From the ZM Podcast Network It's Fletch, Fawn and Hayley's Little Bit of Pod Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod I had parent-teacher interviews recently and it was all go I remember we spoke on air because Indy drew a picture of a typical dinner. Yes. It was supposed to be a typical dinner that consisted of half vegetables, one quarter carbs, and one quarter protein meat in the situation.

And she drew chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. She put the mac and cheese in the salad spot and then some carrot sticks. And her health teacher listens to the show and heard it. Oh, okay. And said to her, it was funny to the show and heard it. Oh, okay. And said to her, it was funny and I've had worse. Oh, okay. I've had worse. So you went along to the interview.

So I went along to the parent-teacher interview and Indy said, that's my health teacher over there. And we didn't actually have a sit down with the health teacher. Oh, okay. We had the social studies, the maths, the English and the science. Yep. So she, we're going around, she's like, that's the health teacher. And I'm like, we're sitting and waiting and I'm looking at the health teacher who has

someone coming up to talk to her in her five minute slot. And a woman comes in and sits down and takes her jacket off. And she is, I describe her as a tiger mom. Okay. Had big tiger mom energy. What do you mean tiger mom? Like, I'm going gonna, I need to know how my daughter's doing and how she could be doing

better and I want extra. Is there any extra she could be doing? And the woman took the shirt off and she sat down with the health teacher while wearing a big Jack Daniels promo t-shirt. Yes! Jack Daniels whiskey situation. Okay. Yeah. Great. Yeah, good stuff, eh? Do you think,

do you take into consideration how you are presenting yourself when you go to these things yeah i think i sort of remember my parents getting a little dressed up like my dad would come from work in his suit like they were going to the theater no not like that but dad would definitely be in his work suit yeah and mum if she when she was working would have definitely like looked nice looked nice, but wanted to always present like we're a good family. Yeah, I went casual, just what I'm wearing now. So did you wear your Dolly Parton T-shirt? No, I didn't wear my Dolly Parton T-shirt.

It was just a black T-shirt. Did you wear your sleep nightie? No, not my sleep nightie. Because that would be really unprofessional if you turned up to a journey in your pyjamas. It would be pretty good to go to a parent-teacher interview in your pyjamas. No, we were just alright

but you were right like there was lots of I guess mums and dads who had come straight from work so they were in like quite professional attire yeah but

you only went if they needed your parents to look you in the eye and put the fear of fucking God about your behaviour. So Indy came along to the rest of them. Yep. How is she going? Is she a little nerd?
