And I'm so gutted because I was out in town the other night. I saw everyone in their fish nets and feathers and glitter. And I remembered Rocky Horror Picture Show is in town. And you went.

Yes, I'm a big fan of Rocky Horror. The movie picture show, but the stage show is just Rocky Horror Show. It's not my favorite. Made in New Zealand. Yeah. Wasn't it? No, it wasn't made in New Zealand, was it? The guy was.

Richard O'Brien. He's from Hamilton. Yeah, he has those fun toilets in Hamilton. Yeah, but it was filmed. No, I know, but... He wrote the musical. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right, yeah. Well, and it's just turned 50 years old.

Fitty. Yeah. Man. So I went to see the musical, and man, it is the boomers' eras tour. Oh, for sure. It is so funny. Like, I love it because I'm such an extra girly as well. Yeah.

But it's, I went to a matinee performance. It was 1 p.m. And all the mums were out. I love a matinee. Oh, it's the best. All the mums were out in their fishnets and corsets and wigs. And I was just like, I am here for this. Did you dress up?

No, we bought last minute ticket. So I just went all black just to be the vibes, but not dress up. Yeah. But I witnessed something while watching the show. I think I saw the start of a couple's downfall. Okay, brilliant. Oh, okay, amazing. So we were sitting, we were right up in the gods seats all the way at the back.

So everyone there wasn't like huge theatre people. You know, down the front, everyone's singing along and getting into it. Yeah. Yeah. We were up with people who I think didn't really know what they were getting into, is what I'm trying to say. It's been around so long you kind of know, right? Yeah. I would have thought so.

And, you know, I was there. I was time warping and everything. Yeah. But the couple next to me, as some of the characters came out, obviously, very scantily dressed. And, like, you know, it's a controversial. Oh, lots of drag. Yeah. Yeah.

The man in the couple gave a good, woo, yeah, like to the, you know. Yeah. I don't want to use the words, even though it's the words in the songs of, you know, but Frank conferred his character. Sweet transvestia. Yeah, exactly.

Cancel. I didn't say. But basically, like, the man in this couple gave a big woo and a clap like we all did, and his girlfriend did not move. Over to bar. She was not having a bar. And then I felt her posture changed

towards me. Like she shifted... Because he wooed. Towards me. Oh, okay. And I felt them kind of whisper for a bit and then for the rest. Oh, Vaughn's back. Oh, Vaughn. Finally. We're talking about Rocky Horror. Come in and join us. Holly just got himself a coffee.

From Hamilton. Yeah. Well, the guy, Richard O'Brien's from Hamilton. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So there's a statue. So just to catch you up, Shannon was at Rocky Horror and then she saw it and then when they came out, the boyfriend did a woo and now the girlfriend's body language has changed. Yeah. And so,

I felt the whisper and I felt her shift towards me for the rest of the show. Neither one of them clapped for anything. Like every song. What about the singing along? No, time. It's just a jump. During the time war, they didn't time warp.

Everyone stood up and danced and they stayed sitting. What? Her face was like thunder. She was so upset. And I was just like, girl, like the whole point is like, this is so fun. Yeah, you're a dreary bitch. I don't think they knew what they were coming into because they were. Be miserable somewhere else.

But like it's the most famous thing ever. The advertising's kind of... Yeah, we know what we're getting into. I will say, the show was 12 plus, which I thought was wild. I would have thought it's 16 at least. There's no, like, gratuitous. There's a full sex sign. Yeah, but you don't see the P go into the V.

No, but like, it's still pretty intense. Did you... Was it one of the ones where people throw the things, throw the toast? Yes, there was... It was so well done. It was the UK cast. It was the first time in 15 years they've come here. So it was a big deal.

but I just was like this couple is going home to either break up or not speak for a few more hours. It was just so awkward and I was just like, girl, just get into the time warp. It's just to jump to the left. If you're going to do it right when you go to the Rocky Horror, you take a backpack and in that you take rice, toast,

confetti, toilet paper, playing cards, newspapers, water pistols, noises or, noise makers or bells, flashlights or glow sticks and party hats. They were selling like a bunch of those things as well as merch. Wow. Yeah. It's just like a cult.

It's so fun. Yeah. Oh my God, I want an update on this couple. I know. And I was just like, come on, girl. And I wanted to, like, during the time warp, be like, come, jump to the left with me. Like, I wanted to camaraderie with her.

But I was also like, she's a sour bitch, clearly. She's not in the right mindset. No. Oh, that's, I'm sorry to hear that you were dragged down. Oh, I mean, I was not dragged down. I jumped to the left, step to the right. I was happy girl. Good girl.

Did you put your knees in tight? No. I struggled with. that. What about your pelvic thrust? No, I was good at that. Did you go and say, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course I did.
