From the ZM podcast network, it's Fletch, Fawn and Haley's little bit of pod
Welcome to a little bit of pod guys. I don't know what why I got so horny at the
Warehouse stationery the other day. Oh, you can't be far out. I do love a stationary shop. What I pop in for ink
Just runs it prints five pages, then it's like
I'm thirsty for white ink.
No but it's like, it's not, it's like oh I've got no red ink.
But I've got so much fucking blue, I'll blow your mind man.
I've got so much of the other one and you replace that one and then it's like oh I've
got no blue.
I've got no blue, help!
And then you just like fucking make up your mind, just use it all evenly at the same time.
Thank you, Fletch.
Honestly, I hate buying ink.
It pisses me off every time.
I got rid of my home printer.
We actually use it a lot,
because of the renovation, you're constantly printing shit.
So we've got them.
I print all of my printing at James's work.
Yeah, well I have asked Shannon, our producer Shannon,
to print me some personal stuff.
Yeah, she does some personal stuff.
We've got some lovely paper here.
Because we don't know how to get the printers
on our computer.
We're not allowed.
We're not allowed because they're Macs.
We're not allowed because probably go for a copy of boobies.
But then Shannon said that she's got a Mac
and she's allowed, but I don't know why we're not allowed.
Well Shannon's got privileges, but we're not privy too.
Wow.
Right.
I know, what the fuck.
Anyway, so go into the stationary store,
look at the ink, and I just feel like a,
like a pool, like a spiritual pool.
And I was like, I'm gonna head to the back of the shop.
And I just find myself in the pen bit.
Oh my God, I love it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
We're having a club.
Love the pens.
And they've got the pads, and they've got the pads.
I knew it would be on board.
Of course they do.
Mate, I start looking at the pens and I sort of know,
I'm a left-hander so I'm really particular.
Can't be too inky otherwise I'll smudge it through.
Oh, whereas I do love a good inky one.
Yeah, I'm not so good that I need really bally
but I need it to flow.
Yep.
I need to flow and if you're gonna be so sharp
that you snag, I'm not interested.
Oh, you're a snag.
A sharp, like a, what do you call like a corrugated, no.
Like a ridge, sort of like a little tip.
Cartridge paper.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You go straight through it, you'll rip the cartridge paper.
Yeah, you'll rip that.
More of a texture to it.
So man, I started picking up some pens,
and then I was like, that's when the horniness
kind of kicked in, because then I was like,
oh man, I'm thinking about the actual effect of the pen,
but also the weight, the feel in the hands.
Yeah, yeah.
You know what I mean?
Because I don't want a light pen,
but I also don't want it to feel like I'm,
you know, signing something huge,
like a formal document.
It's gotta be...
Casual.
Casual, casual, thank you.
Casual, what is your preferred,
where the finger hits the pen,
where the grip happens?
Do you like a rubber?
Do you like a rubber thing?
Maybe.
Or maybe just a continuation of the plaster.
A hard rubbery or a hard plastic?
Yeah, a hard rubber grip.
Because I've still got my high school nub,
from years of writing with a pen,
which I guess kids won't have these days.
Sits in there.
So that gets a bit sore if I write for too long.
Man, I tested out some pens.
I ended up buying one.
Oh, okay.
It was stock standard.
It's one I haven't bought before.
Very reminiscent of the one we used to have here in studio
that was a bit.
Yeah, we loved that pen, didn't we?
Inky, but not inky.
We'd fight over that pen.
We'd fight over that pen.
It runneth at nice thick lines, quite uninterrupted.
Oh, I know, I wanna see this pen now.
Did it come with a protector on the nib?
Cause you know, sometimes you pick up a pen to test it.
Small plastic ball.
Pour some more plastic ball,
might put plastics there. Small plastic ball.
Yeah, love that.
I always snort those, of course.
Although on hold, cause we do get excited
when we find a pen at work that's nice and
we'll put it in our locker.
Yeah.
So Brian Klein can't steal it.
Yeah.
Because they like to steal our nice pens.
Yeah, remember we had that purple pen for a bit.
Yeah, she took the purple one.
Yeah, she took the purple one.
I found a pen when I was overseas on holiday and I said to you, I'm really excited to bring
this back to you.
It's a free pen at a hotel.
Oh yeah.
I was like, Hayley's going to love this. When a hotel puts a bit of resource but a cash behind
getting a hotel, you appreciate it. And then I brought it back and Hayley's like, I didn't like it.
I didn't like it. And so I just had to just put it into the general population of pens
here at Workin' as Long God. As Long God, yeah I didn't like it at all. Really? Because it was
skinny. Yeah, yeah. I need a fatness. I don't like, you see what you've got there in your hands.
No, that's too heavy. I don't like a tight heavy.
That's too business.
It's a sealy, post-upper-pedic pen.
Yeah, it's too business.
But it is very, it's a heavy pen.
I like slim, slim but not skinny.
And a little inky.
And a little inky, but quite ball-y.
Do you have what is referred to as a gel pen or?
Yeah, maybe.
I'm just, I'm just an office max.
Nah, it wasn't gel. It wasn't a gel ball pen
I don't know I mean I tell you what you can just be in point you can spend a lot of time on pen honestly
I've never been hornier in my life. I just I just love it. How good is a good pen?
