From the ZM podcast network, it's Fletch, Fawn and Hayley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to a little bit of pod. My parents are currently overseas. We've touched on them. Have they been in New Orleans? Did they like it? They did say they walked down Bourbon Street. Yep.

And hold on, they said something very specific. Yeah. Tal Fletch. I've walked down... Oh, I love this. This is pretty... Telfletch, you'd be so proud of us. And then, we're gonna touch on that in a minute.

Telfletch, I've walked down Bourbon Street. Oh, yeah. My hearing and sense of smell were okay when I started, but both have deteriorated considerably since. The smell is something I'm not used to. I was walking on sunshine at the end of that. Dad. What's the smell?

Weed. Oh, okay. Is that the street? Is that? Yeah, that's the smell? Weed. Oh, OK. Is that the street, is it? Yeah, that's the, I think it, Bourbon Street is the one. Bourbon Street's the famous, you know, the just absolute party town. Jazz. I love this.

Lots of jazz. Lots of jazz bars. And jazz cigarettes, apparently. I thought it was, I didn't know what to expect, but. I'd love to go there. I've never been. Yeah, I don't know if you'd like it, though, because I thought it was a bit like, yeah.

Like, I feel like if you're with a group of friends and you're just on the piss, it'd be amazing. So it's fine. Right, it's super party central. Yeah, and it's a bit, you know, think Goldie. Yeah, because I'm thinking jazz clubs. Yeah, I was like, skoodabapapapa. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sort of bands and stuff. Really?

Like think stags, do's and hens parties. Oh! Yeah, it's... What if you go early? Nah. What's it like during the day? Quiet? Nah, well I mean it's still loud. It's never quiet.

It's yeah, it's a party zone. Right. Well I'm a party girl. I mean it's amazing, definitely worth going to. But you don't go on a little destination, little couples retreat. No, I don't know if it's in New Orleans, if it's a couples place.

I love that your dad was so, But why are they proud? so innocent? Why are they proud of me? Tell Fletch he'd be so proud of us, we've been Ubering everywhere. Oh, wow. Because that's what mum said.

Ask Fletch what he does, you know, does he book transport when he goes to these places? Book transport. Oh, now how cute is that? That's you know, old people like to have a guaranteed, Yeah, they love to, they love a transport when they get there. Airport pickup. Yeah and they'll just have the name on the sign, you know.

But they've Ubered before. The Smiths. I Ubered with them for the first, when they first used Uber. Oh yep. Blew their minds. Because it's not really where they live right? How does this person know where I am? How does this know?

Yeah and then you say the code, yep that's And your dad was like, checking, holding his phone up and checking the number plate. Yeah. That matches and then check drives, make sure the drive is the same. Quite often overseas you'll give them a PIN number. Yeah. Yeah.

It's like a safety thing as well. Yeah. Yeah. Which they don't do here. That took some getting used to. Well, Fletcher, are you proud of them? So proud of them. Oh, that's nice.

You have to pass that on for them. I will. I will pass that on. Yeah, tell them I'm very proud of them. Yeah, of them! Oh that's nice, you have to pass that on Vaughan. I will, I will pass that on. Tell them I'm very proud of them. Yeah I will. He is in fact. It's good to be proud. Where are they off to next? Well let me consult my handwritten, my dad's handwritten itinerary.

Oh that's right, beautiful. Tell them there's an app for that too, Tripit. Nah, that's great app. They're doing one app at a time. One app at a time. Otherwise it's too overwhelming having two apps. Well apparently by now they've left New Orleans, they've been to Baton Rouge.

They went to the World War II Museum. Oh yeah, lovely. Said by the end of it they were very warred out. Yeah, you do get a bit warred out. Get a bit warred out. Warred out, yeah I mean, oh God forbid at least you weren't in the war. I know, yeah, definitely could've been worse.

Memphis, Memphis. Oh, lovely. Memphis, Memphis, wasteland. Yeah, I'd love to go there, yeah. Definitely could have been worse. Memphis, Memphis. Oh, lovely. Memphis, Texas. I'd love to go there, I'd love to go to Nashville as well. That's next, so Memphis and then Graceland and then some Nashville. I'd love to do a little American tour but I just don't want to get shot.

And what if I got pregnant? You know, in the wrong state. Well yeah, they might shoot you. Yeah, maybe. Yeah, or that, all right, you might catch whatever Iran's gonna throw back. Oh yeah. Hell of a time.
