Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. Now you may have heard earlier in the week that, oh I'll just be missing for a chunk of it, won't I, the podcast? Yeah, because I usually get up at 4.15 and I woke up at 6.15. Now that's 15 minutes after I'm on air and that's an hour 15 after I like to be at work. And you live a long way away. Yeah, so there's no way of just quickly getting in. So

yeah, I slept in and the reason was my phone hasn't been connecting to Wi-Fi not at my house, not at work and every time I try it just says unable, unable to connect to this. And then I was like, maybe it's a Wi-Fi problem, but it's not. It's everywhere. And I had to reset the network settings and all of that, and that didn't fix it.

So I had to do a full phone reset. And when I did it, it turned off my sleep schedule and my alarms and stuff. Such a pain. But even – That's wild. Because normally you'd reset from backup. I did. Oh,

and it deleted all your schedules. It deleted it all. It was so bizarre. Little words of the wise to check that. You're not blaming yourself at all for being late. You're blaming the iPhone. No, I genuinely not.

Because do you, even though you use sleep schedules, still check that it's on before you go to sleep every night? No, not every night. I just make sure the volume's up. Yes, I do make sure it's on every night and I put backup alarms off

because I'm so tired. Yeah. But I did it when I was in bed. I was like, I'm so sick. I was trying to watch Instagram and it was like, the Wi-Fi wasn't good. So I did it then

when then drifted off to sleep. So the timing was all bad. Yeah. But then like, I've just been noticing other things about this phone reset. And the one that was the worst, oh, one, I've got to like

log into everything again. Yeah. And two, other things about this phone reset and the one that was the worst oh one i've got to like log into everything again yeah and two yesterday in auckland we know we're having a really hot summer in new zealand actually across the country i didn't realize it was 78 degrees in auckland yesterday it's a fahrenheit i just threw it was like what the hell would also have been hotter than that in fahren, wouldn't it? Yeah, I would have thought so. Well, yesterday it was 78 degrees. So your weather app is in Fahrenheit.

Surely there's a setting. Here, can you see that? Oh, look, click on the dots up there. My location, I've changed it now. Oh, you have, yeah. My location's 78 degrees. Oh. 78. That's odd, isn't it?

And so it said for the week it was 78, 71, 76, where it's usually, this week it's like 24, 25 degrees. Yeah. Like that. It was so bizarre. And then I had to go in and like re-change it to be on thingy. But it looked so funny seeing that Auckland was 78 degrees. Because it said it was using my location.

Fahrenheit's weird, eh? I don't understand. Well, recently I've been overseas and you say to someone, oh my God, it's so hot. Yeah, they're like, it's 90 or 100 and something.

You're just like, what is that? It's much easier on a smaller number. Yeah, much easier. 90s and 100s in Fahrenheit are hot. It's like on ovens

when they're like, put your oven to 320 and you're like, that's too hot. That's too hot, yeah. My oven doesn't even go that hot. I don't're like put your oven to 320 and you're like that's too hot that's too yeah my oven doesn't even go i don't even have that number upon my oven and you're like oh that's 180 that's because we always all the uh recipe blogs we read we have to they're in us you can i like it when they give you the option yeah uk or us because we're we're hot from the so what do you what's with your phone are you to do another reset or is it... Do you know what? I'm so stubborn and the reset stuffed me up so much that I'm just doing a soft step-by-step reset. All my notifications, my phone ring was different and then it was like... You know how embarrassing? Oh, you had Boomer text on. Text clicky wikis and that kind of stuff.

Yeah, that's good stuff. My location services are all off and wrong. It's just an utter pain in the boss. I still have you on fine, friends, because since you slept in, every morning I've been checking your arrival to make sure you're coming. Do you know what? I knew that. I felt your eyes on me when I got in my car this morning.

Did you? Yeah, I felt. I was like, he'll be checking to make sure I'm up. Yeah, yeah. Because I got to work and I set up and I was like, now, do I need to call Hayley? Yes. Fine, friends. Yeah. Arriving, nearly arriving at work. I was like, good girl. Yeah, because I turned up about 10 minutes after you. Yeah. I knew, I felt your eyes on me. Yeah, good. Someone was watching me.

Okay. And do you know what's terrible? I was listening to porn in the car, so it's weird that you're watching porn. Oh, your smut talk. My smut. I had an Audible smut book on. What book are you listening to at the moment? What's it called?

It's not, I call it porn, but it's not. It's one that is really popular. It's more fantasy. A Court of Thorns and Roses. I've heard of that. So I did that thing the other day where I got into Hayley's car and she quickly turned it down. Oh my God, it was so funny. And my dad was staying.

My dad's been staying and he got in the car as well. And I wasn't listening to A Court of Thorns and Roses. I was listening to something absolutely filthy. And my dad got in and I was like, volume down.
