From the ZDM Podcast Network, it's Fletchhorn and Haley's Little Bit of Pod.
Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod.
We talked this week already about the memory.
And just remembering, not being able to remember things from last week or last month.
I should really get back on the fish oil, but I don't like the tablets because when I take the pills, I burnt and it tastes like thick.
That joke is just never going to die.
We talked about memory and I couldn't remember the past,
the code to my lockbox I just put up.
Went home, I remember mid-air.
Yeah.
I remembered it, went home.
It was that.
It was that.
Oh, well, okay, so I get a message the other day from my neighbour who I was,
she was away and I stayed in her apartment for like two or three months, two months, two and a bit months while my place was getting renowed.
Did she email to be like, the hell have you done to this couch?
The towels are ruined
No, I clean that place thoroughly
And so she'd just got back from overseas
And she messaged me
And she said, thank you so much
For the lovely chocolates
I've just arrived home
And I was like, did I leave her chocolates?
Oh
And I was like
Okay, so in this instance
I might either say
You're absolutely welcome
Thank you for letting me say
I was paying rent
So, you know.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it wasn't just a charity.
It wasn't just a charity, you know, letting me say that.
Yeah.
And I was like, okay, do I say not a problem, but I do not remember giving this lady chocolate?
You might have, but probably not.
But it's also something I would have done, but I might not have.
Yes.
So then do I say, you're welcome, but then later down the track she finds out, I didn't.
It wasn't you.
It wasn't.
Someone else says to her, how did you enjoy those chocolates?
And she said, what chocolate's the chocolates I left for you?
I got Fletcher's chocolates.
And then, like, I'd run into her, and she's like, so.
those chocolates weren't from you.
And I'm like, and so...
Yes, they were.
You must have lost the second lot of chocolate.
I messaged my friend who helped me clean the apartment.
Yeah.
And I said, do you remember me to leave any chocolates on there?
Because she's saying it left her chocolates and I don't remember.
But it's also something I could have done and forgotten about.
And he said, well, I don't remember, but it is something that you would do.
You would do that.
Leave them and forget that you've left them.
Yeah.
And so I'm just like, but I came clean.
I was like, okay, I'm going to be.
honest, I can't remember
buying you chocolates. It's something I may have done.
Yeah. And you're
welcome if I did leave them.
Otherwise, enjoy the chocolates either way.
So she's finally gotten home after
all this time. You've long since moved out.
And I was staying there in
March, April, May.
Who else?
Well, I don't know. Maybe someone
else stayed there. I don't know.
It's probably your chocolates. I don't know. They're probably
my chocolates. What chocolates were they? Because that would
help determine it. Well, I don't know. I can't remember.
Oh shit
Shit
Because if it was a night
Because you're
If you were staying that long
I think you'd go for a Rourerichet
You'd go for a Ferreira Rishay
Totally
A rachelorette
Yeah
He's not gonna do a cabri box
Of favourites
We know him
No it's
It wouldn't have been a favourites
I should ask her
Say what were the chocolates
I know
But it's doing my head
In because it's like
Did I leave them
And it's like
If I did leave them
That was like May
I should
It was mid-May
I should remember that
Yeah you should remember that
It's only all
August. You should remember that.
When I stayed, this was last year, I stayed in my parents' friends' apartment in Italy,
and she's never there. She's like, never there. And never charges me anything.
So I'll always just leave cash on the counter.
And she messaged me maybe 10 months after I'd left being like, oh, thanks for the cash.
I just got home and found it. I was like, oh, my God.
I totally forgotten I'd left it.
It felt like I was doing a double little gift.
But chalkies.
believing it. Yeah, because I always do, whereas you've got no memory at all.
Yeah, I need to get on that. What are you on the fish oil?
No, I've been thinking about it. I should get on fish oil because I've got such a terrible
memory, but I know how I'd like the burps. Just have salmon instead.
Oh, I love salmon. A bit of a night and cook in a pan. No, no, no, no, no, no.
You need an air friar. I've got an air friar, I think. Eight minutes. Eight minutes.
Let me write this down because I will forget because I've got terrible memory.
Oh, dude. You need some omega-3s. Get on the fish oils.
I should get on the fish oil, but I don't like it because when I burp, I can taste the
Oh my God.
It doesn't even taste like fish fingers.
You don't get it from salmon.
No, but you don't get it from the salmon.
I should try salmon.
Just get a salmon fill it.
But it's the cooking of this salmon.
