after citizenship. one of the hottest passports in the world. Everybody's just like, please come in, come on. Y'all.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Come on, Dave. Come on, I need one of those. They knock around. Come on. Get in here. The amount of people I get in my DMs say to me, oh, I want to marry, I want to marry, please can I have your passport? I'll say no. I'm not doing that. I'll only marry for love.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Yeah. You do not get to come to the motherland. You said that you'd marry me for my British passport. I would only marry for love or a UK or EU passport. A EU passport. Your. Yo, that is today's top six. The Z&M Podcast Network.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Play ZDM's Fletch, Born and Haley. Now, there is a woman who has shared a really harrowing experience online. Yeah. Something I, like myself, I've had moments of experiencing in my life. She has been beautiful her whole life. Okay. Like us. Wow.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Yeah, okay. Born into pretty privilege. He's a plight, um, read to get behind her. Yeah, yeah, and relate to. I think as three really pretty people. Born pretty, have lived our life pretty, and get all the privileges that come with that. Then she went through a few things in life that caused her to,
Starting point is 00:18:29 and something we also relate to, blow out. We'll say blow out. The roller coaster of weight fluctuation. Weight fluctuation being one of them. She had some skin stuff going on. I mean, we've all been there. And she entered the world of Mingadim. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:45 It's a world we've all touched the tow into. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think it's nice. It keeps you humble. And that is where she realized, actually, her pretty privilege to begin with. Wow. Something she didn't notice at first.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Things like free drinks a lot of the time. They dried up. They dried up. Friendliness, general friendliness. She's felt a significant change in people, shopkeepers, let's say. Wow. And that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Oh, my God, people want tacos. Shall I pause for tacos? This is what we know, though, isn't it? Yeah, she said, as she, She described it as As she got uglier The attention, respect Perks in life all stopped
Starting point is 00:19:25 People stopping for you at the pedestrian crossing Oh you're not going to stop for a minga Yeah people Everyone has walked past her Nothing Whereas they used to stop Do you have photos of a before and after No
Starting point is 00:19:39 Did this encourage her to It was a Reddit thing that she shared online So she didn't We didn't get a before and after minger She said it did make her a better person They made her more empathetic to Mingers In the way that some of them have been living life this whole time This is what we know, yeah
Starting point is 00:19:56 Then she tried to accept Mingadim as we all do When we're into Mingadim, we say, no, this is what I want it Yeah I'm not going to sort of conform to societal norms I chose this But then it comes to an end and we all go, I actually know I'm I'm going to get hot again And she said as soon as she started getting hot again
Starting point is 00:20:14 She was like, it all returned and she was like, oh, thank Christ. God, that was harrowing, being ugly. God, I much prefer. But it's made her a little more humble? Yeah, it has made her more humble. Yeah. And she's realized sort of the, you know...
Starting point is 00:20:25 The privilege. The privilege of being beautiful. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fletch, Forne and Haley. Now, we want to know right now, though, how did you do a runner from a date? Like, maybe you just up and left, I remember... Or like a fake call?
Starting point is 00:20:44 Yeah, fake. call so I know Jazzy Smith, Justin Smith, beloved comedian, has a good story about this, that she was on a day and it was going so badly, he went to the toilet and a woman came up to her and was like, that guy's a loser. And Jazzy was like, he is, eh?
Starting point is 00:20:59 And she was like, go. She's like, I've got it, go. And the woman just like, was like, just go. I'll pay for whatever he leaves. It's fine, just going. How did this woman know? It was obviously just going bad. So she didn't know the guy previously.
Starting point is 00:21:13 she was just kind of really worked there. Yeah, yeah. This was like years and years ago. And I'm guessing she overheard some of the combo. Yeah, yeah, exactly. So there was a woman who was on a date. She was sharing experience online. It was going so horribly.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Like this, he popped to the toilet. She was like, I'm just going to do a runner. I'm just going to get out of here. She goes to go out the door. The person at the end stops her and is like, oh, so are you leaving or you going to pay? And she's like, oh, yeah, yeah, can I just pay? And while she's doing that, he comes out and is like, where are you going?
Starting point is 00:21:40 And it turns into the most, like, awkward. She just wanted that clean I can't even Say it to his face why I'm leaving And she was just like Oh and then he had to make up this excuse Why she was leaving And he was like are you doing a runner
Starting point is 00:21:51 And she said yes I would have had it with a red heart There's an emergency I've got to go I was going to message you but I've paid for it But I got to go And then block Ring ring ring Yeah
Starting point is 00:22:02 Hello oh my God I've got to go No I wasn't doing a run What are you doing? Your phone's not even ringing Sorry Oh my God my entire family's dead? I'm so sorry, I've got to go.
Starting point is 00:22:16 I'm sorry, I'm going to go. I sound like a cat spew. The cat's spew. My cat's unwell, yeah. And then they're like, well, I'll come and help. And then they're in your house. How clunky to be like, I'm just going to clean exit this thing. And then he's like, what are you doing? Are you paying? Or are you running? It's so awkward.
Starting point is 00:22:31 But anyway, this is what I want to know. Have you done a clean escape? What are they call it the Irish exit on a date? Or did you get a, like, because a lot of people will have a message they send their friends. Yeah. And then they call them. Yeah. And then they fake an exit.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Yeah. That's kind of a strategy to get out. Yes. What excuse did you use? 0800 dials at em as a number. You can call us. Text through 9-696. How did you do a sneaky exit?
Starting point is 00:22:55 Pull the rip cord. Get the F out of there. Make a bit of an escape. I mean, I've definitely done, we used to call it a different kind of walk. But I've definitely done a wake up. Just go out of bed. Remove myself from the flat. Establish the suburb.
Starting point is 00:23:11 and take my exit without morning. The good old days before you knew where you were on your phone, you'd have to wake up, you'd have to work out where you'd, all right, the sun's coming up there, so that's east. Yeah. You kids would never know the struggle of waiting up in Hittata and being like, I used to wake up in a weird suburb and get out my Jason's map book. See a street, side.
Starting point is 00:23:33 You'd walk through the corner of the street and you'd look it up in the index, and the seas, and away you'd go. You'd be a way laughing. And it just says Queen Street. You're like, God, there's one of those in every day. Somebody said they were at a group sort of a setting on a date, and they had to, they were in a, they described that as one of those round tables.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Oh, the booth. The booth. The booth. I knew what they meant because to me, I immediately pictured BK. And you're trapped on the wrong side. Yeah. You trapped on the wrong side and you've got to get out.
Starting point is 00:24:00 They said they went under the table. And then when everyone was talking, they went under the table and they just went out and they went out the door. Yeah. Of a booth. And they exited and then they got a message. saying where have you gone? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:13 And they blocked them. Someone says, a year ago I got my friend to call me, claiming there was a work emergency, gapped it, blocked them. Then yesterday, he was sitting beside me at the hairdress. Yesterday. That's good. That's good stuff.
Starting point is 00:24:29 I had to get my dad to come and pick me up and pretend that my mum had broken her leg. Have you seen that on social media? Have you seen that when the cops are following me home? Yeah, yeah. I said I was rushing home because you have, had an emergency. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:42 I've got my dad to come and say... I've seen one of those and they said, tell Dad to lie on the ground and pretend to be having a heart attack and they get home and their dad's like fully selling it on the front lawn. But the cops aren't even there.
Starting point is 00:24:54 She was just testing if her parents would do it for her. Oh, okay, right. And then they're like, where are the place? And she was like, I was just testing you and they fly off the handle later. I see you imagine. That's good stuff.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Someone said like a movie center gaped it out of the bathroom window, one of those tiny ones above the toilet. I made it out and never saw him again. That is like a movie or a test. That happens all the time. I'm broadened the hip. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Do you know what I mean? Also, you don't even have to be very light. You're putting that sort of downward pressure on an aluminum frame. You could really break the window. See, I imagined timber. You imagined timber. That's where we differ, you and I. I'm always imagining aluminium framing.
Starting point is 00:25:28 I told my date that I was cold, so I was just going to grab my jacket from the car and I just got in the car and drove off. I want to know, like, what was the moment you decided? But did you, I feel like you've got to at least text them when you're in the car and say, hey, look, I'm not feeling this. Don't be a decent human being, flirt. Oh, okay, sorry. No, no, no, we're not doing that. We're not doing that, are we? Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Someone said I was at a date at a board game place. And it was okay. I like board games. Yeah, but the person I was playing with was no good. So I rolled the dice really aggressively. And when he went to get it, I'd gap it the other way. Oh, that's pretty clever. It's a bit of a diversion situation there.
Starting point is 00:26:00 We were at the movies. I got up for popcorn halfway through the movie and never came back. The date watched the whole second half next to an empty seat. Oh, it's pretty sad. I don't think I've ever been, no, I have never been ghosted mid-date. They just ghost you afterwards. Yeah, I've woken up next to an empty bed. And then the first thing you do is be like, looking around my goods,
Starting point is 00:26:23 there's my jewelry, there's my things that I care about. Emma's message, didn't went on a date with someone when I lived in Canada, I did a football game. It was so boring and he was so dull. In what other intervals, because they have so many. Yes, lots of start. I know, they stopped. I pretended I'd missed a phone call and I,
Starting point is 00:26:40 saw the message and I said, oh, my flatmates called and said, we've been robbed. And our house has been ransacked, so I had to leave. It was all a lie. I rushed away saying, sorry, sorry. The thing was, I worked with his mum in a bagel shop. So the next day, she was very concerned about the flat being robbed. And if it was safe and if they were going to be coming back, and I had to tell her we hadn't been robbed. They'd just been ransacked it.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Oh, yeah. Okay. So my message and said, I was here on a terrible day. There was absolutely no chemistry. I went to the bathroom, was messaging my best friend, planning on how I was going to sneak out, came back out and he'd done it to me. So the vibes were definitely off.
