Starting point is 00:00:00 From the ZDM Podcast Network, it's Fletchborne and Haley's Little Bit of Pod. Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod. Guys, you know, I've been going on about these renovations and they're finished. There was one little thing that was annoying me about the Renos. It had all this nice new painted walls, all these nice new, you know... That little square of carpet. Bits and... What do you mean, a little square of carpet?
Starting point is 00:00:22 Because you mentioned and I can't unsay it. There's a carton carpet. Oh, yeah, look, it doesn't matter. It's not that. It does. I don't. It's honestly, I walked in and I was like, shump.
Starting point is 00:00:32 The whole house looks gorgeous and I was like, it's, I, it's a redo. You're gonna have to re-go. It's a redo. It's a redo. It was the old door handles on a couple of doors.
Starting point is 00:00:43 Oh yeah. I was like, you know what? I'm going to change these. Oh yeah, nice. By myself. Oh, God. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Here we go. Never done that before. How do you even do it? It's actually quite complicated door handles. And nice door knobs aren't cheap. So you don't want to buy them and like, fuck it up. Well, yeah,
Starting point is 00:00:58 So I figured I watched some YouTube, some tutorials. It's not just put it in the handle, put in the handle. You've got to do the internal mechanism. And you've got to get it off. You've got to pop the door handle off. There's a little pinhole. Who knew that was on the door handle? So I get those off and I take off all the screws and then there's just a hole in the door.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Yeah. I'm like, oh, fuck, I'm in now. Yeah, otherwise, yeah. I have to do this now. Otherwise, I have to embarrassingly ask a professional. Yeah, for a pound. Yeah. And so I went to the hardware store, bought some door handle.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Nice. And got some nice brushed. Oh, what did you go? Like a brushed kind of a brass skill. Nice, lovely. Yeah, like a brushed darker color. And yeah, and so I put them on. Oh my God, I did it all myself.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Well done. And I just stood there. You know when you do something, you just stand there looking? Yeah, and then you go to the kitchen to do something. You're like, look, pick at the door, you're like, hell yeah. And then so they've been on a few days now. And every time I open the door, I'm like, eh. And I give it a wiggle.
Starting point is 00:01:54 I'm like, oh, it's so tight. Yeah, nice. And I did it myself with a tutorial. This is so good. I don't think I could put one on if there wasn't the hole already there because you've got to carve out the latch. I've watched this be done when we were renovating. It's incredible.
Starting point is 00:02:08 And we've got like solid Cody Wood doors, like these huge heavy doors. And so like cutting these holes in them, you're like, you get one shot. Yeah. So, yeah, you had the hole. So you kind of half did it. Yeah, but I may have to make sure everything already fit the hole because there's different size everything. Wow, well done. Do you do that thing?
Starting point is 00:02:25 You know, sometimes you go into a new build and you do. do this and the handle goes the wrong way. You're going to lift it up and go ahead. Oh, yeah. Like that. Everything was the right way round. It was beautiful. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Upside down, new townhouse handles. You want to why all these places are going under. Oh, no. All this construction company is putting handles on upside down. Fletch's handles. Fletch's handles. He can handle anything. Didn't do so great.
Starting point is 00:02:49 Oh my God. That would be my tagline on my van. Fletch's handles. He can handle anything. That's bloody goodness. There's a great business there. As long as in bracket. The holes drilled.
Starting point is 00:02:59 As long as the holes there's a pre-existing door jam. Yeah, yeah, yeah. As long as there's a pre-existing hole, he can handle it. It seems like a lot to put on the sign of a van. It's big. It's all about graphic design. And then Fledgeshandles at gmail.com. No, at yahoo.
Starting point is 00:03:11 At yahoo. Honestly, when I see a business and they've got their sign written email and it's a Yahoo or a Gmail or a hotmail one the other day on a van, I'm like, I would have taken the money you took to get that sign printed on your van and paid someone to set you up a domain. A website. I know. Is it that expensive? No, and when I set up my website,
Starting point is 00:03:31 Haleysprowrown.com. Tickets available for some shows. Tickets available for South Island and shit. They do offer you a little add-on so that I could have Haley at hailysprow.com. I didn't do that. Oh, right, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I generally would want people to leave me alone.
Starting point is 00:03:48 But, yeah, it is embarrassing as a business one too. Well, I'm very proud of you. Thank you. I'll be DIYing as well, putting up my own shelves and whatnot. Oh, I just in shelves, so. It's quite hard. I did some shit. They didn't go as well, so we won't talk about that.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Yeah, yeah, it's bloody. I've really fucked mine up. Drilled a couple of holes and the aluminium framings had to go an inch to the right. Yeah, now you've got a hole there. I've been like screwing in and finding not a single stud, even though in my house there's hundreds of them. And Stut finder's like, yeah, right here. Yeah, and you're like, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Okay, machine, draw a hole. Some jobs need a person. Yeah. But not Fletcher's handles. He can handle anything. Perthases, as long as there's a hole. already as a whole at yahoo.com.com.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Z.
