Starting point is 00:00:00 From the Zedium Podcast Network, it's Fletchhorn and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. I have reached another milestone of fatherhood. Okay. I don't know my kid's friends' names anymore. Oh, yeah. You know how your dad will always, you'll talk about somebody. You've been friends of them for years and your dad's that?
Starting point is 00:00:21 Who? Who? Maria. Which one's Maria? You know, I was the car here. You got married last year. This is my, there'll be a clear. or a Chloe or a Rachel or a Monica
Starting point is 00:00:32 or a Chandler or a Phoebe and I don't know who this people are. A Chanandlebone. A Ross. I just can't keep up. But I nailed it yesterday. Indy sent me a photo after school on the bus. I was like Rachel.
Starting point is 00:00:46 She's like, yes. You got it. I was like, try me with another one. She sent me another one and I was like, never seen that one before. They all look the same white girls. I struggle. I struggle.
Starting point is 00:00:55 This is the thing. If that age between 14 and 17, white girls all look the same. And they're already saying her Rachel was because Rachel's Asian. Oh, right. Okay. It's easy to remember that. Rachel.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Race is different to my daughter. Racial, racial, racial, racial, racial, Asian, Chinese. I mean, it was a few steps to get there, Haley. It is, but that makes it, that's what makes it easy to remember. It's got a story attached to it now. But all the other white, the white ones, they all look the same. And I'm thinking there's dads out there that are being introduced, because she's also at high school now and it's like a massive high school and it's these kids.
Starting point is 00:01:30 I just wonder if there's the dads that are like, which one's this? Yeah. I mean, you've obviously got your core besties. Well, that's, I can remember. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, yeah, for sure. The Layla's and the likes, they've been around since Day Dot. I can remember them.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Especially now it's Leila, Ayla, Lola, Leila, Ayla, Ayla, Aela, Aela, Aera, Aera, Aera, you know, they're all kind of the same name as well. Yeah. Yeah. They're all names that can be said while slurring. So what are you doing? Chum? Buddy.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Buddy. Hey, champ. Yeah. Which one's this? That's why. Because they do it. It still doesn't matter. Who was that?
Starting point is 00:02:01 As soon as I see someone that they don't know out in public And they walk away, who was that? Totally. But yeah, I always just thought it was so funny that dads couldn't remember. Especially daughter's friends' names because I guess they chop and change and there's so many of them. But lads seem to have three mates and that's it for life. Yeah, yeah, you guys are always switching it out.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Is Becky? We haven't seen Becky for a while. No, we hate Becky now. She was a bitch. She was a bitch. Oh, my God. Yeah, she was a bitch. She was a bitch.
Starting point is 00:02:25 And then next thing you know, you're like, oh, hello friend. At least it's not that bitch Becky. It's Becky. She's back. Oh, she's back, yeah. She's back, they made up. She was forgiven. I was never mad at her.
Starting point is 00:02:33 You were. You caught her a bitch. And then it all kicks all over it again. Yeah. So I'm trying my best. I was thinking of doing a little cheat sheet. You know, like flashcards. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:45 I wouldn't bother. Remember when I had to do a cheat sheet, last year? They changed so much. Yeah, yeah. And yeah, that's the thing. Yeah, just don't bother.