Starting point is 00:27:18 The ZM Podcast Network. ZM's Fletchborn and Haley. So I was away over the weekend and we were coming back from Tiaoamu, who got pulled over by a cop. They love her, they love her. What on State Highway 1? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Or back roads? Whatever the road is from Tiaoamu to Perongia. Old Mara Road. Hey, El Mara Road. Yeah, whatever that road was. No, that's not stated.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Tell you what. We did not slow down fast enough from the 100 to the 50. Bad boys, bad boys. Me and Mike, bad boys. So Mike's driving this one, right? That's your boyfriend. That's my boyfriend, by the way.
Starting point is 00:28:01 And we get pulled over and she's like going a bit fast there. And Wadmet, yes, who was going a bit fast. And... What's my? Mike's current demerit point status. Is he at risk?
Starting point is 00:28:14 Wow, we haven't had that chat yet. You haven't talked about demuret point? You've been together, what a year? You've got to talk demerit points. Yeah. I like to, Hayley. I haven't disclosed mine. What if he's only 20 away?
Starting point is 00:28:25 Then you should do the driving. I like to discuss on my first date. What's your merits? Yeah, where you're demerits at. I wasn't doing the driving. I'd had too many cocktails. Right, okay. Because I'm a bad boy, bad boy.
Starting point is 00:28:34 So he's driving and going a bit fast and, you know, license all that kind of stuff. and then ask, have you had any drinks? Yeah. He said, not for ages, because we'd been out, you know, had a drink with dinner, but we'd seen a movie and been out and everything. Breathalized? Pass.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Good boy. Good boy. What you're going to do? What you're going to do? Drive your girlfriend home. So, then she's chatting, she was like, where are you off to? We're like, oh, we're just from out of town. We're, you know, heading off to Porongia.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Oh, yeah, we're going. We're staying up at this heart, blah, blah, blah. And she's, I don't know that. And I was like, oh, it's gorgeous. And she just goes, crouch. just down looks at me and I was like I need to shut my mouth she shines the torch right my eyeballs she goes very familiar voice
Starting point is 00:29:18 I was like yeah she's like hey lady's brow from ZDM I was like hello and then in my head in my head I'm thinking sit back Mike I've got this now yeah you know what ticket we're having a chitty chitty chitit chat chat I was like charm charm my way here oh it's lovely god we love it here go we're gonna hear back to the city
Starting point is 00:29:40 tonight we just said a little bit more country time, you know. Anyway, so she's chatting and then she goes, oh, at the start of its shift, apparently, you decide if it's odds or evens, and everyone you pull over that has that, so hers was odds, the number plate ends in an odd number, is getting the random drug testing.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Oh, okay. So then where she's got to do the Mike's going to do the bloody tongue-scraped drug test thing. Oh, that's exciting. Yeah, I know, thrilling. I'm probably not exciting for some people that have just smokes a joint or something, but it was fine. Yeah. So, did that, and then they have to sit it in your dashboard so it stays nice and
Starting point is 00:30:11 warm and you got to chat for five more minutes. Too? Because it was really cold. If it goes outside, it can adjust the test and it won't do it. That's so interesting. That's on the dashboard and we're chatting and I was like, I'm about to get us out of the speeding ticket because bad boys, bad boys. Watch it gone on.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Anyway, she's chatting where we're having a really good time and I think I've nailed it and she was like, yeah, that's past, boo's test, past all that year. Just head on home and slow down a little bit. And I was like, thank you very much. Thank you very much. And she was like, yeah, and your ticket will be in the mail. And I was like, bad. Damn it.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Wait, they mail it to you? Did you not take any details? You just took it. Just confirmed his home address and his license and stuff. Anyway, so bad boy, bad boy. Got a speeding ticket. Yeah, but not you. Not me, but the next day.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Oh, he retired. We're leaving Perungia to head back to Auckland. And we're going through this little bit. And I literally had just been driving along. I was flanked by motorcycles everywhere, you know what? And I was like, God, we're going to be, it's a bit cluttered on this road. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:09 whoop, whoop. And I was like, yeah, girl, bad boy, bad boy. I was like, you're going to pull over these motorcyclists because they're a bunch of bad boys. And she's shuffling them across. pulls over me. I was like, God, what is it one of these cops in this town? Another female cop she comes up and she was like, you know, wind the window down.
Starting point is 00:31:28 And I was like, you caught another bad boy. And she was like, you're going a bit fast there. And I was like, Jesus, lead foot, a couple of lead foots. And I was like, I don't think I was. She was like, really? I was like, yeah. I don't think I was speeding. She was like, oh, okay, well, just watch it.
Starting point is 00:31:45 And then left. Do you think she was radar gunning, but there was too many bikes and stuff? She was like, I think there might have been another silver sedan. And I was like, no, it wasn't me. I don't think it was too. I wasn't trying to be like, you know, I was going 120. But then do you think if you had said, yeah, I was going 60? She would have been like, okay, tick it?
Starting point is 00:32:05 Yeah, I don't know. I was like, no, I don't think so. She was like, okay. Maybe they have to have the proof. They have to have the... Yeah, I think probably she was just going to say to me, like, slow it down a bit or something like that. But anyway, bad boy.
Starting point is 00:32:20 A couple of run-ins with the law. Play Z-N. Fletch-Forn and Haley. No one's more excited about the election than Fletchforn and Haley. It's all we've talked about. For weeks. No, we were talking about erections. Oh, God, I'm sorry. Much more on brand for us, I reckon.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Yeah. Well, as part of the elections, we have to debate. things, don't we? In the leaders debate is being adjudicated by Jack Tame who joins us in studio. Kiata guys. Welcome adjudicator Jack. Thank you so much. Can you call me that just from now on? I feel like it adds a kind of
Starting point is 00:32:50 era of gravitas to my... It is. It's the same. Yeah, it would be good. What about it if it was judge? It's not really... But you don't get to judge. The people judge with their vote. Oh, all right. You mediate. All right, yeah. Who's the adjudicator here? We don't care who you vote or just vote. That is our right. Now, is this a job?
Starting point is 00:33:06 So basically, the leaders debate is coming up. and you get into a room with these leaders of our political parties and they debate issues. Look at you. And then you're there being like, hang on a minute. And I've just got to kind of keep them moving too. Keep them moving. Like cracking the whip the whole time going, come on, come on, come on, come on.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Next subject, next subject, next subject. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You've avoided this in a thousand ways. Yeah. Is this a role you enjoy? Because you do lots of things. You chat, you know, you do great in-depth interviews. I know you do get into politics, but is this role one you enjoy?
Starting point is 00:33:38 I will tell you in about 24 hours because honestly, I've never done one with the two leaders of the main parties before. This is the first time I've ever done. You did the minor parties last time. Yeah, yeah, the minor parties don't like it when you call them the minor parties, but yeah, the minor parties.
Starting point is 00:33:52 And the thing with the minor parties is that they've actually got lots of characters so it can be quite entertaining. Now, I don't want to cast any aspersions on the leader of Labor and National, but some people feel like it potentially isn't necessarily as entertaining as it might be if you have.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Because we were some, in general, it's, we're lacking a bit of RIS. Well, I mean, look, those are your words, not mine. It's Rizzless. But, yeah, I mean, it's a, do you want Riz and your leader? Yes. Yeah, well, okay, then you might be. Well, you're going to have to bring up to Riz. You might be best to leave.
Starting point is 00:34:27 Yeah, I mean, yeah. I don't know where you, I don't have a off button, a filter where I could stop myself from saying things. I don't know where you politically align. My thing is that I just think everyone's wrong. So I constantly, the closer you are to politicians, the more you come to appreciate that everyone is wrong about stuff all the time and that no one's right about everything. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:34:48 And that everyone is a hypocrite. And so everyone's got like, oh, this is the most important value in the world. Yeah, right. And then 10 minutes later, they're like, oh, it's not convenient for me to have that. It's a cycling. Yeah, yeah. I mean, and this is the thing that I'm always like, I'm always trying to call out when I'm adjudicating.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Well, what's your prep for it? to call out the BS. So you sit in a room and you go like, what matters to New Zealand right now? And then you make a list of the things that you think matters and then you make sure that you understand those issues and what the policies are that relate to them as best as possible. So right, everyone feels poor at the moment, right?
Starting point is 00:35:24 Everyone feels like affordability or the cost of living is like a real issue. So you're like, what are the questions there that are going to try and contrast these guys as much as possible so we can see their different visions? What else matters to people? Healthcare matters to people. Education matters to people. Where's the frugur tropical snow?
Starting point is 00:35:38 Exactly. Exactly. Yes. Oh, yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. Where's your pen and paper? Write that down.
Starting point is 00:35:43 That's one of the... Is it two summers? Two summers. Is that including the summer? Let's break up the fruit juveloopoly. Yeah. Yeah. Once fruit, one's due.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Fruit tropol. Someone brings back the tropical snow. Yeah, who's the tropical snow? Are you going to hit them with how much is a two liter milk? No, because I reckon they're ready for that. You need to go for items like... Also, I don't know how much two liter milk is because who drinks milk like a baby. Okay, well, what about how much?
Starting point is 00:36:06 Is it a salt of vinegar chips? Well, it depends. Are we getting a special? Are we going to snaker changi? Is it a lost leader? Is it like a pack and save? You know, like the lower, you know, the lower shelf at pack and save? And you have to like stoop down.
