Starting point is 00:00:00 From the Zedium podcast network, it's Fletchforn and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to a little bit of pod. Celebrity siding, celebrity siding. Doop boop do do do do do do, do celebrity siding. Yeah, you just got back from Melbourne and you saw Lady Gaggaar. I did. Producer Cowan. But it wasn't Lady Gurgar that you saw.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Well, she did see her. Yeah, but that does the same time as thousands and thousands of others. But that doesn't count as a celebrity siding when you go to a concert. Oh, doesn't it? You have to see them at the rear of the venue, like outside. Oh, yeah. Or you like meet them, or meet them at the airport or, you know, meet them in the city somewhere.
Starting point is 00:00:40 You can't just say you've seen a celebrity in concert. It doesn't count. Well, that sucks. Now I've just lost all of my celebrity sightings from my life. Have you not seen a new rule? Is that not a fair rule, though? That's crazy. Of course it's a fair role.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Of course, you're going to go to a concert. I've stripped my list. I have, I spotted so many celebrities. Everybody's because I was watching television. Yeah, exactly. It doesn't count. Oh, they don't count either. Okay, whatever.
Starting point is 00:01:06 No, you had a real one. I did. When I was landing in Melbourne, I obviously was not in the, like, weird little kind of business class. But, like, on those planes, it's, like, fancy but not really. You know what I'm saying? What airline were you on? Quantith. Oh, yeah, they have the business classics, but they're littler.
Starting point is 00:01:25 They're like, just for the trans Tasman. Yes, yes, yes. They're not like life late. just bigger seats. And also, like, why make them board first? Because then we have to, like, the cattle have to, like, go past them. Oh, yes. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:01:37 Yeah, look at them. Do you know, I've flown Can'tas business class once before. Cantas. Yeah, Cantas. I was being flown over for a production, and then my flight got cancelled, and that was the only flight they could get me on, and there was only business class seats left. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:01:49 Oh, yeah. And can I ask, how did you feel when you boarded first and everybody looked at you? Superior, better, greater, at home, holier than now, just excellent where I belong where I was always meant to be I was born this way this feels right something clicked
Starting point is 00:02:06 I landed but yes I know those seats they're just like kind of like a lounge chair they're two and then two yeah and so obviously we walked past they're like a big movie chair like a movie chair yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:02:17 but it doesn't seem any much fancier anyways obviously walked past there didn't notice anything but as we were coming through the little e gates I was like oh someone's not allowed to go through the ear gates must have a boring passport you know what I mean Like, because you feel a bit superior.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Yes. And so I was like, oh, who's that? It's quite a group of people. And I go, huh, that's a very tall, lanky, dark-haired man who is possibly in the country right now. Oh, okay. Somba. Oh. So I was like, oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:02:48 And then Michael's like, who are you talking about? And I was like, you know that like 12 to 12 song? And like, he's like in his 30s. He doesn't know what I'm talking about. And I was like, just roll with it. That's definitely, okay, well, how do you? It's one of my favorite songs of the year Yeah, yeah, 12 to 12 is so good
Starting point is 00:03:03 Shane Booze is his real name Is it? Shane Michael Booze He's already quite like lanky He's very long and wiry And he looks like the Now he's called Shane That's his head
Starting point is 00:03:16 He looks like Mike Wheeler of stranger things He does But like much taller Yeah he anyway So he was in that little bit Where they have to check everything Whatever I guess And so I'm going down the little
Starting point is 00:03:27 I don't know what are they called Travelator thingy And then he's like right behind me all of a sudden And I'm like Did he get a sneaky photo? You know what? Sorry just to pause I just don't want to get too far away from this height thing
Starting point is 00:03:39 He's only my height Wait is it? Yeah and Mike 511 Yeah and Mike The guy that plays Mike Willer Finn Wolfheart's 6 foot But he must be so insanely skinny
Starting point is 00:03:51 That he looks insanely tall Yes Well okay no there's another video now saying he's definitely like six foot four The internet's divided Well I don't know Carl when you saw him He was very tall
Starting point is 00:04:04 I don't know how to tell someone's height From just looking at them But he was very tall It is weird when you haven't seen someone in real life When you just assume they're tall Like celebrities Because of the dimensions of their body Yes
Starting point is 00:04:17 And you're like they must be tall But they're never tall They're never tall The big movie stars and TV stars And the Kardashians don't look like They should be that short Five foot They don't look like they should be a flat
Starting point is 00:04:27 I know, but then when you see Kim Kane next to someone normal height, you're like, she's so little. Yeah, she is. Okay, somber. Yeah, and so then we went down to the baggage area, and he's just standing there, there's like a bunch of people around him, all his little people, I guess, and he has to wait for bags. Yeah, he had to wait for bags. And I could
Starting point is 00:04:43 tell that he was pointing, so he was pointing at bags and being like, that's my bag, and then his people were just like, run off. He wouldn't even pick it up his own bag. Come on, mate, you've already been famous for a year. Well, this is what I was thinking, but then I was like, you know what? He's so tall and skinny that maybe he'd fall over. He could break himself.
Starting point is 00:04:58 You could stand. Yeah. Go off balance and fall onto the convey about. But he had glasses, sunglasses on, big blue hoodie on, and I was, he was like looking around, and I was like, oh, he's definitely trying to be like, does anyone remember this week?
Starting point is 00:05:13 It would be the worst part about traveling, though, because when we saw Alex Warren at the airport, he just looked, wringed him a lot about, he was so tired. He let rinse. They're like, I love traveling and flying, but I reckon if you did it as much as they do, you'd hate it so much. in the end. Oh, hey, how I.
Starting point is 00:05:29 And so I moved further away because I had to, like, you know, go help my partner get our bags or whatever. Or is he torn skinny too? He can't lift his own bags. It's not like Samba, he was like, Carwin that one, Carwin that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, he did actually get them all. But I moved away.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Took a little snaky tip. There's actually a natural out there from Carlin. No, she hasn't finished. Yeah, I would have just sacrificed the story for the natural. I know. Better be good, Carwin. No, I haven't finished. Anyway, so I'm, I keep looking back because I'm like, I want to know if anyone's going to
Starting point is 00:05:57 like ambush him or like if he's because he's clearly looking for it right and so what you're saying is a man is asking for it this is the most key we think the most key we think he's asking for it he was just clearly looking around as if like our fan's going to come up to me
Starting point is 00:06:11 whether he wanted it or not he's just aware and so then at one point he takes his sunglasses off we make eye contact I smile and he gives me back the most like creeped out like oh look back oh what you gave me what he wanted who booed it
Starting point is 00:06:26 Oh, how well. Actually, worth the way for the end of the story. Worth the way. Worth the way.
