Flying out, I was about to board the flight And they came over It's not illegal but it's frowned upon What? I'm having a wank on the plane Is that what you were going to ask. They shouldn't put such sexy movies on. No, they were at the boarding gate, and this was in America, in New York, flying to Europe, and they came on the bing bong and said, is there anybody willing to take the same flight but tomorrow for $1,400 US dollars? Fuck yeah. If I was you, I would have taken it.

No. $1,400 US dollars? Imagine the night you'd have. That is... $2,800 New Zealand dollars. You'd just go out, you'd eat a good meal, you'd stay at a cool hotel. I'd just sit at my mate. If I was travelling for months, absolutely I would have.

But I wasn't and I only had like two days in the city, Airbnb, was meeting my friends. Yeah, Vaughan, you're thinking of coming home. Oh, you're not coming home. No, not coming home. I thought you said it was on the way home. Yeah, you're booking wherever you're going to is all shit. Yeah, gotcha, gotcha.

It would have just been like just too much of a nightmare. Man, imagine if you were going home. Oh, I would have taken it, 100%. Imagine the night you'd have. And then I'd just say to you guys, oh my God, my flight got cancelled. No, you wouldn't have to lie to us. We'd be like, hell yeah, man. Do it.

And it'd be like $2,800 or $2,000. What was it in New Zealand? $2,400. Yeah. I would expect a gift. If I made you work an extra day. Yeah. Just kind of put me out a bit.

But no, it wasn't coming home. But that's, I mean, and I've heard this. I've been at airport gates in America where they've done this before. But it's insane money. I hate that they overblock. It's a weird thing. I know. My flights were very empty everywhere, but that was a smaller flight that you were on.

But I hate that they do that. Greedy guts. Yeah, that's why you've always got to book in early, especially in America. Yeah. Because they do, they overcharge it. Yeah. But you would have taken it. Yeah, hell yeah, I would have.

Because I think they. Especially on the way home. So that was actually the second offer. They'd already started at 700. Oh, so everybody holds out. And people hold out. Isn't that insane?

Like, it's so much money. But I would like, this is me, because it's not real money, in a girl math way, I'd blow it. Like, I'd be like, right, I've got two and a half grand.

Yeah. I'm going to stay at the best hotel.