Starting point is 00:36:19 Yeah, is it that? Or are you talking like the mid-level? Yeah, exactly. Okay, yeah, fair. Well, do you ever do a practice run with friends? Yeah, we do. We go into the studio and we do it. But the problem is that they, it ends up being more fun for the people who are
Starting point is 00:36:32 pretending to be the politicians. It is for me. Like I keep them saying, is this you. I'm like, you know, it's like whoever was, you know, the drama kid at high school is having their best day of work in 15 years going. I'm Christopher Loxford! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Please, please, listen to him as he spirals and you're like, what is this? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:50 And like everyone at some point slowly drifts into Martin Luther King and they've got a dream and all that kind of stuff. I'm like, all right, let's just peer this back. You've got to be inspiring. Oh, we thought we could have a little debate in front of you. Oh, please. Did you do debating Vaughner at high school? Nah. Neither did I, weirdly.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Didn't you? Nah. Too cool, man. too busy, smoking darts. I went to school with Jacinda and I watched her just decimate people and I was just like, I don't want to do that. Oh, yeah, going up against Jacinda,
Starting point is 00:37:14 you'd be like, no. Yeah. Okay, let's debate something really simple. She was, I was just like, uh-uh. Did you, no, you didn't have to adjudicate Jacinda before, have you? I haven't had to adjudicate her many times. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Yeah. She was a tough interview. Lippy, these women. Well, the problem is, I will say this about Jacinda, masterful at acknowledging a question. without actually answering it.
Starting point is 00:37:37 So you'll ask them all quick. You'll say like, I mean, honestly, the thing about Jacinda was just really smooth at doing it. And you were the smiles. Let's see how we got. You'd say, Jacinda, sorry, very quick, you say, Jacinda, where are those, you promised 100,000 Kiwi-built houses?
Starting point is 00:37:52 Yes, I did. How many houses have you built so far? And she goes, and you know, that's... Jack, you know, what is a house is to the individual? And for me, a house is, it's less about the house, it's the home we're making, Jack. And that is why we are going to be cutting taxes on blah, blah, blah thing here.
Starting point is 00:38:06 I know she wasn't counting a lot of taxes. Not what was it. You're going to eat the rich. We're going to eat the rich. The best one is when you go, yeah, that is a really important question. And you know, da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Oh, I love this. It's like, oh, and as an interview, you're like, oh, they think it's an important question.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Okay, let's do a little debate. We'll debate something simple like reclining seats on your plans. Okay. I'm pro-recline. Are you pro-recline? Are you entering the debate now? Oh, okay. I thought you were going to rejudic.
Starting point is 00:38:35 I think it's Vaughn versus Haley. So, Haley, you're going to be anti-seat reclining on planes. And you ask questions in the way that you would in this way, and we'll see who is the more inspiring. I'm also like a master scoffer. Oh, right, okay, okay, okay. And then I'll decide who I vote for. And then you give your vote.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Yes, okay, perfect. Okay, okay. You intro at. VOR. Okay, reclining seats on aeroplanes are a divisive subject. For some people, it's a great way to make the, hours past a little bit faster when you're 30,000 feet in the year. For others, it's an intrusive experience when the person in front of you
Starting point is 00:39:12 leans back and makes you knock over your cup of tea on your little tray table. That's right, Jack, and I think that's a great place to start. If I could just interject here and actually say... You certainly have interject. I'm just going to have to stop you there for a moment, Haley. Wow. Because what we actually need to do... What we need to do here...
Starting point is 00:39:28 Wow. Wow. No, please, Jack. If she's Māori Jack, speak to her in today. We're going to have to do here. See if she understands. Coe, corero, eh? Kiaoara.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Yeah. Right. At least I'm not claiming it. Vaughn. Vaughn, give us your position and explain why you think. I'm pro-reclined, Jack. The levers are on the seat for a reason. What is 15 degrees going to ruin someone's day?
Starting point is 00:39:55 It's a slight replying. I can go back. How do you answer that? The only reason this man's reclining is to make his penis look better, Jack. I can see. He's trying to thrust it towards me as some kind of a intimidation tactic. My penis is,
Starting point is 00:40:07 my penis, is going to make a lick of a difference to my penis, Jack, it's pathetic. A lick of difference. A lick of difference. A list. It's a tiny small penis.
Starting point is 00:40:14 I'm sorry. Haley, I'm just going to have to stop there. Given you've raised penises so early in this debate, I'm going to have it. I'm going to have a raising penises, Jack. I'm going to have to get Vaughn an opportunity to respond to this.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Yeah. So Vaughn, just to give us to clarify your penis position. As a man that would need an absolutely, lie flat business seat to make a spanish thing. Lie flat. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:40:32 I can tell you, it's definitely not for the penis. He referenced lying flat there. I don't have the penis or the seat. Jack, the common New Zealander can't afford a lie-down seat at the moment. What we're struggling with is the cost of cabbages and the cost of broccoli. I think New Zealanders don't like being called common. Everyday New Zealanders. Every day Kiwis.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Hard-working, everyday Kiwi. We are the common folk and I'll use that word again freely. We? Yes, we. Yes, we. I represent the common woman. Ask how much milk costs. If you want to tell you how you're job.
Starting point is 00:41:02 If you want to get into dairy, we can get into dairy. How much is a lot? Is a packet of Lee Hart Snack of Chang'is? I can tell you how much a packet of cigarettes is and it's a crime, Jack. That's not what we're debating today. That's not what we're debating today. $55, I have to pay. Now, we're not debating that.
Starting point is 00:41:16 We're talking about sex. Seriously, how much cigarettes are? $50. Haley, I don't even smoke, I can find that a disgraceful. Now, it's something we can finally agree on. Caput taxes on sex. Jack, I cannot imagine the patience it would take to run around two show ponies
Starting point is 00:41:34 who are just trying. trying to charm, right? They're trying to charm. I mean, it's not really about saying their policies, isn't. Well, there's a bit of policies. We didn't see a single thing about seats. I mean, I've got to be honest. They had more penis chat than I'm expecting in Chris v. Chris.
Starting point is 00:41:47 I'm sorry. So marginally more. Even though one of them looks a lot like a penis? I'm not going to ask which one. No, I won't say it. Could be a ginger penis. I'm just saying I don't discriminate. Could be.
Starting point is 00:41:56 I mean, that would honestly, for anyone concerned that there's, you know, this is an election race lacking any Riz. I mean, that would, it would get it risen. It would surprise the audience, which would be... Well, I'll be watching it mainly for you, Jack. The one news leader's debate is on tonight
Starting point is 00:42:14 from 7 o'clock on TVNZ1 Plus. It'll be streaming on TVNZ Plus. And also, just a little mention, the vote compass. You're still doing that? Yeah. Handy, if you don't know who you're voting for. Yeah, it doesn't align you to a party, right? You say your values and things that you agree with
Starting point is 00:42:29 and don't agree with and it tells you. And then it puts you on like a little continuum. And basically, everyone ends up getting really surprised. because everyone thinks there's something. And then they're like, well, no. Top is the classic. Or the best one is when you get the wokester who puts it in and then comes out with New Zealand first.
Starting point is 00:42:42 And they're like, oh, whoa, whoa. There's a glitch in the system. Are you doing a, the little fellas? Yeah, we're doing. We're doing it called the minor parties. Yeah, we've got. So next week we're doing the minor party. So Tova's going to do that.
Starting point is 00:42:56 And then we're going to do another minor parties one. The people's debate, actually, this could be a bit of you. So a couple of days before the election, we're going to do a people's debate. So we're going to get all the parties in, so all of them. Wow. And we're going to just take in questions from the public all over the country.
Starting point is 00:43:09 And we kind of kind of turn it to a Coliseum style. Oh, fuck for death. You could raise the cigarette prices. It is absurd. And we party d'artes will not stand for it, Jack. Well, good luck. Thank you. Thanks guys.
Starting point is 00:43:24 And kill it out there. Play Zat M's Fletch, Vaughn and Haley. It's so silly, silly, silly that the silly little pole So Little Pole today is as an adult You enjoy going on swings. We're on a swing at the weekend. So fun. A big one under a tree, it was like a rope with a little thing on the bottom.
Starting point is 00:43:58 It wasn't a set of swings, it was like a tree. Oh yeah, fun, rope swing. Yeah, rope swing into water elite. Rope swing off the side of a hill also elite. Yeah. But not as elite as being able to drop off into water should you heart desire. I wanted to build one in my house like at the back. It would be fun.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Just you know they get those big two wooden... Oh, you're doing like a set of swings. Like a barley swing. Yeah. You should just get a barley swing and then you could do photo shoots. I'd be like, I heart barley. Yeah. And then you're just AI and a barley and his background.
Starting point is 00:44:27 Save yourself a fortune. Money. Yeah. Well, as an adult, do you enjoy going on swings? 79% of people said yes. 21% said no. Do you think that's linked to some kind of childhood trauma? Dude, first message from Katie.
Starting point is 00:44:42 I accidentally tipped over one of those. A-frame backyard sets when I was young and that's lifelong trauma. Those did have to be in the ground. Like pegged in, like, pegged in, like, you were. Thin metal. Yeah. So if you could really get it going, we had one of those those, you know those two-seater swings that people sit
Starting point is 00:44:57 on each side of and you pump your legs and your arms? We called it a lullaby, but man, we used to get that thing going and the whole A-frame thing would be like, boom, boom, boom. Fun. The only time I feel light is on a swing, so I'll jump on any opportunity. Aaron said, I do it with my tiny nasal.
