From the ZDM Podcast Network, it's Fletchhorn and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. I took my daughter, Daughters, to Rambozanne Night Rides. Oh, that was the last one. It was a Friday night, and I think it was because it was school holidays. They were doing night rides. Right. And we went on the Friday night.

Did they want to go? Did they want to go with you? Here's how it went. Indy said, I'd love to do night rides She's been saying it for a little while And then she said, it would it be okay In the week home with you in the holidays We do night rides

And I said, yeah, absolutely Like, let's do night rides And so she actually said Do you want to invite your girlfriend So I don't have to look after you That's cute And I thought that was really cute So you're not embarrassing?

Yeah, as well Yeah, and I said, Yeah, she's just hanging around She was busy But anyway, we went to night rides And they wanted to hang out with me. I was like, it wasn't even so I'd buy them things. Really?

Yeah, it was really weird because at that age, I wouldn't have been like, go away, mum, but I wouldn't have been hanging out of mine. So can you imagine Christine or Bev Patsy going to Rainbow's then maybe Patsy? No, my mum hates rides. Dad would have, Craig. No, not Patsy. Every family had the parent that would do the rides.

Like, my dad does the rides. Did the rides growing up. Has done the rides when he took the grandkids to Disneyland sort of thing. He'll do all the rides. Right. Mums, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Did mum do the teacups? I hurt my neck that time at Dream World.

Yes, and I think I could still feel it. Oh, no, no, no, she doesn't do the teacups. I'll be awfully dizzy and it'll ruin my day. And that's where I get it from because I can't do the spinning roundy rides. Yeah, right. Mum's a real, like, I'm happy just watching. No, I'm happy just watching. Mums will do a log flam as long as you promise with our sitting's not going to get wet.

You buy mama poncho. Yeah. Yeah, she's going to do a lot phone. But if it comes over and goes on the seat, mom's going to get wet pants, you can hear about it all day. You won't hear, yeah, you won't stop hearing about it. We won't stop hearing about it. But we did not rides. Teenagers everywhere.

The new pirate ship at Rambo's End. Oh yeah, that's right. Oh, it's so good a day. We did that. It goes way more vertical than the last pirate ship. It cramped. But I sat down in a row with the four 14 year olds that we took out there. No, that's Dolby's surround sound.

They pulled the bar down. Yeah. And I'm like, I can't breathe. But it's locked. And they're like, we're starting the ride. I was just like, I can't breathe. Oh, the skinny little teenagers. Skinny little teenage girls.

They had to lock the teenagers in. Yeah. And so I was like, like, like, ramning cut in half. So when we were like vertical and all the way it was going down, yeah, she was pretty tough. But it got fun. I've never done night rides before. That's cool, man.

Yeah, I've never done the night time one. But it's in rocks. I mean, it's all we've got. It's all we've got. So it has to. Did the log flume a few times? Yeah. And the gold rush.

You don't get as wet as you used to. No, you don't get as wet as you used to. Yeah, I was like bracing. I was at the front and then I didn't get wet at all. Yeah, I remember the front because they said to me you've got to sit at the front

because you're the heaviest. Oh, and I was out. But you really got fat shamed this whole night. The whole night. But then I didn't get wet. Which is great

because I did not want to watch. I was the mum. I don't want to sit where I'm going to get wet, but I'll go on the rides. I actually feel like the three of us could have a really nifty time at Rambo's Inn together. I think we could go straight after work one day.

Yeah, yeah. We'd go right down in 15 minutes. Yeah, because no one to be there. Yeah. Love that. You power through it.
