Starting point is 00:00:00 From the ZM podcast network, it's Fletch, Fawn and Hayley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to a little bit of pod. I believe Shannon, producer Shannon has hit an exciting life. We were chatting. It's not a new apartment. I know everyone always wants to sort of know she's still in there. No, I'm still there. Couch fixed.
Starting point is 00:00:22 Yes, I have a couch. Oh, yeah. A new couch. New couch. Is, great news. A new couch? New couch. Is it bigger than a 1.5? No, it's the same couch, just sitable now. Like they've just replaced it. Wait, you just said new couch,
Starting point is 00:00:32 but you're just describing the same couch. Yeah, but new to me. Oh, and they replaced it. Yeah, I don't know how it's to... I can sit on it now. It's so weird that a couch just stops working. Yeah, they do. It's interesting, hey, you sort of don't think of them
Starting point is 00:00:47 like a sort of motor engine or something that sort of runs its course. Yeah, very definitive task. Yeah. Like it's got one job. No, and the day it was getting replaced, I was like, I'm gonna go for one final go. Like, I'm just gonna see what happens
Starting point is 00:01:01 if I sit on it and then it creaked. Crumpled. Yeah, it was not good. Anyway. Not the milestone though. Not the milestone. We were talking about Love Island off here and I was kind of saying that it's weird I felt a shift in myself. Okay. And I know this milestone has happened. My frontal lobe has developed. I'm past 25. I turned 26 last week. Yep. And I've noticed- Is that the age? Yeah, week. Yep. And I've noticed- Is that the age?
Starting point is 00:01:26 Yeah, they say that. And I've noticed that- Hailey's like, when's it happening for me? I'm still waiting. I'm still waiting. I just am like, not really rooting for people to cheat on each other anymore. Oh wow, that's a big frontal lobe development.
Starting point is 00:01:40 And like watching Too Hot to Handle, as people were having sex and burning through all this money I was like, silly. Oh wow. And I was like, what the hell happened to me? Whereas last year you were like, do it. Last year I was like, yeah, burn through it, who cares about $200,000.
Starting point is 00:01:55 The frontal lobe is crucial for higher level cognitive functions including planning, decision making and voluntary movement. Voluntary movement? Voluntary movement? As opposed to, you're sort of jerking. planning, decision making and voluntary movement. Voluntary movement? As opposed to, you're sort of jerking. Maybe I'll start falling over now? Yeah, maybe you're a bit of klutzy.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Yeah. This is huge. Yeah, it's just, I've noticed it in little things I do and like, I used to just buy like, if there was a two for one sale, sometimes I'd just buy one, cause I couldn't be bothered. And now I'm like, no, that's a good deal.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Well that is. Undeniably, that's a good deal. Well that is. Undeniably, that is a good deal. They're literally giving you the second one for free and you're like, no thank you, just the one for me. Just little things like that. That could be, so that's your frontal lobe, plays a role in personality expression, social understanding and impulse control.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Yeah, I think that's my issue. Also emotional regulation, particularly in social situations. Yeah, I think that's my issue. Also emotional regulation, particularly in social situations. Yeah, well, wow. As usual, she's just hysterical. What TV show are you going to watch now instead? I'll still watch them. The Wire.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Oh, right. Yeah, yeah. You know what I might do? Rewatch Osama bin Laden again and maybe root for the right side. She is obsessed with Osama bin Laden. Now that your frontal lobes developed, you might actually realise he was a bad guy. Yes, was he attractive earlier in life? Sure.
Starting point is 00:03:11 He was. Sure. That's not even up for debate. So were a lot of bad men to be honest. Oh well congratulations on the development of your frontal lobe. Thank you, let's hope for a not regression. Oh do you think? Let's hope for a not regression?
Starting point is 00:03:23 Wow, I did it, I did it, still room.