Starting point is 00:45:13 the time hurts my butt, but it's worth it for the silly giggles. Absolutely, I love all of the swings, wink, wink, wink, from Meg. Oh, Meg. Oh, Meg. Oh, Meg. We weren't manning adult swings. No. Meeg.
Starting point is 00:45:28 You'd have to have a solid wood door for those. Have you ever looked at those and thought, you know, the sort of hollow, cheap doors sometimes? You're not putting an adult one on the back of that, are you? No. Dan said, good morning, Shannon. I hope you have a great day. happy below deck Mediterranean finale day. That's not what we're talking about right now.
Starting point is 00:45:48 But then he goes on to say, I love a swing. My favourite of those ones you lie on and they have the loops for your feet. Oh my God, geez. Is he talking to sex swing as well? No, no, no, no, no, those like basket ones. Oh, I've never seen one with loops for your feet. Oh, it's real fun. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:00 I've yet to see one of those at the park, though. No, I think he's talking about it. Oh, Dan. Dan. Dan. Dan. An old lady regularly is on the swing at the park on my drive to work and it makes me so happy to do that says Kelsey.
Starting point is 00:46:14 That's actually just the nicest thing. That's the nicest thing. She's just sat down for a bit of fun swing. Either that or she just hasn't been able to get out all these weeks. She's stuck. She's stuck there. You might want to check next time she's stuck. She might be dead.
Starting point is 00:46:26 It might just be the wind. Yeah, God. She's got rigormortus. Even pushing someone on a swing messes with my motion sickness, says Beth. Oh, okay. Louise, it makes me very nauseous so I avoid them. Shea, I don't know what's going on with the inner ears after 30, but as shit goes downhill, I get so dizzy on swings.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Oh, so dizzy on swings. Well, we ask you, swing me daddy, says Julie. Oh, Julie. I'm so sorry, I merely regret, but not enough that I didn't hit send. Swing me, Daddy, swing me. As an adult, do you enjoy going on swings? 79% of you love the swings. The Z&M Podcast Network.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Play Zat M's Fletchhorn and Haley. Oh, 800 dollars at M, and you can text through 9-696. How did you get back at a cheater? Yeah. So this is a whole situation. Now, her name is Bailey Scarlett. She is the girlfriend of George Armstrong who was a fitness influencer. He has many, many, many, many, many followers.
Starting point is 00:47:23 So like 309,000 followers on Instagram alone. That's heaps. Okay? And it was on his Instagram story that she posted these. That she posted a series of slides written in the first person about like, I'm a dirty cheater. This is what I've done. I've hired escorts.
Starting point is 00:47:41 One of the who wild claims was, I masturbate to pornography. Oh, no. Shocker. I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sorry. Who would even do that? No, but a lot of cheating claims
Starting point is 00:47:56 that obviously she's made some discoveries. She was paying for it in Indonesia. Yeah. She was upset. And so she got into a social, and posted a some scathing thing to his 300,000 followers. So we're saying we've got to mess on our hands
Starting point is 00:48:14 because since we discussed the story early this morning, we're like, wait, there's more. He posted something being like, I've been hacked and I lay with Christ. 16 hours ago, I've got it here. Oh, you do? Yeah, because you thought it did it. I found it here. It has. It's disappeared.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Like every good man caught up in a sex scandal, he's turned to God. He said, God's plans. I've been humiliated publicly like Jesus on the cross, but I'm not hiding from anyone. I've been through worse and I'll get through this and I'll walk with my head held high and then there's a bit more God stuff
Starting point is 00:48:45 and God will judge me and a bit more God stuff and then he said, so what I'm doing, I'm doing what I know and I teach no drugs, no alcohol, 5 a and wake-up's prayer again, there's God again being dragged into it. God's like, leave me out of this man. But plenty of prozzies.
Starting point is 00:48:57 That was one of her big claims is he doesn't practice what he preaches on his social media. Yeah, so he's like wellness, healing, goodness and she's like, you're a dirt bag. But she also now has just posted. So all that's been removed, all of her stuff that she uploaded. Not before it was all your screenshot by the internet.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Yeah. So she said last night I posted a statement irrationally without thinking. She's full of regret. And apparently she's redacted the timeline of things that she was accusing him, but not the accusations themselves. She's like, no, you cheated, but maybe you didn't she in October. Or something like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:38 I regret my actions deeply sorry, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, mental state. She's claiming mental health. He's claiming Jesus. It's very easy, isn't it? Everyone's claiming something. That made a mess of it. But we want to know how did you get back at the cheater. Maybe you did hack into something.
Starting point is 00:49:52 We're not going to judge you. You can call anonymously. I've got a grotty one. I think I've told this on here before. My friend discovered that this was when we were like 17, 18, I think. Discovered that her boyfriend had cheated on her. So she went over to his house. house. I think we had stolen a real estate sign and put it all around his bedroom. And then
Starting point is 00:50:11 she wiped his towels on her penis. That's sort of where we came to. Right. Okay. It was the revenge. And we left being like, he's going to wipe his face on the bum towels. The colour of the towels? Like a beige? Just like a... So it would hide a sort of a light smear? Right. I don't think there was smearage. I think she just knew that with her bum towel. Right. But, you know, however petty, or how extreme it was, or maybe you did, you know, deal for deal. You were like, well, I'll go and have some fun of my own.
Starting point is 00:50:45 I mean, and that's the thing. When you find out, you're very emotional. Very enraged. You're not thinking straight. No. Maybe you did post something. Maybe there was spray cans involved. Maybe it was, you know, writing.
Starting point is 00:50:54 I don't know. Well, maybe you just know of this happening. You don't have to have done it yourself. Yeah. Oh, 800 dials at Emazan number. Give us a call. You can text through 966. How did you get back at the cheater?
Starting point is 00:51:04 and we've received a number of phone calls that God, we would love to air but we can't because the way that you got back at a cheetah was so problematic. Yes. We've had a giggle off air, but that's just for us. Okay, let's go to the messages. So there's a famous influencer, 300,000 followers on Instagram. He was hacked by his girlfriend who he cheated on,
Starting point is 00:51:24 and she just went ballistic on his socials being like, I'm a cheater, I hire sex workers, I do this. And he's like, in the name of Jesus, I've been embarrassed publicly. but Jesus prevailed, so will I. There's a lot going on in here. Now, the one that I was like, that would be so annoying, Angel, is I found that my boyfriend cheated on me, so I got into his emails and changed all of his passwords
Starting point is 00:51:46 to his important accounts. How annoying. It's so like, it feels minor. Yep. But that would really screw up. It's illegal, too. Somebody said, I wonder if that, um, that is actually.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Digital harms communications act or something. When I said, Angel, her name's actually Sissomangle. Somangle. Somangle. Somebody said, I wonder if you're going to hear from that lady in Porirua who cut off her husband's penis to stop him cheating. Oh, yeah. This is a couple of months ago, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:12 No. Yeah, 2026, 2nd of August, the New Zealand Herald story. Just a little bit of synergy there. Where's my bell? Porirua woman partially cuts off husband's penis to stop him cheating. She believed this was the way to get him to stop. Well, it would. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:28 We can cheat with his hands now. Yeah, hand stuff. Do mouth stuff, I guess. You could do mouth stuff, actually. She might want to cut that off as well. Cut the mouth off. My old friend sleep with my boyfriend at the time, so I ripped all her car door handles off.
Starting point is 00:52:42 She never knew it was me. How can you rip off a car door handle? I think a woman's rage knows no bounds of strength, and I think I could crank that thing off. Anonymous, joins us. Anonymous, good morning. How did you get back at a cheetah? Good morning.
Starting point is 00:52:57 So I found out that my boyfriend of four years had changed on me. And his card was saved to my Google. Oh, it's credit card. And the Google pay. Okay, yeah, nice. Yeah, his little Google Pay. So, to be petty, I signed him up for multiple marathons. A marathon series.
Starting point is 00:53:17 And I paid the deposit and I got all the bibs sent to him. And then, because I was like, I'm not done, I bought him multiple appointments, like doctors appointments, no-show fee cancellations, and I signed him up to charities. Oh, wow. Actually, Anonymous, the charity thing's really good. I thought, you know what am I? You've done one for the...
Starting point is 00:53:37 What are you going to do? You're going to call the SPCA and say, I don't care about animals? Yeah. That is real. Did he ever hit you up about it? He tried to hit up one of my friends, but they just laughed about it.
Starting point is 00:53:51 They're like, I have no idea. She would never do that. That's not her character at all. Yeah, yeah. Unlike you who cheated. You're a cheated to punk and either. Anonymous, amazing. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:54:01 because it is Tico Tuesday today, we've got $50 from Taco Bell for you. Congratulations. Woo-hoo! We're eating good, guys. Taco Tuesday running all week. You can get two tacos for five bucks. Oh, my God. So many people are just saying, and there's multiple from both men and woman,
Starting point is 00:54:18 when their girlfriend or boyfriend chitted on them, they went and hooked up with their best friend. So many. And whose best friend would do that? I know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait, that sounded guilty. Yeah, that sounded like. guilty. No, I was trying to figure out in my head
Starting point is 00:54:33 what that looks like. It sounded guilty. I cheated on Mike and then so Mike sleeps with... It's sort of humorous. It's humorous. Then I think it speaks volumes to me even though I'm a cheetah-chita pumpkin eater that my best friend, Jess, wasn't a very good best friend all this time. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:49 I dogg when... It hasn't happened. You're waking up like you've had a dream and it's real. He's going to text her. You're angry at her now. Yeah. You're kind of dragging the dream feelings into real life. Morning bitch. How are you? I dobed him into the IRD for all the cash construction jobs he was doing. Oh!
