From the Zedium Podcast Network, it's Fletchfallen and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. Round two, baby. I'm doing it. This weekend, on a whim, I'm doing another garage sale. Oh, wow. Oh, really? Yeah.

Where did you find you didn't have much stuff left when I came towards the end of the garage sale? The scraps, yeah. Well, so we did this garage sale, and we ended up making a good bit of money, but there was still like a fair amount left particularly close. Yeah. And so we're really pushing hard the clothes this time. And we do have a few other contributors bringing sort of, I'll say, their shit to my garage sale. Oh, really?

Okay. Yeah, yeah. Are you charging a commission for your space? Oh, I will absolutely not be keeping an eye on what's theirs and what's mine. Yeah. I'm sorry. If it's in my garage sale, it's my profit. But no, we've got so many clothes left over.

And I had friends coming over and they'd pop down to the garage. You get a beer out of the garage fridge. and I'd be like, have a look through the clothes. I had friends coming up, be like, can I have these? And I was like, there's still so much good stuff. Yeah, right. So we're going again, just on a whim,

no advertising, just we're doing it on Sunday. This Sunday. Yeah, yeah. And my parents, so my mum's been going through her storage unit and everything. We've got some more goods, and I've been scraping through. I'm getting rid. It feels good. Yeah, right.

Wow. I will say this time, I think I'll drink less wine because mom and I ended up polishing off nearly two bottles of Prosecco last time. Eating into the profits. Eating into the profits. It's one, but also two, getting real liberal on the pricing. Yes, because one. Coming out with a Karen Walker and I was like, I don't know, 10 bucks, 20 bucks.

Oh yeah, whereas sober you will be like, no, 100. I'm sorry, yeah, that's four grand. Yeah. So, yeah, this time I'm going to, I've got just some tweaks and adjustments to make. Now, when you say no advertising, that sounds dangerous. What do you mean, no advertising? Well, I've put, okay, here's what I need to do is I've put it up on the local community Facebook page. Okay.

So that's that's that. And then I'm just going to try to repurpose the original signs because remember I put a lot of effort into there. That's a gas sale. And I'll just have to sort of maybe get some twink. But I can't get them up until the weekend. Yeah, right. Okay.

We'll just see how it goes, you know. Okay. People to come pop along and take my goods. Wow. It's got to go. It's got to go. Last summer when I rocked around with like an hour to go, and it got a bit quiet.

She's like, I was like, oh no, it's got a bit quiet. She's like, check this out. Open her little fanny pack full cash. Like drug dealer amounts of cash. Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, it felt so nice to have all that cash. Yeah, I love.

There's something about having a bit of cash, eh? Like a what? Yeah. And have you fed that all into the supermarket checkout machine so the IRD doesn't get you? No, it's currently still in its cash form. Yeah. Because I know it'll, if it drops into my bank account, I'd be like, ploik
