Okay. So, on my 30th birthday, Aaron proposed to me. Yes. And he gave me a box from Zoe and Morgan. Yeah. And I opened it up and it was a beautiful necklace with a small emerald in it. Yeah. And I've worn it every day since then.

And then he gave me a second box and had my engagement ring. Big day. Yeah. Really sentimental day. So that was about four years ago. Well, no, it was four years ago. Because I'm 34. Face it, Hayley.

Anyway, the other day I got a facial. And as part of the facial, they do the décolletage. As you know, mine is rapidly aging due to sun exposure, the neck and the chest. So I took off my necklace and I put it in the small little coin pocket in your jeans. In that moment, I said, you'll lose that. But I still did it instead of putting it in my handbag, which would be a normal thing to do. Then those jeans somehow ended up in the back of my car. And now you've seen the back of my car. Yeah. And now you've seen the back of my car.

It is a dump fire. You can't see the seat. You can't see the seat. You couldn't sit in the seat, let alone see it. You open the door, it immediately smells like cold water surf. Cold water surf. Because all the laundry powder has been strewn. Strewn across all the floor and everything.

Yeah. So these jeans were in there, and I kept looking at the jeans and being like, Hayley, don't forget, your necklace is in there. But I've gone without wearing it for a week just because life has been chaos. Yeah. I went and did some laundry. Oh no. And I took the basket out of my car and I, because I don't have a laundry at the moment, took the basket out of my car,

did the laundry and then I looked in the back of my car and I was like, man, some of these clothes are dirty. I'll just sweep them up and get them. Oh no. Then I was emptying the laundry of my car. I was like, man, some of these clothes are dirty. I'll just sweep them up and get them. Oh, no.

Then I was emptying the laundry basket last night and I saw the jeans and I went, hmm. Oh, no. Finger, fingering all the pockets. Yeah. The necklace is gone. Oh, no. Is it in like the bottom of some washing machine in West Auckland at a laundromat? Yeah, probably.

Oh, no. And I like, I used three different machines at the laundromat, three different dryers because I did a massive load of washing. But surely they've all got filters and catches, right? Surely you can just ring up the person and be like, have you found a necklace? Yeah, well, I text the number of the owner. Yeah.

This is the problem. And I put a post on the, Vaughn will see it, on the local Qu you know where we live page yeah and um people responded being like go look but the problem was i'd had too many wines couldn't look so i couldn't go drive but then also what you've done now is you've told everybody else that there's treasure there's treasure and they will go and look At the QMU laundromat Yeah And they will go and find my little emerald necklace That means so much to me And I have not told Aaron