Starting point is 00:55:07 I mean, that's just being a good Samaritan. Back in the day when my mum found out my dad had cheated on her, she put sugar in his motorbike petrol tank. What does that do? That'll ruin it. Really? It ruins everything. That'll really get you.
Starting point is 00:55:19 What if you use? Socro. Yeah. I don't know. Equals. A couple of sack tabs in there. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Tablets. Mum's little. A couple of them's special equals. Oh my God, someone messaged in. They went to high school with the woman who we were originally talking about. Really? Who outed her partner and they said she was a real bully at high school. So there's a part of me that's quite glad this has happened.
Starting point is 00:55:46 How that, what? She didn't, this isn't a New Zealand woman. Yeah, she is. Okay, so that's the Bailey. So someone messaged saying, oh, she grew up in Eastport. Oh. Which is where I grew up. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:55:55 Okay. Bailey, Bailey. Okay. I think she's younger than VA. When I saw Bailey from Eastbourne, I thought, They just misspout Haley. Yeah, just someone texting him about, Hayley's from Eastbourne.
Starting point is 00:56:05 And I was like, yes, that's right. Wild story. Yeah. Oh no, my friend. Did you read this eggs one? No. My eggs, not X. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:16 Eggs from a chickens, Kloaka. My friend put eggs in her exes letterbox recently. The eggs expired in April. He posted on his Instagram, a video of him eating them whole and raw. Hang on. If they expired in April, that'd be... Oh, well, long gone. That'd be rank.
Starting point is 00:56:34 Oh, yuck. A co-worker friend of mine had her boyfriend shed on her with someone that worked at a fast food place. Oh, yeah. So my co-worker went to the girls' work, got a refill cart, filled it with Spright and threw it at her face. That's sticky. That's a whole lot.
Starting point is 00:56:49 They hear is sticky. It's sort of also bordering on physical abuse, isn't it? Would it be sticky if it's sprite zero? Again, you've got artificial... You got out of artificial sweetness creptat. Yeah, okay. Either way, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:05 Go fill sugar if you're going to assault somebody with a soft drink. For the stickiness. I found out through a friend that worked at a bar that she was cheating, grabbed a tractor, drove down to her house while she was out, painted the panels of her car with cheetah, cheetah, along with other unmentionables
Starting point is 00:57:21 and put the car up on the roof of her rental for advertising. Do you know what? When you said the tractor, I was like, I wonder what I'm going to do with that tractor? So they wrote cheetah and they put it on the roof. And put it on the roof. Please tell me there's photos of this.
Starting point is 00:57:34 There's got to be photos of that. I found it at the friend was training. So we went and painted the car and put it up and put it on the roof. That's so extreme. Yeah. I shat on his car when he cheated on me. Interesting. Mind you, I was pregnant.
Starting point is 00:57:46 I mean, that was Amber Heard member. She's shaned the bed to get back at. Johnny Depp. Yeah. I sprayed his lawn with weed killer. I wrote, I'm a scumbagged seaweed. It's a lot of, um... My mom etched loser.
Starting point is 00:57:59 to my dad's custom painted bike tank and then blame my toddler until I pointed out that the toddler can't spell. I feel so tame. Did you read that? I feel really tame. The only thing I did was use a card for Uber Eats. The card was hooked up to my Uber account. So you're not meant, I'm getting
Starting point is 00:58:18 pizza. Oh yeah, we get some Taco Bell. Lovely. On Taco Tuesday. I'm Taco Tuesday. The Zen Am Podcast Network. Fact of the day, day, day, day. Day.
Starting point is 00:58:42 It's lie week, all this week in fact of the day. And fact of the day is brought to you by St. Pierre's fact that I associate the day is eight pieces of salmon, Supreme. For $8.40. It's very professional. That one is probably really good. No nights. Thanks. I'm getting there.
Starting point is 00:58:58 How long is it taken? How long have they got left? Honestly, at the end of this week, are they done? Is this week three, four of us? He got there, he's a professional. But look how good the brain. It's like trained the brain. I know, but that's the problem when we stop.
Starting point is 00:59:11 It's always going to have to stop down and think whether or not we're doing it. Well, you need to have some more of that salmon's a prine. Yeah. It's got good omega-3s in it. I had some good salmon recently. I really felt the omega-3s and 6 is coursing through me. Really? Yeah, lovely.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Should get some pills, but I just don't. The burps afterwards. It's no good for me. That's why the salmon's good. Okay, carry off. Any tips for cooking it? Eight minutes here, fry. Okay, maybe seven.
Starting point is 00:59:32 I'll never remember it. Seven? Yeah, sometimes I go seven. You freak a little bitch. I like it to flake from top to bar. Oh, do you? Yeah, I don't like a little bit of moisture in the middle of my salmon. No.
Starting point is 00:59:42 Right, today we're talking about the Potemmpton Village. You ever heard of a Potemkin village? No. It's named for Gregory Potemmpegian, who was a minister of the Russian Emperor Catherine II. And he was also her lover. One of her lovers. Now the Potemkin Village is that's modern meaning as a construction literal or figurative that provides a facade to a situation to make you believe that the situation is far better than it actually is.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Dumb that down. That was a bit heavy for me. Okay. It's like a very physical, straight up example would be whacking a lick of paint on a heap of shit house. So people are like, that's a nice house. That's a Patemkin village. Nice. Shout up to the people that bought my last house.
Starting point is 01:00:26 Exactly. Like a paint. Like a paint. hide many a sins. So it basically comes from the fact that Gregory Potemkin, the field marshal and lover of Catherine the Great, was impressing her during her visit to the Crimean Peninsula in 1787. Now the Crimean Peninsula, if you're familiar with the whole history of Russia, ongoing issues. Yes. Ongoing issues in the Crimean Peninsula. Well, they had just annexed the Ottoman Empire from the Crimean Peninsula. Russia had taken it over. And Gregory was like, come and see what a
Starting point is 01:00:57 wonderful job I'm doing. Right. Here on the Cromand Peninsula, you can do a river tour, down the Denepea River, and you can see how well we're doing, and why I need extra funding to defend it from the Ottomans who may be invading again soon. Now, they're the people that may at the stalls. They are, yes. Yep.
Starting point is 01:01:15 See, I know history. Yeah, they're beautiful. The little foot puffs. Yeah, the little... Foot puffs. You're not allowed to call them puffs. And no, I would say an Ottoman's a bigger puff. A puff, I would say, is for the foot.
Starting point is 01:01:25 An Ottoman can be... A large of... A magazine. Maybe some other things. But not, would you store something inside an ottoman? You can. You can have storage iron. Can you store stuff in a puff?
Starting point is 01:01:34 In a poof? You can store heaps in a puff. Man, you'd be surprised how Kavanais a poof can be. Sometimes you look at a puff and be like, that's not going to hold a lot. Yeah, but then you're shocked. And it does. And you're like, far out. And you're like, it's happened a lot, actually.
Starting point is 01:01:46 It happens a lot. So he said, come for a river tour. I don't ever get away with that. See what? That wasn't even subtle. No, it wasn't. That's why I moved on. They've got a lid. You open them up.
Starting point is 01:01:57 They've got a lid. Space inside. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what we're talking about. What are you, man? Exactly. Exactly. So I'll come and see what we've built.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Do a little trip down the river. Nice. See what we built and see why I need extra money to defend it. Beautiful. So he constructed what was known as the Bertemptkin village, which was like, she would pull in, she'd go through and he'd be like, here's one of our villages, don't look too close, don't stop, just wave to the peasants. It'll take to get it.
Starting point is 01:02:21 Yeah, smoke and mirrors. Smoke and mirrors. Smoke and mirrors. She'd be like, lovely. He's like, I've got a lovely corner around that we'll anchor up for the night. And we'll relax. She anchors up, draws the curtains. He's like, take it all down, take it all down, take it all down.
Starting point is 01:02:36 They take down their little fake village, put it on a boat, sail it past her, and set it up again. That's good. And he's like, I tell you what, if you love yesterday's village, you're going to love today's village. They get sail and they go through and she goes again. And he's like, don't look too close. Don't look too close. Just wave at the peasants. She might have at some stage to say, I think I saw that peasant yesterday.
Starting point is 01:02:53 And they'd be like, ah, they will look the same. I recognize his hook nose. Wave, wave, wave. And so they basically, every night when she stopped, they'd take down the village, put it on barges, sail it past her in the middle of the night, chuck it up again just as the facade. Like a movie set. Yeah. So she was like, we're really established a lot down here. He's like, exactly.
Starting point is 01:03:10 See what I've done. So I need more money to defend it because what he actually needed the money for was to build it. Oh. Sort of a show home kind of environment. Just a show home facade of it. There was nothing behind them. And she was so thick that she didn't realize this was happening. She was thick.
Starting point is 01:03:29 So thick as big. Yeah, right. Maybe they were a bit foggy at the time. Yeah. And so she would sell it on this river and she saw multiple. You know, in her tea or something like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was probably drugging her.
Starting point is 01:03:40 It was back in the 1700. So it totally would have been, you know, by the buy to. It's quite impressive, though. Like people who go to this kind of extent to lie, there's some kind of merit to it for the impressive effort. The effort of lying. So there's some. examples of it.
Starting point is 01:03:57 The North Korean Peace Village was completely just a facade of houses. In North Korea we were using it as, it was inside the demilitarized zone and they said there's hundreds of families living in here, but there wasn't. They just came in facades, cheap facades of the thing and some people walking around just for some propaganda.
