Welcome to A Little Bit of Pod, the big pod, and the show is back July 17. We're on holiday right now and I probably have been or am about to go to Disneyland. Yeah, the whole family. My family, yeah. And my mum's going.

And I will say before we went, I did say to her in one of our phone calls discussing details. Yeah. Of which I'm like, you just talk to Shaday about this. I'm not a details guy. Yeah. You just talk to Shaday. Mum, stop talking.

Mum, you're telling me things I'm going to forget. Mum. And then I said, Mum, when we go to Disneyland, are we going to take drugs? And she said, Fawn, what are you're telling me things I'm going to forget, mum. And then I said, mum, when we go to Disneyland, are we going to take drugs? And she said, Fawn, what are you talking about? What kind of drugs are you going to take? Well, you can get edibles. There's shops that sell edibles, right?

Famously, I don't do very well on them. Yeah, but what if you go green and you're all sick and then you ruin your whole day and then you're also an embarrassing dad? Yeah, and you walk around goofy. He's like, ooh, what? So you're like, what? Because I know that you're just winding your mum up. I'm just winding my mum up.

And you're not going to do that. But people famously do. And they love it. But yeah, I'm a big lightweight. It's a thing online. Comedian Justine Smith does stand up about it. And her and her husband went to Disneyland. They're obsessed with Disneyland.

Really? Yeah, they love it. And they had a little yum, yum, yum time. And they went totally green. And they went a little yum, yum, yum time, and they went totally green, and they went on Magic Mountain or whatever, the Space Mountain, and came out and just had to sit down for three hours and try to put their feet back on us.

But that's the thing, there's no escaping... The madness. Everything. Yeah. You know, when that happens, you need to go somewhere quiet and not be stimulated. Back to the hotel.

It would be impossible to find a place that's not visually or with audio or anything stimulating you. Have you ever done drugs with your parents before? No, no, no, no, no. Fletch, have you smoked a ganja with Bev? No. No, neither. No.

Well, I don't do that. You don't do the drugs. I don't do the drugs. No, neither. Growing up, someone snuck onto our farm in this swampy area and cleared this bit in the middle and then put up wire fencing and grew marijuana in it. On your farm?

Yeah, and Dad was doing a blackberry spray, and he just was down the farm, and then you could just hear from down the farm, Vaughn, Vaughn. And I was like, what? I was like, what? I was like, what? And he's like, get your ass down here. Did he think it was you?

He thought it was me. He's like, explain this. I was like, I don't know what I'm supposed to be explaining. And he's like, yeah. And he believed me. He was like, oh, okay. And I was like, you want to be careful because people that plant drugs generally like booby trap and stuff.

And we found around it, like, they were like toy toy and stuff. So if you're going through and you grabbed it to hold on to something, there were like blades in it. Oh my God. But it was all like, this was all mind blowing to dad. I was like, oh yeah, some of them like put shotguns and stuff in it to stop other people coming and stealing. Not necessarily it being discovered by the farmer,

but to stop people coming and like raiding it if they find out about it. Holy. Yeah, growing marijuana. Did you ever catch anyone coming back to try and get them? Nah. Well, because that was the thing. Dad just pulled it all down and chucked the wire.

I think he reused the wire because nothing goes to waste. Nothing goes to waste, yeah. But the rest would have just got burnt. That's wild. Funnily enough, he probably burnt it in the home burnerton and stood there making sure it was all burnt. Look at any of those biscuits.

And like the crazy thing is it's quite an open from the road area. It's not like you could do that subtly on your parents farm. Because he rang the police and reported and everything and they said they just would have come down the creek. Big narc. Yeah. Big narc energy.

What a loser. But then my parents would my parents don't even drink too much. Yeah. My mum will have two glasses of wine and be like, and we'll go to pour another one. She'll be like, oh, no, enough for me. Thank you. Right. Like she hates being out of control.

So the idea of doing drugs, absolutely so far away. So did she tell you off for the joke about doing drugs at Disneyland? Yes. Okay, right. I said I'm only joking. I eventually told her I was only joking, and she's like, that's not a funny joke. That's not even a funny joke.

She's like, we're the family. Your kids are going to be there. That's not a funny joke. I was like, okay. But I am looking forward to at Disneyland, because I did last time, keeping an eye out for the people who are during their 20s, 30s, no kids, just like a little bit. And someone turns on like in the Star Wars part,

light up a lightsaber and they're like. Oh, my God. Yes.
