Welcome to a Little Bit of Pod.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Cast. I was driving to work. No, don't change the name suddenly. I think we're just going to keep it Pod. A Little Bit of Pod. Sorry, carry on. Welcome to a Pussy Pert Dirt Podcast. Well, I was driving to work and I plugged my phone in, but I've got a bit of a dicky cord. Oh, have you got a bit of a dicky cord there as well?
Starting point is 00:00:55 Has that been replaced? No, this old cord at work is a bit dicky. A bit of a dicky cord. Oh, this dicky cord? We're bringing in the producers. Where's our fucking cord? It does look short. No.
Starting point is 00:01:06 It's sticky. Do you know what? I just got emailed back a reply from that, and they're going to fix it today. Oh, fantastic. That's great news. I thought you were going to say, I'm going to reply,
Starting point is 00:01:15 they have declined our request for a new cord. I'm going to say slight lag time there. Oh my goodness, such a long lag time. That sticky cord was where you were coming from weeks ago? Yeah. Thank goodness you haven't had to play any audio. I'm holding it and hopefully it can be good because I do need to play some audio now. I'm driving, I plug my phone in, it doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:01:31 You plug your phone in? Every time. You've not got Bluetooth? I do, but through the Apple CarPlay. He didn't pay for the Bluetooth at all. There wasn't available in the gym any of the time. He's got one of those cassettes with a cord. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:43 And you plug it in and then you can play your CD Walkman and you've got to put that on the passenger seat, otherwise it's too bouncy and it skips. So I'm plugged in and I just start going through the radio stations. Yeah. Why are we listening to anything other than ZM? I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:01:59 He likes to monitor and just monitor the opposition. Quality check. And I hear this song playing on another radio station. Oh, great song. This is Aerosmith's. Pearl Harbor? No, Armageddon. Armageddon movie.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Armageddon, that's it. Armageddon. It plays as Ben Affleck runs animal biscuits along Liv Tyler's exposed midriff. Not today. It's been a while since I've seen itriff. Not today. It's been a while since I've seen it. Tummy.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Right. Tummy. Tweet tummy. So why? In 1998, that would have been enough. Yep. You know.
Starting point is 00:02:33 Oh, the farmer's catalogue was enough for you in 1998. Oh, I know. It was at once. Bloody hell. So. There's a red dot saying hello.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Hello. So the song plays. Oh, you've really got a dicky chord there. You can really hear the dicky chord. So imagine it goes like this. Only there's a way to get that replaced. They're very hard to come by, aux chords. Hard to come by.
Starting point is 00:02:54 So it's wrapping up. It's doing its... Now imagine this. You're on. Insert classic rock station title here. Got it. That's Aerosmith's classic. Delwood Abyssal Thing.
Starting point is 00:03:08 News up next. Classic? It's on the fucking classic rock station. I was 16 years old when that song came out. Oh, you're old. It's happening. How fucking dare you? Why?
Starting point is 00:03:19 Fix your dicky cord. They're going to be like. Fix your dicky cord. That was Mbop By Hanson On Classic Radio And you'll be like What the fuck How fucking did
Starting point is 00:03:29 Yeah But I understand Aerosmith is a band That fits into the Classic rock era Yeah But a song that came out What
Starting point is 00:03:37 Three years ago How How is it on Classic rock I'm taking it personally You're doing a lot of this Lately Yeah You're really worrying About your age and your mortality.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Yeah. And I think you're going to be- Yeah, you are. It drives me to be more productive. Why? Because you think the end is coming. Because I want to get more stuff done. Because you think-
Starting point is 00:03:55 And I'm on limited time here. I want to get some stuff done. But we're always on limited time. Yeah, I think it makes you more productive. It makes me more reckless. Do you know what I mean? Because I'm like, fuck it. We only live once.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Why not? Buy that jacket. Yeah. Shut up about the jacket. And we are not speaking of it in front of Aaron. I just need to calculate in my head how I'm going to work that one out. Just speaking of reckless, this song now, this is classic rock. Yes, now this is classic rock.
Starting point is 00:04:24 This is Australian cruel song, Reck now, this is classic rock. Yes, now this is classic rock. This is Australian Cruel's song, Reckless. Yeah. This is classic rock. But I wonder if the first time this was played on a classic rock station, there was a man who was 16 when it came out listening to it being like, classic fucking rock. Totally. It happens.
Starting point is 00:04:40 This is it. This is it. You've got to stop. I don't want it to be. You've got to stop. I don't want it to be. You've got to stop. I don't want it to be. But would they play like Nirvana on a classic rock station? No.
Starting point is 00:04:49 It's not really classic rock. I think classic rock has almost kind of sealed off as a genre, and that stays with like Queen and the Eagles and all that kind of stuff. We're not moving. That'll have its own. What about Creed? Creed, classic rock. No, that's still that's still
Starting point is 00:05:05 that's still on high high rotation I know you love that I wonder too I'll get it going I'm just gonna give
Starting point is 00:05:11 a quick vibe check for Creed what Creed would you like arms wide open higher one last breath higher higher
Starting point is 00:05:16 higher or my sacrifice yeah classic this is classic rock this is classic rock it's not quite though But you wouldn't say

Starting point is 00:05:33 Yeah maybe It's not alternative rock I thought that's so bad I was like not dads Dads are older This song came out As a teenager Yeah
Starting point is 00:05:41 And I'm a dad God you've got to Stop doing this yourself Yeah It's just I wish you could Botox your feelings I was a teenager, yeah, and I'm a dad. God, you've got to stop doing this yourself. Yeah. It's just crazy. I wish you could Botox your feelings. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, I don't like that one.
Starting point is 00:05:53 No, but isn't that just severance? Yeah, stop that one moving. Or medication. Yeah, maybe. What do I need to take to stop these invasive thoughts? And just... Whiskey! I'll do my best. Aerosmith is not classic