Starting point is 01:04:15 And yeah, you see it. Less of a situation, but when they hide, like in America, you know, in California they've got oil rigs in California, but they've got houses built around the oil rig, so you don't know it's an oil rig. I didn't know that. Yeah, that's one of them as well.
Starting point is 01:04:32 I'm not living in one of those houses. No, well, no one lives in one of those houses. It's kind of fake villages. Oh, I see. Yeah. So, um, also the Truman Show, Potemkin Village. Yeah. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:04:41 So today's fact of the day full lies is that once, in the 1700s, Grigory Potemkin just made a mobile village and tricked her Catherine into thinking it was many, many village. Fact of the day, day, day, day, day, day. Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do. The Fletch morning Haley, big pod.
Starting point is 01:05:13 I'm getting organised. It's like tax time. It's GST time. It's provisional tax. A lot of money and accounting stuff on my money. mind at the moment. And as part of that, I'm opening a new business account and just trying to make better decisions. And to do this, I had to go into the bank yesterday. I'm a member of two banks. I'd like to spread it out. Oh, do you? Shoe around. Keep him warning. Keep him waiting.
Starting point is 01:05:38 And I went to A&Z yesterday to give ID in person, you know? Because I think, actually pronounced ANS. Oh my God, this whole time. I've had this account since that's nine years old. There's Ans, there's Bins. Ansbens, ASP. TISP in Kiwi Bank. So I went into ends With the sexy sheep The hot sheep And I would I saw an ad for that sheep
Starting point is 01:05:58 He sat down on the bus After I left work And I was like Yeah It's a hot It's far as sheep go If I had to have The shape
Starting point is 01:06:06 It'd be that one It'd probably be that one Or Sean the sheep Yeah Yeah Is that a bit gay Sean the sheep Yeah a little
Starting point is 01:06:12 I don't mind I don't know that I don't think AN's has a mascot That I'd want To have sex with No problem with Having sex with an anthraithymomorphic
Starting point is 01:06:20 Sheep It's just the gender of it's worry. 966. If you had to, which bank mascot? The helicopter from Westpac, the cash in the elephant from ANZ. No, from ASB. Oh yeah, that elephant's for ASS.
Starting point is 01:06:34 Is ASB. No, ASB's also got that couple as being a thruple with them an option. Yep, absolutely. Probably go with that just to keep it, you know. The Kiwi Bank sheep. Yeah. Or, what's Can I goldstein? Can I go back in time and sleep with Goldstein? You're not allowed of retro character. I'm still with Goldstein's boss.
Starting point is 01:06:50 Goldstein. Goldstein. Go to New Zealand and find out what makes their banks so good. Anyway. Why are they more sexy bank? Sex sells. The bank's not getting on board with a bit of that. A&Z mascot.
Starting point is 01:07:02 It's just a flower, isn't it? No, there's no kind of... Okay. So I don't want to have sex with that. Flower. Okay, right. Oh, it's just sort of like a weird bird. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:12 And a plus. Anyway, so I'm at A&Z. Not looking for anything like that. I'm just there to show a passport and whatnot. And I've got to deal with this lovely woman. and she's there, but older, like she'd be maybe older than my mum but younger than my grandparents. Yeah, grandparents, I hate to remind you that your grandparents are dead.
Starting point is 01:07:32 Yeah, so she's younger than them. She's younger than dead. Younger than dead, but older than mother. Older than retiree. And she's there, and I'm dealing with her and, you know, chatting about this, and I've got to do this form for this account. She's like, oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely. And I just clock her, and she's got quite fair, like grey blonde hair
Starting point is 01:07:47 and beautiful blue eyes, and she just looks stunning. Oh, God, so you told her. Well, no, no, the reason I think her eyes were singing so beautifully was the gorgeous blue cardigan she was wearing. It was a lovely colour of blue. Like, you think of A&Z, you know that blue. It wasn't that blue. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:08:04 It was a beautiful kind of muted, marly kind of, I just haven't seen that blue before. It was, I don't know, it was like a dusty blue. Yeah, okay, okay, Jesus Christ. It's blue. It's a dusty, gorgeous blue. Don't we don't need any more ejectors. This is blue.
Starting point is 01:08:19 Guys are always like, it's blue. And then women are. always like, it's beautiful. A shade of... No. You've got to be specific about the color. It's important to the story. Says the guy whose t-shirt, I wouldn't even know what color that is. I bought that for you.
Starting point is 01:08:33 You got me this. I'd say it was black. Now it's starting to look green. Almost orange brown. You know, like it's getting... Almost like he bleach washed it. I may have. You may have. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:45 So I say to her... I may have cleaned the drum of the washer machine, but not adequately rinse the post. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, I think to myself, I don't have anything that blue in this wardrobe, and that would be a nice cardigan. And I was like, I just wanted to know where she got the cardigan. Maybe it was a max number. Maybe it was a country road or something like that.
Starting point is 01:09:01 I'll pop next door and I'll bloody grab it. Lovely blue. I think I'd look good in that blue. And I said, look, I love your cardion. Where did it come from? She looks down and she was like, well, it's just the ANZ one and it had the ANZ embroidered. It was just the company. You told us that it wasn't.
Starting point is 01:09:15 It wasn't ANZ blue. But it was in the ANZZ blue embroidered. She was wearing the same. staff issued cardigan. The staff issued Cartigan. You should see Haley at the warehouse. Now where did you get that striking red polo shirt?
Starting point is 01:09:30 God, excuse me Mr. Might a 10. That orange is stunning on you. Excuse me, I just need to ask you worry about something as in Bunnings but before I do where did you get that green? You're just green shirt. It was the company issued A&Z Cunning it and I'm gushed because I was like, that's a very
Starting point is 01:09:46 unique blue. Excuse me, doctor, just before you come up and this outfit you're in, this stunning green. They're stuming tail scrubs. Where did you purchase them? The Fletchborn and Haley Big Pod. The social battery is talked about
Starting point is 01:10:02 like how much socialising you can do. And this isn't just like partying. This can be like interacting with people in a professional manner. Like if you've got meetings, meetings, meetings. Being around humans, engaging. And then you're just like, my battery's drained.
Starting point is 01:10:15 I need to go home and be alone. So this is once a year for me. What? That my social battery feels drained. What? Yeah, maybe like once or twice a year. I'll be like, just need to step back from people. Really?
Starting point is 01:10:27 Not just leaving work? No, no, no. Because then I want to go and like hang out with people or... You do love social gatherings. I would be yours. Like you like having a good time, Vorney, but yours will quickly drain and then you won't need another big social occasion for a bit. Because I can have back on, back on back on back.
Starting point is 01:10:48 And if I don't have social interaction, I feel drained. Yes. So social exhaustion, when people say my battery's done, comes from things like sensory overload, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, or just being tired, like physically tired when you start the interactions.
Starting point is 01:11:05 So they're saying it's not so much a social battery as just being tired on a whole or being like overloaded. Yeah, everybody is. Yeah, overloaded. Tired and poor. I think a lot of people would equate it to being around people
Starting point is 01:11:21 but there's probably like nine million other things that have contributed. Physically tired, your heart rate can go up, tension and changes in breathing, because you're trying to like read the tones in people's voices, react to body language and social cues, monitoring yourself, staying alert to others. I don't monitor myself around people. Yeah, that's probably, yep, I'd say that agree. That's probably why mine doesn't deplete as fast. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:44 You know what I mean? Because I'm not really considering. You're not running all the systems. You're just kind of running your one system. Yeah, the ones are something, I want you to like me, but I'm not going to really... But the key to it, apparently, is doing it more often. Sounds terrible. It sounds like a dumb idea. But a therapist had a client who pulled away from everyone, ended up lonely, and when you're lonely, you're more tired.
Starting point is 01:12:03 Yeah. I think that, I mean, there's so many experiments over time that's like, even if you are a more reserved, reclusive person, if you don't have human connection, it has such a huge impact. It's why loneliness is such a horrible thing, and you get later in life, that that's one of the... main sort of, not killers, but you know, like things that cause people to be so upset. You don't have to tell me twice to socialise more. So they're saying if you want to get better at not feeling so exhausted by people, being around people more. And said, no, you've got to work out what situations and relationships drain you
Starting point is 01:12:38 and which ones help you and make more room for the good ones and set boundaries without isolating yourself with the other ones. Yeah, but imagine if you were like, the people that really drain me are the work, mate, so I guess I won't, you know. Turn up to work? Go to work, but I'll go to the party. on the week, and it doesn't quite work like that, doesn't. You've got to have some quality friends to socialise with.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That could be draining as well in a whole different way. Have you ever had that in the past? Because you get older and you kind of realize that you don't need as many friends, you just want quality friends. Yeah. And then you have these friendships that you've kind of kept up for the sake of keeping it up. And then you always come home, you're like, I feel a bit drained by that experience.
Starting point is 01:13:11 Are we talking about Vaughan again? Is he on here? No, he's right there. I actually kind of clocked out. I don't know. My battery ran out, so I was just went into, I went into low battery mode. You know, I went under 20%, so I flipped it into low battery mode. No background work, really.
Starting point is 01:13:27 No, you're not a draining friendship, but there are some friendships that it's like, if you leave and you feel drained and not fulfilled, I think that's one that you just got to cut loose, to be honest. Life's too short. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Fleshhorn and Haley. And we want to take your calls now and ask, what is your, like, go-to watch online or in your algorithm? algorithm ramming down your throat at the moment. No, but something that you like watch.
