At the weekend, when I was moving everything and I got to see what other people have been putting in their storage units. That's the best.

Oh, because you know, you walk, I actually am really lucky I've got a ground floor by the entrance. Because our friend James once I helped him move and he was up the elevator. In an elevator? Is this a big spot? It's a big spot. It's like five stories, this one. Wow. And they're like building another two.

There must be a lot of money in storage. But you could end up in these big, you know, rabbit warren mazes. And you just pass so many storage yes. And you think there's a padlock on that door. Yeah. What is behind it? I always want to know, like, laser vision. What's the dodgiest thing in here?

What is the most expensive thing in here? What's the weirdest thing in here? Who's living in here? That shows. storage wars was amazing but they you did hear that it was a lot of it was set up yeah they did rig a lot of it somebody messaged me listeners to the podcast um and they said would you be interested in this and it was a warrior's vintage uh letterman jacket oh and i used to have one of these huge rigour in my life ever getting rid of it and i said where'd you find that and he said oh i bought

a storage unit and it was in there like it actually like the tv show we should buy one as a show we should buy it and give away all the stuff inside i love that and make some of it for us Unless just heaps of money, we'll keep that. And we just will not go through this idea. Can you Google that? Can you actually buy? Oh, I'd love to do that. Incredible.

So, okay, so I saw two storage units open, and this is what I saw. The first one, they were storing those, you know, those bikes that you get to events and they're like, Tuk-Took bikes? Yeah. Yeah. Heaps of those. They just keep wheeling them out. And I was like, oh, that's where they sleep. I was going to say, is that where they put them when they're not in use?

That makes sense. It's like a little garage. Where would you put them? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Oh, I want one. Okay, I've found Kennards. Yep.

Who do a hire. That's where I am. They say go to Trademeat's. Trademe.com.com. And search Kennards. And they put them on there. Oh, Producer Carwin. Brows the units listed.

You'll find the contents that are listed in some detail and several photos of you. You'll also see the location. Oh, no, I want a surprise. So it's not like the TV show. It's not a complete mystery. Producer Carwin. It should be a mystery. Can we have the credit card?

I think this would be really fun but what if we got one that just is full of like old clothes like they used to on storage was? Yeah, and then we're going to get rid of them. Because if they've listed them, they're going to tell you the price, say. What if they're like horny magazines?

Horny magazines. Why do you work for horny magazines? We're going analogue. It's banned. It's banned in Australia. It's going to be here next. Oh, I just feel like that's where you would keep them if you had an excess of horny magazines.

These places in New Zealand that are doing this, do you think they actually do go through it? Because it's not, you know, the show. Because you think about it, if you owned a storage unit place, you'd want it for yourself, right? Because you've got to recoup this money they haven't paid. So surely the ones that they sell off don't have anything exciting. Yeah, so I think it's probably a waste of time. We saw the TV show. Unless he's horny magazines for Shannon, who apparently wants to go analog.

So, okay, so the other storage unit, there were two of them by the same people that I saw open next to mine. they were running some kind of laundry scheme. No, laundry scheme. What do you mean? What's that water and drainage in there? No, no, no. So, like, what I, and this is my guess, is there were about seven or eight people that were all there, because I was moving in around 9.30, 10 a.m.

And they were like, they were just racks of like linens, like towers and bed sheets. And they had bags. And what I thought they were doing was they were just about to go to like dozens of Airbnbs and clean them. So they were just like, okay, we've got it. They were like, here's your bag for this one. You need like queen sheets, towels. And then they were putting all the old laundry in it. And I was like, oh, this is so exciting.

Oh my God. What a, what a, yeah. There's like businesses happening in here. Guys, I've found one. Okay. Look, a storage unit contents are currently at $1. One dollar. What can we see in there?

There's some wood. Lots of boxes. There's some boxes. Do you think they've gone through all of that? There's a walker. There's a walker for an old person walker. Oh, my God. I love this.

it on. It'll be nice. I'm tired. I could have a walker. There's a one metre ruler and it's wooden. There's some carving. See, that looks like a lot of shit, hey. A couple of buckets, golf trundler.

So it's at a dollar reserve. Has anyone made a bid? I mean, just put a max bit of a hundred bucks on me. That mattress looks like it's got wheeze stains on it. Electric cloth cutting machine. What? Electric cloth cutting machine. I don't know what that.

A dehumidifier. Oh, that looks like it would burn your house down. Oh, look at that some, um, carving I don't know That might need a blessing Actually I don't know
