No. I didn't wake up and I was late for the show. If you were listening to the pod and thinking, where the fuck is she? Wake me up inside. She's asleep.

Wake me up instead. I think I called 35 times. Just went straight to voicemail. Yeah. I got a talking to. And as a result, Haley got her. Everybody can leave except Haley after the meeting.

And I was like, oh, you're in trouble. And you actually were. I actually were. You know what? Fair enough. It's not great. But I was like, right, you know, I need a plan because when I'm tired, the phone has let me down multiple times. You know, this is not the first time this has happened to me.

And so I thought I needed an alarm clock. And then I was like, it's time. It is time. So I went to the electronics store. Yeah. And I purchased me my first Alexa. Oh, wow. I got the alarm clock one with the screen

It's a bit fancy I went sort of fancy with it And I got an Alexa Can't fucking figure the thing out At all Because I'm Apple So I kept saying Hey Alexa

Apparently you don't need to say hey No you just say Alexa Well but I know but I'm confused of Sorry I'm not going to say Because she's listening right now Yeah How do Apple do these

They've got home pods Yeah they do Yeah They do but I don't know why I didn't do that I just everyone's into Alexa So I got an Alexa And then I was trying to

set up a really cool morning routine for her to wake me up and oh no by the way and then I changed gender immediately because I realise you could change the voice. Did you know Irish? Male? No I went I went male Australian but I doubled the speed.

Oh no you don't do Australian. He goes like they don't do my daddy. He goes like they don't do it. You've got to have Irish Siri is a good one. Well there is no Irish Alexa. It's Indian, British Australian American

I would go any accent over Australian Well I've got a bit of a thing for the Aussie accent at the moment Do you? Okay, yuck Anyway So he talks really fast like this But he's got a little bit of an Australian accent like that

Yeah So I set him up And then I was like Try to get this cool morning routine Where I wanted it to do something crazy Like you can get it to turn lights on Right? Yeah

If you've got the lights If you've got smart lights Or switches Yeah And then I wanted him to tell me the weather Yeah So do like a It's

38 degrees in Auckland this morning Mine keeps pronouncing QMU where I live is cum mu I love that And the weather today in come you It'll be 13 degrees

I'm like oh Don't say it like that Yeah yeah In cum new it is It really needs some Todayo lessons Yeah it does But then and then I wanted it

To start playing music Yep And I set it up to play Queen in the mornings And in this morning Every day no I know Because I'll start to hate my favourite band

Yeah But then in this morning It woke me up with the weirdest noise and then did none of the other stuff so I've obviously like screwed it up I think you've got to you've got to do a test in the afternoon while you're there

to be like wake me up at like 2pm and just wait for it to happen yes because you see a routine yeah I don't know how it works I don't know I got it to tell the current time and then play Queen Radio but it didn't do any of that really so

so probably won't wake up and get Tomorrow. Not a great start. Not a great start. No. But I did love practicing whispering to it. Oh, it's the best. Hey, Alexa, what's the time? It's 4.15, your little bitch.

Oh. Because I didn't know that you could whisper to it. Yeah, no, whispers back. In the middle of the night, you'd be like, hey, what's the time? Because you'd think it's nearly time for work. And she's like, it is 244 a. And all your neighbors are just like, what? And mine one's taken to her, because I'll say Alexa play brown noise.

Yeah. And it'll go, it'll go, but then it'll go flashing these lights. And I have to say, hey, Alexa, no lights. Yeah, I did that last night, tried out that because I was like, this is what vaunted. So I said, hey, Alexa play brown noise. But it was not the kind of brown noise I like. Oh, really?

My brown noise swells up and down and kind of takes on a journey. This one was just like, eh. Anyway, TBC, I will figure it out. And mark my words, I shall never sleep in again. Shut up. I'm not saying anything.