Starting point is 01:13:54 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know that's the thing the minute you start like and watching it and you like it and you share it to your friends, the algorithm's like, well, well, well. Maybe it's a bit left field. Yeah, because some of mine are really obvious and, like, fun. Like mine's furniture flipping at the moment, like someone getting an old dud chest of drawers and then sanding it lovingly and then making it look amazing. Oh, I thought you meant literally like someone just walking into a room and be like,
Starting point is 01:14:17 no, no, no, no. But yet then my other one is just like cutting sand And I just want to get some sand To sand to my own Sound to that one too, I think As it goes through the sand I'm actually going to shout out at Santagius If you're someone who's mind races
Starting point is 01:14:34 At Santagius And just watch some sandbin cuts Sometimes they get a ice cream scoop And a flat packed sand And they go I love those I love those Yeah, it's good stuff.
Starting point is 01:14:50 I also love rug washing. I was going to say munching. That's by the bite. Tabbled. Rug washing that they always cover these rugs. You know they didn't just find them in a swamp, but they cover these rugs in like dirt, dirt, and they just get them out,
Starting point is 01:15:04 and they've got their gumboots on. It's nice. I love watching those. Yes. I love them. I'm in pimple popping everyone loves, but for that's not a bit of you, is it? No, I'm not so into it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:14 Ingrown hairs, that was my. mine for a bit as well, hooking them out. Those are a bit of a right-hain when they take the top off them and then find the end of the hair. Oh, Olivia messaged in first-class experiences on planes. You know those when people were like, come with me or aboard the Etsy had. Because then you're never going to be, like those are like $25,000 flights. You're never going to go on that.
Starting point is 01:15:35 So why would you want to put yourself through watching? Says the guy who buys lotto. You know what I mean? You're never going to win that. But we dare to drink. We do, I mean, absolutely. And then when we win the lotto, we do the first-class trips. What we're expecting because we watch the video. And then we don't walk on to the Eddihad business class flight looking like losers that have never been there before.
Starting point is 01:15:52 We know because we'll watch the videos. We've watched the videos. Yeah. Okay, well, 0800 dials at M. Give us a call. You can text through 966966. This is going to like fill our algorithms. This is good.
Starting point is 01:16:01 Yeah. Guy who goes over to people's overgrown house. SB m mowers and lawns. Yeah. I'm just wondering what the story is with this property next door. Is anybody in there? Yeah. It's abandoned.
Starting point is 01:16:10 Oh, yeah. There's an old girl that lives on there, but she's deafening. Bang, bang, bang on the door to him. And why in the lawns for free? And then he does them for free. And he does it time, so he leaves the sound on. So the weed eater, which usually sounds like, it sounds like, zh, whee, it sounds like,
Starting point is 01:16:22 and it's like, the ones are like, oh, that's pretty good. Well, the reason we discusses is because people are enjoying watching somebody clean up New Zealand. Yeah. Brando is a guy who lives down on the Coramandel peninsula. He's a guy that went around New Zealand.
Starting point is 01:16:36 He did. He went all around New Zealand as a teenager. Yellovich. Yeah, walked around the circumference of New Zealand, walked around the perimeter. The coastline. The beach is... The coastline.
Starting point is 01:16:47 That's it. And so he just started it... And then totally right, the fly-tipping problem in New Zealand is insane. People just go to the middle of nowhere and unfortunately that's quite a beautiful section of New Zealand. I know. Is this the guy who like then goes through and tries to find them? He went through and found a whole lot of information from somebody. That's good.
Starting point is 01:17:05 That's so good. Actually, like, it's like a little bit of true crime as well. Yeah. Because then he was like seeing names and calling... Yeah, yeah, yeah, love, love. Let's go to Amy. Amy, what do you love watching online? Hey guys, how are you this morning? Really good, Amy.
Starting point is 01:17:22 That's good. So we're a farmer's, and I've got two little toddlers, so I hardly ever get time to go on Facebook. But the other day I went on, and I watched a full video of the hoof GP, so it was a guy trimming a cow's hoof. And they've got those little rotten bits in the hoof. Every time I go on to Facebook or Instagram, that's all that's on there is just people trimming a horse. or a cow hoof. Have you got into Nate the hoof guy?
Starting point is 01:17:46 He's like the OG. Nate the hoof guy. What is so satisfying about these videos? Dude, sometimes they get pussy. These hooves. When they get an abscess and just watching them clear it out and knowing they're doing a good job. Okay.
Starting point is 01:18:01 When they get that little scoop array, like the ice cream scuba. It must be so sharp. It must be so sharp that funny. Yeah, yeah. Honestly, I feel like I've watched enough videos now. I can probably go do the kids' pony seat. Because he, there was one I saw once and he was like, the cow's limping, we're not sure why
Starting point is 01:18:16 and he's like, my bet is there's an abscess down here and he started digging, gosh, it was so deep fling. Amy, we've got to pack it out. Amy, a $50 taco bow voucher for you. Congratulations. Every caller that gets on air with us today gets one of these. Misha, what is the videos that you just love to watch? Hi, how are you guys?
Starting point is 01:18:34 Really good. Thank you so much for asking. Yeah, thanks, Masha. That's good. I love on TikTok watching the coloring videos. with the really inky pens. Yes. And they layer them,
Starting point is 01:18:45 and it's like stripes, stripes, stripe, and they're so accurate. But when they go outside the line, that's not. They go to unfollow, block unfollow. Is it? Yeah. Do they use the pens that sound good on paper as well, those felt pens are going to.
Starting point is 01:18:59 Yeah. Yeah, they kind of grip the paper. That's nasty. Yeah. And then they like bleed as well. Oh, yeah. That's good stuff. Wait there, Mesa.
Starting point is 01:19:07 $50 Taco Bell voucher for you. Ella, good morning. Good morning, everyone. How are you going? What do you love watching? I swap between, my algorithm swats between the full episodes of 90-day-fiance or any of the spin-offs, which are absolutely addictive and amazing. Yep.
Starting point is 01:19:24 Or really graphic homebirth videos. Jesus Christ. So if I'm out of the public, what is going to pop up on my feet. Oh, my God. So you don't mind watching a full frontal homebirth? I'm, oh, I'm not fantastic. into it, but I'm very fascinated by it. Like a mooing woman in pain.
Starting point is 01:19:46 And you're like, yeah. Next video. When you said 90-day fiancé spin-offs, I was just like, that's a very basic premise. How could there be a spin-off? So there's 90-day fiancé UK, before the 90 days, the other way. Before the 90 days. What now? Happily.
Starting point is 01:20:02 After. There's like three-parts at the end. They have the last resort in case they're going to break up. They've got everything going. Oh, my God. Okay. God. That's full noise.
Starting point is 01:20:11 It's the right. Make sure you don't miss 90 Day Foodie Call was currently 3.4 stars out of 10 on IMDB. Well, wait there, $50 dollar Tango Bell voucher of you. Jamie, same for you. You get one. Good morning. What do you love watching online?
Starting point is 01:20:24 Morning, team. Morning. Morning. Hi. My brother and Lauren, I get really sucked into those AI videos. So like there's been like a Dragon King one or like the mermaid one
Starting point is 01:20:37 and it's just complete trash, but it's so addicting. I've just, they have not grabbed me for some reason and I know so many people addicted to those AI videos and they're like, what's the fruity ones, the horny fruit? You know, they're like, are they still making the horny fruit? I thought the person who made the original horny fruit stopped because of all the hate.
Starting point is 01:20:58 I don't know. I'm sure. I just saw a video where cats were playing the characters in Twilight, though. I don't believe that was real. I think that might have been. Tina, what do you love watching? Good morning, good morning I like watching these couples
Starting point is 01:21:14 and they buy it's like storage walls but for couples and they open like bank safe So they buy these safes and they don't know what's inside them Exactly and they could buy it for $10,000 or something And they might get $5,000 in it They could buy a safe for $50,000 and they'll get 300,000 It's amazing. It's so addictive.
Starting point is 01:21:42 Is this a reality show? Because you know that Storage Wars was rigged day. They came out and said that was rigged. They put all these things in this. No, these are just general couples. Like, you know, you and your father. Yeah, okay. And you just, they buy them and then they open them.
Starting point is 01:21:59 And it takes about, you know, a good hammer, a wrench, a drill, a saw to open them. Oh, I love this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. I need to start watching those. Thank you. We'll hook you up with $50 Taco Bell voucher. It's Taco Tuesday.
Starting point is 01:22:13 It's Taco Tuesday. Steph, what video do you love watching? What videos? Oh, I love watching. People make outdoor furniture out of pallets. Oh, okay. Have you got outdoor furniture made of pallets? Yeah, we attempted to make a whole table and chairs,
Starting point is 01:22:30 but so far we've only got two sort of bench seats. Right, because I love when the Duned and Uni students make a, what do you call it, like a terrace seat? Like a grandstand Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, out of palettes. That's good. Are you planning on making more of these pallet furniture or you've done with the benches?
Starting point is 01:22:49 No, no, I'd love to keep going. How did you get them apart without the wood breaking because the nails have got to screw in them that are quite, do you have one of those special palette pull or aparters? Oh, you've got to split them right down the middle. Okay, yeah. Sorry, Steve, he doesn't know. Oh, you're cutting, no, no, because then you're not getting the length.
Starting point is 01:23:06 No, but then you can't get to length. That's rookie. rookie era. Seth Waite there will hook you up with a $50 Taco Bell voucher. Belinda, you get our last $50 Taco Bell voucher. Because today it's National Taco Day at Taco Bell. You can grab two tacos for $5. What do you love watching, Belinda?
