From the ZDM Podcast Network, it's Fletchhorn and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. I was driving home along Auckland's Northwestern Motorway the other day. Yeah. And I saw someone moving because they had a trailer on and they had their bed and they had their, what do they call it a tallboy and their dresser with the mirror on it. Oh, was it with a service station rental trailer. Yep. And the weather looked a bit iffy.

I feel like shaky at the memory of doing that with a trailer. And the mattress and you're like, Frit rains, that thing's going to take. That's weird. Then, I noticed what was hanging out the back window of their car. Oh, was a plant. Okay. Now, it wasn't a fiddle leaf fig.

It may have been of the Fikas family. Right. And they, I was obviously a tall one and they had it in the back seat of the car leaning out the window. It was just like destroyed. Oh, I've done this. All the leads were gone. Yeah. They'd obviously been like, oh, we'll just shove with what we can in the car and then some's going to be sick of it.

It was just ruined. I did that because I used to have so many house plants. I'm downsizing. I'm actually trying to get rid of my big monster at the moment. Because they just like so much of it. It's just huge. And my house is a little cottage, you know, like it's just huge. But I did that once.

I got a trailer from a bloody gas station. And I was like, this is the only way I can think to do this. And I stacked them all up and I drove from Mount Albert in Auckland to Avondale with it. And I got there. And they were just in tatters. And I was like, what did I think? You've got to get a man. They've got to be in the car or in a van.

Or put a big black rubbish bag over the head of them at least so that they got a bit of wind protect. A windbreaker. No, but then that's just going to get broken. Yeah, it's a nightmare. It's hiring a van. It's hiring a van. This thing was long.

You may have had to have angled it even in the back of a van. Oh, God, you'd be pissed because those things aren't cheap either to buy. And then they're probably your favourite house plants. Yeah, they are. And they take years to grow that big. They take so long to go big. Do you want a Monsterra? I've already got his Monster.

Yeah, I hate, no, Bourne got mine because I got sick of it. It's too big. Do you want my monsteria? No, because... To replace your monster a hole? No, because then it gets too big. Shit, mine's too big. I've already got like one and it's just going big.

I know. It's big. It's big. You can cut them at that, and they've got the ugly, like, end stalk bits. Yeah. I've grown this thing from like its little, little infancy and I'm so upset to get rid of it. But it's just, I know you can show it back, but nah, no, no, I've got to get rid. I've got to make space for more antiques.

That's what I. she needs more. That's why I need more. Can I actually ask you a trailer question? I've got a question. Oh, okay, yeah. I'm getting some goods delivered to my house. Correct.

For a project that's not ready. Yes, I will back the trailer up your driveway. So can I get vaughn to say those words? It's not that I don't believe that you... Not that I don't believe that you can. I don't ever think I've backed a trailer in my life. And you know, my driveway is... I had the bill to come around yesterday.

He's like, do trucks get down there? I was like, yeah, but they've got to be good. Yeah, I know there's no room for error. And Vaughn backed my spa pool down. I'm incredible at reversing a car down my lot. Because I grew up on a long driveway and I can just go. I could reverse home. I love reversing.

Same. I think it's one of the coolest noises your car can make. Could you legally reverse all the way home? I'm sure there's a law. Because you can only go so fast reversing. So I think that would be a slow lane. I know. In the left lane.

No, the question is I'm going to... No, you want to be on the bike line. Nice and slow in the bike line, you know. Reverse my ride. That's how you wanted to work. I need you to back some stuff down my driveway, well, maybe he could do it when he's doing the hedges. Okay, so it's just never going to arrive.

Just leaving that there, just pop that in there. Thanks, thanks. He just doesn't even acknowledge you. Those must be ready for another trim, actually. They've regrowing. They've grown a hedge with on the hedge. A re-trim trim.
