For those that missed it, it was in the big pod. Like a couple of weeks ago, we talked about this. I booked some flights on the 8th of February. And still to this moment, as we record this and you listen to it, dear listener, my credit card has not processed the payment for these flights. And I rang the, and I mentioned this, I rang the credit card and they said that they had authorized the company to take the payment, but they haven't taken it.

It's not pending. I have a ticket issued. I have a ticket number and reference. So for all intents of purposes, all intense and purposes, it's intense. Intense. For all intense purposes. Your intense.

Intense and purposes. Intents. For all camping. For all camping and purposes. Intense. I have intense. I have the ticket to fly. Hang on.

It's so dodgy though. Like, I know. At some point the airline is going to go, we're missing a couple hundred bucks. But then we, and I mentioned this, we talked about this,

our friends also have done this and had free flights. When they claimed points for a flight and they never, and they got reversed. And they flew anywhere. So this, and I've googled this And apparently this every now and again Very rarely happens

So you're just a lucky boy Well, I... I mean, until you are sat, buckled and taken off In that flight, I think there's going to be a little anxiety around it being like... I reckon till you land. It was a return flights? The flights you booked was it there?

Oh, okay, it was one way. So it's a bit like robbing a bank or killing someone, you know? You're always looking over your shoulder for when you're getting arrested. I know me constantly. You know, constantly over your shoulder. murdering and bank robber

No, so I was like, you know what? I'm going to do the right thing. Plus, I don't want to be stuck in some country and then have to pay more for a flight. Oh, you haven't have you. Or having to pay more later in the year when they do their accounting and realize that they fucked up. So I reached out to this airline. I rang them. Actually, no, that's good.

I rang them. And the lady, the lady on the line said, How awfully queer. How awfully queer. I must say this is awfully queer. I'm having a look at my computer here. How awfully queer?

She said, I can see that it's ticketed and that you're booked and it's all good at my end. And I said, yeah, but you haven't taken the money. And she said, of all the years I've worked here, I don't know how many that is, but of all the years. That indicates quite a few. Quite a few. She said, I've never seen this happen. And I said, how awfully queer. How awfully queer.

So now you're at two, how awful queer. awfully queers. Yes. And so she said, you've got to, what I would do is email booking at airline.

It's an overseas airline. So I don't feel bad about this. And she, she spelled it out B-O-O-K-I-N-G. Thank you for spelling up booking. Well, he did go to Dysol 1. B-O-K-I-N-G.

B-O-K-I-N-G. B-O-K-I-I-N-G. And booking was its name, O. So email this, forward my E-Ticker and say, look, here's what's happened. It's awfully queer. How awful queer? Did you put that subject?

Actually, what a pussy. Two days later, a little puss. Two days later, an email back from the airline. System admin, this email doesn't exist. What? What? Booking at Airline, the one, this email this lady gave me doesn't exist. It's bounced back.

Did you put in B O-O-K-I-N-G? B-O-O-K-K-I-N-G was its name-O. Yes, I did, I did. O-K-I-N-G, O-K-I-N-G, and booking was its name, O-K-I-N-G. We can't do the whole thing. Fletch and booking up a tree. K-I-S-I-S-I-N-G. Okay, so that didn't exist.

So I'm like, I go online and I find a number for the New Zealand office. Jesus, phenomenal. I think the amount of hours you're pumping into solving this free flight. You more or less have paid for it with your own fucking time. I'm fucking trying here at airline. I'm fucking. F-U-C-I-N-G.

F-C-K-I-N-G. F-C-K-I-N-G. And fucking trying. So there's this number for the, it must be some kind of office that deals with a lot of airlines and book it. You know, like. Within a, um. than a country.

Like they contract out to deal with the customer service. Well, I have tried to ring this place. I reckon ten times. I left an email, a message. We'll call you back. You know,

so that you don't have to wait on the line. Because at one stage I waited like half an hour, just so I was working away. I hate that. I emailed them and said, I need help with this booking. Please call me back. A week ago.

I'm trying to give you money. Nothing has happened. I have fucking tried. I'm giving up. I'm stopping now. The only thing is, Is this a real airline? Are there reviews of this airline?

Oh yeah, yeah. I'm flying on it before. It's the legit webs I booked on the airline directly. I'm calling the airline. Like, it's... Then I don't know what to do. Yeah, I wouldn't have even tried. This thing.

Yeah, you've tried like 20 different things. I've tried. Yeah. I've tried. Do you know what? Fuck them. Free flights for Fletchy. F-U-C-T-H-E-M.

F-C-K-H-H-M. F-C-K-T-S. It's too much. We were in restriction it to make it six, and now we're trying to make it. Yeah, yeah. Right. Well, if they finally email me back, maybe I'll, I'll respond to them, or if they do call me back.

They won't. They don't exist. I've tried, you know. You don't exist. You don't exist. You don't exist. You don't exist. You don't exist.

That's free money now. I am almost thinking I should request a refund. Get money. Get the money. And then book another flight where they actually take my money. So you've got a free flight now you're getting free money. But then that's fraud, right? Nah, you're being a bit fraud.

Yeah. That is the verging on fraud. It's given fraud. It's giving fraud. It's giving. It's fraud light. It's fraud adjacent. It's diet fraud.

But then is it fraud when they're in another country? Yes. Oh. Okay.
