From the Zedium podcast network, it's Fletchfallen and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. I think this might make me sound like a bit of a prick. Oh, are you just realizing? Yeah. You know, I'm such a people pleaser, and I love people to like me. But the other day, I've been tired and a bit of grump, said in. And you've been traveling a lot.

Traveling a lot. And so I was at the end, I've been traveling a lot with my same big red suitcase that I have. You know, we call it my little smeg fridge, because I'm a bit. It's so cute and big. Everybody comments at the baggage carousel. And that's why I have it, because I like to be looked at and acknowledged and just stared at. And for people to be like, wow, what a woman. So on my final trip from down south home, I went to check in my bag.

Also, she takes us away when she's away for like one night, even two nights. Yeah, I know. It's excessive. Well, you want options. Your daughter's be used down. I want options in the wardrobe. I want options in the bedroom. So, you know what I mean?

I pack heavy. And so I had my suitcase and I, there was just the self-check-in. And then I had to drop it to the bag place. And I drop it to the bag place and it's 24.5Ks. That's over. The max is 23. Max is 23. Yeah.

And she looks at me, the woman checking in and she goes, you want to tell someone out? And I said, No. Just like that? I just was like, no, I don't. And she was like, oh, okay. Well, it's overweight by one and a half KGs.

And I said, yeah, I see that. How of that? Do you have 24 and a half KGs when you're away two nights? Crazy, eh? Crazy. Dildos. Yep. And clothes and going out clothes and comfy clothes and stage clothes.

How much of that did you not wear in your suitcase? 80% of it. 80% of it. Shoe options, hair options, makeup options. So it was just this moment of me that I was like, I never say no. And so I just tried it out saying no. Do you want to take something out of this? I said no.

She goes, well, it's overweight. And I said, no. And then she said, I'm going to have to charge you $50 for that. And I was like, do you? And she goes, yeah, because it's overweight. I can't let it through. And I said, well, I've traveled up and down the country in the last week and no one's charged me for it.

And it's been the same weight the whole time. She said, is that right? And I said, but I want to have to charge you. And I said, no, you don't. What are you trying? A bit of a Jedi mind trip. Yeah, I was. Oh my God.

I told her, no, you don't. Nick Minner, she's put it on the heavy tag. She's put it on my bag tag and that thing goes through. I don't pay a dollar. Oh, my God. You are outrageous, Haley. That's rude. I walked away and was like, did I just do that?

Did I just know her? Yeah. She just, I think she was kind of like. Also, like, there's no point because you get another bag. Like you could have checked two bags. No, because I actually had to print a bag tag for the producers. They had a bit of gear and every now and then we'll give them out extra bag tags. Yes, I would have said, look, I've got two bags available and I'm only using one.

No, no, no, no. I'm going to try it more often. I only try and see how far I can get away. Imagine if I go and buy a top or something, they're like, that's $40 and I'm like, is it? Is it? I don't think it is, babe. I think you should have another look. I think you need to put your staff discount on it for me.

Yeah, I think there's a world in which this isn't. I think that's just what they call getting older, isn't it? And being a Karen. Yeah, man. Just saying no. Like, you know, the other day, I could have said something about my eggs, but I didn't. I'm my bacon. You decided bacon, but you didn't. I didn't. But I did say something. Because the truth

is, in other airports, they have just turned a blind eye and gone or whatever. With this and she tried to pull me up. She tried to get me to take something out. I said no. I don't want to open my bag then and there and they have to carry my shoes or something. I just said no. And then she said, I've got to charge you. And I just said, no. It's all going on the plane, is it?

it's all going on the plane and remember we have this theory that at the this time last year I was significantly heavier in my own body oh yeah so actually me having that one and a half kg's in the extra suitcase that's just girl mathing extra I've just girl math my extra weight yeah yeah because if you make me take it out fuck you I'm gonna go and eat two pies and then I'm just find the weight somewhere you'll be burning extra fuel yeah that'll show you
