three? four three four while you're trying to figure out what season it is I have not watched

a single episode oh you will okay it's four it is season four I thought it was four how dare you make a deal with yourself don't fight

yeah I just haven't it's like I got in and I was like, it's great. But like, it's big, you know, and I didn't need the right headspace. Because Fletch said to me, you need to watch it because there's a spoiler and you're not going to be able to avoid it on the internet. And I was like, okay. Yeah. Okay.

I think I watched it all on Tuesday after I heard that there was a big spoiler. You went home for a quick binge. I went home for a binge. I watched all three besides. God, it's good. So good. Yeah. We won't spoil anything.

I watched a season three recap because I was like, I'm not 100. I started season four. I was like, what? And then I went back and watched season three. I was like, that's right. It all clicked. And I was like, maybe I'm not in the right head space for this sort of show. Yeah, yeah.

You want to be fully engaged. If you were in one of those moods where you're going to be easily distracted, it's not going to be for you. On your phone. And then I turned it on, and immediately I was like, yes. This is such a good show. Do they do well at the Emmys? Yeah.

Succession, always winning stuff. I'm not going to say, if you haven't watched it and you want to avoid the spoilers I'd say get into it because something happens In this week's episode that's going to be hard Even I've seen that and I don't watch it And um God damn that acting was good Everybody was good

It's brilliant it's such a brilliant show Who's the guy that plays Kendall People say he's one of those full blown Method actors Sinks himself into a role Who plays Kylie People say he's one of those full-blown method actors. Oh, right. Sinks himself into a role. Who plays Kylie? Kylie plays Kylie.

Yeah, right. Hold on, let me. Jeremy Strong is his name. Yeah, Tom and Cousin Greg are my favorites. Like, jeez, they're just brilliant. It's, yeah. I need to get into it. It's a really hard show to describe. And everybody's unlikable.

There's not a likable, but there are people that you dislike less. So you're choosing the better of the evils. Yeah, the best of a bad bunch. It's just an insane show. This is how Succession is described. The Logan family is known for controlling the biggest media and entertainment company in the world. However, their world changes when their father steps down for the company. Yes.

From the company. Yeah. And it's like, who, yeah, what's the succession plan for the guy? It's essentially Rupert Murdoch, right? Yeah. That's what it was originally based on. Based on the whole Fox News and Rupert Murdoch family. Rupert Murdoch situation.

Yeah. It's good, and you should watch it. How long is each episode? Like an hour. HBO. HBO, like cracking on a good, you know, between 50 and an hour. I need COVID. You know what I mean?

Like that's what I need to get into it. Yeah. If you get the brain fog, though, it's not really. You want something easier to ingest. But it's such an unreal show to. Dude, you don't watch it with the family, though. I watched it. I connected Bluetooth headphones because I started it and I was like,

that's right. And I paused it and I put it on and the girls kept, because I was laughing. The girls were like, oh, what are you laughing at, Dad? Let us watch it. I was like, not for you. Like, this is one of those shows not for. Visually not to. It's just the dialogue is very not child friendly.

Yes. He's his fuck off a lot, doesn't he? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Logan Roy, the old man, who's played by Brian Cox, who's a fantastic actor. This is not at all a paid endorsement for the show. It may sound like it. I'm enjoying other shows as well

at the moment. What else are you enjoying? The Mandalorian Season 3. Now should I, because I'm saving that all up until it finishes. Yeah. It's only one more episode. Oh, okay. Yeah, I think there's one more episode this season. Last night I watched three hours of Metallica playing live on Jimmy Kimmel.

Because they did like a residency, like a week long residency because they've got a new album coming out called 72 Seasons just for I feel like this is the demographic

where we're talking to our podcast listeners amazing live 8 year old loves a bit of Metallica I adore Metallica yeah and like it's the same thing

they were being asked about how they feel seeing all these fans out the door and they're the same bloody age as when they were the fans in the 80s. Yeah. You know what I mean? They're all still teenagers and young adults.

Well, Stranger Things introduced Metallica to a whole new generation. That's how my kids found out about it. Has your daughter branched out from Master of the Puppets? Oh, not really. She'll do a bit of Interstellar Man. I'm like, you've got to get into a bit of Flood and the Bell Tolls. Yeah. Anyway, so that's what I watched yesterday.

That's what you were watching. Also, Beef on Netflix is really good. Yeah, so good. That's on my list. That's my wife and I's show that we watch together. You know, you've got to have one of those shows that you watch together. Yeah, we're doing that together.

But it also means you get through it really slowly because there's not a lot of time where you're both, like, we have an hour. Let's watch a show. Yeah. I will say I'm feeling a bit lost now that Maths is gone. I need some trash. Oh, you need trash?

I need a trash, but I'm not going to do Love is Blind and I'm not going to do Love Island. So I need a bit of trash. I need to pepper some trash back into my life. The streaming services do have some trash. They've got reality trash. A lot of trash. What was that?

I saw that Netflix was doing a trash. Are they? Netflix was doing some trash. they? Netflix was doing some trash Do they like some Netflix trash? That should be the genre You scroll down Netflix, drama, comedy, romance, trash Are you sure it's not Love is Blind?

Oh maybe it was The new season of that Maybe it was That's the current talk of the town But was there a twist? This looked like one of those trash shows But with a twist The twist is they're all hot

Love is deaf And they give everyone headphones so they can't hear the other person and they just stare at each other look at this body

look at this butt and then you take the headphones off and they're like hello you're like oh god I've made a huge mistake I've made a huge mistake

oh dear a huge mistake do you know what was also good that I watched was The Menu what a movie have you watched that no the Ray that I watched was The Menu What a movie! Have you watched that?

No The Ralph Fiennes movie, The Menu? I've heard it's good though Twists and turns Anna Taylor-Joy is in it She's also Peach in the new Super Mario movie Which I'm going to go see this weekend Because I'm out of isolation and I love Mario

And apparently that movie's bloody good Nicholas Holt's in it Yes And lots of famous actors Yeah And it's insane I actors and it's insane I've heard it's good

don't read anything about it before you go and see it you've got to watch it at home watch it raw dog well there you go there's some options and if you haven't watched what's the survival one Outlast still on my list I think you were going to say if you haven't seen me