Starting point is 01:23:22 Oh, hi, good morning. Yes, I love watching cooking videos, especially healthy videos. Oh, okay. You blend cottage cheese with a bit of, I think it's parmesan cheese, and you can make a flat bread or a pizza. But the sad thing is, I often really don't get to make any of these things,
Starting point is 01:23:41 but I absolutely love just all the cooking, healthy cooking videos. Belinda, I've literally got hundreds of videos saved on Instagram under recipes I will make. I'll never make it. I'll make five of them tops. And I'm going to tell you, Belinda. So you're with me on this one. Yeah, but if you, you know, I just don't think that that cottage cheese, Parmesan bread's going to be as good as you want to.
Starting point is 01:24:00 I think the fantasy is better. I reckon don't make it. Do you want, that healthy idea is, looks are very appealing. Yeah, the idea that South will shred the fat off. 100%. Ah, Belinda, thank you. Okay, it's incredible. Too many messages.
Starting point is 01:24:16 I think all we're doing is sitting on our phones. Well, we do love wasting time online, don't we just want to tune out of the world. Okay, so what is about somebody said, what about those silicon rolling videos where they start putting in like little dots of color? Yes. And the silicon machines rolling it around and then they blend it. And then you're like, what color is this? Then I'm like, put your hand in there. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:35 Someone's shirt gets caught in there and they get dragged through the machine. Then I'll tell you what's the colour of the silicon. It'll be blood red. The ZM Podcast Network. Play ZM's Flashborn and Haley. Definitely been... You put that package down on my doorstep. Sorry, my security card just says someone who's at my house.
Starting point is 01:24:53 Now, I've definitely been guilty of this before where you really want to sell yourself. You guys know this because you know me, probably better than most men in my life. But you want to sell yourself as a really cool, like low-key, low-fast, low-maintenance, girlie? Yes. I think there was a period of time where neediness or being a bit much
Starting point is 01:25:12 became a bit unfashionable. So all of us were like, we don't really need, I don't know, I'm chill, like I don't need much. I'm really low maintenance. And then that kind of translated into dating world. We're like, I don't really need anyone who's going to like need me too much or sort of be around or like fuss or like I don't want to need or I had to ask anything of them. And then in return, you know, it'll be the same and it's low maintenance. So everyone wanted a low-maintenance relationship for a while
Starting point is 01:25:38 until they get in it and then they realise that actually low-maintenance kind of makes it feel like low effort. You can't ask for anything, you're not getting anything quite unfulfilling, is the general experience. Even just asking what's for dinner can be. Yeah, you're like, oh God, I can't do that anymore.
Starting point is 01:26:00 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So then when you, which is a normal thing to want in a relationship, it wants something like reassurance or like a bit of stability, then you're like now you're feeling like you're not being low maintenance or cool, you're not being, you're being insecure, and if you want to be time, then you feel like you're being clingy, if you're being caring or, you know, wanting to be on or an anniversary, maybe you're being too much or maybe you're being demanding.
Starting point is 01:26:23 And it kind of gets thrown back in their face and they're like, I don't want low maintenance at all. I want high princess treatment maintenance at the moment. I want more, more, more, more. I don't know if I, like, because I definitely wasn't planning on getting into a new relationship ever again in my life is going to die alone quite happily. Really, that's like, that's the plan. Yeah, with 18 cats. 18 cats, a whole bunch of debt that I've got no kids, no partner, so, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:26:49 Like, I don't know whose problem that is, but it certainly ain't mine. And then meeting someone, I think I definitely went into the new relationship like, keep it low key. Yeah. You know? But then when you just, I don't know, you get feelings for someone. you have to be able to ask for things. So low-maintenance relationships are not, I think, as good as they appear on the outside.
Starting point is 01:27:11 Right. Is this shocked you in any way? You've got nothing to say about that? You've done a great job making yourself sound like a handful in the last. Yeah. Oh, no. I don't think I needed a real... Just sort of a re-establishment of being a lot.
Starting point is 01:27:25 I don't think there's anything low-maintenance about me other than my eyebrows, because they grow quite naturally. Right, do they? Yeah. That's a nice problem to not have to worry about. Yeah, thank you. Congratulations. Yeah, thanks very much.
Starting point is 01:27:37 Fletch, you, were your relationships, you'd love a high, you'd love a high maintenance relationship. You'd love a needy person. I'm happy actually. They needed a lot from you and wanted to give you a lot. No, but go the other way. Can you imagine Fletch being needy in a relationship? No.
Starting point is 01:27:54 I can imagine people trying to be needy with you. And you're not having any time for it. You know. Yeah. I told you. Last week I loved you. Don't ask again. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:04 I told you the first time and that just sort of covers us until I will tell you on your own love with you. They get home. Fletcher's made dinner for himself. Well, I don't know. Is there any for me? Well, you didn't tell me you were going to be home for dinner. Yeah, I don't know what time you were going to be home for dinner. Like you kind of said, you know, you work every day at the same hours.
Starting point is 01:28:19 But it's far back from me to presume you were going to be home for dinner. No, yeah. It's just, it's just a, I just have the cat. And that's, makes his half of the bed? Yep. Oh my God, yes. Makes his half of the bed? I just.
Starting point is 01:28:30 Please, his mess but leaves someone else. Wait, what does this turn on ragging on me? It's Hayley's high maintenance. You do your dishes and not your own. You do your dishes and not theirs? I'm not doing your dishes. Do you know what? They say people are getting confused between low maintenance and low drama. What you want is low drama. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:45 But we think it's low maintenance. But low drama, not low maintenance. It's okay to want maintenance. Yeah. But drama, what are you laughing at? Who messaged you? No, I just got a message. Can confirm.
Starting point is 01:28:56 Can confirm. Is this from an X? No, no. Just, why am I getting roasted? You're the high-maintenance one. No. No, but I've never claimed to be anything else. You know, they get home from work on Friday and they message Fletch, where are you?
Starting point is 01:29:09 He's like, Melbourne, why? Yeah. Or just like none of your business? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll see you when I see you. Just turn off, mine friends. See you Monday. The Z&M Podcast Network.
Starting point is 01:29:19 What's going on? ZM's Fletch, Vaughn and Haley. There's been a link between happiness. Something in happiness. Something and happiness. And do you know what that study is? Fri chicken. Fried chicken.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Oh, actually, though. You know what? Yes, that would work for me. If someone came in right now, my happiness, I'd say, is just sitting quite, it's like medium, it's good, am I having a nice day?
Starting point is 01:29:41 Someone came in with a platter of fried chicken. If they came in with donuts or chocolate? No, I'm okay. Fried chicken, though. What about the perfect apple? Yeah? When you're not expecting it. When you bite into an apple,
Starting point is 01:29:53 when you're like, I really want an apple, you're like, far out. Perfect apple. Bag of lollies. I try a new brand of apple today. A new, what brand? Make?
Starting point is 01:30:01 Yeah, like a new model, make and model. It was a Subaru. 2.0. No, I can't remember the name of it. I saw it and I was. You can't come on and talk about, was it a good apple? Yeah. Well, then you need to know.
Starting point is 01:30:13 It had this weird, like the skin had a weird, a bump to it. Oh. I know. A bumpy skin. That's what I was like. Or waxy. No, not waxy. No one dry.
Starting point is 01:30:24 Well, apples. Crisp. People aren't getting janced up about an apple. Jazz apples. That's a kind of, that's a brand of apple. I'll stop with the fruit and veg shop today and see what the apple was called. Good. Come back to us tomorrow when you can complete the story.
Starting point is 01:30:35 I think it's a riveting break tomorrow. Yeah. What was the name of the apple? New apples. No, the global study has revealed a surprising secret to human happiness, and it is the cat. Yeah. Though, yes, my cat, Rolly, is the joy of my life.
Starting point is 01:30:50 Someone actually messaged me yesterday. Oh my God. What? Fletch. What? We've got beef. Why have I got beef? I'm about to start some beef with you.
Starting point is 01:30:57 Why? What did you do? It didn't come from me. It didn't come from me, so don't even make a messenger. What's the beef? Well, I posted a little photo of Rolly on my Instagram, and it always pops off because he's so cute. And then a listener message man was like,
Starting point is 01:31:11 you totally need to make Raleigh an Instagram. And I was like, yeah, so I just have never even thought of doing it. She was like, I totally follow that. He's way cuter than Major Mars. He's not, though. He's a mangy little cat. Way cuter than your purebred cat is my, $5 plastic bag one.
Starting point is 01:31:30 My cat does tricks. Your cat just sits there. I didn't say it. She said it. Wow. But the reason I'm talking about Rolly is he does bring me such joy and such happiness. But I pre-leaving the house this morning in the 4 o'clock hour of my day, 4 a.m hour. Two spews from the sky.
Starting point is 01:31:47 What on what surface? One was wood. Perfect. That's fine. God bless you. Easy wipe. One was half heavy loop carpet onto the metal. bit that goes on to the wood.
Starting point is 01:32:00 I've got a three surface. It's getting under the... I've got a high loop carpet, the bastard. So that didn't bring you happiness. But so this was a 93 country investigation that connected. The countries with higher cat densities were
Starting point is 01:32:14 happier. There was one exception was higher exposure to toxoplasm Gandhi, which is the parasite that cats carry. With their feces, it's really bad for pregnant woman, it can make you go crazy. It's been linked to
Starting point is 01:32:30 the crazy cat lady. That's why if you've got like, oh, I've got a cat litter box, like always wash your hands after no, I limp, dang it. Yeah, I wash them with my tongue. Like my cat. Cats are washing the south of the tongue, I'll do the same. Apparently the United States
