We have a very special task on our hands, and that is to pick what will be the 12 months of our 26 FVH calendar, which last year for the 2025 was motivational quotes on horses. This year, it will be Rock Quest band names. Rock Quest bands and their songs. Yes, it's been a long-running joke on the show, and every time we've made a joke the producers diligently

have recorded the date and the Rockquest band name that we mentioned on air and there's a large list here's the list. We're too many. I'm going to tell you we're going to what all these down and I think some of these by the way I think some of these names for the Rock West band names would be great names to say what their songs were called. I think we should also for those overseas podcast listeners that didn't grow up in New Zealand or no

it was like a battle of the bands for high school kids and you did it again and you're like local town or city and then you went on to like regional finals and then there was a national final where each area was... And the joke is they're always terrible bad names because you're a fucking teenager. You take it too seriously. Yeah.

It was great. But there's a lot of famous Kiwi singers and stuff have gone through Rockways. My brother did it with his band, The Red Carpet Murder. That was theirs. Red carpet murder? Was the carpet already red or...

Well, that's a great mystery of Red carpet murder. Exactly. Now we're asking questions. Now I'm hooked into the band. Now we're talking about the band. Yeah. How did they do? They did well.

They won the regionals and then went to nationals. And then I think maybe Kimbra kicked them in the ass or something. As somebody who emceed many a Rock West all the way through, I would say sometimes one region was so particularly strong it wasn't fear that three from that region didn't go through to the finals, whereas some region with a weaker region got someone in even though they weren't as good as some of the others.

My favourite band. And Homer Milk. Homo milk is... I love that. That's from September. Men could make milk. We'd call it Homer Milk. The idea is now that we'll make a calendar and AI generate the band.

Yeah. Guys, if we do this, we actually don't have to cut anything. Because we've got 11 band names here. And then the rest of them are songs. I love this. So it will be their calendar image. I feel like these are just some of them though. We've definitely said it a lot more.

Those are great bands. I love this so much. Because international listener Earl was, as we were doing them, creating album art for them.
